Always fished with bait casters and spinning reels. Just began fly fishing, came in a few times to talk through what Id need and how to get started. The support and knowledge from the team here is unbeatable. The guys were more than willing to work with me, advise me, and even teach me a few things. Very excited to get into fly fishing with Orvis as my main choice.

What many overlook when buying fly fishing gear is that someday you may need to talk to customer service. The customer service that Orvis puts behind their products is unbeatable. I had one small issue with an item, and in a matter of minutes the staff at the Yorktown Orvis put a quality product in my hands and a smile on my face.

The staff is very accommodating, pleasant and helpful with any questions you may have, but they never pressures you.I was in one weekend looking at a coat and came in the next week and they remembered me and joked that it might be the most researched coat.Looking forward to taking some fly fishing classes this spring through them.

Went to fly tying 101 class today! Had a great time and learned alot. All of the instructors were great, knowledgable, and super helpful. Everytime I go hear I receive the best service! Highly recommend

Great place, Zeph is super knowledgeable but all their staff are. Their fly fishing 101 course is awesome, great instructors they really help work on your casting mechanics.

I just discovered it a month or so ago and have to say, I love this store. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable & very helpful. Zeph, Dom & the other guys name escapes me(sorry bud) have been outstanding. Between fly choices, setup tips, local spots or just helping me tweak a setup I bought from another retailer, I have left the store happy each visit. (And Ive been killing it on the rivers/ponds lately too!) If youre into fly fishing or are looking for outdoor apparel, definitely give this place a look.
