I didnt buy anything but checked out the store. Plenty of employees offering assistance and the shelves seemed to be well stocked. Quite a selection of items and even a large gift section in front.

Love shopping in the newest Ace Hardware in our area but I am distressed to find that none of the employees wear masks. With Covid 19 on the rise this is not a wise decision.

Very clean and nice, however the lack of knowledge displayed by employees is a bit disheartening.

I needed help finding parts for my swamp cooler and the guys there were wonderful and helpful.

They are the new guys on the block and they have everything and I love it. Ive been there several times and got everything I needed each time. They are friendly and always help and thats huge because Im a senior citizen and a veteran.

Without question one of the best Ace hardwares to go to. they always have a lot of people working theyre all very friendly and its the cleanest Ace store around. The front end manager is also very helpful and courteous. Definitely recommend this place

1/27 @2pm. Nice store, but the female manager walks around with her mask half off or under her chin. I didnt and shodnt have to ask her to correct such. Guess shes more important than everyone else

Always been an Ace fan, always will be! So happy for the 2nd store, same great service and variety! I prefer to support local business and they give you every reason to not go anywhere else.The gift shop gets a 5 star rating if its own!!!

Love this store! It is a very large store and it is very well laid out. If I need a nut, bolt or anything else for the house I make sure to stop at Ace first!

My company works as a restoration and remodeling contractor for residential and commercial properties, and I am one of the project managers. We recently had a large restoration order for a residential project, and needed some window screens repaired (re-screening, framing damage, etc.); the project consisted of over 40 window screens. After calling 4 different companies that dealt with window screens in the area, I tried to call this Ace. Zane, Andrew and a few others proceeded to help me get the project finished within a weeks time, and even tweaked 2 of the frames after they didnt fit right when I tried to reinstall them. All and all, they saved me over $800 [on average] based on the other quotes I received. Very professional, very accommodating. If you need any help with your projects (especially re-screening for windows and doors), these guys will take care of you - I will definitely be returning with our future screen jobs. 10/10, would HIGHLY recommend.

I was excited to have an ACE near me and to support a local business. It is clean and bright. I went in for speaker wire. They did not have want I wanted and the sales clerk talked me into an alternative. The wire did not work for my application and I took it back for a return. They would not take a return, not even store credit. I will NEVER shop there again. I will drive past it on my way to Home Depot

They dont always have what I am looking for, but the staff is always friendly and helpful.

Since theyre closer than a big box store, I dont mind paying a little extra, besides they have pretty much everything Im looking for. There is always someone there asking you if they can help you find what you need, not common at other places.

The store itself is nice. I believe theres a lot of room for improvement with the staff. Theyre always well over staffed!However, Ive been in probably a dozen times, every time masks are down and nobody ever asks me if I need assistance.Theres teenage boys in Ace hardware clothes grouped up all over having social hour and do not ask a single customer if they need help, every single time I go in. Rather odd that management hasnt straightened that out.

Ace is the place. Better shopping experience then going to Home depot

If there was a rating less than zero I would give it but to record i give one star. Made a $900 purchase over a week ago. Item has never been used as the unit was described to me as a defective unit by a manufacture supervisor. ACE Store Manager agreed to pick up defective unit and leave a new unit at a date and time 5 days in the future. Made arrangements to be available, 15 minutes after the time past called and the Asst. Manager, Managers brother, stated they can not make that time or date and maybe the next day. Would not commit to a time. He also contradicted his brother the manager on other aspects of the agreement he made with me. Asst. Manager brother started to make unfounded personal allegations. The worst management of a retailer ever experienced. I do not say this lightly, but based on my experience I have never experienced such a lack of customer service and integrity. Next is a report to the manufacturer and ACE Corporate.

Great new location. Talk ceiling and open store is more spacious than others I have shopped. Clean and well stocked building. Great customer service with plenty of associates to help even with how busy they were. Large parking lot with plenty of open spots so you will never have to fight for one.

We went to the BIG, NEW Chatfield Ace hardware store today!Super clean & fully stocked which was great but totally blown away by the excellent customer service! Alex the assistant manager was one of the nicest, most friendly guy you’d ever want to meet!The rest of his staff went above & beyond to do anything they could to help us out too.Very knowledgeable in the paint dept. which we were very grateful for!5 stars all around & the ONLY Ace we will be patronizing from now on!

Usually I walk into any Ace and I got workers all over me. This store I walked past several red shirts and got nothing, they were chatting with each other, no one checked on me while I was digging through the nuts and bolts. Never did find anything but fortunately theres 2 more stores 10 minutes away I can go to

This store ROCKS! Every employee is so nice and helpful! The managers are right there on the floor ready to help and the gift department is awesome!Im so glad ACE has moved into my neighborhood!

I went in to pick up a couple items, the manager and at least one other employee were not wearing masks. I work in retail and us wearing masks was a requirement to reopen. I know it hasn’t changed so why would you not wear one? The cashier was wearing a mask and he was very nice.

I ordered a very hard to locate suncast shed, paid for it with gift cards and the balance on a credit card that was charged. 2 days later we drove down to Denver from Grand Lake to pick it up (120 miles one way) While driving I called the store to make sure it was ready, I was told by an employee that he would check and call me back within 15 minutes, after 30 minutes no call back, I called again and spoke with the same employee who states the manager had my order and would have an answer for me. I was put on hold at which time the call dropped...?????Within 2-3 minutes I had an email stating the order was cancelled...My husband then called and spoke with Nick the manager only to find out that due to unbelievably poor inventory management they had sold the shed I had paid for to another customer!!!!This is TERRIBLE STORE MANAGEMENT AND INVENTORY CONTROL!!!!!!Then the fun began again, the gift cards were now at a 0 balance, they would not and stated could not put the money back onto the gifts cards $450 worthI was told only corporate could do that, so basically a massive screw up starting with Chatfield AceIt took over a week and numerous phone calls to corporate to reimburse the funds to the gift cards

This was the worst in-store pickup experience Ive had from any store (not just ACE), period - Ive been doing this often, esp. lately with Covid. Had placed an order hoping to save time, but never got an order ready email and had to call the location repeatedly to check on the order. They finally told me to just come and theyd have it ready, but when I arrived one of the items wasnt there [I did end up getting an order update email saying one item wasnt available, but never got an order ready email]. This all despite the fact that they seemed to have many employees around a pretty empty store.Quite a while later, I realized that the item they didnt have was never cancelled - so Ive still paid for an item I never received. Maybe they didnt cancel it assuming it would come in on a later shipment, but I never received an order ready email at any point. Trying to figure it out with customer service at this point is not fun - avoid in-store pickup at this location!

I have shopped here more than a few times and I like the store layout and they are helpful and friendly, need to stock more lawn products, inventory is often low, other wise great store!

I walked in, and knew what I was looking for, the staff went above and beyond helping me find the stuff I needed. They made me feel cared for as a buyer and assured me that if it didn’t work to come back and see them. I will go out of my way to visit this store again. Thank you Ace Hardware in Chatfield!

Called before I came and was told they probably had what I was looking for and got there and they didnt have anything like it. They did really try to help me find what I needed. They have less options than many other larger stores and higher prices. Probably wont return, but they seem ok if they are a close drive.
