Walked in through the back and was delighted at the vibe and atmosphere. Its a nice place to work, very hip. They have 2 sizes for their coffee. The smaller has 2 shots of espresso and the larger(16oz) has 3 so make sure you can handle that much if you get the larger one. Had the honey oat latte, iced. Pretty yummy, will come back!!!

Was at Black Ring Coffee Roasters this past week, and had one of the best iced coffees ever. The service from their barista Savannah was incredible, she was very friendly, hospitable, and had a very warming presence. The coffee shop itself was a nice place to sit, and enjoy the expertly roasted coffee. And as we were enjoying our coffees, and lattes, we made a friend who was also a customer. If you have not stopped in Black Ring, please do, you will not be disappointed.

Quality was on point and customer service was amazing! The barista was super friendly and the “Mexican Mocha” was delicious.

Easily the best coffee shop in North Long Beach. One of the best in the entire city. They roast their own beans in house, so the quality is top tier.The baristas are all very cordial and friendly. They have no problem chatting with you as you enjoy your coffee.Its a small shop so it feels personal, yet but enough for you to get work done or enjoy some peace and quiet.Great ambiance, great people, great coffee.

They were kind and knowledgeable and have so many philanthropies they work for this is the greatest coffee shop. Plus the grind all your beans fresh and roast them in house. I definitely recommend them to everyone.

They roast their coffees light to medium as should be. They have very tasty varietals on sale. They need to vary up their drip offerings daily, but otherwise a good cup of Joe.4/20/19 - Adding this review and photo of their Burundi Masha red bourbon varietal. This is what they should be serving every freakin day!!! I bought a 12 oz bag and please trust me, no bitterness, no added sweetener needed, it goes way beyond what you can expect from other coffees. Well at least until I find a better one.

The whiskey vanilla latte is incredible. So is the chocolate chip cookie my son did not want to share.

I arrived at 10min before closing with 3 people ahead of me. The barista was taking our orders quickly and answered my questions without hesitation. My drink was served hot and taste was on point. I will be coming back! And to the barista today - you are the definition of cool under pressure - thank you for what you do!

They are open, enforcing social distance and mask wearing, so its a safe as anything can be right now. And the coffee is so good! I got the bourbon vanilla cappuccino and the foam is next level microfoam. Their coffee is super smooth, and not bitter--its similar to a light Illy, Blue Bottle, or Coffee Commissary-type roast. Super yum!!

Pretty good Mexican Mocha and a neat place, easy to social distance and everyone wears masks. Plus, they just added a cool new vending machine.

The coffee here is excellent, and everyone there knows their craft. They tend to roast lighter to medium, but the flavor is always full and complex.

So glad this place is right here in North Long Beach. They roast their beans right there in the same building and they are downright good at it.The Nitro Cold Brew is just special too. So smooth and light!Then theres the service. I went on a Monday which is when the owners are there and they were so friendly and helpful, and its so obvious that they love what they do and their passionate about your coffee!

Nice, and simple decor. no seating inside.for parking, store is located in a plaza with free parking.yu can also do free stree parking but they are tight.got the whiskey latte iced, and the flavor comes from a syrup. Its pretty sweet but not excessively so. No alocohl in this drink.

People were nice. Very helpful when I asked a lot of questions about the coffee. Will be back

Today I tried the Honey Oat Milk Latte and it was amazing. The shop was really clean and a comfortable environment. Regret not tipping the barista for her fast service fast service. Im not sure if it means anything but for the girl who was making drinks around 12pm on Feb 9th, my friend and i loved our drinks. Definitely recommending.

Roasted right there next door by experts with experience (the owners). Always about 4 beans available to take home. Awesome customer service, and a lovely space to drink coffee. You need this coffee for your house and you need these guys to make you your weekly/daily/ hourly takeout cup. I hope they expand and keep going for many years!

Got my car almost towed from the parking lot attached....had to pay $86 to drop it...so if you like really expensive coffee its the spot for you...otherwise avoid this place and the surrounding businesses...they seem to not care about the public and customers and rather force their problems on you.

I usally go for the Espresso Tonic, I highly recommend it; super- refreshing.The drink should be out shortly once you order, allowing you take a moment and admire the art lining the walls, or, gaze upon the barista crafting your drink. Voila, your name is called and you are now sipping on some of the best coffee LBC has to offer. As always, Black Ring Coffee exceeds all expectations.

Notch coffee, looking forward to their grand opening. Only critique I could give them is to pre warm the mugs when making pour over. (To their credit the chemex was pre warmed and the filter washed prior to brewing)Had a raspberry almond tart, pour over, and a macchiato. Macchiato was on the wet side if thats your style. Pour over was spot on. Almond tart had a pleasant nutty flavor with raspberries inside.As an added bonus, they have cereal on tap.
