We’ve always had a great experience at this Christy’s location. Jay is great and helped my wife and I get fitted for boots and skis. I’ve feel confident that everyone here has your best interest in mind and wants you to be happy with your purchase. I also appreciate that they’re not pushy when it comes to their sales approach. I highly recommend going to see them for all your ski needs.
It’s not often that I write a review, but I feel the need to share. As soon as I entered the store, I was warmly greeted by staff members going about their day. They immediately made me feel welcome. After some time browsing around, looking at different bindings, skis and boots, Gordy came over to me to give me a helping hand with my decision on which ones to buy. He was absolutely fantastic! He was knowledgeable about every single product, and helped me find exactly what I was looking for, all while working within the constraints of a budget.I couldn’t be happier with my experience, and with the awesome new equipment that I purchased.Thanks so much!
My husband has had good experiences with Christys in the past and sent me there to check out their sale as I was in need of new ski gear. I initially had a good experience with Kyle who helped me choose new skis and bindings. I planned to return to purchase boots. However, when I returned and began looking at the sale racks that are out in the open (and now knew my size from being measured by Kyle prior), an employee came up and as he pushed in beside me says Excuse me, while literally stepping in front of me to access the rack. I quickly moved as I didnt want to be in the way if I was and quickly realized I wasnt in the way as there was plenty of space to access the rack but he didnt want me standing there. He said, you know, you should really start by getting your foot measured and talking to someone who can help you. I replied that I had already had my foot measured by a store employee and wanted to look at the options there. I said, Am I not allowed to look? To which he replied, you can look but Im trying to get boots for MY customer. Well newsflash, Im also a customer who already spent over $600 at this store and was about to buy boots. It was a busy time due to the sale and minutes later another employee was pushy in asking me about boots and getting me to talk to someone who can help. I appreciate good and attentive quality service but please listen and let people browse if they want. Furthermore, if you dont want customers looking/accessing products (sale or otherwise) dont put them out or put up a sign! This felt similar to a car buying experience. Im happy with the equipment I purchased but the negative experience was unnecessary and will impact my future shopping decisions with this store.
Went in to get a new board, bindings, boots and other essentials last night. Shane was AMAZING! He took the time to really go over everything. We never felt rushed, even though they closed while we were there and he made no mention of us needing to hurry. He knows his stuff and was beyond helpful. Everyone I’ve worked with at this store has been awesome. Highly recommend!
Unmatched service today at Christys. Kyle was a great educator to someone buying their first set of ski boots and helped me find the perfect pair. The rest of the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. I went for the powder daze sale which I’m sure is one of the busiest weekends of the year for this staff, it was crazy and they all managed it incredibly well. Staff made sure I was taken care of in every part of the store I walked through. Not to mention the great deal I got on the boots!The staff at the unnamed ski shop around doesn’t compare to this.

HORRIBLE PATIO SERVICEI had a good past experience buying skis from the shop in Cherry Creek, so we decided to purchase a cantilever umbrella from the Littleton store. The store associate seemed knowledgeable about the products/process and given the COVID back log we were comfortable with the 10 week delivery time frame. The store has made zero effort to update the customer on delivery timing. 10 weeks has now turned into 19 weeks and the only updates I get are after calling the store two to three times every few weeks. We were told at 14 weeks we would have the umbrella on your patio next week for the store only to later learn they had the umbrella, but not the base in their warehouse. After fumbling the process so badly you would think the company would go the extra mile to get the delivery out to the customer, but no, I am now told I have to wait a week - to now after Labor Day - to receive my umbrella. Absolutely DO NOT give this store your patio business.
My family had just the best rental experience ever! The staff at this location is second to none. Jay and chuck helped me and my family get set up for our daughters first experience skiing and snowboarding. They made us feel very comfortable and the kids absolutely loved chuck! Kid jokes for days!!! They set us up with all we needed in no time and would recommend seeing these 2 fabulous cats anytime you need anything! Very knowledgeable and fun! Will be back 100%
Prices were very high for being their “summer” sale. very limited selection and felt like a mad house going in there. black friday feeling walking in. as if covid never existed haha! beautiful snowboards and accessories

I recently dropped by to pick up some rental skis. Staff was helpful, even though I didnt have an appointment they were able to get me set up. Only reason for the four star is the selection of winter clothing was surprisingly limited. Thought they would have more, couldnt find anything I wanted.
Travis was extremely helpful in me finding a board that fit me. He was super knowledgeable about the different style boards and how each of them would work for me. So extremely helpful and patient!!! Phenomenal customer service
This is the 4th place we went to purchase boots and skis and WOW finally an amazing experience. Matt, the store manager, helped me navigate boots and gave great advice based on my feet and experience as well as how often/where I planned to ski. We ended up leaving with boots, insoles, skis, bindings, poles and socks for an amazing price. I am so happy! Thanks Christy Sports, Matt and his team for a great experience and a happy skier!
The staff were super nice and friendly! I reserved the premium package online (you save 20%) for 3 days and picked up my skis the evening before I went to the mountain. They worked great and the sizing was perfect! I ended up only skiing 1/3 days since the mountains ran out of reservation spots, and was able to return my skis early and Christy refunded for the 2 days I was unable to use them, which was awesome! 10/10 reccomend this location or any location great staff and energy, and quality of skis!

Awesome ski shop. They have some the best prices on gear and equipment. Some deals are only available online, but totally worth it. I ordered a helmet online and they had free shipping with it. Definitely recommend stopping here for your winter sporting gear.
Update 9/2/19Same great experience today on a very hot Labor Day. I ended up getting the A-basin 5 Pass, a Copper Mountain Six Pass, and renewed the Steamboat 3 pass. Hope to get that much skibiking in this coming winter.2018 review:Went today for Powder Daze pass sale event. (Sunday). Got there around 1pm. The place was busy. There was a line for the Ikon Pass booth and Copper Mountain. The lines were really long when I left. Everything was done electronically on a tablet at the Ikon booth for Steamboat, Winter Park, or the Ikon. Nothing was printed out. One has to set up an Ikon account with a password and then choose a pass product. The passes will be mailed later. One must upload a picture profile that is in focus and shows ones face. Not sure how other ski resorts passes worked. The gear sale prices were pretty good.
After visiting several local ski/snowboard shops, we went to Christys in Littleton. Shane helped me find my first snowboard. He was super knowledgeable about everything snowboarding related, and he explained things in laymans terms so that even a snowboarding novice, such as myself, was able to understand. I ended up purchasing my board, bindings, boots, and some arch supports from Shane. We arrived at the shop an hour prior to closing. At previous shops, we have experienced sales representatives rushing us/delaying pick up of products because of arriving this close to closing time. Shane was super patient; he even custom cut my arch supports and installed my bindings 20 minutes after the store closing time. I tried my new gear out this weekend, and am so in love with it! We have already referred some of our friends to see Shane at Christys in Littleton. We will purchase more items at the store in the future as well.
These guys are great! Fixed the AFD on my binding super quick and took less than 24 hours to tune my skis and my gf’s board - CHEAPER AND FASTER than REI. Thank you!
I went in to rent a pair of boots on two separate occasions. The first time the staff was friendly and easy to talk to. On the second however, I found that the staffer that helped me was gruff, condescending, and altogether unfriendly. The prices are still competitive but its hard for me to get past that one experience
I went in to this store on March 24th looking to find skis (turns out they don’t sell any) only to be greeted by an extremely rude and snarky employee who snickered and me and said “yeah bro, you can’t buy skis in the summer time, can you” after I simply implied about buying skis. He was extremely rude and ruined my perception for the company (I might add that I have rented and purchased skis from other locations before).
Terrible experience with their online purchasing. Ordered ski pants that came with shoplifting tags attached and it has taken weeks of phone calls emails and texts to get them to respond. Even now a full week after returning still no refund. They are probably good in person but DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM ONLINE!
The customer service here is nothing short of amazing. We had a terrible experience at evo Denver and were happy to drop a decent amount of money on snowboard boots, skis, bindings, and apparel at a store that actually cares about its customers. The sale prices are also much better than other places. Well be back for other purchases and recommend this location to friends.

Fixed the straps better than new...lift in heel done right n boot fit so well now! while waiting I found skis that I NEEDED...my 3rd set from Christy! And two sets of poles for way better pricing than online...and skis waxed n tuned perfectly!Staff is so helpful n friendly. Jay goes far beyond to ensure great boot fit...n for his hard work n great prices...I return again n again!So super impressed!

Ive been going here for 20+ years. Staff here are very friendly. Most all are skiers/boarders too. The service is why I go back. All staff are very personable.. I highly recommend asking for Larry if you are getting a boot fitting. He saw that my original, custom boot fitting was done incorrectly, and so he fit me again properly; making good on their boot fit guarantee, but really going above and beyond. Larry also counseled me on other wear and care aspects and was genuinely helpful. Thats not what you get typically from a corporate store in my experience. The staff have always treated me well there.

Went in this weekend to do a ski rental for the season and ended up looking at boots to make the investment and make the learning to ski process a little easier on my feet. JAY was amazing, so patient, did the full feet measurement and had me test out a few different options of boots to find the best fit for me. For being there for over an hour selecting the right boots, doing the fitting for insoles and the boot liner, it was a great experience. He also took me right over with my new boots to get me settled with skis for the year, instead of passing me off to someone else. Really appreciate the time spent and knowledge shared in getting me off on the right start. Will definitely be back for future ski needs, thank you Jay, you were awesome!

Many years ago, I purchased a Casual Classics chaise lounge from Christy Sports and Patio Furniture.Recently, I noticed that one of the wheel tires was cracking and had deteriorated (I attributed this to weather). In trying to figure out how to repair or replace the tire or entire wheel, I called Casual Classics. The man I spoke with suggested that I call Christy Sports and see what they might recommend.So, I e mailed Christy Sports, and Jay Richey immediately responded asking for any chaise lounge information I might have and, if possible, include pictures of the lounge and the damaged tire.I was able to send pictures, but I had not kept the invoice or descriptive information related to this piece of furniture. (I think it was purchased around 2001 or so.)Upon receiving the pictures, Mr. Richey responded quickly. He thanked me and told me that he would contact the stores warehouse and see if a replacement could be found.Given the age of the chaise lounge, I didnt feel too optimistic that a replacement would be available.However, to my surprise, this morning a package was placed on my front porch and in it were two, new chaise lounge wheels that perfectly matched the finish on my chaise lounge.I was delighted! I immediately wrote to Mr. Richey because I did not know who sent the wheels, and I wanted to offer my thanks and find out whom I should pay since no bill had been included.He, once again, very graciously responded and told me that there was no charge for the wheels and that he was happy that he had been able to resolve my problem.Jay Richeys thoughtful attention to this matter, in a time of often disappointing customer service, is remarkable and very much appreciated!I highly recommend Christy Sports!
Went to purchase new snowboard boots for my wife, as were pretty avid boarders and she wore out her old ones. We were helped by an excellent employee named Shane. His depth of knowledge on the subject got my wife into a perfect new pair of boots. He also helped me to realize my own boots, that I’ve been wearing for years, are the wrong size. He helped me find the perfect boots as well as taught me some new things about snowboard technology. Long story short we walked out of there with a new board as well and my wife couldn’t be happier.

I wanted to give a quick shout out to Shane in the snowboard section. My brother and I were at EPIC Mountain in Littleton buying boots however, they had my size and not my brothers. We went over to Christy Sports to find him boots and Shane was helping us out who was very knowledgeable and personable. Shane was THAT GOOD where I felt like my experience 30 minutes earlier buying boots was extremely rushed & mishandled. I had Shane size me up as well and ended up buying 2 pairs of boots from him. I drove back across the street and returned the purchases made at Epic. Kudos to Shane for getting us fitted with the right gear!
Roy at Christy Sports went above and beyond to help us, a couple women from Florida, with the perfect boards/skis! He always greeted us with a smile. Overall, we would HIGHLY recommend visiting Christy’s.

Took my skis in after a minor binding break. Even though the rental/tune shop was full of people for rentals I was helped right away. The guy took my skis back and had them fixed in 30 seconds free of charge. Christy has always had the best staff and I will not take my skis anywhere else!

Rented my daughter and I boards, boots and bindings for for the 19/20 snowboarding season. Service was great, giant selection of other gear to make your trip to the slopes amazing. If you are (or want to be) a snowboarder or skier this is a great place to get geared up.
We recently rented equipment from the Littleton location. It was our first trip to the mountains in many years and the first time my kids had ever been skiing. We were immediately greeted and a second associate came to help us upon entering the rental equipment area. They were very friendly and provided great feedback and advice.
I am highly pleased with the customer service at this location. One employee in particular has superb knowledge and understand of snowboard equipment. Shane was very accommodating with the warrenty on my boots and has extensive knowledge of the snowboard industry as a whole. I would definitely consider myself a hardcore snowboarder and Christy sports has won my business due to his actions alone.

We went during their Powder Daze sale. An absolute nut house of people were there. However Christy Sports had staffed the event perfectly and had enough employees on-hand to assist everyone. I was blown away with how well this store handled the influx of people during this sale.

Exceptional experience. The team is very knowledgeable and incredibly helpful for a newbie skier ...Definitely still a big shop, but no complaints for that. If youre looking for boutique this is probably not for yo.BUT if you want a place with a ton of variety with fair prices and good people that seem to care and know what theyre talking about, this is the place for you.
We came in to check out Powder Daze, their big pre-season sale. Awesome selection of ski gear. Im not one to hit the slopes, but IA lot of the great applies to cold weather hiking, too. Very helpful associates. They carry the higher price items, but you very much get what you pay for.

I came back to Christy Sports because I bought my boots hear 11 years ago and I have never worn a bit that fit so well. I wanted to see if I needed new inserts and to get my skis waxed and tuned. Jay and the guys took great care of me! If my knees hold out on Sunday after skiing for the first time in 5 years, I will be back to see Jay and upgrade my equipment!

I went here today with my wife for the annual Powder Daze sale. The sale was very good, and somehow they managed to have ample salespeople in the store to help. Tom helped us, and he was AMAZING... Very knowledgeable and friendly. Good equipment lasts for years, and I feel comfortable that we got some very good stuff.
I just left their Presidents day sale and saved big $ on name brand ski wear. I was able to pick up a great snowboard jacket, top and bottom base layer, socks and Buff head gear for crazy low $. The best customer service experience Ive had in probably 20 years. This is what customer service used to be. Ron spent nearly 3 hours with me getting me outfitted for the new season with custom-fitted ski boots & insoles, gloves, helmet, goggles, etc.. SO INCREDIBLY GLAD I STOPPED HERE LAST! I will never shop anywhere else. Thanks Ron!
I rented a demo package of the K2 Pinnacle skis. We called ahead to find the best time to show up to arrange the demo rentals. All went just fine - quick and efficient service. I had a good time trying out these skis. Returning them was as easy as it can be. My only comment was that I dont think the skis were waxed, or if they were, the wax was really poor as the skis didnt glide very well. The bottom of the one of the skis was a bit marred and could have used to be fixed. Maybe Im expecting too much of rental skis; I dont know. But other than that the experience was very positive and I would rent another demo from the store again.
I called ahead to check stock for a new set of skis. The helpful front desk staff put a quick hold on them with no hassle. Upon arrival I was promptly greeted taken to my skis and Tim, the store manager, personally went through options for bindings.Their stock of boots and skis was great, in fact, they were the only place I could find the Rossignol Soul 7s in stock. I forgot my ski socks for trying stuff on, the store manager was awesome and comped me a pair.Tim had an excellent knowledge of their stock and found the perfect set of boots for my wide feet. After a custom fit, he finished up my skis while I waited. All in all, I had an excellent experience and would recommend Christys, especially this location, and Tim, to anyone.
Incompetent and or lazy technician at this location incorrectly remounted a ski binding resulting in one of the bindings to fall off the ski when skiing. Fortunately my adult soon did not get injured. A technician at the Christys in Steamboat where my son was skiing when this happened remounted the binding with a helicoil which he said should have been done in the first place. This was also the recommendation of the tech at the Christys in Boulder. When informed of the poor work of the technician at this store, the manager Matt claimed they did nothing wrong despite the evidence of what the two other technicians told us. Poorly managed store. Please do not risk getting injured if you need ski maintenance, repair work or rentals.Update 1/19/2020: I contacted the regional manager as the owner requested after posting this review. Dennis told me that Matt thought he could have handled the situation better but did not give specifics. There was no apology and Dennis actually defended the technician who incorrectly mounted the binding that pulled out even though his tech at the Steamboat Christy store told us it was not correctly mounted. Really disappointing and a waste of time talking to Dennis. After recently purchasing a new set of skis and bindings, I contacted Epic Mountain Sports and REI. Both places charge $50 for mounting. Christy sports charges $75 which is what I paid for the bad mounting. I should have compared prices before.
I started snowboarding about 20 years ago, and I always had cold, cramped and miserable feet. After spending 12 years in the Army and going on many deployments to Afghanistan and Iraq, I decided to get back into the sport. With the memory of cold feet and hours of discomfort in my early snowboarding years, I went to Christy Sports in Littleton in hopes of finding a pair of boots that would change my previous experiences. I rarely take the time to write reviews, but I have never experienced customer service at the caliber that I did with Shane, who helped me. Not only was he more than kind, polite, and courteous to me, my wife and my mother, he explained in detail each dynamic of how snowboarding boots function. He helped me find a pair of boots that actually were comfortable, as well as fitting a custom sole for my foot. I want to recognize and highly praise Shane. In a fast paced industry, where its easy to pawn off expensive or mediocre equipment on unwitting customers, it was uniquely refreshing to experience an individual that was not only knowledgeable, but also kind. Thank you Shane, my feet are happy and Im very grateful.

I always get excellent service at this location when I rent equipment. Ive been skiing for many years, and usually have trouble with boots fitting correctly. the technician who helped me gave me a few pointers to help, and he made my day of skiing much more enjoyable. Their extended hours on Friday allow people to make it to the store before a weekend on the slopes. I have nothing bad to say!

I am rented skis for my two young daughters. By getting everything set up on line before had is wonderful. We show up our ski packages for both girls are ready. We try on the boots to make sure they are a good fit and we are out the door ready to go the next morning. The process is so simple and the people working there are friendly and helpful.

Bought my first snowboard set and gear here and couldnt have been happier with the employees and selection/prices they had to offer. I was there for over an hour finding the right selection and the employees were very patient and helpful. My boot felt painfully small, brought them in and they heat molded them and said if I still feel great pain from the boots I could bring them back and get a better size. Nothing but good things about this place!
I called to track down a receipt for a warranty purpose and Roy was awesome. He quickly located my receipt and emailed it to me right away. Great customer service. Thanks Roy!
Bought a pair of new Salomon Snowboard boots at last years PowderDaze and the BOA snapped off while on my foot. Shane got me the warranty and even saved my insoles that I left in the boots. He got me back in on this PowderDaze and personally fit me for my new boots. Overall great experience and appreciate Shanes willingness to keep me updated and help me out with my snowboard boots.

The demo skis were fantastic, but the person we picked up from was absolutely rude to my wife and I. Having skied only for the past 3 years, I just had a few questions about how tight the bindings would be based on the level I chose, and a question about the skis, but the person servicing us just didn’t want to have any of it and made sarcastic comments. Very disappointing customer service. Will go somewhere else moving forward.
Very easy to make reservation online, service to pick up was good, I was in and out within a few minutes, very easy to return. My only negative comment was store just need sto stay open later 7pm is too early on Saturday. But the positive about this, I was there the next day in the am and returned everything with no problem.

Kind of disorganized. Theyre inventory said my size of pants was in store, but they couldnt find it. Not the best individual attention when selecting gear. I like the store on University blvd better. They have a bigger selection of gear and offer better customer service.

Decent selection of gear, but based on what I heard from sales staff both in demeanor and content I wouldn’t go here. The guy working boots told a lady that there were no options for customizing a boot and also told her there were no options for her small foot and leg. Breaks my heart to see people handing out poor information and potentially getting in the way of enjoying the sport. It didn’t improve things that he was a total jerk except for it (hopefully) being a motivator to find advice elsewhere. There was a delightful and helpful young lady there which helped and was redeeming.Update: the store manager called and wanted to hear what was going on and seemed to take a genuine interest in what was happening. Maybe their boot guy had a bad day... who knows. So I guess my review would be go ahead and go there if you’re wanting a selection of gear and aren’t needing special attention.

We rented ski equipment for our Spring break ski vacation in Vail and everything worked great. Very good service and better prices. Definitely will rent again
I always buy my ski hardware locally and Christies is the best at service and price. I watch the sales and on my purchases of top line ski, boots, bindings were cheaper here than equivalent items on amazon where they can only try to win on price. The service for boot fit at time of sale and later adjustments was quick and expert. Amazon does not do fitting! Boot fit / comfort is critical for skiing, boots connect your body to the ski sport.I did Loveland demo day for $50 in Nov and had race car pit stop like ski changes for 14 ski models I tried. Free lunch and a free beer at days end. Sales folks do there best to advise you everwhere, but a demo is best way to mate you to equipment. Then I was given a coupon for $150 off a purchase of skis with bindings at Christies which was $200 lower than Amazon for the same package total, plus the best fit and service ever.I attend Powder Daze each Labor day for clothing and accessories I destroy the previous year, good last years stuff, good prices. We get the VIP invite to Powder Daze every year and spend money at the event. Ive bought a lot of gear here that was heavily discounted for my wife, kids and myself over the years. This year we shopped gear but only bought lift tickets. Overall I do like Christy Sports. They typically have deals on demo skis at the end of every season. Well be back

Parking lot was crowded. Store was jumping. Lots of staff to help out. Deals and sales on everything. No wait and very quick and easy to buy passes at Powder Daze at stations in back of the store now through September 4. The usual annual deals on ski packages, great prices.
After using them for the last two years for season rentals I was hoping for the same quick, accommodating service Ive had in the past. This year when I went to for my usual season rental they told me I had to use their standard package for the season and I could not do a performance package like in the past. I was told by the unfriendly hipster behind the counter that the equipment I used last season was only available for daily rentals this year.I went to Happy Sport near Kipling and Chatfield and they were most accommodating.Its too bad that my experience with Christy Sports went from pretty darn good to pretty darn bad in one visit.
