Absolutely great place. A friend recommended this place and Im glad I went. They were all great but Jim was the best! He made sure I was happy with my choice and made sure I got the best deal possible. Now I have a great car that Im ecstatic with and that will take me on new adventures. Although I didn’t end up buying the vehicle I came to inquire about, I did find their customer service to be 5 stars. I had left my license there and I live 45-60 minutes south in Denver depending on traffic and they were able to mail it to me certified. I will definitely remember them when I do make that next vehicle purchase. Thanks!

If I could give this place zero stars I would. Bought a car and it ran fine for a month and then found out four fuel injectors were cracked. Which could be an oversight, but three days later, a serious oil leak began to drip onto the floor. Saw a personal machanic I trust completely, and was informed that the leak had been there for a long time and that the dealership just cleaned the engine really well. If you do go here, have your own macanic take a good look at the engine and what you could be buying from this company. As you can tell from the pictures the oil is thick and dirty (meaning it has been there a long time) and the other picture shows how clean around the area was, but on the inside it was a complete mess.

Stopped here last week just as I was driving by. Jim, the salesman, let me actually walk around and check out the selection before coming up to me.. which I appreciated. There was no unnecessary pressure to buy a car or even take one for a test drive. Jims selling technique was perfect for what I was looking for. He was very helpful the entire time and took the extra time to answer questions and work with me even after telling him I dont have the best of credit. They financed me in house at a very reasonable rate because the service manager, Ray, was willing to give me a chance. Im forever thankful for an outfit like this. Giving me another shot at financing was something I didnt even think possible at this time. They really operate as a team because they had another employee Glen step in to assist the paperwork process which made everything work out smoothly in the end. All 3 of them are great guys and NOT out to break peoples Bank in order to get a vehicle. Highly recommend this company. 5/5 Stars.

Happy and confident in my purchase after having a horrible sales experience with my first car with a different dealership years ago, everything was upfront no pushy sales and my total bill was explained to me! No extra cost or fees were hidden just car price, a warranty That would cover mechanical issues for x amount of miles and of course taxes! Over all I had a great experience.

My husband and I bought our second car here from Jim again because the first car we bought has been absolutely great, no issues, and we got a really good deal on it. Today we bought a Honda Pilot and once again we had amazing customer service from everyone there especially Jim and the owner. They are so appreciative of our business and go out of their way to serve us. Again we got another great car that is running great and is really showing you can trust this reputable car dealer. My husband and are already planning on coming back in a few months to get him a work truck. It just a great place to buy a car.

Shady. Sold me a car that had been rolled and totalled by previous owner. The would not disclose and waited until the last minute to show me a Carfax which they would not show me all the pages. My fault for trusting them. Also used a local mechanic to inspect the vehicle. He disclosed nothing of all the problems it had. Amazingly he was the guy right around the corner from this place.

LOVE this place. It was our first time buying a car, and we were very concerned about having some debt and a lower credit score. Not only are they awesome people in general, but they were able to work with us to get the car we wanted. They made it seem easy. This is my first dealership experience and I have to say that everyone here was simply amazing! Kind, answered all questions we had and worked with us to get everything pushed through as quickly and as efficiently as possible. My daughter bought a 2006 Suzuki Grand Vitara. She had saved her money up and needed a different car to get back and forth to school and work. Car was super clean. Made offer and she was out the door with a nice car. No messing around. Car still runs great. My daughter loves it and as her mom my minds at ease because she has a safe reliable car to drive. The reviews are decent because they are sure to encourage strong online reviews. A common phenomena in an age where everyone googles everything. But it is a buy-as-is used car dealership like any other. Get enough quick fixes on the thing to make it off the lot, then it’s your problem.Expect any issues you raise to be downplayed immediately, and expect to get quoted values for “excellent condition”, even when it is more than clear it is not.I would always recommend getting it checked out by an independent mechanic. It’s worth the cost. In an attempt to dissuade this, you can bet there will be flattery of your ability to judge quality. And of course, never bite on the old “well somebody just called and they will being coming in today” routine. If that is the case, they would hold it, as they have explained in this review thread.A group trying to separate themselves from the pack, but ultimately keeping 90% of the ethically questionable tactics of a used car salesman. The reputation exists for a reason.

I have to modify my review for this place.Originally, I gave them a five star review despite the problems I faced.I purchased a 1998 Chevy Blazer from this place.When I got it home, I made every effort to treat it right as used cars frequently have problems.In the first week, I replaced a ball joint, the intake manifold gaskets and the fuel injectors.Then the engine blew up. Sweet.Ray - the former manager, was super helpful and located an engine for me. He had it installed and I was back on the road. Other reviewers had this experience with him - he wanted customers to be happy with their purchase.Well, the problems kept coming. As another reviewer said, Ive bought the vehicle twice with the amount of work Ive put into it.It needs another round of labor intensive repair work to it - so I called Moxie again, hoping Ray could help me out. I was informed that Ray Doesnt work there anymore, almost the entire staff has changed, and the new guy doesnt really want to talk to me (said I would get a call back then I never did).I guess this is the used car experience you can expect. Ive put barely 2,000 miles on this truck and the problems are far from over. This place used to have a staff that would help you out with things like that, I guess not anymore.

Cars look great and appear to be a great deal. Unfortunately, dealership covered up mechanical issues with the powertrain, then failed to make good on their warranty when check engine light came on 2 weeks after purchase. Issues with vehicles breaks as well, even though we were assured everything was fine. Dont shop here!!

To start they are extremely nice up front, until you drive said used car that you just bought off there lot, then they act like they dont now you!. They told us we had a 60 day warranty, only thing they fixed was emergency flasher button, since then we have lost head lights, heater, core, and now fuel problems and its broke down in front of our house and never returned our phone calls, they would sell there own mothers to make a buck. They are liars. Never buy anything from here, we were with out a car since 2010 we bought this car before Christmas and now back where we started and have no idea what we are going to do thanks a lot. I dont want to give you a star but half to.

They cant hold up there end of the deal and sold me a very unreliable car after all. If I could leave no stars I would! I’m very displeased with their ability to contact me back and to get ISSUES fixed! Check engine light keeps coming on and off in the vehicle I just bought from them a month ago, there is a hole in muffler that was not addressed when purchased. I took it in and they said they can’t find any codes, which clearly there is. They keep telling me they will call me back to address the issue and they don’t. I have gotten the run around from them since I bought this Vehicle. Very unhappy, will never purchase another vehicle from them and don’t recommend them!

I purchased an inexpensive used vehicle a while back that admittedly had some issues. however, once i established open communication with ray, he made every effort to rectify the situation and make sure that we were happy. in frustration i did initially behave in an uncouth manner which i do feel the need to publicly apologize for. i have been humbled by the diplomacy and accommodating nature with which the situation was handled by ray and moxie motors as a whole. we were given several options as far as making the situation right. i do highly recommend this dealership to others. older model vehicles are prone to problems that can fall between the cracks and the fact that this was actually handled stands out. the issue was handled with much more professionalism by ray than i ever could have managed. i extend my gratitude to all of the staff at moxie that my wife and i dealt with — again, i recommend moxie motors and i appreciate all of the help they have given us. thanks, ray.

I really appreciated their kindness when I was there. However, I’ve had my car for less than a year, and so far I need new tires, brakes, water-pump, have a million leaks and other things. It’s just frustrating because it’s $2,000 worth of repairs on a car I’ve had less than a year.

LOVE my 06 jeep grand Cherokee I bought from the guys at Moxie. Im so glad I came back to these guys. I was strict and wanted to look at all cars on my list and not settle. After checking out all of the other car lots around town, I came back for this once because they worked so hard to make me happy and get me a great car, and asked What could they do to earn my business?. How many dealerships do that? The customer service was excellent, great car and they made the buying process easy. Its usually something I dread because of how the car business can be but not these guys! I cant recommend highly enough.

My boyfriend and I came in about a week ago to look at a 2001 Jeep Cherokee Laredo for me to replace the one a guy totaled a month ago and i didnt like the one we went to look at but fell in love with a red 2000 Jeep Cherokee Sport (xj) 😍 a couple cars down and Glen worked with us for 2 days to make sure she was the one he let us take her off the lot to a friend who flips xjs and made sure she was in perfect condition once we realized she was more than perfect we came back and Glen worked with me on a price and payment option that worked the best for me and I was able to drive my dream car of the lot permanently the same day! My daughter is in college away from home and has no knowledge for car shopping. After an accident, she had to shop for a car and had no one who could help her shop. So, I did my best over the phone to try to help. She traveled by bus from Ft Collins to Moxie to look at a car they had posted for sale. By the time she arrived the car had sold. The salesman showed her a similar car and she liked it, so she called me to talk to the salesman. He promised he would make sure she wasnt taken advantage of because he had daughters and understood my concerns. We negotiated and they were supposed to put four new tires on the car. We accepted the car understanding we would need to replace the broken windshield. After they changed the tires, my daughter drove her new car home. While driving, a hub caps flew off on the highway. Not an expensive replacement. However...My daughter got her used car to an auto repair shop for inspection. Because of the weekend and weather, it was the fourth day after purchase. Here is the list of problems: .One new tire needed immediately; one side view mirror was broken and falling off; engine oil leaking, needs new shocks and struts; and in serious need of routine maintenance, tune up, all fluids and filters changed, and an oil change.I am not whining about some of those issues as certain issues are expected when buying a used cars. But, this adventure turned out to cost us over $2000 in repairs to make the car road worthy and safe for my daughter.

These guys are great! They were extremely reasonable with me when i had an emergency come up and had to re schedule my final payment. I was worried i might get scammed or have to argue with them to help me out but this was easily the best car transaction ive ever had. Il be back to get another car this winter!!! It was great for almost one month,until the automatic transmission completely failed. I can almost understand this when buying a used vehicle, however it was what the mechanic found that was disappointing. This problem was covered up with a quick fluid change with a much heavier weight transmission fluid to correct the problem long enough to sell it.When I asked the owner ( Ray)if he had a suggested repair shop I was given a couple of leads but definitely did not receive any discount on service.Over $4500.00 in repairs on an $9000.00 vehicle within 30 days of purchase.Moxie seemed to be a step above other used car dealerships,but they are just like all of the others....

I bought a Prius from them this past week and I loved my expierence there! Glen is the one who sold me the car and he was very helpful. They gave me a very good deal on the car. It was way less than it blue booked for and the negotiated with me. The owner actually came out and talked with us and met with us which is unusual in my experience of buying cars. I love the car as well it was very clean and it runs great!

Said they will work with poor credit.Wouldnt even look at my bank statements or paycheck stubs after they ran my credit.Clearly a lie.Edit: at least they communicated after the fact and explained the factors that went into it.Instead of just leaving it at we dont want your truck for trade in, can your girlfriend cosign? like at the lot.I have paycheck stubs and bank statements, my girlfriend has lived at our place the same amount of time and her job is even more recent, would her cosigning even help?If not Im sure there are a lot of dealerships that will be happy to service our combined $80k/yr. Its not a lot but it should be enough to drive a safe car...

Engine went out in a month, never got a call back from them.Well let me start off by saying I had a great buying experience. Luis was great I loved the Jeep. However, a month later the motor went out. I reached out to them, talked to Luis and he said he would talk to his higher up. Never got a call back. So I paid all $6600 to swap out the engine by myself. No way to take care of your customers.

Wrote a previous review after I had recently purchased my vehicle! Had multiple issues. Check engine light on and off since I bought it in April. The AC wasn’t working. And they replaced the compressor but I had to take it in again because it wasn’t cool still and now come to find out it has a freon leak... also the check engine light is back on. And it’s just one problem after another! Will NEVER Go here again and wish I never bought this lemon from them! Salesmen don’t care about anything but making money.

We had a great experience with this dealer. From the first phone call to inquire about a car, they were very friendly, never pushy or salesy (its a word haha). When we went in to see the car our salesman Walt and the owner Ray were very friendly and helpful. They genuinely wanted us to have a good experience. We had a minor issue with the car after we had it for a month and they were very willing to work with us. It ended up being a minor issue with the radio draining power from the battery. Anyhow, I highly recommend them. Weve had the car for about 5 months and unfortunately yesterday we were in a bad accident, rear ended! Theres a good chance the car is totalled and if it is we will be looking first at Moxie for a replacement!

They originally priced the car higher than what the retail value was, I tried to make an offer, they said no. Two days later price dropped $600 to a fair price, do they call? Nope...they ended up selling it to someone else...They actually admitted to lowering the price based on my call to inquire why the car was priced so high...Edit: The lies in the response, tell me everything I need to know about this company. My offer of $2,500 was made based on the KBB value, before knowing they use NADA and made before the price dropped, which was done in reaction to my phone call. I was asked if I wanted to test drive it and I said Not at that price ($3,900) I did in fact call again today 6/7/17 and said I was driving in from Fort Collins. I called (720) 694-6226 at 2:29 PM, I guess I spoke to a ghost. Lowered rating to one star.

I wish there was a way to do a no star rating because this is the worst dealership in Longmont. They screwed me over big time by hiding things from me that the bank later on told me about so I had to return the car. I was happy with everything till they ruined it by not being up front and honest about my loan. I don’t recommend this place at all

We had a wonderful experience at Moxie Motors! We bought an 03 VW Jetta. We had our 2 dogs with us when we went looking at their vehicles. They offered to get our pups some water while we took our test drive and even let them come into the office with us while we signed all the paperwork! Their customer service was amazing and they make you feel like you are their top priority when you are there, not just another sale! Shortly after we purchased our vehicle from Moxie, the check engine light came on. We called Ray to let him know and they got right on it and fixed it for us! The overall experience and atmosphere was amazing! They have quite the inventory to chose from too! Thank you Ray!!! We love our new wheels!

Be aware that these individuals WILL sell you a close to totalled vehicle. Be very careful with this business and have a 3rd party check out your car before you pay them a dime...

Horrible, DO NOT GO HERE bought a 7,000 dollar car and there was a crack in the transfer case thats going to cost me over 4,000 dollars to fix (although they claimed it was in perfect condition). Ive had the car for less then a month. And thats just the beginning, the owner is horribly rude and they wont do anything about it.

I just got a Mazda MX-6, my first car, Ray (the nice guy) and Glenn (another nice guy) helped me in the process. Although I dont understand anything about cars, however, Ray is helping me to make sure the car is in good condictions.Thanks.I told once there were cool, I was wrong. The are SUPER COOL. Louis was my sales man, he was super easy to work with, gave me a great deal on the truck I wanted as well as my trade in, process took about 30min definitely would recommend for any looking for a good used vehicle.

If I could give it no stars or negative I would. My daughter was buying a car met much money 2500. It took the sales men 30 minutes to talk to her. Was rude and short with her when she told him how much she had. Worst place for used cars if your a first time buyer.

My husband and I came here yesterday looking to buy a family van. Jim helped us out with all our needs and found us the perfect fit for our family. In fact, we were so pleased with our car buying experience we drove back today and bought a second vehicle, Jeep Grand Cherokee! We went to a few car dealerships and my son found the car he wanted. It was the right color, make, and motor. Louis @ MMotors was very, very helpful. He agreed to let us take the car and get it checked out @ our mechanic we always use in Berthoud. The car checked out good w/just a couple needed fixes now, but mostly the car was clean except for some maintenance which was standard.Louis was professional, courteous, polite, patient and honest. I would go back to Moxie Motors anytime to buy another vehicle. Especially buying a used vehicle is nerve wracking and Moxie Motors took the stress out of the car buying experience. I like how Moxies website has detailed info and carfax reports on all cars. I didnt realize that at first. The carfax reports and pics on their site were super helpful when I did. Make sure to check out all that info. Moxie and probably all dealers leave it to you to really vet the car.I didnt realize the process for buying an as-is car from a dealer, so I had a bit of a learning curve. Its kind of the Wild West in general and Ray and Luis made the whole process easier and were patient while I learned. They always were positive and willing to work with me. They make it easy to buy a car (just be sure you know what youre getting!)

What a great change of pace for a car dealer.

Stopped by to check out a 2012 Mitsubishi Lancer (red). Seemed Legit. Sales person was very nice. We figured we would see some minor imperfections, being a used vehicle. Of course, warn tires, dents, scratches, dings etc. However, we were not expecting something that appeared like someones blood splatter in the back seat and on the roof of the car. We wont even mention the smell. Even if it wasnt someones blood and lets say something else, Why would a dealership leave a vehicle in that poor of condition? Especially, when your selling it for 9,000.00. There is absolutely NO excuse for this. I felt so disgusted after I left this place.
