Hungry for a GOOD corned beef sandwich. Went to YBF and got the BEST C B sandwich. Hubby got 8” turkey sub. Sandwiches were so big, both of us could only eat half. Second half was great the next day. Definitely will be going back.

I’ve been there before for their meats, and it’s good stuff. The sandwiches are pretty good too. I got the Italian, and it was loaded with meat. I actually took it home and threw it in the microwave and I liked it better than the cold way they serve it. Store is a little dirty.

Stopped by on Saturday, recommended by a sales guy at Camping World as a good place for lunch . The deli sandwich was absolutely amazing. The bread was so fresh and tasty, piles of fresh high quality meats and cheeses . I ordered the Franks Italian and it truly was the best sandwich I have had in a long time. The service was speedy, but while we were waiting we witnessed how they treated every customer like family . It was awesome to see such great customer service, even the little things like carrying the food out for a lady who had kids with her, to helping first timers figure out how to order, and the patience they had with every customer. I live 300 miles from here, but when business brings me back I will always come here again. Really a fantastic place to do business with!!.

The best sandwich in town, in the best butcher shop in town.

I’m so disappointed. I went in here because someone said they have grass fed meat. They don’t. I asked one of the employees and he said in a very dull tone that it’s all grass fed and grain finished -_- that’s a line I’ve been getting fed when people don’t want to say know to my question. So fine, I needed oxtail, grabbed it from the freezer where it was completely wrapped, couldn’t see it, purchased it from the employee with the cold demeanor. Well I get home, open it, and it’s more fat than meat. I’ve bought oxtail a ton of times from many different places and it never has very much far at all. This is all fat. No wonder they wrap it in the store, no one would buy this.Oh, and I couldn’t forget the discomforting look I got from another employee soon as I entered.Won’t be returning.

Ive known about this shop for a while, but today was the first time I went there. The meat in the display cases looked okay, but overall the store was pretty filthy. Grubby smudged counters, greasy scales, red stains in the bottom of the coolers, and the staff were not very friendly. Even if this roast turns out good, I wont be going back just because of how gross the shop is.

Theres not a better value on meat in town. Friendly staff, with good old-fashioned values. Not to mention their incredible sandwiches!

First time going there. All the workers were friendly. I got the 8 Italian sandwich. Had tons of meat the Italian dressing was good. Came with a pickle 🥒 Ill definitely be back.

Always a great experience when we come to the store. Good selection and love the cuts. We came on a whim to check out the freezer specials this year and I havent regretted the decision. The sandwiches from the deli even fill up my teenage son. Love it. Will be back, often.

I love this place. The steaks are amazing and the staff is super friendly. Ive ordered steaks online from some of the really high end vendors and these steaks are just as good for a fraction of the price.

Old school butcher place. Quality meat and meat products. Personalized too: I am not from the US originally, and the cuts are different in my native country, ribs in particular. But they would cut them (upon request) to my exact specifications, and remember that that is the way I like them (just like an old school butcher would do). Pricey, but worth it!

It is where you can find the finest cuts of meat in the Longmont area. If you cant see what you want in their pre-cut selections, ask them to cut it for you and they will. They have the best quality meats, and they will cut it however you want it. Theyre the best. And their meat is also the best. Check them out. And they will be your favorite meat store.

Very good sandwiches they pile on the meat. Butcher packs are a good price and fill the freezer. Never had a bad steak from them. Next time gonna tray the elk.

I grew up in NY and this is the best NY-style deli/butcher shop in town, perhaps the whole county. They carry real Taylor ham, which my NJ wife and I use to make pork roll sandwiches. Cold cuts are great and the service is top notch.

This is a decent deli to swing by and grab a sandwich if you are on the go. However, I thought the portions of deli meat they put in the sandwiches was generous, but that did not make up for the overall subpar flavor. I’d recommend grabbing a sandwich elsewhere if you are in the mood for a tasty deli sandwich.

This place is the bomb-diggity! We came by on a whim after hearing good things from my co-workers; we got a prime rib, 1 lbsof ground chuck, 2 Filets (one the size of Mikes hand) for $120 OTD.Staff was super friendly and got us taken care.of in a timely fashion. Definitely will be returning.

Ok so I’m a Jersey Girl! And I grew up going to real delis! Let me just tell you that Franks is the closest thing to a sub or hoagie that you are gonna get here! They are heavy are the meat and mayo! There barrel pickles are perfect! My mouth is watering thinking about it! There’s no other place for me hands down! And I grew up eating real food without sprouts! Great butchery, and its a deli shop with awesome subs! Was in today and found out they also sell eggnog! If you like eggnog, I suggest you drive to them and try the eggnog they sell. Delicious, thick, all the ingredients taste well proportioned, I drank 3/4 of the bottle when I got home. I also recommend the Italian sub. They really make a great sandwich, full of meats, cheese, dressings, condiments, and the roll is isnt wimpy either. And also, I called them up at noon for a 5lb bone-out prime rib and said I wanted for that day and I could be there in an hour. Said no problem, hed get to work on it now and itd be waiting for me, and then offered to put their house rub on there for free. It was waiting for me when I got there; I slow roasted it and it was pretty damn delicious. All in all, Ive been there a few times now and will continue to. Definitely my go to butcher and deli. Keep up the great work guys!!

Been living in Longmont for over 15 years and this is the first time purchasing a freezer package from them (24 lbs package). Friendly professional guys behind the counter. Quality meats and the display cases were impeccable. Able to ask for a rain check for one for the items that had not been delivered to the shop yet, but could come back later in the day for it. Showed up a few hours later, and was able to get the item that was on rain check.It reminds me of when I was a small child. My granma was a meat wrapper for a grocery chain back east, and one of our family friends was also a butcher. Brought back many fond memories of visiting my granmas work and seeing what she and her coworkers duties were. You all are a hidden gem, and I will be returning for all my butcher needs. Next time, I will have to try one of your sandwiches that I saw you all making for the lunch crowd!

This place has quality meats and great dishes, perpetually great staff, fully stocked every time, never been disappointed. Best part is the cuts, the consistency, and how you come here if you know amazing and local.

I havent been to a proper butcher since I was very young, living in Minnesota. This is the best butcher by far.Our family is on a VERY tight budget. We started going to Franks and we make every month work in our budget. We couldnt do that before at a regular grocery store, and went without. Now we never worry about it.And really, whats better than watching fresh meat get cut? At least we know where the animals come from!Thank you Franks Butcher!

I have been a loyal patron of this butcher shop for over 15 years, and as time has gone on, the shop keeps getting better and better in its offerings and overall quality of meats and deli selections. I have several times had to request some special cuts and portioning for cooking projects and I have yet to be disappointed in both the delivery and level of service.Everyone that works there is always eager to help and friendly, easily able to answer your questions or just make some recommendations based on what your meat goals are. Along with a decent selection of the mainstream cuts of beef and pork, they have a small deli section where you can get your favorite sliced meats for sandwiches or even have one made for you right there and near deli cost which is awesome. The deli sandwiches are eccentric in the amount of meat you get as its weighted, and I always usually take half the meat off just to be able to get a solid bite on the sandwich. Then with the other half of the meat I have another meal and sandwich filling.You can also find some homemade frozen pizza dough which is really good along with a freezer full of pre-cut and priced frozen meats for stocking up or camping supplies. And to top all of that off along with the sandwich making capability, there are a dozen or so sides that you can order in various volumes such as potato salads, pasta salads, egg salad, etc.Overall, for me, Your Butcher Frank is the definition of what I want to find in a local butcher shop. Anything I can want they either have, or can get in a pretty timely fashion. I have never been given expired meats or gotten anything from the deli section that wasnt at least on the upper end of fresh. If your looking for the local butcher shop, this is the place to come.

Love this place for sandwiches. You want a REAL sandwich? You come here. You get your moneys worth. They pile the meat real high, and dont skimp. This is the way a sandwich should be made! Get the 4 with soup combo, anything bigger and you wont be able to finish it! Very very good.
