Amazing customer service!! I arrived without an appointment…with a slow leak in one of my tires. I was greeted with a smile by Bernard…and I was out the door in under 10 minutes…with a FREE plug. Bernard did not charge me…only suggested that I leave a tip for the mechanic. Can’t recommend them enough! TY!!

Mavis Tire is my go-to place for replacement tires, plugs and quick air fill ups. Never a charge or fee for the air, and fair pricing for the other services. Quick services too. As a woman entering a tire shop, i feel confident i will be treated fairly, professionally and respectfully. This applies to both the Long Beach and the Island Park Mavis locations.

Love this place. Awesome friendly staff, super helpful + accommodates as quickly as possible. Came in today with a flat tire, needing an oil change, and a replacement bulb for a light and they took care of me right away. Of the multiple competitors in the near vicinity, this shop is the best!

Stopped by with a nailIn my tire and Bernard was amazing. He fixed it very quickly and even showed me where the mail was located!!!

I took my son 2021 Hyundai Elantra to this place for its 1st oil change on 10/27/21 just before 5pm. Bernard stated I could come in as a walk-in. We paid $96 for a basic oil change and filter. I thought this was outlandish! However, we paid.On 10/28/21, which is a little before 24 hours, between 330pm- 9pm the following lights came on:CHECK ENGINEOILEXPLANATION POINT LIGHTESC LIGHTThen, the car cut off while he was driving. This was an extremely scary moment. I am currently waiting for Triple-A to come and get the vehicle and tow it back to Mavis and then make it home. It is currently 1:43 a.m. in the morning, Approximately 24 hours from the time we received the oil change.While waiting for AAA, we checked the oil and took a picture, we literally had no oil in it at all!!!! I cant wait until they open up in the Morning.UPDATE 10/29/21:At 8:07am Bernard from Mavis confirmed there was NO OIL in the car!!!! Unreal, they did not put the screw back on!!!! I need to receive a full refund and reimbursement for my tow at 3am in the morning!!! This COULD have destroyed my car if Hyundai didnt have a protective measure in place.UPDATE 10/30/21:As of today, the engine was confirmed to be seized by Mavis staff Due to lack of oil. Yes! The engine is Shot!!! Jamal, the store manager, quickly rectified this horrible experience.Jamal worked swiftly and was able to get an approval from corporate to replace the engine immediately, free of charge. We have a lease on this vehicle so they needed to make sure it passes lease inspection. Jamal was also able to get an approval for a rental car for the entire time the car is being fixed starting Monday, free of charge. Lastly, because the rental would not be ready until 11/1/21 and my son drives to school, Jamal is going to cover the uber to and from school!I have to say I am EXTREMELY impressed by Jamals professionalism, his quick rectification and his consideration for all the moving pieces. Although, this initial horrible experience happened, I would STILL use Mavis of Long Beach because mistakes happen, but not all places resolve the issues like this place! Thank you Jamal, I couldnt ask for a better manager to handle my problem.

They ordered my tire and pushed to get my car in after I explained it had a bubble from hitting a pothole and I was nervous driving it! Mavis Discount Tire has always been my go to for tire repair. They are incredibly convenient, only an hour and a half between dropping off my car and getting the call that it is ready for pick up (compared to other places which take ALL DAY). Harry, in particular was helpful and knowledgeable about the needs of my vehicle. 5 stars!

Harry and Corey were a great help when I needed a new set of tires on short notice. Professional and speedy. Took great caution to be socially distant, wearing masks and covering the drivers seat in plastic so as not to get it dirty or potentially contaminated. Would definitely work w them again.

Waited for a tire for over a week, while paying for a rental car. They never called with the status of the ordered tire, I called 4-5 times asking when the tire will come in, “we’ll call you back” they never did. I finally called another tire store (not mavis) and the tire will get done within 24 hours. Over 600$$ in rental fees. This is not the way to do business and stay in business.

Very good customer service.. they acknowledge you as soon as you come in. Harry was very kind and professional. As well as knowledgeable and had an answer for all mh questions. As a female i value not being swindled by mechanics..I will do all my vehicle service here.
