Staff is friendly and eager to help with finding books. Extensive selection at super prices. The children’s books start at a dollar! The books I bought are in great condition. I would go here every day if I could!

This is such a cute place! They have nice books I found so many. They also are organized well. The workers are extremely polite,and helpful. The prices are great.

This is a decent used bookstore, but you really need to look to find something good. There arent many eye catching titles, its more of an old timey place where you can find the long-forgotten, yellow-paged chapter books you would read back in elementary school.There are some cool works dating back to 1930s, magic books, conspiracy, war, supernatural, childrens books, and many many old romance novels. Their books are in an okay condition, but I think $7 + tax is too steep for their condition. However, they do have a lot of discounted books for $1 on their sidewalk carts.The service was good, the older gentleman at the counter was nice and was friendly. He asked if I needed help when I came in and rang me up when I picked out a book. Also, I saw a lady come in with a basket of books, as they also buy from the public. Gold star on that.

If not or maybe one of the worst used book stores I have been to, this is not a customer service friendly place, the owner and employees are not very welcoming, who knows it might have been the weather or maybe my luck, or possibly they were having the bad day. .........it doesnt matter I was treated with no courtesy I almost felt like the invisible man by Ralph ellison.Theres so many used book stores in long beach that have and prioritize in amazing customer service, always acknowledging clients.To whom ever reads this Google review dont waist your time here at Once read books store.

Amazing depth and breadth, prices are amazing and the staff is very informed and cool. If you Barnes & Noble then you are only getting access to the titles and information that their buyers want you to see. When you visit a user bookstore you gain access to much more varied subject matter...

This place seems super disorganized but its just because its crammed with books! They have a really great selection and all the shelves are labled well so even though it might seem overwhelming, its pretty easy to find the genre youre looking for. They have a lot of older books that honestly would just look good on a shelf but are definitely worth the read! Little places like these are rare nowadays, so take advantage!

Went looking for a specific title and they knew exactly where it was and led me right to it. Its a great place if you just want to browse. Good prices, especially since a lot of the books are old and unique. Both fiction and non-fiction.

Owner was super friendly, took me back to the section of the store that I wanted, rather than just pointing to the section. He also gave me a deal! Plus there is a rack outside of $1 book!! Cant beat the prices and excellent selection and service!

A treasure of a place with friendly helpful staff. Vintage magazines & books at fair prices. I always find a few books of interest in the clearance sale out front. Plan to spend at least 20 minutes looking. A great place to donate your old books to.

Nice little bookstore located with convenient parking close to stores selection is good more paperback than other type books easy to access able to drop child off at local dance studio and spend time perusing. Close to local cafe and small shops Easy Street front parking.
