Scheduled appointments for covid vaccine for elderly grandparents 2 weeks out. Got a cancellation message 10 mins before getting there. No one picked up the phone or rescheduled or provided any info. How does a pharmacy cancel on 82 year old patients with no notice or alternative? Awful

Made appointment for my wife to get vaccine and had to wait over an hour for the shot.

The female pharmacist with brown hair is very rude and so are some of the staff. I am a nurse and I would NEVER treat a patient the way they do. Not all of the staff are rude however they need to be more compassionate with their patrons. I guarantee if they had a survey for their patrons to fill out just like our patients do at the hospital..they would get very low scores and maybe then they would change their ways. I have complained to management without any luck.
The store is part of a chain - and a dysfunctional part. The place is well stocked and the prices are in line with other chains but... they have a staff that is indifferent at best and rude and condescending a lot of the time. I no longer use them and would rather shop where my business was wanted.
Worst pharmacy ever. Please never go on Sunday, the older man working is rude, disrespectful and does not know how to read prescription to be filled properly. After, I had to read the prescription he gave me attitude. I asked to discontinue refilling my prescription and they continue to do so. I have to call them all the time to cancel, so I can fill it at the new pharmacy I am using.
There is always a problem trying to fill a prescription at this writing. Ill give you an example last month my doctor had changed my medication dose I want to fill the prescription and the pharmacist had no idea what happened what to do for was he even and the least the bit willing to try and call the insurance company and fix the problem. I had to call my doctor Relentlessly to find out what the problem was.Keep in mind this is usually the older man that works at night he has a blemish on his face.So here we go a month later I go to fill my prescription and they say you have a 15 day supply your prescription was filled on 12/4. I said this was impossible and I have the prescription right here at my house and Ill bring it to you and Ill show you what date it was filled. So after getting nowhere on the phone obviously I went into the store and I spoke to the pharmacist that was working I think she was a fillin but she was nice she was polite and she had found that what happened I filled my prescription on November 22nd someone in the pharmacy scanned it as if I filled it December 4th so it is showing that I still have a 15 day supply of medication which is obviously not true so she left a detailed letter supposedly for the pharmacist the Next day. So after work yesterday Friday I stopped in just to see what was going on and whos working yet the usual suspects the very rude elderly man with the blemish on his face. He did not talk to me but when he did talk to me hed started screaming at me he started call me a drug addict he started saying fill your medication somewhere else while mind you I cant fill this medication somewhere else because if I take this prescription somewhere else they will see it as filled December 4th and they will have no idea what to do nor how to fix it. The man got upset started foaming out of his mouth started getting loud and very abusive with his language telling me get out get out treating me like I was robbing the place. This guy needs to go obviously theres a problem if you look at the reviews underneath mine and theyre all saying the same thing you cant treat your customers like this its not right if you cannot fulfill the oath you took to be a pharmacist and then you have prejudice when you make a mistake you dont belong being a pharmacist OK there is no excuse there is not take your pharmacy or your prescription somewhere else. No your job is the fix it and treat the patient like a patient not like a secondary citizen or a drug addict because of a mistake that is made on your end please I suggest you do a purge of 50% of the people working at the pharmacy..I have to wait until sunday when the manager is there to see if he/she will fix it.Mind you due to this mistake this is showing In all the computers in PMP that it was filled on 12/4When it was filled on 11/22. This is not right.. Why must we do the pharmacists job for them. When they make a mistake they will call you a drug addict. Judge you on the medications you take etc and say you are abusing your medication..Is this the line in the script in case of negligence and screwups in the pharmacy..?I will say it is a few bad apples.. The older man with the blemish on his face and the Asian lady who is a pharmacist assistant.. When you talk to her she has no idea what you are talking about, how to fill a prescription etc.. She has no idea what she is doing. She is totally incompetent and when she is confused will totally ignore you.. This team together is the worst.. If they are working together and there is a problem dont expect it to be fixed..
If I could give this pharmacy 0 stars I would. I only came here bc they had what I needed in stock. I called ahead to make sure it was there, and when I get there, they tell me they can’t find it, and that the pharmacist moved it and he already left. I literally had to look myself from behind the counter and point to the prescription I needed. Being on the phone with the staff is beyond rude, and extremely unhelpful. I was asked for my address, and when I went to spell it out, just to be helpful, was told “I know how to spell it” with an attitude. They lost my prescription, and then bounced me to 3 different people, just for me to give them the same information. Was told by one associate that I could check coverage on my prescription when the non floating pharmacist was there, bc apparently only one pharmacist can do that. Only to be told weeks later that it wasn’t covered by other people working there. Who knows who I was talking to as no one identified themselves. Stick to cvs or Walgreens and skip the attitudes here. Read the recent reviews because they are 100% spot on.
Disgusting attitude from the woman pharmacist. Management should be ashamed of themselves. Absolutely never giving this location my money ever again.
The website said the pharmacy closes at 8 pm. I specifically left later knowing it would be open. When I got there at 7 pm, I was told the pharmacy closes at 5 PM on Sundays. And I didnt get to get my medicine because their website was incorrect.
Rude people, just skip this location. The pharmacist, blonde male with glasses is the rudest person in the world, he should get fire. This place needs a clean up and starts fresh with nice people without bad attitude.
They had what I needed and what I wanted ? Exactly when I needed it, with absolutely no waiting time. The longest I had to wait for something was overnight and that was only because the Medical supply company closed at 4:09 PM. They are Twenty four hour store. So the weight was not on them!!!
Rude, slow, inefficient, incompetent staff. Worst pharmacy. Horrible. HORRIBLE.
Never use this rite aid. Always crack heads drunk or high in and outside this store.not safe! Police dont do anything to correct this problem. Anytime of the day its the same!!!

Next to a supermarket and the LIRR is not a good location for this type of store . It looks like its going out of business with the too few, rude and inattentive staff . When they are busy there is always a long and slow moving line at checkout
