Just went to the Livingston location for a large order for a party. Literally everyone went out of their way to help me. The associates helped me pick out everything I needed and assisted in deciding on quantities for this party. They are so knowledgeable and over the top helpful. Decent stock, helpful and courteous staff. Found it interesting that they are connected to a CVS Pharmacy though.

You might want to tell your cashiers to smile and be nice to the customers. No greetings, no hello and acted like I was a bother. Perfectly fine to be friendly towards your coworkers though. I’ll just avoid this one and go back to Chatham where they are much friendlier.

Love the beer selection. One of the better ones in Morris County.

This place is huge and has lots of options for wine. Recently moved into Livingston and just dropped by after a CVS run. Had lots of wine options, spirits, cheese, crackers etc. everything you would want for a party or a date night.

A pretty wide selection of liquors. They didnt have what I was specifically looking for, but I could definitely appreciate all that they carried. Pretty fair prices and alot of discounts all around the store

Good prices helpful staff and close to home

4 stars goes to the product specialists who are friendly, helpful, and are very knowledgeable about their products. There is also one cashier who is a delight to go to. He is friendly and attentive and makes you feel like a person instead of a sale. Young guy who always has a smile.

Livingston Bottle King is a great liquor store, where you may purchase a variety of alcoholic beverages and on top of that get educated. Staff is super helpful and very courteous.

Very large warehouse style store with great pricing in a huge selection of beers, wines, spirits. I always found the staff to be friendly and accommodating. Open late too which is helpful.

I buy wine here often because it’s on my way home from work but the cashiers are terrible. No matter which line I get on or how friendly I try to be they barely speak, don’t smile, never say thank you but have no issue being friendly amongst each other. I’m certainly not going there to make a friend but the overall feeling is that they are rude. I manage a team of 10 employees and would never allow this from my staff.

Good selection and decent price

Starting to have a wider selection of craft beer. The staff can be a little bit unpleasant especially when getting checked out. Need to expand on the biggest growing category which is craft beer. Missing the boat on this one. Total wine and wine library have a excellent selection of craft beer would go there if looking for a good selection.

You can find some pretty good deals in here! unfortunately not always youll find consistency on their employees customer service skills, some may bend over backwards to help you, advised you or get the product you need, while some others will just tell you ...we dont have it and walk away, that is very disappointing. Other than that it is very convenient.

The manager in check out area is Rude or on her phone, Cashiers are always eating. Workers in the store like showing their under pants and managers at night are always on the phone & can not assist you. I’ve never hated being inside of a store until tonight. Never coming back!! No professionalism here!!

As a beer buyer/drinker/lover, I enjoy shopping here.Its a little out of the way for me (the Glen Ridge store is closer to me) but whenever I go to my dentist on No. Livingston Ave, I make it my business to come here to unclench and score something to drink with my first meal after the novocaine wears off.For the record, my current favorite with food is New Belgiums Fat Tire. Fantastic selection of beers, liquor and wine.This is one of the only places I can find one of my favorite beers, Schneider Aventinus Eisbock. Its a heavy dark German beer thats 12% alcohol. You can grab a bottle here for $5.

I have been a loyal customer of Bottle King for years in Livingston, NJ. Every year I buy my gifts for the holidays to give to business associates and friends who appreciate good wine. This year also I spent over $600, but today I went in to buy 3 more bottles of wine. I had forgotten 2 friends. They did not have gift bags so I asked the manager he forced me to buy gift bags which was fine but he disrespected me by saying You choose to buy alcohol, we dont make you buy alcohol, we dont have to give you gift bags. Yes, I choose to buy alcohol with my money I dont need a punk telling me what to do. They forget that they are not the only game in town. There are other stores who will gladly accept my money and will thank and respect me for it.

Dont confuse their ratings with legitimate reviewers like The Wine Spectator or Robert Parker or James Suckling. BK reviews are apparently just marketing hype to boost sales on wines with better markups.

Stopped in for A Quick visit to find Campari, made in Milan, Italy, with a bitter undertone that I Adore w/Prosecco, or club soda! Store is very well kept, Wines from every region, and Bourbon & Tequila to match every taste. Also beautiful, delicious Cheeses from every nation. Was down to my last inch of Campari, so glad I stopped by! Friendly, knowledgeable, professional staff, too! 😄
