I really like this place. Its always clean, organized and the clerks are friendly. The prices are fair. And sometimes, you will find things that you didnt realize you need.

Its the Asian version of a dollar store but nicer. More items but they do have a pricing sheet youll need to check. Cheapest items are $1.50 and go up to several dollars.

And with most items at $1.50 you can have a field day and not break the bank.Don’t miss the section with lots of interesting, and some odd, edibles, from snacks and candy to chips and cookies you’re bound to find something that’s delicious as well something that’s downright strange.This is your must stop shop for Christmas stockings or anytime you need lots of fun little gifts, unique items, and things that are just curious, unusual and/or interesting.The place is also amazingly organized and clean considering how much traffic goes through and how many different types of things they have. Be prepared for a little bit of delay at the checkout but it usually moves pretty quickly so nothing to really worry about.The staff this one is friendly knowledgeable and they just make a pleasant place to shop.

Love this place. Sometimes you gotta be quick with certain items because they sell fast. But Daiso does a great job at putting these items on the end caps of the fixtures and labeling as a best selling item. (For me its wasabi peas and spicy ramen!). Even if the item is marked more than $1.5, the deal is still better than shopping online and waiting.

I expected slightly better quality from a Japanese company. The prices correspond to the quality however. I guess Muji has us spoiled!

I went with a friend. Wanted to get a plastic/acrylic photo frame 8x10 size. Nothing with exact measurements on it. My friend however found everything she was looking for.

I love this store but my shopping experience just now was unpleasant. Though the staff at the front/cashiers were incredibly friendly and helpful, there was a staff member following me throughout the entire store the ENTIRE time I was there shopping. Being as I was the only black person in the store, I can only assume I was being racially profiled and watched closely because of the color of my skin. Very disappointing and ruined my shopping experience.

If you cant have fun in this store and find something to buy then youre not trying. Lots to look at and everything is at a great price. Very clean store with everything displayed neatly. Dont forget to check out the food items!

They have tons of stuff: arts and crafts supplies, stationary, office supplies, makeup, hair accessories, organizers, japanese snacks and a lot more for only 1.50 each maybe a little more for some items but you get a lot out of it!! Just try not to go overboard, it adds up before you know it!

Very extensive daiso location. Huge selection, plenty of stock. Items were well organized and labeled and occupancy was well managed. Masks are of course required and prices are as daiso always promises- delightfully low!

This Daiso location is very clean, open late and has sweet, patient workers... I have no complaints! :)Sidenote: The only reason why I cant give them 5 stars is because I went to another Daiso in Los Alamitos that was twice the size & had all kinds of items that I had never seen before! (Because my neighborhood Daiso is this smaller one.) Nevertheless, this smaller location still has a great selection.. But if you want the overwhelming, full blown, everything Daiso has to offer shopping experience, then go to Los Al! ;) 😜🤑🛒👀⏰⌛💰🛍🛍🛍💸🤷‍♀️LOL

Absolutely my favorite store. Clean bright. So many unique items. Wondrful helpful friendly staff. Great prices. I always find something different. I say to myself, you know I didnt know I need this, but now I do. For example little socks for your chair or boiled egg shapers. The list goes on. If you havent been here you have to stop on by.

I like Daiso, but sometimes its products are very low quality. I bought a plastic ice cube tray and in a few weeks the plastic cracked and broke. I also bought a tupperware container and the lid cracked within two weeks. They should have better quality control and hire a new plastic buyer. I understand that it is similar to a low price store, but products shouldnt last just a few days before breaking.

New stuff at relatively new location. Good deals and other stuff all under $10....

Cool place....there products and stuff they sell are from Japan. They have a lot of neat little things. A must check out if your in the area. A+ they keep things clean and sanitized.

Very bad store, they did not say it was final sale and they lied about it when I wanted to return the item 1 minute after sale. The young lady was very rude.

Always fun to shop and get things you think you need. They are restricting customer to 20 at a time for shopping.Crew was very nice.

This store is so cool. They have a variety of nik naks that you need but could not find. I just wish the had cold drinks like cherry ice water.

Nice place friendly staff. Max 20 customer can be in the store so there was a 10 minutes wait on a Sunday afternoon.

Very beautiful place with equally beautiful household utility items that you can put to realistic use in your home. Also has cute aesthetic pieces for that simple, yet, clean living space decoration. I gladly recommend.

I love this store it always has such cute products available I love shopping in the candy aisle they have really delicious sweets. And everything so economical. Its a cool place to even come and browse around I always have a good time walking around looking at all their cool stuff but I always do, at least with one or two items.

Diaso is always a fun and interesting place to shop. They have something for everyone at a great cost. Also, if youve never tried Japanese snacks and candies, start here there are a lot of interesting and good munchies at that store.

They’re so cute the even have adorable pink shopping carts. I always spend way longer than I intend here because there are so many things to look at. Great prices on things that are maybe a little bit nicer than your average dollar store (also things are $1.50, not $1), plus it’s all extra cute and very Japanese. Plus some really useful things I didn’t even know I needed!

Ive always liked coming here. The employees are always nice and they usually always have what I need. Plus, its walking distance from my house so thats always a good thing. I usually go to the one in Gardena but since this location opened up, I havent gone back to that location.

I was pleasantly surprised at the service I received while visiting. It does take a lot to keep a business like this afloat and while making customer service your top priority, some may see this as challenging. I would definitely return as they rank high marks with me on the appearance and maintenance side. $1.50 for everything? Get out of town. Japan has become my new best friend.

Chinese and Japanese cheap store. I love this store.

Almost everything is $1.50, there are some great finds! They have those magic erasers for cleaning, a large pack. These cost twice as much for half as much in other stores. Stationery finds are great add well as cool kitchen tools. I got some covered ice cube trays that make large ice cubes, great for stacking in the freezer with the lids on.

My favorite salad dressing lives here. Toasted sesame. Yummy!

Cool store for Japan stuff

Excellent workers. I want almost everything here! On occasion you should check if bottles n plastics are BPS free. Sometimes items are not top quality. Still a great place!

They got every ramune flavour and I always come in here for that. There noodle selection is very big and sometimes I have trouble deciding on which ones because there’s so many good flavours. The noodles and ramune is cheaper than everywhere else, and the parking is good which is rare in long beach. The workers are always helpful in helping me decide on noodles and give good suggestions

Well organized with quality products. Come with an idea in mind or else you may be tempted to spend 5 times what you were expecting to. The items are cheap but good quality, and I tend to find things I never knew I needed.

We LOVE Daiso, My kids love all the little snacks and trinkets and I love the price! More important tho are finding decently priced chopsticks and cotton rounds and a ton of other house hold basics and J and K beauty stuff like sheet masks. I love the selection of tea pots and kitchen gadgets as well. And the organization section tons of little baskets and jars and dividers

This place is an amazing little surprise! Everything in the store is a buck-fifty unless otherwise noted. The staff are very friendly and very cool. And everywhere you turn theres a cute or cool little knick-knack that youre really going to appreciate. And in all honesty a lot of daily useful durable stuff as well. Fun little store with cheap (quality and price) Japanese house-hold products. The store is like a gift-shop/dollar store but prices are not fixed. Good place to find those travel pillows, bottles and what-not along with kitchen organizers etc.
