The best way to start a day is to go to Fermento, get a coffee and one of the great pastry ! Really good !Nice people own this quiet and peaceful place. Coffee is good and the pastries are delicious.Pistachio Cake was speechless, perfect balance ! 1 piece is not enough.Matcha Chocolate muffins, just out of the oven, is terrific !I strongly recommend this place !

Tasty meals with large portions. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Things were a bit pricy. The burrito had a LOT of rice compared to additional fillings (2/3 to 1/3). The French toast was fantastic. The omelet was packed with veggies. The slated tables were slightly challenging with a child and fairly small for 3 people. Service was good, moderately fast. Enjoy!

FANTASTIC! I went there for the first time today. The staff is absolutely lovely! The food is divine! The kids loved loved loved the food! Its a must!!!! They customized the burrito to my son and it was DELICIOUS! Cant wait to go again.

Fermento staff really just made my day.They helped me plan a birthday breakfast delivery and included a special touch with a happy birthday greeting on the bag. They were able to deliver the food earlier than expected, which was great for us.They were beyond helpful and patient and helped me ensure I had a variety of options for the family. This meant so much more because I was coordinating the surprise from Philly.I’m looking forward to visiting in person one day soon! Thank you, again!

Came from quite a ways away to try this low key vegan bakery/coffee shop for Sunday brunch and I’m so glad we did. Had an incredible vegan brekkie bagel. Best vegan sandwich I’ve had in four years of being plant based. Finished with a freshly baked raspberry scone and a delicious oat milk latte. We’ll be back soon!!!!

I am absolutely thrilled to live nearby this cafe. It has a wonderful atmosphere and the owners are very accommodating, helpful, and eager to please. Their food is full of flavor and variety and served fresh and their coffees are delicious. The croissants are to die for- flaky, soft, and sweet. This place is a must try. I will definitely be coming back!

So happy I found this place ...Recently went organic and not eating any meat from animals ...Walked by it after picking up my laundry one day and once I went in I fell in love with the place, the food and the people ever since ...All the food is amazing and healthy and it’s hard not to keep ordering more once you start !And besides the amazing breakfast options and lunch options you just want to bring home all the amazing home made breads, croissants, cakes and deserts home with you too !!Definitely recommend it and I can’t wait to bring my sister with me the next time she comes to visit me in Long Beach.Thanks Again !!!

Food was DELICIOUS!! Got the Cuban sandwich I was nervous about the broccoli Rabe but it was perfect! Not bitter at all 9/10 my one this was the ratio from meat to broccoli. Maybe when the meat is purchased it is reshaped to fit the sandwich better. Also got the veggie panini and was also perfect! Highly recommend

I love Fermento! My husband and I have been morning regulars since it opened and just went for dinner for the first time. The coffee and pastries are delicious (try the tofu scramble on the multigrain croissant!). And the dinner was AMAZING! We started with a cheese and olive tray with some of the best vegan cheeses I’ve ever had. The entrees were fresh and complex.We got the rigatoni and lasagna but will be back to try more soon!

We ordered the chorizo sandwich and pancakes for delivery. Everything came hot & delicious, including the coffee. Will definitely be ordering again or visiting, when theyre not that busy.

Oh. My. Goodness. Delicious, nutritious, and pretty fairly priced for what it was. I had some kind of broccoli sandwich on crusty bread with artichoke hearts and sunflower chevre. My partner had a quinoa-lentil burger, and some kind of crispy kale chips which were addicting. Highly recommend, cant wait to go back. Staff were pleasant and helpful when we asked for recommendations to eat after a workout.

Relocated from the city, offering same great quality. Hand made vegan chorizo panini was great.. and the hummus is so delicious that you would spoon it out without any bread! Espresso coffee as it supposed be.

The lasagna was inedible. Its the only time I have ever returned food to a restaurant. When I walked into the empty restaurant to order, the people at the counter stared at me nonstop, even after I said Hi, Id like to order takeout, I need a minute to look at the menu. It was around 730pm when I ordered and roughly 30 degrees outside and the door was propped open, making it freezing inside, so I left to go somewhere warmer while I waited for my food to be ready. When I got back (about 20 minutes later) it was similarly weird and they appeared to be knelt down at the back of the kitchen, taking my food out of a microwave or toaster oven. The guy handed me the takeout box with the lasagna in it (no bag), asked if I needed napkins and then I left while they continued to stare at me. Unfortunately I didnt look inside until I got home, which was when I discovered that it looked like one of those frozen lasagnas you can buy at the grocery store (thin, perfectly rectangular, rounded corners) except it was drizzled in a disgusting looking thin, clearish, white sauce. It smelled off. I took a bite and had to split out the expired-tasting spinach and weird tasting sauce and mushy pasta. Since I paid $19.60 for this (with tip), I decided to go back, assuming that there must have been some sort of error because it honestly seemed like a prank. When I got back they were very confused and didnt know what to do and said they were calling the owner. They told me that it was vegan, which wasnt labeled in english, and that it was freshly made. I do like vegan food and am familiar with dairy alternatives, and so that was not the problem. Im not sure how this happened but I didnt want to sit around (they seemed surprised by this) so I gave them my name and number and told them to follow up. Its been a few weeks and I havent heard from them and have just cancelled the credit card charge. I normally dont take pictures of food but this was so bizarre that I had to document it.I had also been there a couple times before during the day and it was always weird and awkward and empty. I wonder how long they are going to last.

This is a good place in Bedford Stuyvesant. It serves vegan Italian food. I havent eaten lasagna in years (due to being vegan) and here in Fermento, finally I had one and enjoyed it a lot. By now I forgot how lasagna tastes, but this one was great and seemed like real (whatever that would mean). The other food I tasted there is also good, and there are few dished that I am yet to try! The wine selection is nice, maybe even better if you order by bottle than by glass. The place has a good vibe and atmosphere, very nice people working there, few tables outside and its nice inside too. Happy to have this in my neighbourhood.

This place is a GEM. I love the atmosphere and the food is incredible and so reasonably priced. Breakfast and dinner are both so good. They’re also very hospitable and nice. Tea selections I love, coffee is delicious and their wine selection is also incredible. Definitely one of my favorite spots in the neighborhood.

Ordered a lemon croissant. It had a yellow pudding inside it with little to no lemon flavor. Overpriced and lacking good flavor.

Absolutely fantastic coffee. Not 3rd wave, but straight out of Italy. they even use the same beans as what most cafes use in Italy.Get the macchiato.Food and service also top notch. Great, quiet and dim lit ambiance. Will go again.

Really wanted to love this place as there arent many vegan options in the area. I was really disappointed with the tofu scramble though. Too wet and crumbly and no veggies mixed in. My boyfriend was disappointed with his tofu wrap too. Said it was mostly just rice inside. Probably wont be back.

Vegan, cozy & Italian. The Broccolini was spectacular! Went back the next day to get another one. Really authentic Italian, homemade flavors. Matcha and Banana Walnut muffin also really good. Would definitely go back again. Friendly service and low-key vibe. Need to try the smoothies and the wine too!

Fermento is a fantastic place. Its a perfect place to stop by or a spend some time inside any part of the day. If its a morning and you want to have a nice breakfast, I dont think you can have a better bagel anywhere in Brooklyn. If its a lunch time try their veggie burger.. its delicious. Or if you want to spend a romantic evening with your significant other, have a glass of delicious italian wine then this is the place to go.

Its a nice restaurant they also got outside sitting area where you can eat in peace with no stragglers passing by nice and clean it was a church once before and they turned it over into a cappuccino restaurant and its very delicious is right on Marcus Garvey and Kosciusko Street you could choose where you want to sit theres two sides one side on Marcus Garvey and the other side of seating is on Koski Osco side so you get the view of both sides of you like its very comfortable and very fast service cappuccino is delicious you can ask for any type of cappuccino and they have it espresso

This spot is a gem in my neoghborhood. They definitely satisfied my italian food cravings -veggie cuidine-. Zucchini meat balls where really good, a lot of sauce and bread to dip in. A friend had the lasagna and she enjoyed it. Chocolate cake was the best. Try it if you can, it is a must. Not sweet at all and very rich texture.

This is, without a doubt, the best Vegan place in the Bushwick-Bedstuy area (and Im only saying this because I havent tried all of Williamsburgs...). The service is great. But beyond how good any service can be is the food. The homemade cheeses, the Tofu-Scramble Croissant, the paninis (all of them... in three weeks), and every single meal on the menu makes this place unique in that THIS CANNOT BE MADE AT HOME BY ANYONE BUT THE OWNER. loved it.

I went to this place for breakfast, I ordered a bagel with mozzarella cheese and avocado but it only tasted like butter, I didnt like it. The coffee was good and the attention was quick but I would not return.
