The food is excellent as always. The staff has always been nice and welcoming. The last few times, I have encountered a person named Amber. Amber, doesnt say hi, she acts as though taking your order is inconvenient, and when she makes an error in your order doesnt even apologize. This is not the type of service I use to receive there. A smile goes along way.

The food here is so amazing!!! Only time I had an issue was when I got the flautas, by the time I got them home the steam in the container made them soggy :( but everything else Ive had from here has been amazing!! I think the prices are fair too, ceviche is a bit pricey but its so yummy that I pay for it without even thinking of the price.

Our order was completely wrong with incomplete/missing combo items. I had to drive back to get it fixed. I was not offered anything for my inconvenience. The worse was an item ordered with no beans due to allergies (which was said at the time of the order) had beans. A couple of bites were eaten & person with allergies had a reaction. When I explained to the cashier she told the cook in Spanish & his reaction was so! I am certain they did not believe I spoke Spanish & understood. This was very disappointing since SuperMex is one of our favorite restaurants.

I usually love Super Mex. But the young girl with the glasses behind the counter was very rude. You dont talk to customers the way she talked to me. Will not be going back to that location. Good customer service is key.

I am at Super Mex once a week and the staff ia always helpful and sweet. I am creature of habit so I get the same meal every week and it ia always done to perfection.

Delicious Mexican food.

I ordered the SuperMex wet burrito - take-out. Because theres still dine-in restrictions, this vendor did an outstanding job with packaging my main meal, condiments, and utensils.

Veggie burrito to go was great, everything tasted fresh, a bit on the small side but nothing offensive. Chips and salsa were great.

Covid take out bean & cheese burritos were delish!

This place is actually called Jr. Mex and is a taco shop, not a sit down restaurant like I was expecting. Food was good, no restroom. Love their chips and salsa!

The food is good the prices are normal what you expect to pay for a plate $10, but it needs some good spicy salsas. Shared a plate of chilaquiles 😔 they werent spicy but still good and a plate of Machaca con huevo that was good but missing a good salsa.

The guy there has an awesome accent! Like on TV! I dont know if its real or he just plays the role, but its really cool! 😎The food is good and the staff is very friendly and provide excellent customer service!

Shredded beef is very good. Chili relleno had funny after taste, like it had been made the day before and batter had soaked up refrigerator smell. Machaca burrito was good because the shredded beef is good, but was not as good as others weve had. Everything is plastic utensils. At least to go containers have some recycling ability, and even if you eat there it is prepared in to go containers.

WOW. My coworker told me this was his go to spot for hard shell tacos and I now see why. THEYRE DELICIOUS. Perfect crunch without becoming soggy and that shredded beef is so juicy! Super quick service too makes it a huge win for lunch bites.

Always consistent, family style food to fill you up. Not a lot of vegan options here. I would do a veggie burrito with no cheese add guacamole. But that gets old after a while.

I moved into this area and Super Mex was the first place we tried. The service was decent and the nachos were great! We kept going and everytime we were disappointed of the food and service. We were there yesterday and well never go back again. I understand it was Fathers day but the waitress took forever to show up at least for recognition of our precense. We were about to leave when finally she took our order... After at least one hour later the food showed up and then we had to wait for utensils and we had to ask 5 times for a drink before it was brought to the table... I have been in the business cause I owned my own restaurant till I retired a year ago, but this day I will not forget...

One of our favorite lunch spots. Always quick and delicious. Standard mexican food. Love their nachos and taquito. The meat is very flavorful. Although I get annoyed because whether I order the Super Nachos with Carne Asada and a coke, a Combo plate or a Taquito plate my total is always $16 lol. Large portions. The best Mexican food in Long Beach. Dont get me started. Good prices, as Mexican food should not be expensive. Try my favorite taquitos or machaca. Service with great flavored rice and super good refried beans. They have several locations. Some serving beer and margaritas.

Standard Mexican fare. Its a chain so you get a pretty standard quality and rarely get sub-par dishes. Reasonable price. Taco Tuesday gets you a decent street taco for a decent price.

Got the Mexican Caesar Salad-no caesar dressing available, they dont offer it. I guess its the few bits of Romaine lettuce that makes it a Caesar??? Not ordering that again. Cant beat most of their food though. ****

Supermex Jr is perfect if you are in a rush or dont want to go to the main restaurants. Got the shredded beef taco with Chile relleno and they were delicious. Fast service.

The service was slow and unfriendly. I ordered taquitos (2 chicken / 2 beef). They were not crispy and the beef in one of them was so tough it was impossible to chew. Ive been a patron of Super Mex for 25+ years. If this was an example of their fate, I would not return. I will still patronize Super Mex, but Ill never eat at this one again

** BEWARE **Used my debit card to pay for $37.71 worth of food today.While I was waiting in my car for the food to be ready I called my card and it said that they charged me $45.25.I went back in to dispute it with the cashier (Veronica) and she acted like she didnt know what was going on and I should call the bank to see why I was getting charged that amount.Seems like they have some shady dealings going on here!!😡

They are nice, quick & friendly service..I wish I wouldve known that they dont give chips & salsa in the bag..It was my first time using this location. Apparently they give the chips but you get your own salsa..I had no idea they had a salsa bar at the other end of the store..I didnt get a drink so who knew?

Solid food and rapid service.Their bean & cheese burrito is the tastiest and most expensive Ive had - but I get it almost every time! I sometimes change it up its the standard carnitas burrito, also delicious.The Super Mex salsa is top notch (in my opinion) - especially if you let it sit a day or two. This take-out location rocks the salsa verde that I destroy all to easily: with chips or dumped on my bites of burrito. I just prefer my own chips... (esp the Big Saver chips cooked in coconut oil). The salsa bar also helps when you arent content with what salsa they do give you (usually only included in the bag with $15 or more purchase).Me loving the food and fast service (I call and then drive to pick-up: ready when I arrive) is one thing but so does my family so were here all the time.Of the five Super Mex locations that are within a short drive for me, this is the best that serves the food we order... and its not the closest.So, while I go out of my way to frequent this Jr Mex (partly for the salsa verde that others dont offer), thank you to those who didnt like it and are avoiding it - itll keep the service quick for me! ; )
