I hesitate to promote this place, something about maintaining this coveted hole in the wall sanctuary as a best kept secret. Id challenge you to find a better coffee shop in all of the state. The owners have nailed the recipes, the ambiance, and the experience all while utilizing local vendors and relationships. Youll find me here, frequently, confused as to why anyone would go anywhere else.

Beautiful and cozy atmosphere with excellent coffee and grub. The coffee is roasted just right. Try the Lavendar Cappuccino, I will definitely be coming back for it. Staff are friendly and polite. Also, he sure to check out the locally made art and crafts in their shop - they contribute to artists and cancer patients! Support local!

BETTER THAN STARBUCKS. Gota latte just to my liking. Excellent flavor and just the right amount of foam. Staff are VERY friendly and the ambiance is awesome. Quiet and lots of books and crannies to tuck away into. Bakery items are made in shop (except bagels and croissants). This is a ma and pa type shop bathe kind you want to keep around. So go, get yourself a coffee or chai or hot chocolate. You won’t regret it.

These guys are the best. They happily make your custom coffee exactly how you want it, and the homemade pastries are awesome. Good tea selection and other goodies too. But the best part is the quality of the coffee itself, roasted in Longmont by Marks Coffee, its the best Ive had, and I lived in Seattle for years. The absolute highest compliment I can give them is that their decaf (which unfortunately I have to drink right now) tastes, looks and feels like the highest quality real caffeinated coffee!!!

Great coffee shop in a historic building. Very friendly owners. Fun, unique atmosphere inside and outdoor seating available, too. Excellent coffee and small delicious breakfast items prepared fresh. Decadent brownies were enjoyed later for a treat on our hike. Highly recommend!

We stopped in for the first time and Im bummed Ive waited so long to go in!Great coffee and DELICIOUS breakfast sandwich and pastry! We got a veggie egg croissant sandwich and a chocolate croissant.The folks were super friendly and the decor was really colorful and relaxed.They have more than once entrance and are stroller accessible. They are following social distancing and mask guidelines and offer masks and hand sanitizer!

Java Stop is fabulous! Located in a historic building at the edge of downtown Longmont, the owners and staff are friendly, the food is delicious, and the coffee drinks are fantastic!

My first time here, it was an amazing experience. So much to look at, an amazing choice of baked goodies and a menu that made me want one of everything. Service was great and the gentleman working was so personable and professional. Definitely making my go to coffee shop stop.

I went here the day I got home from my mothers funeral, the beautiful lady behind the counter could tell I was down and she literally stopped what she was doing and walked around the counter and gave me most needed hug I have had. People like this and places like this are 1 in a million. Please they are local and they are what people should strive to achieve both in their business and personal life ventures.

Stopped in while my car was in the shop. Asked for a recommendation and the man behind the counter suggested a German something or other with coconut. Was only 5 bucks for a large cup and I was in heaven. Presented in a quaint house cup and the flavor blend blew my mind. Vibe was nice and the place is welcoming. Will stop in again soon.

Warm, quirky, cozy, and quality: Everything an independent coffee shop should be! The staff are friendly and kind. There are a variety of tables, chairs and couches for varying levels of comfort and space, and nooks to hide out in. The venue is family friendly - I see kids here a lot on weekends - but on weekdays its quiet and a good place to work on a laptop, or read a newspaper or book. The coffee is high quality and a variety of locally roasted and good commercial beans. They have a nice selection of teas and other drinks. They serve a good selection of daily baked goods and also have sandwiches. Overall, a lovely place!

3 star rating due to over extracted espresso. Was very very bitter. Also ordered an oat milk cortado. Instead i was given an oversteamed cappuccino. The up charge for oat milk was a bit excessive as well. Neat surroundings in the shop. Cool yall have your kids working there as well.

I have been going here on and off for as long as I can remember... The atmosphere is fantastic and we always have a great conversation with whoever is behind the counter. I learned today that this spot has been here for many years. I’ve never been. However I’ll be back and it is replacing my current coffee spot! The americano I had was perfect. Great temperature and a nice robust taste. The environment is cozy and inviting. It’s also kid friendly. I have a two year old and an infant. My two year old happily played, I sat on a comfy couch and drank a hot beverage. (If you’re a parent and you are reading this, you understand how rare that is) this is my new favorite hang out! The pumpkin bread I had was also delicious. The staff was friendly, I felt like I was sitting in her living room, very warm and inviting. Love it!

Ill drive far out of my way to visit this lovely coffee shop! They are the kindest folks, make the best homemade bread, have wonderful books to browse, a comfortable atmosphere. The best part for me is that I feel welcome!

My cousin and aunt brought me here for a light breakfast. What wonderful proprietors, a what a great place! They specialize in great coffee and home-cooked pastries; only the bagels they sell are made elsewhere. Breakfast was delicious, and one of their espresso-nut-chocolate-chip cookies helped keep me awake the next day as I drove home. (I live a *long* ways away.) Hope I get to come back sometime soon.

Love the place, that is where I go for daily coffee breaks. I am owner of a small engineering firm across the street and loyal customer to the Java, since 2010. Place is nice, guests are very interesting people, but the owners are real gem: friendly, great sense for humor, I love chatting and quarreling with them.A month ago, I have refused to move my company to south Longmont, primarily because it would be to far from Java Stop.

Really great atmosphere, VERY fresh food, knowledgeable and friendly and kind staff. Felt like home, only I didnt have to make the coffee or do the dishes afterwards. I think its my new place when I want to sit and have a relaxing cup of coffee. Ill be back for sure!!
