I grew up going to this market for all my favorite Thai treats and necessities. The owners are so sweet and helpful if you have any questions. Make sure to stop by anytime youre in the area and have some cravings. Dont worry about dropping by if you are just curious or if you dont speak Thai as theyre welcoming to everyone. 😁

Had everything I needed, plus staff helped me find it all quickly. Should have made this spot my first stop for Thai cooking. Easy drive out from the South Bay on a Sunday too with no traffic. Fresh lemongrass, too.

Its always great it was the first time Id been there for a while I have other shop for me because I have problems but theyve been out of my Tasters Choice French roast coffee and I was looking for it couldnt find it again and my favorite garlic is out as well so they also didnt have my Natures Bounty fish oil supplement limit I had to pay for it

These folks ROCK! Want to scald your mouth with authentic fresh Peppers? You know, the actual fruit that produces the capsicum of the nightshade family Solanaceae? Seems we Caucasians take the essence of whats good and concentrate on how much we can blister our senses. No need, really. These folks have REAL ingredients that provide the natural high while retaining ALL the flavors. Wow! Check em out!

Tried the Casi leak, pad Thai, and pad eke Mao. Pad eke Mao was spicier than most Ive tried in NYC. they all tasted good, esp the Casi leak. the portions arent too bad either.

Highly recommend if you are just getting started with Thai cooking. As other reviewers have said, the owners are very welcoming. I was greeted as soon as I walked in and asked if I needed help. I showed my recipe list to them and they gathered up everything I needed. In addition to the Thai-specific ingredients like ganganal, lemongrass and red curry paste, I bought shrimp there and it was the freshest smelling and tasting I have ever found (with one downside: not deveined, so some extra work). Easy parking on a weekday mid-afternoon.

After trying to find curry paste at 3 different regular grocery stores I did the modern thing and Googled to find a Thai grocer. Lo and behold, theres one in walking distance from my house.Its amazing how we fail to see things right in front of our faces...Its a tiny little store but if youre cooking Thai its a safe bet theyve got what you want. The owner helped me right to the items I was looking for and I was honestly glad I didnt just order the stuff from Amazon. Glad to support our local mom & pop retailers!

Its a mom and pop grocery store that sells traditional Thai ingredients. The family that runs it is very helpful and seem to have a passion for introducing patrons to new ingredients. The store is clean, organized, and items are reasonably priced. Their selection of Thai ingredients is one of the best Ive seen.

This Thai mini market in North Long Beach is husband and wife owned, they are beyond friendly and appreciates their customers. I will go here before going to any big market stores. Their prices are fair and true to the thai culture. They also carry prepared thai dishes made from their vendors & or restaurants. Highly recommended for your Asian shopping needs.

If you wanna eat papaya salad, come here and go to the meat department and whisper to her that I want delicious papaya salad, then you will get it. REMEMBER!! Whispering only.

Great corner market for Thai staples. Ask the owners if you have a recipe you want to try out, the older gentleman will offer advice on cooking techniques. I stop here for curry ingredients, rice noodles, Thai basil and seasonings.

If you have a craving for Thai noodles, need some delicious Thai tea, or need a big bottle of fish sauce, this store is the place to BE! The folks that work here are very nice and helpful.

My new go to for Thai and asian food supplies. So many options and the staff/owner was SUPER helpful. He gave me the information I needed to modify a dish and it was absolutely amazing! I will be a regular customer. It can be easy to miss as its address is Cherry but the entrance is on Hungerford St. Watch out I may just be the next Thai Iron Chef! LOL!!

I went to this shop today near my house & usually I go to the Island Pacific store in Bixby Knolls but Im in love with this store. It might not have every food from Asia but the store makes it feel like youre still at home ✌🏽💕✨

Walmart didnt have everything I needed to make Pho. This place had everything I needed pulse everything I did get at Wal-Mart I bought anyway because they were better. The owner is very nice and helpful.

This place is great. The owners are such nice people.

My mom use to go to this market every week and shes been going here for a few month since she is staying in the area. Last week she went in and it was the owners wife who was working in the store. My mom bought 6 packets of different frozen food. One of the packets was spoiled, it was completely thawed, sticky and smell bad. She took the packet back to the store to show the owners wife that they might have gotten a bad batch in. The owners wife started screaming at my mom trying to humiliate her in front of the other people in the store. She was screaming that my mom is a liar and a cheat. My mom didnt even ask for any money back, she just wanted to give them a heads up. My mom usually deals with the owner and his son who are both very nice and helpful but after this incident she is taking her business to another store.

The market offers wide varieties of Thai and Laos items. Their customer service was simply outstanding. A+!!!

Wide selection and friendly employees, but I ended up purchasing two items that, sadly, were way off and expired and inedible. They need to take better stock of what they have and throw away the old stuff.
