Unless you are desperate for donuts...entered at 8:30pm assured us coffee was fresh, made it himself at 4:30pm??? Ordered a Lg and Med the kid behind the counter emptied both carfes in the 2 cups that really came out to a Sm and Med...what hes not allowed to make fresh coffee?? Then there isnt enough fresh cream in the ridiculous container you have to pump...whats worse, the kid wont open a container of fresh milk because he says last time he did that he had to pay for it....Long story paid left dumped the horrible coffee and stopped a 7-11..Theres fresh coffee there all day

I went to get 2 dozen doughnuts and the variety was very good. The person who helped me was very helpful selecting a variety. The only thing that I can suggest is that they would take credit cards. They only take cash.

For those of you passing by or wanting to know where there is a great fresh Donut spot in Livermore this would be the place. I live 2 hrs away but still manage to make my way for a dozen every week. Fresh every time but be ready to pay with cash they do not except debit or credit but do have an ATM handy if needed.

Update: 1/3/20A dozen donuts and a medium coffee for $14.60. So yummy.Freshly made everyday.

I never found the donuts to be super fresh or delicious. Not sure if the icing is what’s my issue with it or it’s the dough. Also, this store usually does not bake enough so a lot of the donuts will be out if you’re not in time.

We discovered Donut Wheel when we lived in Livermore. But even now that we moved away, we still make a special trip to satisfy our Donut Wheel cravings!

Best donut shop in town. Krispy Kreme eat your heart out. The fella behind the counter is super nice and will inform you if the donut you chose was fresh or not. But if you ask me, the donuts here are good all day so if you happen to get a 3 hour old donut, itll still be the best 3 hour old donut in town.

My fiancee and I love your chocolate dough donuts with chocolate icing and sprinkles. You guys are out of them about 80% of the mornings we go by your shop though. Please make more of these donuts so you always have some available. We are clearly not the only people that love these donuts!

The best donuts in town. Always open and there for me, especially during my wifes pregnancy where their cherry cake donuts were a necessity. The jelly filled donut holes are a work of delicious art, and, being the most boring person ever, I love the plain granulated sugar coated raised. Perfectly executed.

Making good donuts may not be rocket science, but this place never seems to be empty. I always see a crowd coming out the front door each weekend morning and it never fails to get longer when I need to stop by to pick up a dozen for a group event. My personal favorite are the apple fritters and filled maple bars. I could eat them all day long, until I burst at the seams of course.

24 hours. Came in midnight on amonday and the guy at the counter was just so fun. Wish I got his name, this will be a new tradition for fresh donuts!

Anytime day or night, Donut Wheel is there for you This place is a Livermore institution, and with good reason! The quintessential donut shop. And when I say Donut Shop thats it. This place is focused. From crullers to old fashioned, glazed to sugar coated and Bavarian creme filled bars, Donut Wheel has it all. It may not look like much, but that blue collar hard scrabble feel and angular 50s architecture only adds to the experience.

Excellent donuts at a fair price. Hours that fit any snacking need you might have. Interior/seating is lackluster but my experience was with picking up an order to go, so Ill exclude that from my rating.

24-hour donut shop with a large variety of fresh donuts offered. No long waits or uptight crowds. Great place to grab some fresh brewed coffee and donuts or pastry. Other types of beverages offered as well. Different flavored kinds of milk, juices, as well as sodas. There are a few small tables if you wanted to sit and enjoy your snack but I mostly recommend this place for to-go orders. Best of all it is open 24-hours all day every day. Always a fresh variety ready to chose from. Also with every dozen (12) you buy, they throw in a free donut so their dozens are a bakers dozen (13).

Donut Wheel is my all time favorite childhood spot growing up. We would get it from breakfast; we would get it for lunch sometimes. We would get it for snacking in the middle of the night because they never close! We always get a box or two on road trips as well. It is a old shop now but never gets old in my heart. For just $10 you can get a baker’s dozen of donuts. Can’t find that anywhere nowadays!I love love love love the hot plain old fashioned all my life! It’s doughy, it’s dense, it’s slightly crispy on the outside but there’s something about it that is very addicting to me. The original glazed and the donut holes are great too. Always flavorful. The Donut Wheel has got it down with the perfect combination of salt, sugar, dough and fried just right. They are best when they first batch comes out and consumed right away.The staff here are always sweet and helpful. They use to know me by name and face in my younger days but I’ve became a stranger every since I moved away. They old lady still works there. She’s not the friendliest person but I’ve known her for so long; I honestly vouch that she means wells. All and all; This place still has that great old-time-feel to it. One of the few placed left my my childhood that makes me feel at home when I come back to visit my hometown.

I only get to Livermore once a year for their car show. After walking through it for a few hours, I needed a sugar fix. I came across the Donut Wheel and stepped in for a basic glazed donut. The store was clean and well stocked with a variety of donuts. I got a much needed rest as I ate a good tasting donut. What else can I say!

Donuts here are fantastic and just like every other place, they are very cheap. My ONLY complaint here is the size of the donuts. The standard raised donuts here seem to be a bit smaller than most places. However, considering how bad donuts are for you, perhaps that is a good thing. Oh, and this place is cash only

Got a maple bar and was disappointed. Overly crispy, small, and hardly had any maple icing on it. There’s another place down the street that is 10x better, go there instead.

Some workers especially at night need to be a bit more efficient. It took me really long to just get some simple donut holes and a donut, and not something of huge importance, but my change was short by five cents (they only accept cash)

Only come here late night hype. The custard filled donut holes with chocolate on top are the best. However the lady at night hates people and most of the time she will not do fill the donut holes. The old guy will hook it up if you call ahead. Usually a wait at night the old lady moves at a sloths pace.

Three stars only for being open 24 hours. service was neutral, polite but automatic. the donuts, however, are subpar. parking is also a problem...too many shoppers park in this tiny lot and wander elsewhere. if you go, explore the rest of first street so this donut shop isnt the last thing you remember about Livermore.

Its a super chill spot for locals, especially on weekend nights. Its cash only and luckily enough theyre not super expensive so if you have at least $5-$10 on you, youre good. The customer service is a little iffy but then again Ive never seen anyone else besides the older woman at the counter and the man baking the donuts so I can only assume this is due to lack of actual staff.
