The staff are always helpful and polite, and have let me know when I have accidentally forgotten to lock my unit. The staff here truly go above and beyond. The store is run by some very competent and smart people, which is a refreshing change from many other businesses. The owner obviously knows what they’re doing. I’ve been renting a unite from extra space storage for about five years now. I’ve had zero problems with the company. I own my own business and I come in late at night sometimes and I feel safe because it’s very well lit and the gate is always working, never had a problem. The place is always well-kept and the monthly fee is very reasonable for what you get. Kristina the manger is an angel. If everybody was like her the world would be a much better place. I have been a loyal customer and had my unit for over 1 1/2 years and out of nowhere during a pandemic when im making less money and costs have increased so much they DOUBLED the cost of my unit. They said i am not eligible for online pricing as i am not a new customer. New customers beware they do not have a cap on increases. They will double the price out of nowhere to take advantage of customers during one of the worst times in history. I should have stayed at my last location i highly regret moving my things in here. You can find online pricing at smaller companies that will not increase like this FYI. Do your research and dont make the same mistake i did.

Start to finish - the experience has been great so far! I do wish that there was more than one moving cart at each elevator … there are way too many rental units and people coming and going to just have one cart at each elevator.

Very easy to rent. Signed up very fast checked in with manager, whole thing took five minutes.All details were well explained to me. I had a good experience using Extra Space Storage. Their staff is really accommodating and helpful! I had to store a lot of old antique furniture so they gave me an inside unit in an attempt to control the temperature in the unit better.I used their services for 2.5 years and I never had an issue.

There are plenty of flat carts to move your items to your unit and the elevator is quick.I no longer need to store anything, but should I need to again, I will come back to Extra Space Storage. This place was great and I would definitely use them again if I ever needed a storage unit in Livermore. It was fast and easy to sign up and even easier to move out. The staff were helpful, didnt pressure me into signing up for things I didnt want, and explained everything I needed to know very clearly. Minimal paperwork, no annoying emails or unnecessary phone calls but they also contacted me when appropriate. Everything on site was always very clean and theres plenty of room to maneuver your vehicle. I stored my stuff here for several years in an outdoor drive-up unit, and was very happy that none of my artwork, furniture, or clothes got damaged by heat, humidity, or pests.

Been storing here for years because its super close to our house, facility is always super clean. Havent heard of any issues so it feels pretty safe. I havent had any interaction with staff so dont know how customer service is. Weve been pretty happy storing our items here. Only bad part I would say is that they raised their rent a lot and every single year compared to other self storages & I would know... I worked in a small mom and pop self-storage in Pleasanton for 6 years.

I have been coming here for a little over a year now and it has been a great experience. I have lost my keys a few times and getting into my unit was never a problem. We currently have 3 separate storage units, 2 of which are at Extra Space. We rented a large space to consolidate and they made sure to put us in a space that was very close to the unit we are vacating. That made the transition so much easier. They are always friendly and and professional and they have the longest hours of any storage facility in town. Great place. I highly recommend them.

My boyfriend has storage here. The unit itself seems very secure. They are open until 10pm. You need a code to open the gate which lets them know who is coming and going. Its a very nice place.

Melanie was very prompt about calling me regarding my online reservation and was helpful in person when I went to see the units in person. The property is clean and orderly and the units are well maintained and easy to access. Melanie was able to answer my questions to help me find a unit suitable for my needs and overall very polite.

I was shown the unit and the grounds inside and out are clean. There were no weeds or any signs of neglect outside. Reserving and paying for a storage was easy and efficient. Melanie confirmed the appointment on the phone and Kristina completed the storage process with me. There were no surprises. Everything was explained clearly and they were kind. The keypads are not worn and work easily without having to force it. The inside is evenly lit and there are carts to help you move stuff in or out. It was a very pleasant experience and I definitely recommend this location for storage. Two thumbs up!

Not only was the site easy-to-use, I got a wonderful rate during Memorial Day Weekend, and I was followed up with via phone call, I got to take a look at the unit before I signed any paperwork, and both Kristine and Melanie were able to answer any and all of my questions about insurance, access, and rates. In fact they answered most of my questions before I even needed to ask them. Very informative, very very welcoming, they made this process so easy, and I am so excited to be renting with them.

Very clean, modern facility with good lighting. Very friendly, knowledgeable manager who answered all my questions. The prices are a little higher than the next closest facility but the price was worth it to me for the better facilities and convenience.

So I had originally inquired online, which got me a call from HQ. They understood my situation (break up, needed space for my things), and were patient and pleasant. Well, the breakup didn’t happen, and my 30 day hold expired and the location called me the day before to confirm I wasn’t going to need the space - she didn’t yell, hassle, or sound rude: Awesome. Come to find out a couple months later, we’re breaking up again, so I called up Extra Space, reserved the spot, drove over there, and signed my papers. The site itself is clean and looks great, the units are nice with big heavy duty gates, and the staff was always a pleasure. Now I can’t vacation anywhere without seeing a couple Extra Spaces around town. Great work!

Very nice storage facility. I have been using this place for a long time (almost 2 years). Would recommend asking about all the pricing options for web specials to their first month free offers if they have them. Most big name storage units have an increase in price after so many months but that seems to be a common place in California. Highly recommend this location in Livermore, staff like Melanie is very friendly and helpful.

Extra Space Storage was informative and helpful. I felt like I was well-taken care of. I signed up for a year lease ahead of time and received one month free (bonus!). I got a 5x10 space and it was clean and the expected size. You have to pay for insurance, but we were prepared for this based on prior research. Ive only just moved in and have no comments about how it will be after a year, but I have confidence I will continue to have a positive relationship with this place.
