Every Friday I arrive an hour before my clients are scheduled to spend time here. Quick service with a smile. Matcha, coffee, tea, scones, gluten free, seating, WiFi a great place to start the day.They even have their own handmade mugs and plates for sale. I love local.

Trendy local spot. Looks like a hipster coffee shop in Brooklyn.They have normal table tops, high tops and sofa seating. Repurposed wood walls, music inspired art work and a cheese set if you want to play.Great for grabbing a coffee and pastry to hang out with some friend, or bring your laptop and do some work.I didn’t get any pastries but they looked yummy And they have a small menu for food. The stuffed French toast was calling my name! But I resisted. The French press coffee I got was on point.

Fell in love with this place the moment I walked in. Lovely interior, tranquil atmosphere, and artistic adornments. I was also very impressed with the coffee- unlike any brew Ive ever tried. They offer a variety of non-dairy milk. Sizes and prices are very fair and the service is exceptional. Ill definitely be stopping by here more often.

Very nice place to sit and relax over a cup of very good coffee. This is upscale and relaxed at the same time. The coffee is outstanding no matter how you take it or the type of bean. The food to go with is also superior. The only issue can be parking. Especially true in the middle of the day

Surprised to find such excellent tasting coffee while passing through Long Beach. I take my coffee black and so coffee needs to not be overly acidic for me. Their house coffee really made an impression on me and rivals many of the coffee houses here in Manhattan. Another test to tell if it is good coffee is when the remainder of the coffee has cooled down completely and it still taste good. I pass through Long Beach often and will definitely be back. Keep up the good work!

The go to place for good coffee and tea. Large variety of beans ground fresh for each cup and prepared with care via pour over, French press, vacuum brew, and something else I forgot. Ask the friendly barrister and youll get enough of an explanation to choose something that fits your taste. Seems to specialize in coffee but had a variety of delicious looking teas. Plenty of comfortable seating.

Hello!A few things, the space is really nice and comfortable, the service was great and they have a lot of milk alternatives but the espresso drink were not properly made. They dont know the basics of a good espresso shot. My espresso had a bitter flavor which tells me it was overextracted and even with milk you could still feel the bitterness. A little bit of training and this place would be better.Good luck!

Really cool little shop! Reminds me of the smaller shops in the newly trending areas of Brooklyn. Great small-batch coffee (roasted in-house), local sweets and treats (some gluten free!), and great affordable coffee. This is the kind of place I wish we had closer to me, and more common throughout Long Island. The iced mocha I had was great, and the carrot cake cupcake was to die for. Highly recommended.

Coffee via vacuum pot is a fun process to watch and it is the best cup of coffee I have ever had. Also fun to take the kids or hang out here because the art is funky and the brewing process is on special display, its like watching a science experiment. They are open early, so starting your day off right is easy with this place. I am waiting for a nice Sunday morning to try the food, but it makes me salivate every time I see it. Every staff member has been so helpful and delightful to laugh with and the price is right. Oh and the music is good too. Definitely a regular spot. :)

This place is great. A good working, hanging out kind of place with good drinks and good, albeit limited, food -- think snacks, rather than meals.It can sometimes have slow service, though. Seems to me to be a lack of rhythm/understanding issue, rather than a problem with any one server in specific. Not even close to a deal breaker; love this spot.

The best Chai Latte I have ever had!!! I especially enjoyed watching them passionately make every cup in my group. We sat there and enjoyed every sip while we gobbled down the yummy treats they offered. I am looking forward to going back again & again! ;)

Best Smores in the UNIVERSE..yes that good. The best dessert Ive eatn EVER!!!!!Grab one from their boardwalk location (if you are lucky enough - they sell out quick) and sit and watch the sunset with a cup of their coffee. It is my Sunday ritual now, and its the perfect way to end your weekend.

Wish I had found this place sooner....coffee is superior to pretty much any other place Ive been to. I used to be an avid Starbucks person (and I do simple drinks like dark or blonde roast, straight up black) and Ill never go back to one again...it tastes so burnt and bitter compared to GentleBrew!

Nice place, very clean, plenty of places to sit, they offer wifi, so for that I would give 5 stars, but the place is like Starbucks with prices . If you wish to compete with the Giants, gotta undersell them at least a little. I understand theyve got rent to pay, but they miiiiiight get more business if they were a bit more competitive.

Easily the best espresso and cappuccino that Ive had in Long Beach. Compares with some of the better coffee specialists in Manhattan, such as Joe the Art of Coffee. Nice smooth beans with excellent crema. Open late too. Their coffee beans are relatively cheap (for the quality) and produced great results in my Gaggia Classic machine.

Dont know how to describe rating on coffee excellent clean cozy apparently the owners⁄co owners gave off a weird vibe its perdominatly caucasian as i was sittin co owners or employees walk pass me wen5 behind counter small place you must know your regulars from vistor well the man repeatly kept say black black black black he has to wear this disgusting black shirt he said black so much until the lady said knock it off my back was turnt ..i got up when he cooled off the black thing...i will never bring my black skin into your establishment ever !! Unbelievably one of the best coffees Ive ever had. The decaf which I like to combine with their regular Columbian or Costa Rican brew is beyond smooth! Absolutely, no bitter after taste. I also love the quick delivery service and will continue supporting this Long Island company!

Since the kids opened in LB from their little hole in the wall shop in Hicksville...post Sandy, and continued until recently to roast small batches of beautiful beans in the, I believe one or two pound roaster, they now have grown into coffee, tea, breakfast and pastry entrepreneurs...Even opened on the boardwalk their second site... Couldnt have happened to a nicer bunch of humans...I mix my coffee with a dark and a medium roasted bean...my own taste and they use what I call the bunsen burner method of brewing...vacuum....casual hangout, use your laptop, read the paper, talk with the regulars... youll become one fast....only reason not five stars ( Id love to give it 4.85 stars ) is not being able for anybody to bring their pupsters in since one horrid woman complained!!!

This was a fantastic experience. The baristas were knowledgeable and the coffee delicious. Their selection of baked goods wasnt terrific but doesnt take away from the quality of the coffee shop.We went to waste some time before going to the movies nearby. We expected to sit down with some coffee and talk for an hour but they have a lot of items to keep people busy including books and games. We choose Jenga!
