Came here on a Saturday afternoon. The pollo asada being cooked outside and the Mexican ice cream is what brought my attention to go in.We knew it was gonna be a legit mercado because we saw a crack head wanting to pick a fight with the owner. Anyway, the pollo asada smelled hella good. We went inside to get some ice cream. The lady at the counter was so helpful and nice to us. She let us sample a few ice creams. All of them were delicious. I chose the coconut and the arroz con leche ice cream. So fricking good! We didnt buy anything else, but the market was very clean and organized inside.Overall, I highly recommend visiting this neighborhood mercado. If I lived here Id definitely come here for my shopping needs.

Not bad at all . It smells so so good. You can smell it like a good quart mile away. I use to race spo I know a quarter mile.🤣🤣🤣 This chicken is so juicy, I had to pull over and eat a piece. Great deal if your feeding a few people. 10 bucks for a whole chicken and salsa.

Yummy grill wood chip grilled chicken on the weekend only for $10. You pay inside and then show your ticket. They also give salsa too so you can enjoy it with your chicken.

If you pass by this place and smell the smoke, do yourself a favor and pull over immediately! The charbroiled chicken that they do here, is exquisite! The first time I discovered the magic that takes place on this corner, it was by accident. I was driving by and smelled that sweet savor. I quickly doubled back, determined to locate the source. After questioning someone in the parking lot, I was educated on the process. You go inside, place your order and pay the cashier. Youll receive your number, then you go outside, join the crowd and wait for your number to be called. After that, tastebud bliss. Good luck making it home without sampling the goods. Oh and dont forget the salsa that comes with each chicken. Thats how you make a good thing, better.

$9.00 for a whole chicken, rice, & beans. Cant beat that & the chicken they cook right there is so darn good. Havent tried anything else yet but I bet its just as good.

Yes the mesquite chicken they cook in the parking lot on the weekends is way better than El Polo Loco. Thats why there is a line.

You cannot beat the taste of the Whole Chicken, grilled to perfection outside. In order to obtain, a delicious one of a kind chicken for your own pleasure and taste, go inside the store and purchase, and take the ticket to the outside cook at the grill.

I love the grilled chicken but they cheated me out of a whole chicken as it was missing a breast so I didnt have enough food for my grandkids and myself

Very clean market, delicious fresh juices, ice cream, Mexican treats, and they sell bbq chicken every weekend. Great customer service always fully stocked.

I love shopping my meat here. Especially, the chorizo seco and beef. They have good specials throughout the week. Checkout their flyer, it is located outside the store. Their produce is fresh, good in quality, and cheap. Healthy grilled chicken on sale Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. I shop here quitr often it is my favorite place for meat and produce. I did not gave La Bodega 5 stars because one of the butcher man never wears gloves. I have to ask him often to put on gloves!

4 Mexican cuisine this us the place all though 8.99 per lbs for carne asada was pretty steep ..but worth it

I live across the street this place is awesome and makes INCREDIBLE (dangerous cause I have a hard time not eating the whole tub) guacamole.. good prices, friendly staff, huge meat selection and everything else youd find at a grocery store.

When I go to the park across the street I stop by here to pick up water, gatorade and snacks. Convenient

When I tried their carne asada marinated meat I was shocked how delicious it was so next day we decided to go back and tried their grilled chicken, men! we are so in love with this place​ now and cant wait to try some other of the food they sell, I am pretty sure it will be good. I cant believe I am going to say this but the grilled chicken was even better than in Mexico!!The wait for the chicken is like and hour or so but is worth it so I highly recommend to pay for it and get your turn then go do something else and come back to pick it up (the guy grilling the chicken will tell you how long is the wait). The prices are cheap, like $8 dlls for the whole chicken. Their green salsa is amazing too and its the only one that my American husband eats besides Tapatío lol

My tamarind scraped tasted like water with sugar, with a hint of diluted tamarind candy.I ordered a tamarind devil without Tamarindo flavor, lemon and chili.I asked for some little bodies that came to little pieces and they mixed it with pieces of Tamarindos withtaste to old a no no no. To top off they put cucumbers that take away the taste of the little body, no no no.The lady charges a loving and very kind person. The prices very expensive for a miserable product.
