I was looking for a simple tape measure. The kind that retracts with the button in the middle. Just a simple plastic tape measure. Michaels had them for $3.99. But Hobby Lobby had the same exact tape measure for 99 cents.Not good.

Their isles dont make sense. Not put together well. Staff were super friendly and knew where to point me. Went looking for uv resin and found the isle but not the item I was looking for. When I asked...I was directed to a different Isle that had nothing to do with the other Isle previous and was across the store. Great place to get crafts but they need to revamp the layout badly.

The service was great. My Michael had a broken squeedelyspooch and a inverted thinkermometer, and they got him fixed up and ready to take on the world! I suggest everyone get their Michael serviced here!

Bridjet in the custom frame department was extremely helpful. While we were shopping for a few in stock frames she started putting together ideas for a custom frame. We didnt specifically ask her to give us suggestions, she just overheard us talking about options we liked and took the initiative to put together some ideas. It was great to experience such good service.

As usual they had everything I needed - kudos for logically stocking the items so that I could locate them by myself. Great store!

The place is what you expect when it comes to prices and stock. As it is well-known, sales are always on, and the prices of items on sale are a steal. The only issue I ran into (consistently, I am sad to say, hence the 3-star review) is that the store is short-staffed, so you never find a staff member to help you or to answer a question if you have one. More than once, I left without buying because I could not find a staff member to help me locate an item, or to answer a question about an item.

Definitely could spend my whole paycheck here

Good store, good prices. Sometimes hard to find help, but today I had 2 different people ask me if I needed anything, so that was cool. Loving their farmhouse decor. Also they had this llama floaty, so they are winners in my book.

Helpful and friendly customer service. A great place to go for various arts and crafts materials. My go to for new paints, brushes and canvases. Also some pretty cute seasonal décor.

The staff are friendly and helpful. They have a great array of crafts and supplies for most hobbies. The prices are a little higher than Id prefer but not terrible. You can usually find some amazing deals if you watch the sales and clearances.

Best place in town to get artists supplies, some hobby equipment, and other things. Leaps better than Hobby Lobby, mostly because they do not always rain down religion on you, also because their quality is better with what they get.

Good selection of crafting items. We were looking for cake decorating ideas and items and there were plenty. We purchased a larger cake pan and a turntable / Lazy Susan to use when decorating cakes.

I had a complaint about customers not wearing masks in the store and running into me. A lovely manager called me to talk to me about the situation. I appreciate it very much.

Went and there was a mess of items all around the floor. Made it hard to look around.

This particular michaels is always well-stocked with almost everything arts and crafts (except for a range of fabric), and always has nice staff available at checkout. no complaints at all. seasonal decor is always nice, too.

One of the racks was busted and had metal sticking out. Scraped my arm up other than that, its your typical Michaels. Significantly cleaner than the hobby lobby in town. No Christmas decor out in September, thank goodness. The checkout tends to be slower with generally less lanes open. The cross stitch section seems to shrink every time I visit. The cashier last I was there was less than polite but normally, the cashiers are average.

The only reason I am giving this a 4 is because the last two times we have been here, they havent had everything we needed in stock. Other than that, this place is great!

I always find what Im looking for. Today Im getting something framed. Michaels is my go to place for everything I need framed.

Went into Michaels in Longmont on 10/2/20. Posted on the door was the mandatory wearing of mask to enter sign. No problem there, I had my mask covering my face and nose. Found what I needed and approached the cashier. She was NOT WEARING face covering and stood behind a plexiglass shield. I paid in cash and when she handed me my change she came around the plexiglass. Her face was within 18 inches of mine. Totally unexpected. I won’t be returning to this store due to the lack of awareness on customer service.

Please have more appropriately-sized bags available for large items. Other than that, no complaints. Love the huge selection of fabric ribbon during the Christmas season!

Did an buy online and pick up in store for convenience and to save time. Convenient and time saving it was not. Had to wait in a line of 8 people. Then the clerk had me sign for it before he handed it to me. Then had no idea where my item was. Grabbed another employee who started the whole process again and when I obviously wasnt in the system since I signed for it I had to explain the situation. She went back to look for it, came up with the wrong version that was cheaper. After trying to explain that, she left again to finally come back with the correct item. What a mess.

50% off all Christmas decorations, and the selections are great right now. Didnt want to wait till after Thanksgiving and then have limited selections.

Nice clean store with friendly employees. Great photo frame selection which is generally why we shop here.

Shelves have been empty, nothing in stock and dont know when theyll get anything. Then they refer me to order online...I would think they would want to keep business in the actual store...

Went in just to look. Left with 2 bags of items. Only frustration was the cross stitch section. It was sparce. But happy with everything else.

I was emailed my order for pickup was ready. I drove 45 minutes just to get there & went inside but the help-staff, couldnt find my order anywhere. After looking for 15 minutes, I made several suggestions, still the employee was clueless. After looking in THE SAME SPIT 4 times, she FINALLY found it. She looked under the wrong section if their alphabetical filling system... several times. And, the rest of my order wasnt even filled! Hadntgotten round to it, she said. Believe me, the 1employees there in the back-pickup area WERENT AT ALL BUSY, except sitting around talking. The cashiers are super friendly, professional, helpful, & good at their jobs. Plus they are quick.

I went there to pick up packages that were sent to me by UPS.They were diverted to Michaels because I was not home to receive the packages. The ladies at Michaels are very courteous and friendly. Thanks to the criminals these are the steps that UPS has taken so your property doesnt get ripped off. The really sad thing is that I live in an apartment complex owned by the Longmont Housing Authority. We are supposed to have Supportive Services here as we that live here are very poor and most do not have vehicles. So one would think that if there is an employee who sits here for 8hrs a day to provide Supportive Services that could include receiving packages for residents if they happen to not be here themselves.

I havent been into a Michaels in a few years or so, but nearing on Halloween soon, they had some really great decorations. I am definitely going back before they sell out of certain items. I wasnt approached by anyone that worked there, but that was fine, because I feel in stores like Michaels that I want to be left to look and explore and then if I have a question they are visible for me to ask them for help.

Its holiday season. Love looking at all the products brought out for Fall and Halloween. Only saw one worker and she was the cashier.

My family was trying to find small glass vials that we saw online to hold small amounts of ashes from the dog we had just had to put down. Im sure we were more quickly frazzled and maybe did miss something but we spent a good 30 minutes wandering around the store and asked for help twice only to be blown off both times by the employees

Michaels has just about everything for the crafter. The prices are reasonable, and it has a pretty good atmosphere. Could use more checkout people.

It seems like there are three people working at any given time or day. Finding help is impossible. You have to hunt for an associate. I WILL say that when you do find one they seem to be knowledgeable - the trick of course is actually finding someone.

Ive had an excellent experience with the framing department in general, but yesterday, I came in to have a custom mat cut. Jadyn helped me, and not only was the price to have the mat cut super reasonable, so was the price to have her mount it in the frame I picked out from the aisles. I thought she would just put it in like I would have at home, just the included backings, etc, but she went above and beyond what I expected, complete with paper backing and a wire hanger. It came out perfect, spotless, and she did it quickly. Im so impressed! Thank you so much!

This place is very clean and organized. Staff is always friendly and helpful. The 6 foot Easter bunny was kinda creepy though.

A good selection of all the arts and crafts things you might desire, and theres always an online coupon that you can use on the one thing thats at regular price. Nearly everything is on sale at some time or another, and I have to admit that I come here more often simply to avoid the other place that is far more politically conservative. I also really love their frame sales for the artwork that I hang for my art shows.

This is a nice craft store. Found some good storage baskets here that matched the nice deep brown of a shelf I wanted to store things on. The only suggestion I would have for this location is that they speed up the checkout process, because it always seems like the checkout line is very long.
