This review is regarding the service department.We recently relocated to the area, and I have only serviced my Cayenne here twice. Out of the five times I had my car serviced elsewhere three times before we relocated to the East Bay, they have always cleared the AC drain line with each service at no additional charge as there is a known issue with the way the drain is designed. I had never thought much of it until recently when the line started backing up into my passenger floorboard, and I called Porsche of Livermore to book a service appointment. Two of the attendants knew nothing about the known defect and said they would have the service tech look into it while having my routine service done. I said sure, no problem, and patiently waited for what they said would be a three-hour service. Fast-forward, four hours, the car is still not ready, nor has it been washed, and I asked if they could please give me a status update. Of course, as usual, they have a long list of recommended repairs, but one of them is the AC drain line clearing for $441 that caught my eye. So, when I questioned the service advisor, he stated that this is only part of a major service (lie), and it should have been completed at my previous service 40k interval (why didn’t they do it then?). So, I asked for my car and called my previous dealership on the peninsula while headed home and a secondary one (Porsche of Walnut Creek) that I will start using from now on to confirm that this is part of every oil change. There should be no charge for it, and even though I did not have my car serviced there this time, the previous dealership let me swing by the next day, and they cleared it for me. I left a message that same day (Monday) for the service manager, Ron at Livermore, to clarify, and he never returned my call. So, to summarize, I would avoid the service department in Livermore as it seems they only care about money, do not know what they are talking about most of the time, and its rather uncomfortable while you are sitting there endlessly waiting to have to hear them talk about people and listen to their drama.

I was searching the nation for a slightly used Mercedes-Benz S550 Coupe. Low and behold, the nicest offering (county-wide) was found at Porsche Livermore. In addition to Porsches, this dealership carries only the best selection of off-brand vehicles. Whats even better is their customer service and their revamped approach toward the sales process. David Dagstanyan worked with me from start to finish. From the initial phone call, to handing me the keys. Thats right! No handoff from the sales guy to the finance team. No merry-go-round the dealership. No sales pressure, no vehicle warranty purchase pressure... NONE OF THAT!I have purchased numerous vehicles over the past few years, but never have been more delighted in the process than with what occurred with Porsche Livermore. While the dealership was finalizing all the paperwork and detailing the car, I was sitting, eating & watching the NFL playoffs in their lounge area. So relaxing.I highly recommend this dealership and David Dagstanyan. Dont hesitate to give them a call for your car needs. Even if its not a Porsche.

I came here last weekend to look at and eventually purchase an older Boxster they had on the lot as my first Porsche. Ralph Gonzales was awesome to work with I highly recommend him! Even though I was buying a car that costs less then the options do on a brand new 911 you would swear I was spending 300k the other day the service was top notch! Ill be back in the future! What a great buying experience. I’ve purchased and still own cars from the other German luxury brands and Porsche Livermore definitely brought something a little extra. We worked with Panos, very knowledgeable and his relaxed additive made the process super chill. Not once was someone trying to sell me something, they let you just buy what you want to buy. I have a feeling I will be coming back for another Porsche on the future.

This dealership is very frustrating, first they told me to give them all 5 stars on their review so I could get the full value of my trade in. After purchasing this car we have had one miscommunication after another. Some of these costing me a 4 hour drive one way and hotel room to find out we drove there for nothing. We have asked a few times for help setting up the app on my wife’s phone and still yo this day don’t have it set up… I will definitely not be back here, we are going to another dealership from now on!

I recently made 4 different calls trying to make a simple appointment for an oil change. When I did speak to an actual person Id be transferred to someone else who didnt answer their phone. Id leave a voicemail and never get a return call. Finally called another dealership and after one call my service appointment was scheduled.

Worst experience servicing my Porsche GT4 here.This happened on Jan 2020. There was a transmission recall on the GT4 and hence I had dropped the car for servicing. A few days after the servicing, my son was driving the car to Napa and a few of the parts dropped out of the car and the transmission unit came loose. I had to get the car towed to Marin Porsche to get it repaired. The Porsche Livermore did pay for the towing and the repairs.Because of the dealership negligence, my son could have been in harms way. Luckily, the car broke in a local road. If it was in a highway, things might have gotten much more dangerous for my son.I am disappointed with the shoddy work done by the Livermore dealership. Yes, humans can make mistake but not when working on a high-end car, such as GT4, from a reputed German manufacturer and their dealership.

Being an owner of multiple Porsches and buying one directly from Porsche Livermore... I fully understand and love the great people, culture and product behind the brand. Unfortunately, this specific dealership has failed to live up to that brand. In a span of a month I tried to engage with Porsche Livermore as a buyer and a service customer. I was initially looking into purchasing one of their pre-owned inventory, their automated online experience and communication to set up an appointment is excellent. 2 thumbs up, no problem ...although when I got to the dealership for my appointment, I checked into the front... and after 30min... no one showed up and no one asked if I needed help. Complete waste of time... Never mind Ill look elsewhere. So I gave them the benefit of the doubt (which is my fault) and decided to engage with Porsche Livermore again via their Service Dept. That could be better right? Again, the online automated experience was great! I got a text showing me a video walkthrough of my car from the mechanic and I also got an automated online estimate. Great! ...until ...I tried to ask a question through the online estimate. Sent out the question... crickets...ok Ill call them... but yet again, trying to talk to a human being is a total fail. Trying to connect is like pulling teeth. It took almost 2 weeks just to get an estimate. I understand we all have busy schedules, but at this point it would probably be easier to connect with a DMV representative, than to get a hold of a service advisor or meet with a sales rep. Anyway, thought Id share my experience as I know not all experiences are not the same. Ill be taking my business elsewhere and hoping to wash this nasty taste off of a brand I dearly love. We bought our Macan Turbo last Oct 2020, the sales guy named Paul was very helpful and went above and beyond while helping us so we finally got our dream car. He promised us to replace some parts that were missing at that time. Unfortunately, he was layed off or something so we didn’t get to follow up with him. Luckily the manager I think was Kevin told us he was gonna honor that promise and so he did. Thank goodness cos he didn’t have to but he did. Now we brought our car to fix R tail light and specifically told the service girl Kayla thru email link and message which is how they communicated with me, that i needed the old tail light after they replace it. She did not get it for me and even lied that she called me and left messages but i did not get any, at all even in msgs or thru the link. Her service manager and Kayla both said that they have to send the parts to the Porsche manufacturer but it is my car and i specifically wanted that old part back. I know that they can do that but if owner wants parts back i should have been informed that i cannot do that, otherwise if they had told me i could have gone to another place who accomodates car owners preferences, so sad about this. The best part tho was Pam, she had always been the sweetest and respectful in all my encounters with her. Kudos to you Pam.

Customer service has completely disappeared. All of the sales people have been laid off. You can’t get anyone to respond to simple inquiries, and the service department looks like a log jam caught on fire. Not enough people working and too many customers requiring service. I would suggest another dealership, Porsche Livermore has a long road ahead of them to get back to normal. Find a dealer that truly cares for you and your needs.

Ive never purchased a vehicle from this dealership but had my cayenne serviced here recently. The customer service was very good, Vernon was able to help me with the process of dropping my cayenne off and getting my loaner vehicle ready. He notified me soon as my vehicle was ready for pick up. They even washed my cayenne. I would definitely recommend this dealership to anybody. Also very clean facility.

I went to the dealership today to inquire about a 911 turbo S. AJ the internet sales manager gave me a questionnaire which appeared to be a screening tool. He was perturbed by the fact that I am a health care worker who treats and manages covid 19 patients. There was great amount of trepidation behind the mask. He later indicated that according to the manager I cannot go in the dealership and I can do business transaction at the side of the road. The whole experience left me flabbergasted! It was very troubling the way he made me feel. I would recommend you guys please put a sign outside your dealership saying Health care workers are not welcome. God bless you all!

However, when I spoke with Porsche Livermore sales staff, I wasn’t treated with the excellent customer service that I have come to expect. Subsequently, my Porsche dealership tried to handle the deal on my behalf and were also not treated well either.

Worse car dealer experience in my life. Wanted to purchase remotely a car, that dealership is unable to provide you a quote, with a way to wire money to confirm your order. They got an email from me confirming a will to purchase a car on friday, and sold it during the week-end to somebody else. If you want to purchase a car from them, just go on site, and do not wait for their quote to come back to you ever through digital way. Pretty tough for a silicon valley dealer.

Took 4 hrs to get a 20 minute oil change. Although rep was nice bathroom lacked supplies and when I told the guy at the desk he was like tell her like he was too good to take that info. Bad customer service. They took us to place in town because our car wasnt ready and then told us we would have to wait an hour to pick us up. After speaking to the manager he gave us an uber to bring us back .You buy a 50 thousand dollar car and that is the service you get? I bought a Nissan and have 5 star service on that vehicle for a lot less purchase price.

Worst service experience I have ever had at any dealership. Going in for an annual service to develop a long term relationship. Oh FYI, already sold a 911 there and also at a later date bought one from them, so not a new relationship. I have been mistreated also lied to when I dropped my car off and she would not get new documentation to fix her mistake. Then when I was going to pick up my car after 8 days of service, was not communicated to correctly and waited 1 hour and 10 minutes before an Uber picked me up. They said they only had 1 Uber account and needed to wait till the other customer was dropped off. They didn’t tell me that on the first two times I called then to see if everything was ok with their pickup service.Worst service at any dealership or company ever.

I had a 5-Star, wonderful interaction with Adam DeGough. He was very thorough and took me on a very informative test drive. He answered all of my questions and offered to provide additional support. Adam followed-up with me in a non-intrusive way. Unfortunately, the Macan that I was interested in sold shortly after the test drive. I purchased my 2010 Cayman S from Porsche of Livermore nearly 3 years ago and have been very pleased with the service that I have received over the past several years. The staff is friendly, and John, the service manager, is particularly pleasant and always helpful. Porsche of Livermore has been very good about providing loaner cars whenever servicing was going to take more than a few hours. On the few occasions when I needed to interact directly with the parts department, I found the parts manager to be very helpful as well. In summary, my overall experience, both with my vehicle, and with this dealership, has been very positive.

These guys were awesome. I had planned on buying my Porsche at a different dealer and merely stopped by this dealership to look at a similar car. Within 5 minutes I realized they would give me a better deal, would wrap up the transaction super fast and would bend over backwards to make me a long term customer. I bought my pre-owned Cayenne S Hybrid from Porsche of Livermore and I am blown away by the amazing sales and service they have provided. The sales rep handling the transaction was Phillipe and I must say he is a rare breed. Very disarming personality and absolutely no pressure selling. He listens intently to all your needs and choices and provides excellent responses and options that fits your needs. The transaction was done fair and square with price references taken from the Internet. Most of my additional accessory requests were incorporated. They matched the low APR offered by my credit union as well. The most important aspect was after the transaction was done. At the time of delivery, there were a few pending items and a few minor things discovered right at the time of delivery. During the next 4 weeks, Phillipe remained in touch, proactively calling and informing of part arrivals and service appointments, etc. For someone to really go that extra mile after the sales is completed demonstrates true professionalism. The folks in the service department especially John are really prompt about getting you in and out without any hassles. Everyone there is really friendly and carries a genuine smile. I am really impressed with the experience at Porsche of Livermore and I wish everyone there great success ahead. Will certainly send my friends your way guys! :-)

I just purchased a used Ford Explorer from this Porsche Dealership and what a GREAT experience. Not only did I receive treatment as if I was buying a Porsche, but they also did a great job of standing behind the condition of the used vehicle. They performed an additional inspection at my request, provided honest feedback about their findings and took care of the issues!! I would have NEVER received this type of treatment at a Ford Dealer. I recently had the 60,000 mile service perfomed on my Porsche Cayman S. The overall experience was excellent. They had a loaner car available for me to use while my car was in the shop. A service engine code was tripped and they found a low efficient catalytic converter which was replaced under warranty.

Unprofessional behavior, lacking customer service, and overall very poor performance.I had committed to the purchase and had my pre-approved funding source. The sales person, Terry, asked for 24 hrs to beat my funding sources terms. When he couldnt get it it done we agreed to process the loan through my source first thing in the morning but the car was sold out from under me and his excuse was that we didnt have a contract in-place, sorry.I had driven over 100 miles per day for 3 days to see the car (day 1 - Non-Responsive to email and phone calls so drove 160 miles round-trip to see it in person,Just got in, cant test-drive before safety inspection, day-2 - Test-Drove and committed to purchase, Day-3 - Agreed to use my funding source, day 4 - non-responsive again. Terry was non-responsive to emails and voicemails so today, after 2 phonecalls with no response for an update on the paperwork processing I drove 50 miles one-way to see what was going on in-person...only to be told it had been sold. I was fed a bunch of excuses but in the end this sale did not happen due to the salespersons own delays.This is incredibly unprofessional behavior and as a business management consultant I can state this with authority.A Livermore Porsche salesman has only served to reinforce the negative reputation of car salespeople.My car search continues with the hope of not having a reoccurrence of this horrible experience I had with Porsche of Livermore.

Stopped in on the way back from our camping trip in Felton. My kids (8 and 11) are race fans and love the Porsche team. They were literally watching Porsche Yellowbird, 911 2.7 RS, and RUF videos while driving home. My youngest son spotted the dealership.We pulled up in the family truckster, loaded down and the kids immediately spotted the GT3 and GT2 cars.The GM, Kevin, I believe, met us and was very very cool to the kids. He spent some time showing them the new GT cars and others in and around the showroom. In fact, he gave them some race calenders and magnets. We took lots of pics and got back into the Dad car.Very appreciative of how we were treated!!Thank you guys so much for the kindness, tour and gifts!!

Ok, this is my worst experience with Prosche dealer, even StevensCreek.I am a Porsche fan for couple years, Redwood city Carlsen Porsche was my dealer where I bought one Cayman and Boxster. Perfect is my word for their service all the time. After I sold my Boxster, Cayman GT4 is my next ride in mind. Then I found one at Porsche Livermore. Terry Erdei is the guy send me text message. However, he only reply me the first greeting text, and disappear after my second message. Yeah maybe I should not mentioned price concern in text message, makes me like low baller.I called in next day made an appointment to see the car.20 minutes waiting after I arrive on time. Okay maybe its always busy on Sunday. He took me back to the service place, yes, service garage. not in show room. So I watched the $120,000 car in a almost dark space. He did not start engine, not to say offer test drive. Ask me maybe 5 times: Do you have any questions on the car? This car is perfect for you.My wife felt pressure and want to leave at the moment.After those uncomfortable time, Okay, I would like to see what you have in your $15,000 over MSRP used car ( NOT CPO ).During the offer comparison back and forth. Mr.Erdei never smile for a sec and was very aggressive.Ok enough. My wife and I received exemplary, quality service from Kevin Hanschke and Terry Erdie during the process of purchasing our Porsche Cayenne at the Porsche of Livermore dealership.I believe success in business and in life is not necessarily measured when everything goes right but rather when everything goes wrong and how a business and the associated individuals respond. In this regard, Kevins response was exemplary when nearly everything went wrong with the delivery of our special order Cayenne.The details are not important. What is important is the level of courtesy and effort extended by Kevin to make things right. The mistake was at the factory and caused months of delivery delay. However, Kevin and Terry went above and beyond to accommodate our special needs until a newly reordered car arrived. When the car did arrive they were very fair on the pricing.Both my wife and I give Porsche of Livermore and specifically Kevin and Terry an A+ rating and recommend without reservation your dealership. I made the bad decision to buy a 2012 Hyundai Genesis from Livermore Porshe. Only had the car for 3 months and the engine started knocking with my wife and kid in the car. Had to get it towed to a Hyundai dealer for a diagnosis, and take a rental home. I learned my lesson not to buy from here, I dont expect and response from this dealer.

My experience at Porsche of Livermore was unlike any I have had at a car dealership. Since the moment I arrived, Carsten worked with me and helped me with everything I needed. I spent almost an entire day at the dealership asking questions, trying the car, and just generally chatting.Sometimes when you are looking at a car, and someone else is interested, a dealership or salesman will put you up against each other. I did NOT experience this here, even though there was another interested buyer. I was given my time to look at the car and make my own choice on purchasing it first.When it came to delivery, I had no ride to the dealership to pick up the new car. They offered to drive my car that I arrived in back to my house for me. This was above and beyond what I would have expected.Carsten remained very responsive during the buying, delivery and follow-ups. I enjoyed working with him through the purchase process.Overall, I would highly recommend anyone looking to purchase a new or used Porsche to try out Porsche of Livermore first. While I can only speak to my experience with Carsten directly, I have no doubt everyone there will work to his high standards to make their customers happy.

I was initially apprehensive about bringing my Porsche Cayenne to a Porsche dealership, knowing that the price to correct the problems could be very expensive. Not finding a Porsche dealership in the immediate Bay area and increasing my problems after visiting a Volkswagen and an Audi dealership, I brought my car to your dealership. John Bartlett, the Service Advisor immediately set me at ease, assuring me that they would do everything necessary to bring my car to top running condition. He met every deadline he set, even calling me to update progress on the car. He even made me feel comfortable spending $1800.00 to replace the fuel pump on my car. You have a valuable employee in John and I hope that you make him feel appreciated for the work he does beyond the call to duty. I believe that he normally leaves at 6:00 pm and he stayed well beyond that time to accommadate me. It was my intent to write a letter of appreciation for the service he provided me and if that would provide a greater benefit to him

I recently bought my used Porsche 911 from Carsten at Porsche of Livermore and I had a great experience with the overall process. I started looking at one vehicle, changed my mind to a second one, but then went back to the first one. Throughout the whole process Carsten was very patient and answered all of my questions and let both my wife and I drive the vehicles we were considering. While we waited for paperwork and the detailing to be done he gave me a tour around the facilities and explained some of the events they hold from time to time. The actual buying process was super smooth and Bob in the finance department explained all the numbers and had us in and out really fast so that we could take delivery of our new vehicle and get on the road.Im looking forward to having my car serviced there as well. Overall Id highly recommend this dealership if you are in the market for a new/used Porsche.

I was so excited when I found what I thought was the perfect car for me at Porsche of Livermore, through a male friend of mine. My male friend contacted the dealership first and they promptly responded. Then, I took over and emailed Terry Erdei about my interest in the car and informed him that the only catch was that I live in Florida. Terry Erdei responded a couple days later (not exactly timely), but I didnt hold that against him. At least not until it got worse and worse. When I spoke with Mr. Erdei the first time, he was nice enough and even told me that they have a dealership in Florida that they own as well and he would transfer the vehicle there for me to pick up if I purchased it, at their cost. We discussed my trade in and he said he would look into the value of my car. Several days passed. I emailed and texted Mr. Erdei, without success. Then, this past Saturday, I spoke with him again. During this conversation, I was told I would have to pay to transfer the new car to Florida and pay to send my car out there, and was offered an extremely low trade in value for my Audi (though this was not unexpected). I asked if he could email me the details of our conversation so I could assess all the costs and make a decision and he agreed to email them to me. It is now Monday at 5 PM and I have yet to receive any information from Mr. Erdei. Apparently, the salespeople at Porsche of Livermore do not treat women interested in purchasing vehicles with the same level of service they use for men. In fact, if you are a woman who wants to purchase a vehicle at this dealership (at least without your husband present), prepare to be ignored. Its too bad, because they had a sale, at least before their salesperson changed his tune about transferring the car and failed to respond to repeated inquiries.

I had a great experience with everyone I came into contact with in person and over the phone.All the way from Kevin the Sales Manager to Bob in Finance,Particularly though I want to mention what solid treatment I got from Dan Liu the internet fleet manager.There was a pretty major snag which was completely my fault,but they worked with me to get the deal done at an incredible price,and an APR that was WAAAY better than I expected(Kudos Bob!)I actually drove 5 1/2 hours passing dozens of Porsche dealerships on the way and would gladly do so again on my next purchase for this incredible service.I wish I could give more stars.Thanks again Dan!

After visiting several Porsche dealerships in the Bay Area, I purchased a gorgeous CPO 911S from Porsche of Livermore and the entire experience - including driving through LIvermores wine country -- was positive, honest and respectful of customer needs. Service manager John is very responsive (using email as I am too busy during the day to deal with voice mail) and took care of several minor issues covered by Porsches warranty. They know how to run an excellent dealership, keep focus on the customer rather than the sale and Porsche North America should be proud of them.Several weeks ago I returned to test drive the new 2012 911S on a gorgeous sun filled day and it was another peak experience with this evolving masterpiece. I also appreciate the invitation to view the new Boxster and mingle with Porsche owners and they always provide top shelf appetizers and wine from Wente.

I was looking for a very specific vehicle and after test driving several and either not finding the right one or not particularly caring for the individual selling the car I came across one at Porsche of Livermore. Carsten helped me set up a time to come in to look at the car and was very upfront about the dealerships price point and what they knew about the car. I actually left the dealership because I didnt think we could meet on price but because I really liked the car and Carsten seemed so genuine I came back to chat and we worked things out. He was very patient and intent on making the process as painless as possible. He never tried to shove any additional warranties or extra charge items down my throat. After I left the dealership, the car had a wheel bearing go out within 24 hours. I called Carsten to let him know and even on his day off he took the time to arrange for me to bring the car in to have it taken care of at no charge. Although it was quite a drive from Marin over to Livermore it was worth it. Whenever I start looking for a new car a few years from now, the folks over at Porsche of Livermore will be one of the first places I start.

I went into my third Porsche dealer, Porsche of Livermore, looking for a Cayman S. I was very please with their facility. I met up withCarsten Bremer one of the salesman there. Right from the beginning Carsten was not pushy or in any kind of a rush. He walked me around the lot showing me all of the different Caymans they had on their lot, there were lots of them with all different kinds of options. This was very helpful in trying to figure out what options to get! I ended up being able to go on 2 test drives, one with the sport suspension and the other with PASM, great way to tell the difference. Carsten and I went over and built up a Cayman GTSgoing over all options. He answered all of my many many questions. If your ever planing on getting a Porsche I highly recommend going to Porsche of Livermore and getting a hold of Carsten!

If youre in the market for a Porsche, please go see Dan Liu at Porsche of Livermore. Having never purchased a vehicle before, I walked into the dealership a little scared, and timid, but with every intention of driving out of there in a Panamera. The first salesman wasnt really helpful, but thank god he passed me off to Dan! Dan was extremely patient, and took the time to explain the vehicle to me. Hes very knowledgeable. He even let me drive this high performance vehicle and a high rate speed!! Dan made me feel like I was the only customer in the dealership that mattered and made me feel confident about the decision I was about to make. Dan made the entire process hassle free! Since purchasing my Panamera, it has been everything (and more) that Dan told me it would be. Dan has even kept in touch, periodically following up with me to see how the two of us (myself and the car) are doing. When I call him with questions, he responds back in a timely manner. Because of Dan, I can now say I am a proud member of the Porsche family!!! So for this experience, Dan Liu and Porsche of Livermore deserve FIVE STARS!!! Thanks again Dan!!
