I really wanted to buy a car from a smaller shop, and from someone who seemed authentic and no bs. I test drove a few cars on his lot, and came back the next day to buy one. Donnie helped with the loan process and made all of the paperwork painless for me.

Just bought a used car from Donnie at Longmont Auto Brokers. He was very friendly and down to earth and made the car search and purchase process smooth and enjoyable. They have a fairly small inventory, but all of the vehicles were in good condition with relatively low miles. Prices on everything were very reasonable. I would not hesitate to refer anyone in the market for a good used vehicle to give Longmont Auto Brokers a look.

Hey Joe Brettman, I bought the car you wanted, its a used car, at a used car lot. If you dont know well enough to do your own PPI then you should be buying new at a stealership. Donnie at Longmont Auto Brokers is a straight shooter, hes honest and of good character, I can attest as I had inquired about his car several times over the last week and this morning he informed me that there was a customer test driving it. He asked for my number and extended the courtesy of a phone call to let me know whether the vehicle had been purchased or not. Joe left the lot without buying the vehicle, Donnie called me, I looked it over, test drove and purchased the blue 2002 is300 Lexus. I then proceeded to put 120 care free miles on it following a passed emissions test. Seemed like a good guy at first (Donnie). The car he was selling me was a Lexus IS300 2002, and the exterior was in great condition. He claimed nothing was wrong with the car and that he fixed nothing due to that fact from when it was traded in. Lemme tell ya, getting it inspected was the best money I’ve ever spent... front bumper was actually held up by a SHOELACE... the engine leaked from the valve cover (no big deal) but also leaked from the bottom oil pan, the crank seal, and even had oil spewing from the rear of the engine. The rear right brakes were held into place by a metal bent wire... the car itself was basically falling apart. I just hate to see people putting out garbage like this onto consumers who unknowingly would buy it due to their lack of knowledge. It’s a real shame people do this but buyer beware for this place, better bring any car in to get inspected before handing over the money. Again, maybe Donnie is a good guy who sells good cars, but in my case he tried selling me shiny painted trash with a red ribbon attached to it. Again, buyer beware. Frontline auto next door seemed much more welcoming and upfront about issues.

Review update. I was going to buy a Mercedes C300 but I declined the sale because I told the salesman it felt slow and extremely underpowered and that it didn’t feel right. Mercedes is what I wanted and they wanted to show me a BMW . Today I purchased a c300 elsewhere because this sales man at another dealership explained to me how to change driving modes. Easy as that I didn’t know it had drive modes, to be honest I would have purchased it back then with you guys. Just thought I would let you know.

Buying a car here is easy and stress free. We where never pressured and were only shown cars in our price range. We will definitely be coming back the next time we are looking for a used car.

Purchased a 2000 Toyota Avalon about 2 years ago. The car was in pristine condition for its age and drove like a dream. The only thing Ive had to replace or fix was the alternator about 3 months ago which is a normal wear and tear item on a car. I was very pleased with my experience. Offered a price, we worked out the deal and drove the car home. No haggling, stupid games that larger dealerships play, etc. Car still drives great and has been very reliable. Would certainly buy from them again. I see some people complaining about things that broke on their cars after they purchased it. Even the most meticulously inspected used car with a mechanics approval can break down afters its purchased. Heck even brand new cars can break down. Some problems just cant be detected, and cars break down. Anyway, it was a good transaction for me and would certainly do business again in the future when the time comes.

This place is a joke, went to look at a car, we were told there was an issue with said car. When asked if it would be fixed we were told the price would go up if he did. Then when we went to test drive and they got something to jump the battery. Guess what if you want a battery that will literally even start the car the price goes up! Great way to run a bussiness! Oh you want tires? The price will go up!

Poor service highly dont recommend cars are No good at all dont waste your money or time would rather go anywhere else, sales men just looking for a fast easy pay check dont care about people or getting them into reliable cars WARNING! Do not waste money or time!

Just bought a vehicle from them and it was the best car buying experience that I have ever had. They priced the truck at what it was really worth minus cosmetic stuff rather than asking blue book and having me fight for a discount for the cosmetic stuff. They were not pushy, they had a carfax report, told me that I could take it to a mechanic and have it looked at and most importantly acted like real people not vultures!!

The last time I bought a car was off of craigslist in my early 20s but I felt like I was ready to upgrade. I went in feeling nervous about making such a huge purchase and left feeling comfortable and over the moon about my new car. Donnie was really helpful and patient with me. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to buy their first newer car.

I thought I had found the perfect car here because it was reasonably priced, low mileage, clean carfax, and decent reviews online. Then when I drove from Wyoming to test drive it and take it in for a pre-purchase mechanic check, it became apparent that the car was very much less than perfect. Not only did it need a new timing belt, but it also needed a new head gasket. Plus an undisclosed accident that was not on the carfax that the mechanic had found evidence of repairs for.Donnie had the car listed for $6000 when the car, even in perfect shape, would only have been worth $4700. When I showed him the mechanics report, he said that the head gasket didnt actually need replacing (even though he said he himself doesnt do head gaskets) and that the lowest he could go was $4800 after the mechanic said he wouldnt have paid over $1500 for the vehicle because of all the work that needed to be done immediately.All in all, if you think you have found the perfect car, make sure you take it to a mechanic for a pre-purchase inspection so you dont end up paying almost double the cars worth in repairs.

I bought 2003 Subaru Forester from this dealer shop. Bob lie to me when he sale this car for me. This car had radiator and head gasket problem. When I found those problems and call him, he promised to call me back after research. But he did not call me back. Recommend: if you want to buy the car from him, do mechanic first.

I bought my vehicle from Longmont Autobrokers 6 weeks ago. When I was in there I asked Bob if he would offer me a warranty and he replied there is no warranty with this vehicle, he let me know he wasnt concerned and if anything happens bring the vehicle in and I will repair it for you. I took his word for it (obviously I should not have), and here I am 6 weeks later unable to drive my vehicle because there is a leak in one of the brake hoses and the brakes arent working. I called Bob and let him know my problem, and when I had bought the vehicle. He told me I dont fix vehicles I sold 3-4 months ago, I said Ive only owned the vehicle for 6 weeks, we still have the paper plate on the vehicle. Bob stated that since its not a mechanical issue we wont fix it. So now after only owning the vehicle for 6 weeks and putting roughly 1,000 miles on it, Bob is going back on his word and I have to replace the brakes on my own. I have to get the vehicle towed to a shop and pay for the repairs. Thankfully my 2 year old son wasnt in the vehicle when the brakes went. I would not reccommend anyone doing business with Longmont Autobrokers as they are obviously not men of their word. Once Bob sees this negative review he will make a comment to try and redeem himself as he has with negative reviews posted in the past, but what Ive stated above is 100% true. Ive now leanred from this and a past experience to NEVER trust a used car salesman.I wanted to follow up on my review from the other day, looks like Bob sold us a vehicle that in fact could have cost us our lives! As previously stated we bought our vehicle from Bob 6 weeks ago and the brakes went this past Sunday. After talking to my mechanic he let me know this vehicle should have never been sold to us with the brakes in the condition they were in. He stated that all 4 lines could fail at any time, and that the brake pads are worn out way below the legal threshold. In all the total estimated repairs are $1200! I told our mechanic we bought the vehicle 6 weeks ago and we have drove it roghly 1,000 miles. The mechanics exact words were I dont know how this guy got away with selling you a vehicle with brakes in the condition they are in, there is no way in the time youve owned the vehilce that they could have been damaged this severely. Also as previously stated I have a 2 year old who fortunately wasnt in the vehicle when the brakes gave out, but he very well could have been. Furthermore my wife and I had our son with us when we bought the vehicle, and Bob sold us the vehicle with dangerous brakes anyway. I would not recommend doing business with Bob as all he seems to care about is $$$$ and clearly does not care for the well being of his customers, or their families.
