Spreen Honda sent me a quote for a new car and I went into their location to purchase. They then added $5,605 in dealer added equipment costs to the quote on dealer equipment I didnt want (The dealer equipment wasnt even installed on the car). We end walking out of the dealership.Update: the owner reached out to get some additional information, but did not leave a way to contact them.Note: We had bought a car from them before and the purchase process was flawless. I guess things have changed at Spreen.
When this pandemic is all over and dealers get desperate to sell cars again, remember that Spreen Honda is one of those dealerships that took advantage of people during hard times. Im noticing people with the same stories over and over about this place and I thought I was the only one.Internet sales quoted basically MSRP over the phone. Then when you get there, the Kid that they sent over to help me says, No, thats not the price...this is our price. Literally $10,000 over MSRP!After I leave, internet sales had the nerve to ask why I walked out and I told her, Im not paying 31k for a 20k civic, and I rather pay 46k MSRP for my Lexus I just bought instead. After hearing that I already got another car, she just said okay good bye.

I wish I could give 0 stars.My vehicle was returned to me after the last service with no windshield washer fluid. Washer fluid is not essential to vehicle operation, however if they did a full inspection and fluid top off as advertised, and one fluid was not topped off or even checked, it wouldnt be a stretch to think something else was missed that may affect operation later. I am sure they will take no responsibility if this were to occur.As far as sales, I actually spoke to two people about buying back my vehicle which is in its last year of its lease. I was told they wanted my vehicle and were having a huge buyback event because of the shortage of vehicles available due to COVID and chip shortage. They made an appointment for me to come in to get the vehicle appraised for the buyback, however once I got there they told me they didnt buy vehicles back and I shouldnt have been told that. I have text messages and phone calls to prove what was said to me.On a side note, their has been an informal agreement made between car manufacturers that a different maker can not buy back vehicles from another makers due to the vehicle shortage. Toyota wants to buy my Honda, but cannot because its a Honda. I dont see how this does not violate anti-competition laws pertaining to the Antitrust Act.Be informed, and avoid Spreen Honda at all costs.
The one thing I hate doing is trying to negotiate a deal to buy. a new car. We used our credit union with True Car to find the vehicle we were looking for and Spreen Honda had it. When we arrived they pulled up the vehicle for a test drive and all it features. Our salesman Adriane Hernandez did an outstanding job explaining all the bells and whistles, very professional, and the price was the price that was quoted with discounts. Tony in the finance department did a great job as well getting us in and out quickly. We would purchase from them again in the future

Its discouraging when a service that was suppose to take 70 minutes to complete takes 3 hours. The service was: Oil change, rotate tires, check tire pressures and flush braking system. 3 Hours, not a drop in, with an appointment.It would also be helpful if the service representative could keep the customers straight and remember who is whom, but I guess all customers with OUR particular characteristics all look alike.
Went in for service and everything went smoothly and the employees there were friendly. Service was fast and left feeling like my car was brand new again.

Chose to come here to buy my first car because my sister had bought hers from here. From my personal experience I haven’t had the best one. I bought my car in March and I have already had to install a new battery. As well as when I took it to get an oil change I was told I was far overdue for my transmission and brake fluid to be changed. I was told it should be changed every 30k miles and I bought my car at 35k miles and was never told neither were ever changed. As well as my car being sold to me with a dent in the fender and my bumper being different paint on both sides. One being glossy and the other being matte. Unfortunately both of these issues were noticed months after I purchased my vehicle. I have been let down by my experience thus far which has made me rethink my decision to choose Honda.
Was helping my dad buy a car from this Honda dealership. Online quoted price was much less than local dealers so had my dad spend a day driving out to this dealership to put a deposit down for an in transit vehicle. I understand there are mark ups for cars everywhere but wasted a day going out to this dealership after multiple phone calls. At no point over the phone were we told that they are charging $6k over the online quoted price for accessories despite the fact that in their fine print on offer email it stated the price does not include accessories. Common courtesy would have let the customer know the actual and final price they’re paying before they drive hours to come to the dealership. Classic bait and switch technique and ended up purchasing from a local dealership instead. The internet manager and sales people weren’t helpful or understanding at all and seemed like they just cared about the foot traffic. In the market for another couple Honda’s currently for friends and family and will let them know to avoid this dealership as well.Edit: no point in speaking with management already tried to. spoke with Destiny, Cecilia, and Rachel and all gave the same excuse for wasting our time.

They were quick, courteous, and did all the work requested,. I lowered their score because I had an oil change done there. And the inside of my vehicle smelled like burnt oil for 2 days. Also did not get the documentation when they align my tires. But I could tell they had been aligned by the way it drove.
I was greeted immediately when pulling up and getting out of my car.Shortly after, a gentleman took me in to the office to ask me/give me options for my services. It was simple and easy to understand the way he explained each service. He even wrote them down along with the cost so I could make an informed decision. The man was very patience with me because I had used the wrong term for a service and he wanted to confirm what I meant, while making sure I understood what service I would be getting done that day.A few hours later they called me to let me know how my service was going and explained some details on the next steps. It was very helpful.Once I picked up my Car, the gentleman had all the paper work ready for me along with some recommendation on what services I will need once my car hit 90k mileage. This experience was fantastic and I will be going back there for my next service needs.
I went in with my husband to purchase a car we got it under his name our paper plates are expired and Spreen Honda REFUSES to let me as his wife pick up our plates for a car that is mine. I was there when we purchased the car, my husband made it clear he works ALOT he cannot get off work early, he works from 8am-8pm but finance “closes at 5” they never said this and my husband took time off work to go wait for 30 mins at least 3 times. The workers in the front just tell him to take a seat and continue to hang out up front. They have made this difficult for us, instead of mailing us our plates. So much for a “helping hand. I don’t understand why the people that hang out up front can’t check my husbands ID and give him the plates to my car. I don’t understand how this is legal.and no I don’t want to email you manager I would like my plates not that bad response you give all your bad reviews. At least pick up our calls. Thanks.
Called to make an appt for a recall on my car, they had to order the part which was understandable. I was told I would get a call when the part arrived, never got a call. - Bad customer service. Finally took my car in came back home thinking everything was taken care of. Next day I open my back seat door to find the whole back of my center console was taken apart and not put back together. Had to back out of my way to take it to be reinstalled. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.
Everything has went well with my experience at Spreen Honda. I would like them to be more prompt when dropping off my vehicle for service. I had to go down there to see what was going on with my car since no hadnt returned my call.
I had a blow out on the freeway on my new 2021 Honda Accord Hybrid. I called Jim our service manager. Not only did he respond to my call he had a tire ready to replace the one damaged tire. Everything was conducted in a fast mode and the closing was smooth. I want to thank the entire service team plus its great leadership.
They showed 299 per month with taxes for accord, when I visit them they force me to buy extra accessories which cost me $7000.. YES $7000 for the accessories for $24000 car!! After adding accessories it will cost $500+/per monthbad marketing strategy..message for Spreen Honda : Remember this time will gone but these reviews will stay with you forever..

They are showing more discounts in the email but when i came to dealer location they said all of the cars comes with extra packages around 5k and they cannot remove those packages. Please don’t come to this dealership location they are cheating people by providing more discounts on phone or email. It is completely bait. Don’t waste your time.

After owning my 2018 Honda CR-V, the battery needed replacing, so I had Spreen Honda a replace it. What I liked was when they had finished all the bells and whistles had been reset (no hassle resetting them). Not only that I got a very clean car back (they washed it). Some might call it deceptive. I was quoted $26k for a 2021 CRV SE as an internet price, but the fine print said not including dealer add-ons. Fortunately, I called to find how much the dealer add-ons would come to. It turns out the add-ons came to around $7000 (SEVEN THOUSAND DOLLARS). Just know what youre getting into before you make the drive.I bought a Honda Civic there years ago, and the deals were as good the quote, good price, no add-ons. Things have changed.
About 6 weeks ago we dropped off my daughter’s Honda Civic for an oil change and she mentioned her brakes were noisey. The service advisor said they would inspect them. When we returned to pick up the car they told us they inspected the brakes and that they had 70% life left and that the noise was probably just dirt. Last night a brake pad fell out of the driver side front wheel in our driveway . Thank God she wasn’t driving on the freeway when that happened. The pad was completely worn down to the bare metal. Obviously the technician didn’t inspect the brakes, makes me wonder if they actually changed the oil??? We will not be returning.

Don’t bring your car here.I took it in for basic service, routine stuff.I noticed as soon as I got it back the car was shaky on the freeway and my steering wheel is stiff, it gets stuck.I let them know, took it back and they essentially took no responsibility, called it a crazy coincidence and lost one of my hubcaps the second time I got it back.Essentially paid them $600 to screw up my car
I had gotten an oil change here and they didnt even check my tire pressure to see if the tires were low on air (which they were.) I also have a leaking axle boot and I told them to check my axle which they never did. They also never gave me an oil sticker for my next oil change. They never even reset the oil life on my car. Do not go to this dealership for service unless you want to get subpar service.
Very clean waiting area with comfortable chairs and free wifi. I love that they offer free car wash with every service. My car was filthy and it was so nice to see it road ready.

I took my daughters new, used, old car here to have a work up done to establish what needed to be fixed. Josh was our line of communication from day one. He was very helpful in offering different options for repair and payment. I was impressed by quickly the diagnostics were performed and by how concise Josh was about communicating the needs of the car. In summary, I received a great service for an honest price. I think that I can trust our cars with these guys.

Went in for mandatory recall on 2019 Honda Civic, they messed up on my car almost causing me to crash on the freeway when I lost power while driving that same night. Went back next day, supposedly they fixed their issue, drove 30 miles and check engine light came on. Called, they asked me to come back a third time, said would compensate me free gas or oil change. Three days of income missed due to their mistakes.I went back, they supposedly fixed it again, gave ZERO paperwork saying what they fixed this time and didn’t give free gas or oil change as promise, just said “next time you come in”. That wasn’t what you guys said on the phone.Don’t bother replying saying “please message us” to pretend like you care for the public: I filed two complaints via message (I have the case numbers as proof: #12393543 and #12367181) and neither has received a response in THREE WEEKS. My car still randomly stutters while driving ever since they replaced the fuel pump.

Received an online quote from them for $36,284.00 which listed no other dealer accessories of fees. When I arrive to purchase the car they try to add over 8K of aftermarket accessories installment that they said came with the car. Even though the car was still in transit and has not been delivered from the manufactured yet. They didnt think that maybe I would of wanted to know that the the 36K car that they quoted me would actually be 44K before I drove over an hour to their dealership. I mean if it was 1K-2K I probably would of understood but DAMM ... OVER 8K MORE!!! Thats just false advertisement.

Took in my Honda for a weird noise my rear tires, Joshua was very prompt to approach me quickly to get my car serviced. My experience with this dealership was great, my family and I felt welcome by Tom, he was waiting for us already so we didn’t have to wait upon arrival, he showed us the cars that we wanted to see and some that were not in our list without problem every question was answered by him and always willing to keep showing us more cars, great attitude and very friendly. Tom it’s a great sales man always wanting to show you all your requests (colors, interior, prices etc) Tony great attitude and all questions were answered and I like the fact that he explained to us a couple of times everything about the payments with the insurance and without it. Our experience was horrible yesterday. We were outside in the middle of a heatwave no sales person ever came out. We went inside we found a young lady We told her what we were looking for and price range she looked on the computer told us Theres one outside up against the wall sent us out by ourselves we never did find it. We werent even offered any water in a heatwave. We just left went to Toyota on Auto center Dr. We were greeted right when we pulled up given water and we bought a beautiful car. We will never go or recommend Honda spreen. This was June 28th 2021

DO NOT get your car serviced here for anything. Their service techs do not look at anything. They claim to have inspected everything in my car including the car battery. Bettery died 2 weeks later. My husband had his brakes checked here. 2 days later we checked and there was little to no brake pad. They are endangering their clients.
I’ve been coming here since I bought my car in 2018, three years no issues- until today. The advisor- Joshua Kramer was unprofessional and came off as sexist. Keep in mind I am a woman of smaller build and came alone, making it easy to just treat me however he wanted. I came in for a service appointment and was greeted by Joshua laughing at me for not knowing exactly what the maintenance message on my car said (it’s your job to know that, not mine). I proceeded to say that I only wanted an oil change because I get my other services done elsewhere to which he said I was just going to ruin my car- can you just be professional and say okay? I get that they’re supposed to give advice and recommend what they think is best, but do it in a professional way and just take no for an answer without any smart comments. Again, when it was time to sign papers he proceeded to laugh about me declining the other services (which I was getting done elsewhere). Horrible and worst experience I’ve ever encountered, it’s a shame they let their job title get to their head and forget they’re there to actually help people, not make them feel worse.
The customer service was great. No complaints. Very friendly employees.However, I was disappointed that my vehicle was diagnosed by Honda saying that I needed a $2,900 repair. I watched a few videos on YouTube and started to work on my car on my own and all it had was a blown fuse. Once I changed it, the car was perfectly fine. It ended costing me $7.99 for a small fuse. I think the technicians need to pay more attention and provide real full diagnostic. Lets try and save our customers some money and provide accurate diagnostics.

Never buy from a dealership. Agreed out the door to a certain price then hiked on an extra 3000 dollars in taxes when finalizing the paperwork. Even added an extra almost 2% APR to the agreed financing amount. 1/10 do not recommend.
Ive been getting my car serviced at Spreen Loma Linda since 2018. They give exceptional service. They give clear expectations and go above and beyond! I highly recommend them.
It was a disaster. They made me wait over three hours for a filter they said they would have in an hour.They still didnt have the part after that long wait so I said give me my car back.I scheduled a trip to Toyota the next morning .O my way 5here I smelled thick oil smoke inside the car. When I arrived at Toyota they showed me the oil cap was laying down on the frame and oil was all lOver the engine compartment.They then changed the oil properly and cleaned the engine bay.They didnt charge me for the oilIt still smells inside but the service man said he didnt think the cabin filter is oil saturated and it should improve in a couple of days.Mel

Sales person was knowledgeable regarding providing the vehicle we needed and price was competitive with other Honda dealers in the area. So far we are pleased with the vehicle and the dealer. The only problem that we have faced is that a trunk tray was added to the deal and we have had difficulty contacting the parts department to pick that up.
I purchase the car and took a drive didn’t see A big stain in the back seat. When I went over next day Sale’s manager promise that he will take care for it. As a dealer with $30.800 car. I don’t appreciate with this price Honda not able to take care my problem. I will never go back with Honda

Bad customer service I brought my car on 8/04/21 to see what was wrong with it. I had to keep calling them almost every day to get an update as they wouldnt call me! Then they said they order the parts and it would be fixed within a day or two its been 15 days since I bought it in. Yesterday I called and they told me it would be fixed by today and I called and now they said the guy is not there and I will need to call in tomorrow. They did not provide a rental and I had to rent a car for an entire week now I have no car and they keep giving excuses. Horrible customer service!

We paid cash for our minivan in Dec 2020 and were told wed get the title, registration and plates within 6 weeks. It has been almost 7 months and we keep getting the run around because someone at Spreen made a boo-boo. Repeated phone calls and visits and we get promises to look into it and that the case has been sent on to another party ---very disappointed. The latest temporary registration renewal is about to run out.

I was in the market for a commuter car and wasnt planning to spend a lot of money. I saw that Spreen Honda had several Honda Civic with low miles at great prices. Upon arrival with my wife and two little kids, I was greeted by Owen Fung. He was willing to spend several hours taking my family and I to check all the cars available. Most of the time he went to get the car and pulled it up front. It was 100 degree day and he allowed my family and I to sit in the air conditioning inside the main lobby. I believe I checked about 6 cars. Owen was very helpful, patient, and honest the whole time. I never felt pressured to buy a car nor had to spend hours negotiating a price. I ended up buying the first car I looked at and 3 hours later had it at my house. I really appreciate Owen dropping off the car at my house as Im the only driver in my family. I would recommend Owen for anybodys car shopping needs.

Honda Spreen was an awesome experience. Was greeted promptly as soon as I pulled into the desk ship. Even before I got there, they had signed me into there system and knew what car I wanted, and the vehicle had arrived that same day, like a fresh pair of new sneakers fresh out of the factory. Yet when it came down to the numbers and monthly payments I was very unhappy, we negotiated for maybe about 30 minutes or so. Which I wasn’t surprised, that’s what all car dealerships are known for. Nonetheless they took every consideration of what I wanted and took the time and effort to get what I wanted and worked out an amazing deal. I couldn’t be happier in the end results. Tom Mac was a great salesman and does his job extremely well, and keeping in mind of his customers needs first. Also cleaned my car, detailed it from front to back inside and out not missing one spot. If I can give these guys 100 stars I would but 5/5 is the limit and 5/5 is what they get. Thanks again guys for finding me my hatchback was a very hard find and I thank you for the great experience. In the near future when i decide to get another car I will definitely be returning. THIS PLACE IS A SCAM!!! i guess its not the first time they had this problem got a quote from tru car and confirmed it through the phone went down was super easy showed them the exact car and the exact quote we got sat us down and they proceeded to give us a payment 290 more then the quote blamed it on the car we were trying to trade in so i took the trade off the deal and still offered the same price trying to blame add ons and other accessories we said we dont want them we came for the car that was advertised and they said that it was the car except it had more add ons that is called a bait and switch and it is an illegal practice in the car business i do not recommend this place to anyone i will make as many account that i have to until they stop doing it it was a big waste of time
If I could give them a negative star rating I would! Took my vehicle on 3/29/21 for problem with my accord’s ANC system, they couldn’t find a problem with it so I had to bring it back on 4/2/21. Adam Garcia was my service agent, from the start he was being rude and not taking my concerns into account and on top of that was trying to charge me $150 for diagnostic fee while the vehicle was still under warranty. I spoke with the manager Sebastian who tried to smooth things over. Adam then called me advising that they had found the problem and that my vehicle needed to stay overnight but was assured that my vehicle would be ready the next day on 4/3/21. Fast forward to 4/3/21 I had to call to get status of my vehicle to only be told by Adam that my vehicle would not be ready until the following Monday or Tuesday. Again Sebastian tried to smooth things over by providing a loaner vehicle and promised me a free oil change and a full tank on my vehicle. On Monday I had to call again to get status of my vehicle which they stated it was still not ready and wouldn’t be till Tuesday, so I picked up the loaner vehicle and later received a call 8mins before they close that my vehicle was ready for pick up. When I finally pick up my vehicle later that week my gas tank is half empty and I get no proof if the free oil change promised by Sebastian. Overall bad service no clear communication and empty promises. I could care less of “free” service but why promise something and not come through. As for the service agent Adam Garcia, he needs to be re trained for better customer service and their warranty procedures. Definitely would recommend this dealer for anything! Stay away!!
Had my car in for a recall 3 weeks ago, then I get a notice that I have another recall. Before I left they checked to see if I had anymore updates and was told no. The next recall may take a half day so I have to find a ride to work since their shuttle only drops people off within a 10 mile range and they dont have loaner cars, supposedly because of Covid-19.
DO NOT BUY YOUR CAR AT THIS DEALERSHIP! SHADY BUSINESS DEALS HAPPEN HERE!Came today with my daughter for the 2021 Honda Odessey EX-L with hopes to close the deal. As per usual, we negotiated on a price and ultimately disagreed with the monthly payment price. We decided to think it over and respectfully walked out, with a mutual agreement that we would be in contact.As we were driving home, they called us back in agreement of our desired price point. When we returned, we believed that Spreen Honda was allowing us to preview the 2021 model of our desired car, but instead they showed us an OLDER MODEL. They knew they were trying to sell us a car with our desired price point under FALSE PRETENSES.When we found out that this was a previous model, we began to walk out and quickly decided this was not the place for us. The sales manager began to be aggressive in trying to close the deal. They were using manipulation tactics to get us to stay.Ive bought multiple Honda cars in the past and I have never experienced such MANIPULATION before arriving to Spreen Honda Loma Linda. We will not be recommending this dealership and rest assured we will not be doing business here EVER. I hope the owner of this dealership will pay attention to how their employees are treating potential clients.
