About 30 yrs ago to this date. This was my Store. Layaway for my Children Clothes. Get Summer Clothing on layaway on December and vice versa and saved a lot of money when you pickup you can change sizes. Paid $2.00 and if yours Children grew up and Clothes not fit any more they replaced. Now all this Stores almost Gone

Im saddened that this store is closing. I could always find great deals on clothes here for me and my son. The workers are very friendly, always exhibited great customer service even as the store is closing . I wish them well. They deserve respect.

Wow havent been in a kmart in over 30 years. Brought back a lot of childhood memories. This kmart was pretty clean and organize. Line wasnt to long and the wait was short. Got in and out without a hitch.

Location going out of business and items 15% to 79% off.Most clothing is 79% off and you can get things ranging from $1.25-$20.T shirts, pants, jeans, slacks, dresses.Also most toys 40% off.Still have bath products and hygiene items that are at least 15% off.Some baby products still are there and on sale.Most likely it looks like by next week they wont have too much stuff so I recommend going now.

Great store Ive always liked their clothing since its twice as better with good quality compared to Walmart. Farewell Kmart you will be forever missed

Store is closing so better hurry if you want something. Unfortunately no real sales going on now. Raised their prices to make it look like a sales price.

I really enjoyed my Kmart experience. The store was bright, clean, well-stocked, but sadly, rather empty. I wish more people would support Kmart. It was my familys go to store when I was a child in the 70s.

I went in to purchase a plastic Black and Decker shovel to aid in my construction of my sons science project, the experience in there was alright with nothing being notably wrong however it had an unnerving ambience, i left the store and went home to find out several months later that the statue of liberty was not targeted on 9/11 this was quite a shock to me as i had vividly remembered it being hit, i didnt make the link to this Kmart until i went to search for a bakugan toy set for my son and after leaving the store i found out two days later that the country of Poland was in fact separate from eastern Germany post ww2 from a documentary, i presume this location lies just outside or reality just enough to transcend dimensions hopefully i find the one where Kmart is still popular. overall 10/10 will probably shop there after Im divorced.

Sad store is closing but I found good bargains

Wow, Im having a nostalgic moment. Im 34 right now. Its funny how these reviews are of people complaining about staff. Bro I was around when they changed from Big Kmart to just Kmart. How they remodeled everything inside, the floors, every department. Many dont remember that. Back then was long lines at Kmart. I used to clean this specific Kmart overnight about 12-13 years ago. Its crazy how time has passed. And I myself never had a bad customer service at any and including this store.

A little better quality then Walmart and definitely way better employees. There employees are all actually from planet earth and not every other planet out there. Great selection and pricing of Childrens clothes and there always having great sales to. Its sad to see were loosing all our Kmarts but hopefully a few will survive.

Always looked forward to shopping at Kmart. We drove out of our way to this Kmart. Only to find the store shelves empty. Asked a worker if they were closing and her rude response if you see a sign that says were closing than we are. I just responded o thank you .She never looked at me just kept her back at me.We will never return to this Kmart again.

This store is so much better inside! Nice wide isles, everything is fronted on the shelves, friendly employees and no hordes of crowed like other similar stores. Also, often amazing deals! I drive a few miles out of my way to enjoy what this store has to offer!

I love this Kmart. Always end up with a cartload of merchandise. Cute clothes especially, and housewares and everyday household items. I prefer here over Target. I rarely go to Target. I hope this Kmart location stays here for a long time to come. They also always have a Great Christmas section. I just bought new bathroom towels sets here, for 2 bathrooms, with brighter colors than what I had. Never had a problem with service or checkout.

I went in a few days ago, and I had great customer service. The cashier, Brittney, absolutely amazing. I can tell she’s new, BUT she is doing awesome 😄

Tell your friends this place is still open! Purchased bags of surplus plastic Easter Eggs at 10 cents per bag of 10, 20 or 30!For Christmas, bought family size mens crew socks for the shelter, toys for the needy.

I came to Kmart located in Long Beach. The customer service I received by the store manager Eddie was awful. Corporate should send him a special training to gain Great customer service skills.

I LOVE Kmart. You have to be a points member and ship regularly to get the good discounts. I love the blue light specials. I love the wife open isles. I love how easy it is to find everything. I love their cute underware and bras that are actually in my size. I wish the womens shoes went up to size 12 though, that would make everything perfect! Its not as good as the Paradise, CA kmart, but this is still one of the nicer ones.

I like Kmart but the cashiers are the slowest in history. Attitudes are poor, if They want Kmart to succeed, change the customer service people. I have been around a long time and know customer service has changed a lot but KMart has gotten really bad so has Sears they need to change how they act toward there customers. Or they will die out completely.

I truly love shopping here they have great deals but 1 star because every time I have to interact with the customer service desk and mangers their attitidies are THE WORST making me an angry customer! I like this place I always find good deals, you can find something for everyone in your family here. I bought my dad a gift here and hes a big and tall kind of gentleman and they had a good selection of clothes for him here.

I dont know how this place is still open. I was here on a Saturday evening and there were about 12 to 15 cars in the whole parking lot. There is a target on the same street no more than 1 mile away and I went there first looking for bathroom stuff. It was a typical Saturday night at target, hundreds of cars in the parking lot, most of the registers open, people everywhere. Then we tried Kmart for the few things we couldnt find. Counting me and my wife, there were three customers in the whole store. Its super depressing. All the employees on the floor were looking at their phones.Also, one month after Christmas, there was still aisle after aisle FILLED with Christmas product. It looked like early November in there. They obviously had a disappointing holiday season.Hurry in before they get closed.

I’ve been shopping here for years. The quality of products and variety are great, I especially like the clothing.

The place is so runned down and old. It was a crazy mess during Christmas and the lines were long with only two lanes open. I found a good price on swing set, ordered it online for pick up, a day later they said it wasnt even ready. Its right there on the shelf! We had to go through a long process just to pick it up..

A very good selection of cute childrens clothing and toys. I shop Kmart in this store and online. Their Wonderkids line of clothing is a favorite for my toddler. I prefer to shop in store earlier in the day, customer service has been quite good. Im impressed at how this Kmart store has revived my opinion of the store.

The cashier had no customer relations not very good when you have to work with people. Slow and then not die of things were brought when customer was using coupons. Just terrible. Need more happy personnel and better training.

Its K-Mart.... But seriously plan on the longest wait of any major retailer to be rung up. They have such a long check out process, ask you 10 questions, and are still using the same POS from when 12 years ago. Also they give you a 3 foot long receipt, and 2 more feet of receipt coupons...

Love this k mart but the check out process is way too long. Should be fast and simple

Customer service was fine. But I can see the decline from what it once was 10-15 years ago. The other K-mart closed down near disney. I wonder how much longer this place will last.

One of the nicest Kmarts Ive ever been to. Great selection on merchandise but due to low volume, there are less employees than other Kmarts.

I have never in my life experience disrespectfulness in a store from cashers in my life i went yesterday an the man was mad because i ask for a regular receipt the look he gave me Ill never forget. And thats my 2nd time going.

Not happy with the refund policyJust learned this weekend that its a 30 day return policy for even an exchange. I had the receipt and even though it was 32 days I could not even get a store credit to purchase something else. I did not ask for money back, just wanted to purchase something else. But no, apparently the CEO of Sears/Kmart changed the policy and so if its day 31, then you the customer is SOL. Looks like I will be going to Target, Walmart and everywhere else a lot more.Its really sad, because when you walk into this Kmart location it looks like a ghost town and now I know why. I have been wondering if its next on the chopping block since there have been a lot of store closures in the past and I can it happening even more now.I remember my mom taking me to sears for clothes as a little kid 50 years ago and over the years never had a problem exchanging stuff. As an adult I have personally spent tens of thousands of dollars at Sears/Kmart and now it ends. All for a measly $35 exchange.
