Furniture is really nice and set up well. Unfortunately, one of the workers was not so nice. When I asked if I could get help moving a piece of furniture (metal divider) she immediately responded, Who is helping you? When I told her who it was, she didnt budge and I moved the piece myself. Eventually, a gentleman approached me and asked me if he could help. By this point I had already moved the piece.
Customer service is great until after the purchase is made, after which you become a bother. Phone calls aren’t returned, staff are condescending, rude and unhelpful when you do manage to get someone on the phone. The delivery system is deeply flawed. Delivery company blames the storefront. Storefront blames delivery system. Floor sales people were excellent to work with. Once past them however, all down hill. Steer clear if you don’t enjoy getting the run around or spending a tremendous amount of time on the phone
We made $15,000.00 in purchases at the Long Beach, MS store in January and went back again after that. They were fantastic especially Derrick the store manager and our sales person, Ms. Lois. Derrick gave us great help in finding what we were looking for and we could not be more pleased with every piece of furniture we purchased. He was the perfect store manager, friendly and so willing to help his customers. Since our purchases we found out that he is no longer with AFD which we hated to hear. Ms. Lois is also always willing to help you in any way she can..... a great sales lady. Our total experience with AFD has been a great one. Beautiful furniture and great service from every department. I would recommend them to everyone looking for furniture .
From beginning to end, the service we received was superb. The sales person, Mark Kendle was so professional as well as friendly. His no pressure manner was a pleasure, we were able to look around the store at our leisure and take our time to pick out exactly the furniture we wanted. The furniture arrived beautifully and works perfectly with our decor. We will definitely go back for further purchases and highly recommend shopping at American Factory Direct in Long Beach, MS.
We recently purchased a sectional from the Long Beach store. It was in stock and they promised delivery before Memorial Day. The delivery showed up with two of the three pieces and unfortunately the chaise was damaged, so the delivery driver made notes and put it back on the truck. The armless love seat was placed inside and I noticed it had a big stain which the driver said he would set up a service call so it could be cleaned. So now we only had one piece delivered before Memorial Day and that piece had an issue. The service tech (Barry) came out on Memorial Day and took care of the stain. Both Barry and your delivery drivers should be in sales because they truly understand customer service and provide excellent service. Unfortunately, the rest of your team falls short and needs a tremendous amount of training to provide the service your customers expect. Two weeks later the other two pieces were delivered and again the chaise was damaged. The driver even informed me it was the same one which was previously delivered. I accepted the damaged piece because we needed with the expectation it would be swapped with a new piece ASAP.. Unfortunately this issue hasn’t been resolved and your team is hard to reach by phone. I wouldn’t recommend this company unless you expect subpar service from the sales team.
Ordered two couches they said it was on the truck and would be here in 2 weeks. Its been over a month and still no couches. They said the shipment was delayed so what happened to there on the truck. And they dont know when they will be here. So just like everyone says they lie about when your stuff will be in. Just be honest about it there would be alot less bad reviews and mad customers
Came in today to view and buy a couch. Stood around for about 20 minutes without any acknowledgement. I understand being busy but It would be nice to be at least greeted by the various associates. Finally someone asked if I needed help. I said yes and they told me it would be just a minute that they’re helping someone else. and when they were able to help me they didn’t know if they had the couch on the floor or not. super disappointed. I guess I don’t look like I can afford one of their fancy couches.
If I was you I would buy somewhere else. Did not want to give the full discount they promoted when I walked into the door which was 200$ for every 1000$ spent over 3000$. Then it gets better they have brought me the wrong side of my sectional couch 3 times each time delaying the correct piece being delivered by 1 week. So it has been a month and I still do not have the correct couch when confronted there is no discount offered or delivery fee waved for the wrong piece being delivered 3 times. Absolutely will not spend another penny at this place.

Customer service definitely could use improvement. Sales lady LouisLane was wonderful. After the sale was secured communication was poor with the store. Still waiting on delivery on items that were promised 2 months ago. I understand there were delays because of Covid but to be blatantly lied to that the items were available and ready to be delivered and then saying they were not able to deliver them is not acceptable. Then they deliver half the order saying the other was on another ticket. Come on - how incompetent can a company be?! I’m sorry to say you lost a local customer...
We purchased a loveseat & sofa in January. We have had nothing but problems both w/the staff & the furniture. We financed through the store credit company. A week after the sale “Beverly” called to tell me that we were undercharged for the set. I told her we were not going to pay the difference as it was their negligence regarding the charges. She got EXTREMELY RUDE and the conversation quickly escalated. I asked for the manager to call me back. No call. I finally got a call back from Derek (store manager). He assured me he would take care of everything. The first statement I received had the difference in charges applied. Again, multiple phone calls re: for Derek to return my calls. Then I found out that Beverly did another credit inquiry without our consent. Derek did finally return my calls after FIVE attempts. He assured me he would take care of the charges. Next statement-no surprise. Charges were still on there. After three months the charges were finally taken off.Now to the furniture. We had it just shy of two weeks & the motor on the couch went out. Called the warranty company to file a claim. I was informed that any problems w/in the first year were handled through the store. It took right at a month to get a technician out here. He said he was going to order & replace w/a new motor. Another month went by before he was “available” to come out to replace the motor. Meanwhile one end of the loveseat quit working as well. He was able to get it operational. And here we are again. The couch is not working & only one end of the loveseat works. I put in a ticket FIVE WEEKS AGO to have a service call. The tech called me & again said he was going to order new motors & new toggle switches for the furniture. He sssured me as soon as the parts came in he would be out to fix the furniture. Not hearing anything back I called the tech directly. He told me he was going to check on the parts & get back to me. NOTHING’I asked them to just come get the furniture & issue a refund. I was informed that due to Covid they would not be able to do a return. Monday morning I’ll be calling again in yet another attempt to get the set serviced. I’ve been more than patient.It’s really unfortunate b/c the store has beautiful furniture & we had picked out a dining set which we were planning to purchase. I will not deal w/this company again. There are too many businesses that value customer service & this one absolutely DOES NOT!!!Yes-disgruntled customer.

I had visited this location of American Factory Direct a few times before making my purchase decision.The staff was prompt, patient, and answered all of my questions. I went through several variations of furniture sets before deciding on my first choice.Definitely recommend Sue for furniture assistance and Beverly and Karen for check out and store policies.Now I get to patiently wait for my furniture to be delivered. :)
Big sign on the door requiring me to wear a mask but when you get inside the employees either dont have a mask on or they are wearing them under there nose. Rita was wearing hers correctly. Also saw a customer walking around with out a mask.
“All about price all about design” these people are certainly not about customer service!! Ordered a table and it came broken. Asked for a replacement and they’ve been out here twice with the wrong size table to replace it. Now I’m being told (after over a month) that they are ordering a table but have no idea when it will arrive. Haven’t even started the order process until I called twice a week for a month! Asked for manager multiple times and never even get a call back. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE!

I went in the store off of beatline rd i was approached by a sales guy by the name of mark i walked in he he told me about the store telling me what brands they sell. He was very helpful and very attentive of me i noticed there were other customers in the store that was be lefted alone when mark walked by them he asked if they were being helped i walked around didnt see what i needed at that time but i recommend that if u go into the store ask for mark kendle he is a great sales person and very helpful
From the moment I walked in I was greeted and was given time to browse around without a sales hassle. I had a 1000 questions and my salesman was very attentive and answered all of them with grace. I will recommend all my friends to AF always!Edited! So at this moment, we are still awaiting parts of our order. We were originally told that it would only take 2 to 3 weeks. We now are being told may be 1st of November. Partial delivery today and mirror that I thought I purchased with dresser didnt arrive. Called store only to be told dont see a mirror on purchase. Which isnt a huge deal because they dont have it either. Just be super aware that furniture is not available at time of purchase and check behind them on paperwork to make sure they ordered everything correctly. So kinda like ordering online yourself....js
Sue was awesome!Update:Well, they have a sign posted in their showroom that claims that all furniture is in stock or has been ordered already. We bought from this extremely overpriced store because they said we could have our couch in two weeks when everyone else was much later. Furniture was supposed to be here end of August and he we are two dates pushed back and still not couch. Let me tell yall, my cooler is not that comfortable and Im tired of sitting on it! My wife was informed that it is now on back order (which I dont understand how since it is supposedly already ordered or in stock according to their cheaply printed sign in the showroom) and will be middle of October before it is here. Call me crazy, but I dont think that date is even going to happen. They are not up front, dont care about their customers, and I will not ever be shopping here again. If you are reading this review, please notice the copy and paste response that they are going to respond with that they respond to all negative responses with. Dont waste your time and go somewhere else. You will get more for your money and wont be lied to.
We had a very bad experience. Steel Flex recliner purchased by previous owners of our condo wasn’t working. Contacted Steel Flex who said lifetime warranty should be observed by store where purchase was made. Contacted American Factory Direct who spent 3 months acting like they were doing us a favor by ordering a part- which never came in. Called endless times and was last told the part had to come from China! Several calls were never answered and those that were became increasingly rude. Three months! Finally my husband turned the chair over, disassembled it, found a broken piece of wood which he replaced at Lowe’s. Chair works fine and wood does not need to come from China. Obviously steel flex is a good product but its lifetime warranty is only as reliable as the people who sell it
Would be 5 stars but the distribution center sent a counter height table instead of a regular size one and now we have to wait 1.5 months to get a new one. They are saying they cant just swap out the legs. Also 2 of the 4 chairs are very wobbly even when sat on. They didnt offer any compensation or anything for their mistake except an apology. We had to call and set something up for them to come and take the wrong table back. They expected us to keep it until we got the new one. We have pets and kids not going to happen plus we cant even use it even if we wanted too. Luckily we still had our old table so we arent going to be without. The store itself we have had no issues with. They were very helpful and kind and easy to work worth Especially Cece and Beverly. As well as the delivery drivers. I know mistakes happen as we are only human but having to wait another 1.5 months for another is just ridiculous. Especially for the price we paid for it.

Even though my furniture order is delayed another 4 months, I still have to give them 5 stars for their knowledgeable, efficient and friendly staff. Delay on my order is not due to anything the store did but to complications from covid-19 and overseas shipping restrictions.

I was contacted by Ryan after he saw I was looking online. I told him what I was looking for and he immediately sent me pics of all the sofas in that style that they had. I went in a few days later and ask for him. He showed me around and I selected the sofa from one of those he had sent pics of. It really helped me to narrow down what I wanted and he was very knowledgeable about them all. I am very pleased with American Factory Direct and with Ryan. I plan to use him for any future furniture needs I might have. It was a very pleasant shopping experience.

From the second I walked through the door in Long Beach, Mississippi, to the many phone calls I placed to make changes to my order, the staff at American Factory Direct have been friendly, professional, knowledgeable and helpful beyond what I ever expected. My salesperson, Anne helped me pick out beautiful pieces for my new home. She made it fun and helped coordinate each room. She has also kept me updated on dates of availability, ensuring me that my items would be delivered on time. Derek, the manager made sure I received the best discounts offered. Beverly, in the business office, answered any and all questions in regards to my change orders, payment, delivery and availability.During these frustrating times due to COVID-19, the staff at AFD are working harder than ever to make sure they are providing excellent customer service. I’ve recommended them to so many people because of my positive experience!
Looking around the store, we felt a lot of items were way overpriced. We decided to go with them based solely on the fact that they told us our furniture would be in by the end of August when everywhere else was saying mid to late September and we didn’t want to go without a couch that long. Two weeks after our eta date we still don’t have furniture and they’re now quoting 3 weeks after the original date. This puts them in the same boat as the other furniture stores in the area now, where I would get a better deal for a cheaper price. The communication here is lacking.
I was truly surprised by all of the beautiful pieces of furniture in the store. The selection was fabulous. The quality is great too! Ryan was so helpful in my search for the perfect bedroom set. He really listened to me and was able to really hone in on my style. He made great use of our time and even showed me fun accessories for my bedroom! If your looking to buy furniture take your business elsewhere. The Long Beach location took a 25% down payment to hold furniture that was in stock for us. They called to inform me several weeks later that if I did not pay immediately my order would be “cannibalized”. I called back with payment in hand to secure my order (within 3 hours of message) and part of my order had already been “cannibalized”. Not a good place to do business with.
We had a great experience with Lauren at the Long Beach store. She was very helpful and we found the exact piece we were looking for. Delivery was excellent and we are very happy with the beautiful cabinet we purchased.
Sue was great. She allowed us to shop peacefully yet was nearby to answer any questions and make useful suggestions. She asked good questions and listened fully to our answers.
This business does not tell their customers the truth. My fiance and I ordered two couches on July 6, 2020 with an expected delivery date of the end of July or the first week of August. At the end of July, with no furniture delivered, we called back only to be told that our order had been pushed back to August 10. We called back today and were told that the order had been pushed back again to three weeks out. The salesperson had told us that our furniture was in stock at the Covington warehouse and we should have no problem with delivery. When I called the manager Derrick was not available. I was told he was on a conference call, this was 11 am. I was also told that he would call back immediately after lunch. I waited until 2:00 and called back. I was told he was still on a conference call. NO ONE is on a conference call for over three hours! Finally, at 2:30 he called back with the bad news. DO NOT do business with these people. I guess they expect you to sit on the floor for two or three months while they get their act together. We should not have been told that the furniture was in stock if it was not. I will NEVER do business with this company again and will recommend to my friends and family that they conduct their business elsewhere. Poor customer service, no communication and lack of concern. Their middle name is pass the buck to someone else. I would have given them zero stars but couldnt post the review without giving them at least one. That is one more than they deserve.UPDATE August 11 2020I hope that the owner reads this review as they responded to my last critique. I contacted Don trying to work out this situation. He offered to deliver me a set with a couch and love seat, not two couches that I originally purchased. These were FLOOR MODELS! His solution was to offer me a smaller piece of furniture, not new (floor model) and knock off a little over a hundred dollars. These people are CLOWNS! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM! If, as the owner, you are reading this update, I would suggest that you hire new management as they obviously dont know what they are doing.UPDATE September 1 2020Just an update to my previous reviews. Don, the general manager, never returned my phone call from August 11, 2020. My fiance and I went to Rooms to Go in Gulfport and picked out furniture that was delivered in five days. They had a tracking app which let us know exactly when our furniture would be delivered. The delivery men were professional and courteous. My suggestion would be that if you are interested in working with a business that actually CARES about their customers, that you go to Rooms to Go and deal with them. The prices are comparable and they respond to your phone calls and questions.

This store is absolutely wonderful! They have a wide variety of items from high - medium end furniture and even really great bargain pieces with a designer flair. So I’m not sure why people feel the need to say it’s only expensive things! I came in looking for a upholstered bed and they have queen and king upholstered beds under $300.00!!! I was thrilled at the bargain and how great it looked too! They have an on staff designer who helped me decide and that was a great added bonus! The manager and all the sales people and support staff are amazing as we’ll! You won’t find another store this great on the coast! I will definitely be back to purchase more in the future!!!
I needed to furnish my newly built beach house. Kelly and Trevor at American Factory Direct Furniture Outlet Long Beach spent an enormous amount of time finding the perfect pieces. Trevor created a computer image of my floor plan and carefully placed the furniture to show how it would look. Kelly and Trevor worked together to help me with the right fabrics and colors. Then Wayne, the owner, worked to give us the best pricing. He treated us like family. My new home is going to be gorgeous thanks to Kelly and Trevor. Thank you so much!!
I wish I had something good to say about American Factory Direct but we bought two new bedroom sets from them paid almost $10,000 and they come out to deliver it and 5 things was broken and damaged so we have been calling for a week trying to get our money back well they tell us today they dont do that they will repair or replace it but have been extremely rude about it especially Beverly that works there at the long beach,ms one we even tried getting in touch with Susie the one who was our sales person and she wouldnt even return our phone calls or texts and this is not the first time we have had trouble with this places we didnt go in there for 10 years and decided to give them another shot after our house burnt down in November boy was that a mistake I will never give them another dollar.

Poor Quality wasn’t the color of the dresser on the floor when it was delivered we laid some stuff on top and the finish came off they repaired it and the finish still comes off will not buy anything from them again
Bought a bedroom set with bed and nightstands. Everything looks great, but the bed is missing hardware on one of the sides. This means the bed could not be assembled. Called to let them know that I was missing hardware on the bed and was directed to the warranty section of the website. The slats that are meant to support the mattress are cheaply made and fall apart.Update: Sides were replaced per the warranty. The bed looks great, but still not using the slats delivered with the bed. I appreciate the effort placed on fixing the mistake. It only took one business day to get in touch with me and another four to get what I needed.

She introduced herself then we were able to browse the store without feeling like we were being pressured or smothered in any way. The decision we made quickly changed after finding the perfect piece for our home. Ms. Rita and the other crew members made our first experience at American Factory Direct a pleasant one and we will for sure return when we are ready to add to our home.

Amber, our sales clerk, was awesome. She allowed us to wander through the store without following us around. But she was present for questions and got us the best deal on a leather set of furniture. Delivery was a little slow, but its because so many people think theyre awesome.

My experience at American Factory Direct was very pleasant. Mrs. Rita was very knowledgeable and extremely personable. Everything about the transaction went smooth, and I will continue to buy quality furniture here.

What a great experience! My salesperson, Rhonda, worked very hard to get me the furniture I wanted at a great price. Wayne, the GM, was also involved. A real gentleman and a strong advocate of customer service. Then th theres the delivery team. They were on time and worked very hard to get things just like I wanted them. I thought they were done, wrong. They proceeded to put together my barstools. I was flabbergasted. These two young men were very professional and went above and beyond anything I was expecting or had received from any other company in the past. Five stars doesnt really tell the whole story about American Factory Direct Furniture. Do yourself a favor and take the short drive to their showroom, meet the staff, and see first-hand what quality and service really mean.
I love this store!!! Everyone here is so nice and helpful. I worked with Trevor Childs the Designer at the store to find a really durable fabric since I can tend to spill coffee and sometimes wine when I use my furniture. He has so much knowledge and was so gracious. He suggested something that was gorgeous and stain resistant. The manager Wayne a true southern gentleman was great too and made us feel so welcome and special. They were so busy and short staffed when we visited but they definitely made up for it. The manufacturer had a delay on our sofa but AFD more than made up for it by keeping us informed through the entire thing. I highly recommend this place, there is no where else on the entire coast that can provide what they do and the store is SO PRETTY!

This is a great place to shop! Prices are great and they are very compassionate and caring for you amd/or your families needs. DB is a great sales woman and represents ADF in a great professional manner. She is awesome! She is very attentive to your needs and what you are trying to accomplish. Mr. Wayne is also wonderful to work with. They are very caring people! Come shop here for all your furniture needs!

We stopped at American Factory Direct on a whim looking primarily for barstools. Upon entering we were greeted by Trevor. He was professional and courteous. He allowed us to browse at our leisure, but periodically checked with us asking if we had any questions. We purchased barstools, two lamps, and a throw for our bed. Our experience was the most positive we’ve ever experienced while buying furniture. We will return.
I went to the store a couple years ago and looked around. Im very specific on my tastes, and the salesman told me I wouldnt find anything, because they only sold high end furniture. I thought I would give them another try last week. I wanted a to know if they had a Flexsteel sectional that was on their website, and what the price was The person I spoke to, said they would have to call me back. That was a week ago, never heard back. I guess Im still not the correct class of people for them.
