I ordered cookies to send to my daughter, I picked the Hand Delivery thinking they would ring the doorbell and hand them to her. They delivered to her doorstep in the hot sun and left them there, luckily a neighbor saw them and knocked on her door to let her know she had a delivery, otherwise they would have sat there for hours and melted. I think you should at least ring the doorbell for awareness. The cookies themselves are delicious!

Should have listened to the reviews about shipping. The cookies should have gotten there on a Saturday. They were finally delivered on Wednesday. I paid for express Saturday delivery! Needless to say, 5 day old cookies were stale, dry, hard and broken. Inedible. I reached out to customer service and still have not gotten a reply. I will change this review if they refund or re-deliver fresh cookies, but I havent heard boo from them. Ugh. So disappointing.

Wouldnt open the door, or answer the phone. When someone finally answered the door, they wouldnt make anything vaguely resembling what I needed. Also, theyre really pricey.

Ordered online for granddaughter’s graduation. Was very embarrassed to the quality and condition of cookies she received. Cookies apparently shipped from Texas to California instead of a local store/location. Half the cookies received were broken and looked old/stale. Must have been shipped in a slow moving bumpy devices truck. Shipped on a Monday, supposed to be delivered on a Thursday. Didn’t come until Friday. VERY DISAPPOINTED, will not be using or recommending. Have reached out to their customer service, but have yet to receive a response😟😟😟

I placed an on line order for hand delivery - the manager called and asked if it could be shipped to the recipient overnight. I specifically said it was for a 2 year olds birthday and it would need to be early. She said it would. It arrived so late, past her bedtime, that she missed her gift. The manager called and told me to I should have know UPS was 8am-8pm. She never said UPS - FedEx offer early deliveries. Regardless of WHAT you order they will do what they want to and when they want to. Doesnt matter if it ruins a birthday or disappoints the customer.

Ordered long distance. Had something come up and needed it delivered the same day. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly!! It was delivered as requested. Y’all made my day. She says they are super yummy too. Thank you so much!

Terrible first and last experience. Had my order cancelled because there would be too much traffic in my delivery location. What a lazy company! Unreliable and unprofessional. Made me feel like a bother for even ordering from them. Ordered elsewhere. Thanks for nothing.Edit: I ordered with ABeautifulCalifornia florist after this company cancelled, and they didnt have any trouble delivering. Dont order from Cookies by Design unless you want to take the risk of having them cancel your order due to them just being flat out lazy!

The cookie basket was delivered promptly on the date requested. This was a birthday present for my son and he was pleasantly surprised. I ordered a Happy Birthday balloon to go along with the basket as well as some additional candy treats. My son said the cookies were fresh and delicious! The Cookie Basket is a great gift for any occasion!

What a wonderful shop! They responded quickly and professionally to a rush job I had. From the customer service to delivery to quality of the goods, I cannot recommend Cookies by Design enough! Excellent delivery service. The driver promptly called me to let me know he had delivered the package where he had left it because no one was home. They also checked with me on delivery date, etc. I will for sure order from them again. The cookies are beautiful and I heard yummy.

My Son had a birthday while traveling for hockey. I wanted to send him a little surprise since we werent there with him. I placed an online order. This was a very easy process. I called to get an estimated time of delivery, which was accurate. The person I spoke with was very friendly and extremely helpful. My son sent me a picture and it was exactly the way I ordered it. He said it was really yummy too!! Im a very pleased customer.

Super cute, would definitely recommend to others. They have all occasions and have really fast delivery. Only thing negative is that if you pay $25 for hand delivery they don’t ring the doorbell and cookies might sit outside until someone sees them.

With the help from Renee (the manager) I ordered 50 large cookies that fit my theme for party favors. They were delicious and stayed fresh for days! Renee offered to tie my thank you tags on each one with coordinating ribbon and even offered to deliver them for a minimal charge. My experience was easy, price friendly, and most importantly LOVED by my guests!

Christina did a phenomenal job with the special Confetti & Candles basket of 2 dozen cookies I ordered for my husband to surprise him for his birthday. I had barely placed the order a couple of days before they were to be delivered and Cookies by Design came through with flying colors! The day before the delivery was to be made, I spoke to Christina to request that the delivery be made before noon time, and she agreed to schedule it with the delivery guy accordingly, and the timing was perfect since my husbands colleagues were all already gathered in the break room for their holiday potluck. Everyone absolutely LOVED the cookies, and the 2 decorated Happy Birthday message cookies were so festive and absolutely adorable (just as shown on their website). Needless to say, my husband was very pleasantly surprised, and his colleagues got to celebrate his special day with him. I ordered two dozen of assorted cookies with nuts, but everyones favorite was the double chocolate/chocolate chip one. No one could get enough of those, so my husband will definitely be venturing over to your bakery across the street from his office to pick up more soon; yum yum. He better, cause I did not even get to sample that one; LOL. I will definitely order from you again. Thank you for a job well done! :)

And, by the time I was on the phone with Sophia, I had little hope of getting my cookie gift to my friend in time for their 16th birthday. But, Sophia completely turned my experience to the total positive. She was professional, patient, easy to work with, respectful, and approached my situation with a can do attitude ultimately leaving me completely satisfied and pleased.

Quality is extremely poor and was embarrassed at the gift that actually arrived. It was sent out of Texas but ordered online. Looked like something from “Nailed It” on Netflix
