We had a SUPER old dirty/smelly/gross rug that we inherited. It had been used by the dogs as a potty spot, folded over and had crease that started to crack. Was hard as a rock. We thought we had to say good bye to it and send it to the dump. But after working with Imperial Rug Cleaning they said they could save it!! They did!!! It again has COLOR, does not smell, and the memories of it will live on!! They are awesome!!

We have two sheep pelt rugs which are amazing and comfy cozy on top of wood floors. The one in our living room was getting pretty beat down and dirty from a couple years of use despite our best attempts to keep it brushed and blown out. It also had some areas where the pelts meet that we’re looking like it was ruined. I didn’t have much hope when I dropped it off other than just coming back clean. I will say they far exceeded my expectations and it looks nearly new! If I had t waited so long maybe the damage at the pelt seems would have never happened. Thanks for the excellent work! They also had excellent turn around time, way faster than expected.

They called with other decisions I had to make when they called about some other considerations about cleaning I had to make. I was pleased they called before the work was completed. Very happy with the results and fits great on our new floor.

I bought the rug posted while living in India 10 years ago. Over the years, the rug had collected a lot of dirt and some of the tassels had frayed. When I picked up the rug from Imperial, I almost didnt recognize it. The colors were vivid and quite honestly, it looked better than new, if that is possible. Dave seems very dedicated to his craft and to his community. Dave also will tell you if a rug is not worth cleaning. Highly recommend this company.

Weve used Imperial twice. First, we had purchased a wool rug at a furniture store and discovered a small cut on it after a few weeks. They made a repair and gave us great advice about caring for the rug. Fast forward a few years later...I took it in for a routine cleaning - and to check it for pet surprises in case we missed something. They called before doing the clean to let us know they hadnt found anything tough to remove. Just picked up the rug and it looks great! Really friendly business owners who know what they are doing. Our experience could not have been better. We live in the mountains and the rug take a real beating.The rugs are old tribals and were in need of repair. The repairs were excellent, and the colors came back to life. We were delighted.

Just a warning that the man that owns this shop is very mean and unkind. my car happened to break down in front of his shop, 30 minutes before they closed and he came out, without a mask, tried to open my car door and get closer to talk to me and told me I had to leave because I was parked in his only spot. when I explained my situation (in tears) and that a tow was on the way, he said “nice” and walked away. he then came out once more when help arrived and asked me again when I would be leaving. really disappointed with his negative vibe and lack of basic empathy.

Just had my rug cleaned by Imperial Rug Cleaning. It is a rug that has literally never been cleaned once, that I purchased 18 years ago. It is a wool rug that I purchased in Nepal. It has a lot of sentimental value to me. Its condition began to concern me. I saw the sign for Imperial Rug Cleaning and decided to give them a try. I figured what could it hurt at this point. The rug didnt appear to me that it could be cleaned, in its entirety. When I got to the store, they came out, assessed the rug, got me all set up and told me that this rug would look beautiful after a good cleaning. They told me about the process and said they would call in about two weeks when it was done. About a week later I got a call the rug was done. When I got it home and rolled it out I was absolutely astonished. They did a superb job. The rug looked brand new. The degree to which the rug got cleaned was far far beyond my expectations. I really couldnt believe it. It smelled fresh, felt fresh and clean. Some of the wear problems and such had all but vanished, spots of spilled oil that dotted the rugged were gone. Just a superb job. My rug has new life and is again a warm addition to the home. Thank you so much for the outstanding professional clean job performed on my rug. I will be back and would suggest this service to anyone needing rug cleaning services.

Imperial did a great job of cleaning our rugs several years ago, so when we recently needed repairs on some old family rugs, we took the rugs here. They did an excellent restoration on all three of the rugs we brought them; you cannot tell they were ever damaged. One was severely damaged around the edges, and we had to reduce the length, but unless you knew this, you would not be able to tell. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and professional.

I have several rugs cleaned over the years and they came out great. they even repaired one and you could not tell that it was falling apart.

This establishment is extremely rude and unprofessional. My encounter with the employees and staff at this cleaning service was horrible. They were unnecessarily aggressive after I tried to ask them several questions. I do not recommend going to this place. I would rather throw my rugs away then pay these people to clean them.

I had Imperial clean 2 area rugs that are definitely used often. The rugs looked brand new when I picked them up. Imperial was very helpful in providing information about my rugs and how to identify quality rugs when a replacement should be needed (the ones I have are not heirlooms but ones I picked up because I liked the print and colors). I would highly recommend Imperial especially if you have high quality or heirloom rugs.

Imperial rug did a fantastic job fixing my rare one of kind Afghan rug after I accidentally sucked part of it up my vacuum cleaner! They were fast and affordable. I would definitely use them in the future for any repairs or cleaning.

Dave Gerke and staff are great people, friendly, professional and reliable. I had a rug cut to size with new binding of the raw edges. Dave outlined the procedure, gave me options and explained carpet backing and binding to me. It fit perfectly in the space, looked like it had just come from the manufacturer and was very affordable. I was so very happy with Imperial Rug Cleaning! They cleaned a huge Persian rug that had been soiled terribly by dogs over ten years. They also re-bound one of the edges and corners of the rug and it looks perfect. I am so grateful that this rug was restored to excellent condition with no remaining dog odor. Super happy!!

The folks at Imperial not only do a great job, but demonstrate honesty and integrity. They told me they would check for pet urine under black light. They found very little evidence of it and, therefore, didnt charge me extra. I wouldnt have known the difference. My rug looks fresh and clean. Ill definitely use them again.

We had a 10 x 14 oriental rug that we bought from a Craigslist post cleaned by Imperial a few months ago. They took plenty of time to explain the process. The price was right and we were delighted with the results. The colors in the rug are ever so much brighter than when we brought it in.

We have an antique rug that belonged to one of my husbands late relatives. It came to us with a corner ripped and looked faded, and it was full of dust and cat hair. When it comes to getting your rug cleaned, Imperial Rug Cleaning in Longmont is the BEST! We have a sheepskin rug that had a couple of pet stains that I thought would not come out, but Imperial Rug Cleaning got the stains out. Whats more, the stains havent resurfaced and the rug has been creamy white ever since its been cleaned.
