My favorite store in town! Decorated beautifully and great products. It is my go to for great gifts for my family and friends and I usually pick something up for me as well. Also, love to walk by and see their window display. Always looks great!

I was in the shop today, it was not my first time in, nor will it be my last! The space is intimate and the selection of goods is curated and thoughtful. This space is welcoming the staff is friendly and helpful and the supplies are stunning. My experience today was with Taylor, they went out of their way to make my experience great and make sure that I had what I needed to bring more equity to my classroom! They were kind, personable, helpful, and full of light! Maker General is a must for makers young and old. I can’t recommend it enough!

Definitely a cute little shop that is dedicated to cross stitching, yarn, do it yourself patterns and patches. I just hopped into creating and this store is definitely a good outlet for that. Glad to see something like this in Longmont.

My daughter LOVED the kid’s workshop. I felt that she was safe (wore masks inside since kids aren’t vaccinated) and engaged in the class. We would absolutely do it again!

Such a great shop! You can find a craft for any ability, and the staff is so welcoming and helpful. Also highly recommend the classes for kids - creative projects and paced for their skill level. A must visit when in Longmont!

Cute shoo for crafts... very few samples of what all the crafts are for. Not super nice saleperson.Re workshops... very poor communication... class was 25 % shorter than advertised, teacher was pretty unfriendly....in fact our girls were reluctant salesperson. Teacher started setting up a couple minutes AFTER class was set to begin... and it was a fair chunk of change

One of my top 5 fav places in Longmont. Staff feel like friends, their design style, creativity and choice of goods is outstanding. Taylor gave me a free lesson on making a rope rainbow and she was uber patient, helpful and super nice to chat with. Love that you’re in Longmont and all of you!

I absolutely loved Maker General and the friendly, welcoming, and helpful vibe when I walked in. I stopped by for some sage to smudge my new home and the woman working there, not sure if she was the owner, was helpful and so nice. I will definitely be stopping by in the future. Plus who doesn’t love supporting a small business!!!

I took a shirt making class with Julie and really loved it! Shes an excellent teacher and made it fun for everyone. It was a really low pressure environment and I learned a lot. She has a ton of patience and is super generous with her time. She stayed later to help those of us that werent finished with our projects. I highly recommend taking a class here! And the store itself has a lot of great items including those from local artists so go and support your community of artists and local businesses!

I’m purchasing my forth round of masks.I’m a hairstylist and I have to change masks with each guest. Often a guest arrives with no mask and they need to wear one.. The masks are comfortable durable and I can breathe through them. Upon ordering, it’ll take a few days for them to be made if your special ordering.

Stopped in when Julie was there. So lovely to chat with and looking forward to taking a workshop in the future! I went away with a super cute flower dress and some little embroidery gifts - lovely and unique gifts!

This store was exactly what I needed for my creative outlet plus the super friendly staff helped answer any questions I had about my upcoming project. I definitely recommend this store to anyone who loves to be creative or is looking for a one of a kind gift.

Tiny shop of creative, unique and beautiful things. Went during a pop up event and it was full of people and items created by local artists. This place is great and they have houseplants too.
