Performance plus tires has been awesome. Came in to get a tune up for my bmw 535i by junior. Did a great job. Shopped around for prices, and it was cheaper than every other mechanic. Surprising since this is a very professional shop..had to leave my car here overnight due to having trouble with my tight spark plugs. So Louie here accommodated me with a rental car from enterprise!!! Had me picked up by enterprise, with a complimentary rental...I have never experienced a mechanic as professional and friendly as Performance plus tires.. I will be coming here from this day forward. Purchased some Coker Premium Sportway 520 x 13 for a lowrider show car. The white walls turned brown after 2 months. I called Coker since this was a product issue. Coker instructed me to handle it with Performance Plus. A simple exchange. I called Performance Plus before showing up in person to make sure they had them in stock and not waste a trip. Andy assisted me in person. Andy alleged they did not have any in stock to process exchange. They promised a call back. I have confirmed several times they have the tires in stock. However, they are playing opossum and refuse to exchange even thou Coker is. Andy even pretended to not hear me on the phone as if there was a connection issue.

My husband & I ordered wheels from this company through Amazon. While Amazon has been very supportive through the process, Performance Plus Tires has not. We ordered his wheels on April 12. They were supposed to be delivered at the latest April 23. After emailing & calling Performance Plus Tires, they told us there was nothing they can do because the wheels were already shipped & on the FedEx truck. We found out today that was a LIE. The wheels never went on the FedEx truck because they never had them in stock. Now we’re getting the run around about getting a refund. We spent almost $600 on these wheels & now we don’t have wheels or our money back. Our jobs have been depending on the arrival of these wheels. Worse experience ever.

Used their website which implies estimates can be provided and asked for estimates for rear shock/strut replacement and a brake fluid change. (Neither of which are atypical services)Louie responded that I needed to bring the car in so they could provide an estimate.... so why the website offer? I left a VM asking if there was a charge for them to look at the car. No response. I texted asking if there was a charge. Louie responds “we open at 8:00, let me know when you get here”, nothing about a service charge. So I text again: “is there a charge for the “inspection”? I decide to drive over and noticed at 8:45 that Louie sent a text at 7:45 am: “We charge $40 for the inspection”. I show up at +/-9:00, ask for Louie, who tells me it’s about 1-1/2 hours until they could check the car......Waste of time.I’ve been coming to Performance for over 25 years and will likely return for tires but definitely not for any other services.Steve W

I ordered a set of wheels from these guys off their eBay page, and theyve certainly gained a forever customer out of me. Wheels arrived to my shop from Fedex and whoever delivered that day, was clearly having a bad day, cause all 4 of my wheels had severe shipping damage. I contacted Performance Plus and I have to say, their customer service is second to none. They had all 4 wheels picked up the next day and had another set of wheels to me in THREE days! Im a big believer in not judging a company by what they do good when things are going good, but by how they react when things go bad. And hands down, these are the types of guys you want to work with. Buy and order with confidence! Great company and customer service!

I took my third Ford 150 there over the last 18 years. For my latest 2016 150, they put a leveling kit on it along with some bigger tires. They worked with me to get the right tire size and fit them on my stock rims. Louie and Andy were great.

I randomly called here and Brian helped meFind The right tires to match the rims that I had already picked out. He was able to get both rims and tires for me the next day so I came in and ended up changing the tires last minute. The manager helped look at the tires go in there the same day I had to wait a little while but it was very pleasant in the air-conditioned waiting room and they were even passing out cold waters. Everyone there seems like they’re very passionate about what they do and very customer service oriented I would highly recommend them and go back again I love my new rims!

Having bought tires here and a level kit installed on my truck, this was the neighborhood go-to. Unfortunately, the last time I went to them and had a set of tires put on my wifes highlander, they did not balance the tires. We took it back and they fixed it, but wouldnt admit they failed to properly install the tires the first time. They told me the tires had to be remounted and balanced, but stated that they didnt believe that they could have missed that on the install. No offer of discount or compensation for our time to fix their mistake. That doesnt sit well with me.

We have had great service every time we have been there. They also have great prices and have always had everything in stock plus. We’ve had them set up our 34 street rod with wheels and tires and had them completely rebuild our front and back brakes.

Thought I was in good hands and was referred to these guys by another buisness. It’s been almost 4 weeks and I still have not got the parts I’ve ordered. Ive been told it will be here tomorrow a few times now. I’ve been waiting to takeoff for the east coast and put Off almost 2 weeks and I just had to take off. I have a disassembled air compressor in my back seat for the last couple weeks cause it was placed in a place that had to be moved for other gear that I had to install for the same purpose I bought these airbags. I wanted all 6 tires changed as well but the service has me nervous to do anything else with these guys. Luckily I came in While they were installing my airbags. I came in cause I had called walked in a couple times trying to get a part number to make sure it was the model I was looking for. When I saw the truck up on the lift was when I noticed it was wrong. They had my truck 4 days and gave it back incomplete. They had to order a part with has been two weeks and still nothing. I had to just take off with my truck incomplete to the east coast. I tried to be understanding and take what they said to me to be the truth but now I don’t know. I called today with my final straw. I agreed to just have the part shipped to me on the road and I’d have someone else install. No call no nothing. Called today 4 weeks since this all started and I got apologies and that they would text me so I could send them a address to get it to me. Waited all day and nothing. This is a joke. Waist of time.

Came in today with a flat tire. Was told by another tire shop that my tire could not be patched; that I had to replace the tire. I had already ordered a new tire to be installed.When I got to the shop I asked the attendant to please double check my tire to verify it needed replacement they did. Long story short...they patched the tire for $25.00 and saved me $75.00!If you want tires these are the guys to come to they are worth the drive from Orange County!Thanks again Performance Plus!

I ordered wheels, centers and lugs. Got the centers and lugs fast. But the wheels which I ordered first came last. I called they said their supplier was doing inventory. They switched to another supplier and I got one wheel. I called again and two days later I got the other three wheels. Ordered on Sept. 15th. Got wheels on Oct. 9. Not good was very disappointed with how the delivery was handled. If I had not called I would still be waiting in wheels

While they didnt have the tires in stock that were on the website, the customer service on a surprisingly busy Monday afternoon was top notch. That, and I needed 4 new tires instead of two because of the difference between tread. But they patched up a HUGE screw hole, they got a sale now, and unless I find a crazy deal elsewhere, Ill bring my car here.

The best out the door price on four tires of good quality. Good mounting job on tires after install they tighten them up with air rachet tool and then use a torque wrench to spec. Also added some nice chrome caps with green tip for helium filled tires

They sent me tires that were made almost 3 years ago. That means that the tires will be good only for 2-3 more years. I bought these tires for a classic vehicle that gets very few miles. I did not pay top dollar to get tires that have less than half their life left. Not happy with them at all.Update: I called them and they are formulating what to do about this. They say that tires are new up to 3 years old. I do not agree but they may have me return them. They say that the tires came direct from the manufacturers warehouse. Not sure why tires a tire that only had 4 of them in the entire US would be this old.2nd Update: Howard the sales Manager from TN called and wanted to make things right and is going to replace the tires with newer ones of my choice. Very impressed by his helpfulness. Much better than my first phone call. Thank you Howard.

Great customer service and pricing!

Sent two tires back for a refund and they gave me 30.00 back for a purchase of 180.00. I wanted to reorder the correct tires but this company doesnt seem to want to refund brand new tires which were never put on and in perfect condition. Never purchasing anything from them again, too bad because I purchase a lot of tires. We asked for an itemized bill showing exact charges, and now they are ignoring us. unethical practice!

Changing my review. I just got tires at a different shop. No one has touched my tires and wheels since I went to Performance Plus over 3 years ago. I had 2 cross-threaded bolts and they lost one of my lugs and replaced it with a nut that rusted and took a third bolt with it. Overall the damage was about $100. Tires were inexpensive.

I have seen some low reviews about this place, and Im sure everyone has a bad day every once in a while, but I have had multiple great experiences with this place. I have ordered online and through Ebay and have never had a problem. I have even had to request order cancellations and was not given a run around or any B.S., just a fast polite reply and an immediate refund.I personally have no problems with these guys, and when you catch stuff on special price, it seems like its too good to be true! However, like I said, I havent had a single problem and I will continue to use them in the future.

9/9/2020 I took my Chevy Silverado to Performance plus to install 2” drop springs at 8:40 a.m. and at 3:20 p.m. they called me let me know they couldn’t do it because I needed ball joints and bushings in order to do the alignment, I told them to still do it but then I just said forget it and do my spark plugs so I wait an hour and call and he tells me I have to get plug wire too because the wire come off sometimes so I then picked truck up an had a miss fire due to Performance already messing up one plug wire up. I ended up doing it myself. The. Weird thing is I just went a week before to have rear shackles installed and it went great so was confused. Invoice No. 114-596898

First I want to say louie is the best. Hes very informative about wheels and tires..I wanted to get beefier tires for my 7series. He check his catalogs out and explain and showed that it wasnt going to fit and had chances on rubbing. At the end I had 285 30 and I was able to.change them to 285 35 with no problem. Very happy with service oh and did I mention BEST PRICES IN TOWN !!!

The guys at this shop are very courteous and helpful. It is not always easy being a female in a tire shop but these guys were super nice. There was space for my son to bounce around while we waited and a pot of coffee to drink. Businesses in Long Beach dont always have space to park but this place does. They have a giant screen in the shop that allows you to see a picture of your car with different rims on it which amused my son for quite some time. While waiting we could overhear the guys interacting with customers like they were friends and that is amazing. Ive got tires and had tires fixed here a few times now but this was our first time waiting at the shop instead of coming back when finished. We will keep coming back.

Update...local manager called me an assured me he will take care of my order. He did a good job of explaining and de-escalating the situation. I placed an order 2 months ago for ET flat plates. I have waited patiently. I now have called multiple times and the reps say let me research this and call you back. Obviously they never call back.Today I call and the rep told me that they dont sell accessories anymore and that it only let me order since their website is outdated. The only way he would sell them to me is if I bought the wheels with the accessories. Ironically, I just placed an order for a set of rocket wheels, i already hadt ET wheels. I asked to speak to a supervisor. He said he is on the phone and out to lunch... he will call me back. Im guessing like the times before I wont get that call back. Rep also stated he wasnt going to explain how their customer service works to me. Shew, terrible customer service.

After going to Americas tire in Torrance for most of tires I decided to give Performance Plus Tire and Automotive Superstore Long Beach after getting a great tire price quote for my 2013 Honda Civic from my dad who also got tires on the same day! Wrong wheels, tires were old stock, they didnt want to correct their mistake nor honor the price, and instead blamed their suppliers. Their prices are low for a reason - its old supply or the classic bait and switch. When you ask for their help, they give you the old, weve been in business for 49 years story. I guess thats why their tires are old as well. I found another supplier and will order all wheel sets from someone else. Do your own research and make your own decision.

I did not know about this place until I was researching for new tires over the internet, I found this great deal on the tires I need on their web site, I just ordered a set of Mastercraft AXT tires for my GMC Sierra pick up truck and hope to receive them over the next few days, I will review my experience once the tires arrive and will rate how it went, as for now I am satisfied with my experience so far, lets see how it goes...UPDATE: I called to check the order status the following day I placed my order and was told that someone was going to call me to inform that the tire I had ordered was out of stock and possibly had been discontinued, which was a pity, this person, who is in TN, offered to replace the tires with another brand at a similar price and quality or to just cancel the order, I was dubious but I listened to his offer, the tires he offered were a bit pricey but also a good brand, according to reviews, since I am on a budget I told him that I would think about it and call him back with a decision, later in the afternoon I received a call, just like I was told by the man in TN, to be informed about the tires I had ordered being out of stock but also to be offered another tire of much better quality and name at the same price I had already paid for the original set, this was great news and made me really happy, the man said that they wanted me to have a good buying experience and that they wanted to make things right since they did not have the tires I wanted and paid for, I am waiting for the new set of tires to arrive, which should be arriving today, I will update my review once I get the tires and also will rate how it all goes, once again, I am very satisfied so far...P.D.
