Very good locally made donuts, easily among the top 5 i have sampled over the decades. The two raised donuts i had were light and springy, cooked correctly and not oily, doughy, or burnt. The chocolate and glaze were good. The only donuts i have had better had slightly sweeter dough, were larger, and had a richer cocoa taste in the chocolate, but that was in 1989 in California. These were good enough that i would make a trip there again, something i rarely say about a donut shop.

They are always closing or closed when I go there and when I do make it in before closing theres never a selection of Donuts. They either dont care about their customers or are just lazy Im on the fence about which one it is. Today there was another sign on the door saying they were closed again for 5 more days.

I like this shop and its owners but I cant overlook how they alienate buyers every day buy not preparing enough product to give every customer a full choice of selection.The shop seemingly runs put of doughnuts every day and closes their doors most days between 10 and 11am. Sometimes even sooner. The last 90 minutes of their day presents very limited options as they sell out down to the last doughnut. Today, a Saturday, they were closed and cleaning before 10am. I have never seen a day old product for sale in this bakery. I wish them well, taking off two days a week and working limited inventory hours. I dont want my buy choice always limited by selection and availability. I can no longer be a regular customer.

The donuts were delicious. I had to buy two to make the credit card limit but I wasnt mad about it because I ate them immediately. I am also interested in donating to the unicorn/ donut art around the shop. Its great.

Great donuts! Fresh, great texture, and good selection. Classic donuts, not crazy fancy ones with Bacon. Save those for the donut hipsters. The folks working are nice too!

Went there at around 9:30 and they had around 3 trays out with around 3 doughnuts per flavor. The doughnuts were half decent but not myFirst choice.

Excellent donuts!! I made it in the door before 8am on a Sunday morning and had a wonderful, fresh selection for the dozen donuts I am buying to surprise my roommates. Yay! I’m the only one here! I quickly made my selection and noticed people lining up behind me. Heading out the door with my dozen, the parking lot is filling up. Get there early for the best selection!! The “Pine Cone” donut is great! The filled donuts are amazing! Only problem is, I’m going to eat the whole dozen! Happiness CAN be bought..and it’s only 4 miles from my house!! Thank you, Yoonicorn Donuts!!

You will never find a better donut shop, so get there early, because they sell out fast some days. Dont say I didnt tell you.

AWESOME Little place! My donuts were delicious! I highly recommend going early in the morning as when I got there (Around 10:30) They were almost sold out. The staff there is very friendly.

A friend recommended this months this winter and I’ve been dying to try it, but with the virus, I haven’t gotten around to it yet. We got here around 9:00am on a Sunday after going for a run thinking they’d have a great selection to choose from. I was very disappointed to find only ~5 options and just a few left of each. The donuts themselves were mostly good, but not amazing. Maybe I’m expecting too much or maybe they have just had a mad rush if customers, but there was very little to choose from. Likely won’t be coming back

A simple flavor with a strong taste. I love the Pinecone so far the best, cinnamon/sugar twists are nice balance of flavor, and donut holes are great.

This is the place to go for donuts. Just be sure to get there early as the selection dwindles by 10am.

I have been searching for a good donut place since I moved here from Southern California and FINALLY found this gem. Though it’s humble in aesthetics on the inside and out, they make AMAZING DONUTS! They don’t charge an arm and a leg either like Lamar’s plus their donuts taste way better. I’m so happy I found this place. All they are missing is the signature pink box.

Best donut I’ve ever had in my life! I had raspberry filled. The filling is like pie filling rather than jam. It’s the donut that’s amazing. A light pillow of yumminess. Almost buttery flavor. Coffee is not bad either.

I like its a cute Ma Pa shop, and I would say they are the best donuts early in the morning!! Always fresh, with dough that melts in your mouth. But the donut sizes are different every day with no consistency, and the cream filled taste different everyday. Good days its perfect other days its very sour or bitter. Sometimes chocolate and other flavors are even off. Also I have noticed they are closed on Mondays most weeks. All in all I like their donuts but could be better with more consistency in size and flavors.

Nothing but good to say about this neighborhood donut shop, very friendly owner/operators... I grab a cocoa here most mornings... the same small group of local retired folk are there visiting with their coffee and warm donuts.... great spot...

Simply put, these are the best donuts anywhere. No this isnt some pretentious $3/donut shop. These are not artisanal donuts. These are classic donuts done better than anyone else. The cake donuts are tender. The risen donuts have subtleties of favor that are normally masked in an old fryer oil taste at other shops.Coffee is old school but very good! Pour your own decaf or regular from glass Bunn pots. 20 years ago this would have been deemed good coffee. Nowadays people have to have $5 choices. There is a very good espressoria across the parking lot if you must.The owners are friendly, and I love to give them business.

The 4 stars is partly my fault. The shop runs out of donuts early and I didn’t get there until after 10 on a weekend. It looked like there was some inventory behind the counter that needed to be put away. Wasn’t organized very well. Donuts - the main reason you go were very good. I bet the ones I missed out on were GREAT. If I make it earlier I will update review. Donuts are Yummy!!

Great donuts but they NEVER MAKE ENOUGH!!! Once they are gone they are gone. If they made more they would sell. Went once and they were closed during business hours? No sign or anything.

I went to Daylight Donuts this morning to pick up 80 dozen donut holes that I ordered a couple days ago for my works customer appreciation day. I get there at 8:00am and they are pretty busy but they manage to get to me within a couple minutes. I tell them about my donuts and they immediately run to the back and grab them. The gentleman working grabs the 6 boxes and carries them to my car without me asking. I was very impressed by not only their fantastic donuts but their excellent customer service! I look forward to going back there to try out their Pinecone donut which looked delicious!

Good home style cake and yeast raised doughnuts. The apple fritters and apple spice doughnuts were calling my name. The apple spice was good with their fresh ground coffee. Also the yeast raised were light and not to sicky sweet. Will definately go back to try the apple fritters 😊Friendly service, one of those places that knows the regulars by name, which tells you they get lots of repeat business.

No longer daylight donuts, now they just taste like an average donut. They used to have a nice chewy texture that set them apart, now its just like white bread.

Minimal selection. Not the best donuts Ive ever had. Honestly, King Soopers donuts are better and have a better selection.

I give it 3 stars because this establishment is no longer called Daylight Donuts. The establishment is actually called yooniecorn donuts. The price for 3 chocolate glazed donuts and 3 rasberry Bismarks was $7.00 which is a great price. I did not feel the positive energy or the helpful atmosphere from the employees that work there. Though again it was not called Daylight Donuts, so I assume that it wouldnt be the same service as others reviewed. Overall it was a good experience, service was quick, donuts tasted good (from the 2 I purchased), restroom was clean, there was plenty of seating and it was a clean establishment. Standard donut shop in my opinion.

I am biased but I like the donuts at daylight donuts more than others as I grew up getting donuts and milk with my grandparents while they ate donuts and drank coffee with the neighbors so the twists and donut holes are just good memories for me.
