This place SMELLS like New Jersey the moment you walk in. Miles Davis playing on the speakers, and the box fans roaring in the background. I’ve been coming here since 2003. Incredible food, and a relic of the way that things were 50 years ago.Yes its quirky, and sometimes they close early. Im just glad that places like this still exist. Love the food!You won’t regret a visit here!Now on to that Pastrami Sandwich 🤣!

My new go-to sandwich shop in the area. Staff was super nice and the sandwich (Sicilian) was incredible with fresh, soft bread and meat cuts that leave no doubt about the quality and authenticity of the sub.I ran a little late picking up the sandwich and even though theyd closed a staff member stayed behind to make sure I got my sub.

This is the place for an authentic Italian sandwich. It may take a few extra minutes for the home made taste. Well worth it.You can actually see the meat and veggies on their sandwich. Love this place.

Had a great lunch from Old Fashioned Italian Deli today. Old fashion Italian sandwich, chips, and a can of soda was just right. This place smelled like my Italian Grandmothers house growing up back in NJ. I might also call ahead to order next time, as it took some time to make the sandwich, however I will be back!

The littleton old fashioned deli is a true staple in our town. If you have not been here you need to go. For around 10$ you will get a sandwhich like no other and some home made pasta salad (if you dine in chips for to go orders) or a calzone so big and delicious that it will also be lunch tomorrow. You cant beat the quality and value of this establishment. I have been eating here for nearly 30 years and have never had a bad meal ever. And it is a family owned and operated restaurant and everyone is always friendly and fun. 10 out of 10 best italian deli food in denver metro area.

This is a tough review. I showed up at about 1:00 on a Tuesday and found a sign saying the dining room was closed to Covid, which I totally understand. they said the only way to order was by calling in the order and they would bring it out to me, which I did. I just ordered one sandwich.The biggest problem I had is that the order took about 25 minutes for them to bring out. There was nobody else waiting in the parking lot, so Im not sure what the issue was. I almost missed an appointment due to the time it took to bring it out.I will say that the food was very good, but did end up costing more than their online menu said it would. Overall, I would be willing to give them another chance.

Its okay. A good portion of meat and good flavor. Wasnt as happy with the bread. Just my preference.

Incredible sandwiches and friendly, family owned place. Just moved close this summer and have been a regular lunch order since. Sometimes they aren’t open when you think they are, sometimes you have to call a few times. So what? It’s like calling someone’s house and having a home cooked meal, you can’t expect them to be there all the time. To me that’s part of the charm. When I don’t catch them, I’m more excited about lunch the next day.

Was looking to grab food here, but after reading the owner’s petty responses to people with real complaints, I’ll be steering clear of this place. Keep it classy!

There is so much praise I could bestow upon this place, I scarcely know where to begin! Ive been a frequent customer dating back to when I was a kid in the 80s, when my dad would take me here for lunch in the summers. Ive been going back consistently ever since. Tom, Dave and Emily treat customers like family and pour love and originality into all their creations. Every single thing Ive had at Old Fashioned Italian Deli has been fantastic -- truly fantastic! Every ounce of freshly-sliced deli meat is selected to proportionately balance a given sandwich and obtain a flavorful harmony of perfection. (I remember talking to Dave about how long the Marilyn was in the making before it was released to their menu; it was years... YEARS!). Thats the sort of striving for perfection that is nearly impossible to find these days. Check them out if you havent; you absolutely cannot go wrong with ANY of their food, and their warm, friendly service is second-to-none. This place is a gem through and though!

We were hangry for some meatballs cause of the meme. We got 1 Sammy for two people since it was so expensive but there were only 2 meatballs!!! That’s not enough for 1 person even. Theyre doing a curb side pick up only. You have to order through their Facebook page. No mention of this or their Facebook on their website that dated 2012. I had to find out this when I got there. It shouldnt be a quest to get a sandwich. I cannot comment on food. I will check it out when they fully open if I am still in the area.

If I could give 10 stars I would! My Ex husband is second generation Italian American. His family migrated to Cleveland Ohios little Italy where my husband mother was born and he was born. So my ex knew Italian food. This was his go to here in Denver, so I can assume this is one of the BEST places for Italian deli style snadwiches! If you need a good Italian sub. I suggest this place 100%

I had the cool cucumber- phenomenal treat. The place is not a fast joint. Its a high quality food place. Tom makes amazing sandwiches. Its a family run place from what I saw. Fresh in house baked bread. Wonderful service with a smile. Great 50-60s tunes played while Marilyn Monroe surrounds you. Highly recommended. So many options, everyone will be pleased!

I have come by here twice in the past 6 months and eveytime it appears to be closed. No hours of operations so im not sure if im coming during the wrong times or if they are permanently closed?

Love this place, first time I ate here was back in the early 90s and it has always been amazing. They have some of the best customer sandwiches and the meat is to die for. They used to import from NY but not sure if they do anymore or not. Also if you love Marilyn Manroe they have pictures of her I gaurantee you have never soon.... This place is worth a visit if your in the area and worth the drive if your not!!

Dave and Tom the owners are AWESOME! Our company takes care of the heating and air equipment at the shop and my technicians RAVE about the food. Not to mention what nice/sweet people they are. Its TRULY a pleasure doing business with them. But more of a pleasure to eat their sammies!

An average sandwich shop with pictures of Marilyn Monroe everywhere. The bread was sub par. The Reuben is made with mustard and other spices instead of traditional sauce. The sandwich was on the salty side as well.Overall, the place is acceptable, but nothing special. I would not go out of my way to have it again.

Ive been going here to eat for close to twenty years and Dave has always been consistent with quality. Despite the decorations inside( which I love) and the not so fancy outer appearance. Dave makes the absolute best, hands down amazing sandwiches that are to die for. Im not sure what Ill do if he ever closes his doors. So go here and dont second guess anything about it. When you leave you will tell somebody about it guaranteed.

Ordered the Italian Beef and chips. Sandwich was doused in gravy, chips were soggy, bread was falling apart. Beef itself had very little flavor and needed more spice.Edit: To the Owner: My wife was born and raised in Chicago and comes from an Italian family. We love going to small family owned delis between Chicago and Denver and getting Italian Beef sandwiches. No one besides you serves the sandwich so wet unless asked or stated by the customer. I can name Italian three delis in the Denver area who make phenomenal beef. You should spend more on your deli and improving your sandwich then picking fights with customers online.

I absolutely love this place. I grew up in Buffalo New York and this is the only place in Colorado that serves quality Italian deli food. The staff is great and always friendly. Every time I go the food is better than the last time. My only regret is that I didnt find this place sooner.

I had The Godfather Sandwich. The bread was not fresh - it was cold. Maybe it’s COVID related. But I wasn’t impressed.

The food here is only the second best thing. The owner, and his son, provide over the top customer service and continue to strive to build relationships with their customers. Highly recommended is the Godfather sandwich. Trust me!

I am from Chicago and my husband is from Massachusetts, we have eaten Italian beef sandwiches in New York, Boston, Chicago, and Denver and this was one of our favorites so far. Worth a 45 minute drove from Parker.Plus, whoever responds to the google reviews is hilarious, sometimes it’s nice when someone says what we are all *really* thinking. 😂

As authentic an old fashioned Italian deli can be this side of the Mississippi. No shareholders here. I love the hand sliced to order cold cut sandwiches. The home made pizza sauce. As you enter you flash back to another time. Marilyn Monroe memorabilia has been ejected from out if time and space to adorn every nook and cranny. A family owned and operated establishment. Where three generations greet you like family. Its a rare kind of place like a little slice of eastern America culture cut out of time and pasted in littleton Colorado. My first sandwich was a number 2. Sausage and peppers and onion melted cheese and drenched in sauce. It was the early 90s and I can order the same thing today and it hasnt changed a bit.

As a lifelong WNY resident (if you are from there, you know what that means) I cannot believe that I had not discovered this place until just recently. Had my first visit and have every intention of returning. I went with something simple, a turkey club sandwich on a hoagie roll. Came out exactly like I was back in the Buf. Cant seem to get a quality sandwich around in Denver the way that they are made back home, this place however, delivered! Great accompanying pasta salad to boot. Super friendly service. Appears to be a family run business which to me translates into giving a damn about each item made (not some teen, bored to death constantly wanting to check their cell phone). Definitely recommend giving this place a try, especially if you are a transplant to CO looking for that east coast food experience. Cant wait to try the pizza.

This place is good. I would take a picture of the awesome sandwich I ordered but it didnt last long enough for me to do that. Pasta salad was also really good. Quantity and quality for the price was fantastic. People next to us ordered lasagna and it was a huge order - also looked really good.

Places like this are an argument for being able to give negative stars. Dont believe the hours on Yelp or Google maps (they have no hours at all on their website).They evidently close whenever they feel like. Yelp said 4 pm on a Saturday (as did google). I got there at 3 and they were closed.Hard to believe someone is dumb enough to think that makes good business sense! You can take the chance that someone that stupid makes good food, Ill pass!

Came across this little spot while working in the area and decided to stop in. I had never heard of a deli style Philly cheese steak, but I ordered it anyway. The nice young lady brought out my plate and to my surprise the sandwich was smothered in pasta sauce! This is not what I was expecting, but I definitely wasnt against it, I took that knife and fork and dug in. So tasty! Only reason Im rating 4 stars is because it was a bit expensive for the size of the sandwich. Also the restaurant was old and showing its age, maybe time for a remodel.

Family owned deli, fresh ingredients and cuts, awesome collaboration father / son team working efficiently and effectively, this place always has a line and they deliver time after time. Place is a blast thru the past walking into it doesnt look like much but try the sandwiches and youll be blown away by the authenticity and quality !THIS PLACE IS SO CONSISTENT

Exactly what a deli sandwich should be, and honestly one of my all time favorites. Nothing necessarily special in the preparation, just quality meat and ingredients and plenty of them. I happily drive out of my whenever Im this far south to stop by. The owners/staff are also incredibly friendly.Personal favorite: the Consigliere (the prosciutto and eggplant on it are so good)

Loved this place. Upon entry I was immediately wisked off to the east coast with the decor and demeanor of everything. Small tables and only a handful at that. Where it shines is the food of course. A seemingly endless amount of sandwiches to try. And that challenge is definitely accepted.

The reviews about fantastic food and friendly service are no exaggeration. I was quickly greeted upon waking in, and ordered a Godfather, perhaps the best sampling of the amazing meats here. This sandwich has over 1/2 lb. of high quality deli meats, a big lunch! I can definitely say I feel spoiled by todays lunch.The pasta salad is a marvel in itself: mixed pastas, lightly oiled and seasoned, with chunks of those same amazing meats tossed in. A full-sized lunch, at a reasonable price, and better than any chain deli by far... I will be frequenting this place from now on.

1st time there, we are pretty new to Colorado and have had the pleaser to eat all over the U.S and I must say this is one of the best Italian delis I have been to and not just the food but the staff was extremely friendly. I left my choice of sandwich up to the waitress and had no idea what I was getting. I was not even close to disappointed with it and. I will be returning for sure at least once a week.
