Me and my friend went here for coffee and to chat. Once we sat at the table after our purchase, we were asked for covid vaccination cards, wear a mask, or leave. I am vaccinated but it was our first time at this location. Would I have known they ask for this I would have taken my vax card. I would just avoid this place overall in the future due to us having to leave since we were unaware of the required proof or obligated masks inside.
I typically frequent the Highlands Ranch location, but due to renovations there I decided to head down here and Im happy I did. Ive since been back a handful of times and each visit has been exemplary in terms of service, selection, and professionalism. The staff are incredibly friendly and easy to chat with. Ill likely continue to visit this location periodically moving forward and highly recommend others do too. Im also stoked to report that they have recently extended their hours, as well.
Great place! Nice staff, good game selection, nice location, yummy (and cheap!) snacks, I had a great time! I like the open room design; gaming feels pleasant, here. Will definitely come again!
Been coming here many years to purchase games and coffee, was even an event organizer for the Littleton location for awhile. This place is fantastic to game at! Always helpful staff. Management understands how a business works and takes great care of its local communities. Wish I didnt live so far away, but still come back whenever I can. Thanks for being awesome :)
Do not shop here!!!!! If I could give 0 starts I would, a friend and I was going to get some cards he had called about 1 1/2 hours prior to ariving on bus and was told that the cards would be ready when we got there. When we got there the staff member that helped us basically told us we were S.O.L. cause the only person that was not there from earlier was the big manager and he said that the manager would never say the cards would be ready that fast. I will never be back I will take my business elsewhere.
This is one of my favorite places in the world. The staff here have some of the best attitudes and advice! They actually play the games they sell. Their cafe food and coffee is awesome too!! Please tip them well, and buy all the games you can!! Keep them in business forever!!
Used to be my favorite game store but they have implemented a discriminatory Covid policy for indoor seating. Even though Im fully vaccinated, I will not support a business that requires proof of my medical history. Policies like this are the literal Othering of people, and I will not help create a society like that. I frequently play indoor games with my unvaccinated friends because I know my vaccine works. Not only does this policy pander to hypochondriacs, but it erodes the public trust of the very effective vaccines themselves. This attempt to create germ-free spaces is absurd, delusional, unattainable, and those implementing and supporting it seem to be part of this new Safetyism cult. Which I wont support. There is also a huge racial disparity in Colorado among those who have received the jab. So this policy hurts the effort of creating a diverse and inclusive space. The owner is well within his rights to have a vaccine requirement. But Ill be taking my business elsewhere.
We love both this location and the Highlands Ranch location. This is a fabulous local business. We miss our weekend family game nights, but are so excited that in store dining is opening back up! Even better, they are taking COVID-19 seriously and working to keep everyone safe. As soon as our 11 yo is vaccinated, well be back to game nights! ❤️❤️❤️
I usually go to the other one but decided to try this one out cause my friend needed to sell his magic cards. Needless to say I wont be back. The female employee (forgot her name) was so helpful and insightful but when we went back to pick up the cards they wouldnt buy the employee who helped us was confrontational at best. He was rather rude and instead of explaining things he basically called my friend a liar. The owner is amazing and reached out to my friend to smooth things over. I will continue to support this shop but will never come to this branch again.
Such a cool place! They have a large variety of board games and I was surprised to see they had a few board games that are hard to find, but still being sold at a fair price. Will definitely be returning
I usually love going to this place, really nice staff and welcoming. Today however, my boyfriend went to checkout the items we wanted while I got us drinks. The guy checking my boyfriends items out was being extremely rude for no reason, completely uncalled for. It left my boyfriend and I feeling sour about this place. Very disappointing.
My husband and I came here to look at their war machine and hordes models. There was an employee who was building new tables in the corner where the models are kept and he was making conversation with me and my husband about our 2 kiddos we had with us. He never stopped working on his project, but just made casual conversation while he worked. When we were just about done and getting ready to leave, another employee walked up to us and told us that we needed to keep our kids away from that corner because he didn’t want the other guy to be disturbed. Our kids are 2 years and 6 months. I was holding our 6 month old while my 2 year old was looking at stuff with my husband, he just likes to be included in stuff. He was not running around uncontrollably, he stayed right next to my husband and never once tried touching the table that was being built or the tools that were being used. I just feel like it was a little uncalled for. You’d think they want to build customer relationships through small talk while getting their work done. Also the pumpkin pie coffee wasn’t that great.
Great neighborhood coffee and game store. Love stopping in for coffee and browsing all the great games. Even picked up a great game today for this weekends road trip. Staff is always wonderful and welcoming!
This is the smaller Enchanted Grounds store, the little brother store to the larger place off South Colorado Boulevard. It seems like a very nice coffee shop and gaming establishment, but the comics section is very small. A few new comics, a few trades. Thats all. Visit this place for coffee, or good-looking bakery items, or gaming - but not for comics. You could try nearby stores like Vision Comics or Aamazing Fantasy for a better selection, and especially for back issues.
Best gaming shop around. Whether you want to play/buy games, D&D, other tabletop, get a coffee, or need some new dice... You found the right spot! Whatever you need, the environment is great and the people are awesome!
My favorite coffee shop in the southwest suburbs. I like the overall ambiance, and the interior is large enough to support gamers without feeling crowded.
Awesome staff, great game selection. Really happy this place is nearby
I really like going to Enchanted Grounds. But I have to have a hip replacement and right now all thats available is outdoor seating, which is fine. However, the chairs outside are extremely painful for me right now. I asked if I could take a regular chair outdoors while I was there with a client playing a game, and instead.of being accommodating, the employee was incredibly rude to me about it. It made me wonder what you do for those individuals who have other disabilities or who dont fit in those chairs outdoors. That is a form of discrimination and is absolutely unacceptable. I hope this is addressed so that others arent mistreated or discriminated against. And I hope you train and inform your employees discrimination laws and just plain good customer service. Accommodating a customers medical need such as needing a chair that isnt low and has no arms isnt a difficult request.
Very welcoming place with great selection of games and more. Staff is very friendly and helpful!
I love this place. I was able to find a game that was hard to get, and got an amazing panini and frappe too. Awesome amazing place and Ill be back as often as I can.
With a vast array of board games, role play, dice this place was everything they advertised and more. Helps that you can get tea and coffee while your there with outdoor seating!
Hands down the best coffee in town! Whether you are looking for coffee, tea, snacks, games, or just good company, this is the spot. Super friendly and helpful staff. 10/10 cant recommend this place enough!
I absolutely love this place. I enjoy taking visiting family and friends here. Cute, great games, nice staff, and awesome drinks (coffee & chai). My favorite chess set is from here.
Great place to find Dungeons and Dragons figures. They carry any gaming supplies you could ever need! Also a great coffee and tea shop to sip while you browse or game, cant wait to get back to gaming in person!
Picked up a great new board game, and more surprisingly one of the best milkshakes Ive had in Denver!
☕️ Awesome coffee and OMG games and figures 🐉
Cool board games, magic/pokemon. Coffee is good, staff is excellent and the place is spotless, check it out!
Italian soda was good, but honestly you come here for the games and the atmosphere. Friendly folks too.
This place is so cool! My coworker suggested this place to me, since I play MTG and love board games, and it does not disappoint. A lot of cool games and MTG stock as well as D&D minis and dice galore. I bought a pack of MH2 to try my luck at another cabal coffers.I alse got their Honey Oatmilk Latte and let me tell you that this was the best Honey Oatmilk Latte Ive ever had. Their espresso is smooth and not charred at all. The Oatmilk and the honey complement each other for a well rounded, not too sweet beverage. If you like games and finely crafted coffee then stop in and explore!
I simply love this place the best tea 🍵 I have had in a very long time. I highly recommend this place. Its very clean the employees are fantastic they are never rude you couldnt ask for a better place. Enchanted grounds is my number one place to go and have great tea. And that is not all they serve. Bon appetit
Great staff, super helpful and knowledgeable and a great selection.
They are very accommodating, make a great Chai and have pumpkin spice all year. They also have a very nice variety of gluten free breakfast and snack items.
Unique restaurant attracts an interesting crowd of people who have things to do and do it here or folks who like to watch people doing things. Coffee, great. Small foods Ive had here, very decent.
I read through previous reviews before posting this so I understand why the 5 card limit exists, but I was the ONLY customer on that side of the store and I was still slapped with it.Not the first time Ive been underwhelmed by their customer service, either. If youre looking for MTG, Id suggest elsewhere.
Great coffee and unlike some other game stores I can find Star Wars FFG books that most people have trouble even finding online
This little business is so cool. Not a large dice selection but the Games!! So many games, and the employees are really helpful!
Love this place its my daily stop!!!
Let me see your papers! This coffee shop is discriminating against people who do not carry their papers for the jab. They are violating Federal and state law as a public accommodation!
Youre one stop shop for coffee, smoothies, board games, nerd stuff, comics, etc. They are always helpful and super nice!
Kinda a weird vibe. Didn’t feel welcome. Coffee is good. Open up to new possibilities! Y’all are judgy.
Good cappuccino, probably best for younger crowd as meeting place with all the Star wars and Harry Potter wizardry toys n stuff. Seems like a gaming place, with coffee by the way. Less comfy for adult reading or study. Great parking, easy access. Young staff, it was early and he wasnt real friendly.
What a gem. Love the game selection and the coffee!
Super nice employees! When I asked about their Dice, the associate went in the back to show me the rest of their inventory! The extra mile was really appreciated and made my familys day! I probably spent $50 just on dice hahaha!
Wonderful shop with a great community!
Great spot to hang out (pre-covid) and play games. Cafe is pretty good, and the game selection is phenomenal. Super knowledgeable staff always helps with picking out fun new stuff to play.
Great coffee...yum
Great coffee and you will find the coolest games. The staff are good at recommending games based on your experiences.
Would not shop or buy products at a place that discriminates like they do.
Good food good service
This is not just a great coffee shop but also has some of the more popular board games available inside along with magic cards etc... I highly suggest a visit
My favorite coffee place in Littleton .
This place rocks. Coffee, tea, etc. with TONS of boardgames to purchase and many available to play in-store.
Super friendly and inviting staff I wouldnt want to go anywhere else for mtg stuff!
LOVE this place! My favorite way to get DnD supplies, board games and gifts while supporting local. The staff is so friendly and its always a pleasure stopping in for a coffee or a burrito and chatting.
Ordered coffee to go and it was ready when I got there. The staff greated me and were friendly and professional. The inside was clean and well organized and not to loud. I ordered the grounds keeper and it was phenomenal. I think I found a new coffee spot. Good bye starbucks!
Great drinks and great selection of games.
Great place to find anything RPG-related. Knowledgeable staff and large assortment of board games, M:TG, and minis. Ill certainly shop here again soon.
First time visiting today and the staff is super helpful and friendly. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone, especially those who love playing the games they have there.
My fiancé and I have been to this location many times. It’s a great atmosphere and we always enjoy our time there. They have a nice cafe with delicious drinks and have snacks as well. The staff is always very friendly and helpful!
Great selection of games and game accessories, and the staff are very kind and helpful!
I do frequent this place quite often. Ive been to a many game shops but the customer service here is outstanding. Primarily a Magic: The Gathering player the employees here are knowledgeable and engaging. Its comfortable and inviting and its like having a deck building forum in person. Its what makes shopping in person superior to shopping online. I will continue to support them and would encourage you to drop by for a cup of coffee and friendly faces with inviting personalities.
Always have great experiences with the staff and the food and drink is wonderful!! Great gluten free options!
This is a really cool place. It was clean and quiet and there was plenty of space to sit. I enjoyed the smoothie I got. There are many drink options. They have lots of games you can check out and play. Im giving this four stars because it wasnt clear where I should go to check out a game. Id also encourage them to get a more formal request system set up where you can fill out a form online to reserve a table. I will be back though, staff was friendly and helpful.
Their game selection is awesome and the staff is super nice and informative! While browsing the games I was waiting on my order for take out (which was FANTASTIC); we enjoyed their quiche (one bacon & one spinach feta), a smoothie (wildberry & mango), and an espresso speciality drink (mochadamia)...TRY ALL OF THE THINGS!! You wont be disappointed. With all the game selection; it would be easy to find a great new engaging game for yourself or roommates or family (anyone)! ❤️
Very good for food and equipment
The guy at the counter was knowledgeable and very helpful. They also have a great coffee shop.
Looking for a new board game? Looking for a new, chill, hangout spot for your friend group? Looking for a place to relax and get work done? Well, this place has all that and more! The facilities are always clean and the staff is friendly and quick at making drinks. Out of all the places in the area, this is one of the highest quality places to drop by for any of the aforementioned reasons. I can’t wait to stop by again soon!
This is a unique little store and I absolutely loved it the staff was very courteous and funny prices are good and its filled with nerd stuff absolutely amazing
Great selection of minis!
Great place for a new hobby or a quick drink or snack.
If I can give a ZERO! I would the most rudest customer service EVER!!!!! how do u expect your business to grow or to anybody wanting to come back when your employees are sooo disrespectful!!! Regardless if its 3rd party or not!!!
Always friendly staff. Nice place. Currently not open for dine in. Hope to be able to do so again soon.
I love the coffee here, and its less expensive than Starbucks. Even if it was more expensive, I would easily prefer to go here.
-Coffee tastes better than Starbucks-Not an international mega-corporation-Good board game selection-Lots of room and open lateOverall just a great place and I hope it sticks around. If youre going there to hang out please buy something so we can all continue to enjoy this establishment.
Game store, some weird policies but decent enough
Amazing coffee with the added bonus of an amazing selection of games like DND, MTG and many more. five stars in my book
Great coffee and amazing selection
I have been frequently purchasing Magic cards at the Highlands Ranch location. I have always gotten excellent customer service and honest pricing. I had some store credit, and went to this location for a few singles not in stock at Highlands Ranch. The guy behind the counter straight up lied about pricing, inflated each card by a few dollars, and refused to look up a card for me stating he bought them all. Will not return to this location. I see now why this place is dead on Fridays and why Highlands Ranch is packing them in. Get different people running your card stock if you want that location to grow.
Love this place. It has everything I like, and great tables if you just want a coffee and you need a place to work. Of course its targeted to gamers, which I love, but even if you arent a gamer the coffee is good and the staff is always very friendly. This is a little nit picky, but the one thing I wished they changed is the blinding florescent lights. It would be perfect if they had cozier lighting.
There are 2 different location and I have to say this littleton location is by far my favorite. They have a very cozy sitting area with couches and chairs and tables. I recently discovered all you have to do is go up to the front where the food is at and ask for a game list to demo any game you may be interested in playing. They offer food and drinks. Along with free table rentals for Dnd or magic or whatever else you might need. Plus space to work on your own projects.
I called Enchanted Grounds to see if they had Pathfinders Core Rulebook in stock. Cody answered, and was very helpful. This will make my daughters birthday!
Nice place to sit, sip, and read a book.
Dont go if youre trying to save money, youll always find something cool to spend on.
Super cool place for the right crowd. Coffee shop for the gaming community from (all the) board games (you can think of) to magic the gathering. Punny by nature. Served a really great cup of coffee. Foam art included. Not exactly a spot for a business meeting but clearly a really great group spot.
Coffee and Board Games what else could you ask for?Pick up a Latte and browsed their selection of D&D miniatures, found a few I couldnt leave without. Selection is decent compared to some other gaming shops.
What a friendly staff! Seriously, we came in as newbies and they offered to walk us through games we didnt yet know, invited us to game play events, and were really awesome to my teen son. He declared were going back tomorrow... plus I saw some games I simply must try.Looks like a great study place as well, and theyre open early.
Enchanted Grounds is a great place to hang when you want to game and need a change of scenery. When you are in the gaming world, you are constantly bombarded with energy drinks. Its refreshing to get your kick the old fashioned way...coffee. And they have a lot of skills behind the counter. Gaming at the tables is free and they never press you you to buy something. Although you may just feel inclined and its certainly worth it. Highly recommended.
Cute coffee shop thats always filled with people. Staff is friendly and coffee is fine but the real unique thing about this shop are the games! They gave everything from card games to board games to Do&D groups who meet there to play. Its a really fun atmosphere but not always great for getting work done because of all that goes on.
Great place to meet. They have a great selection of games. Would be nice if they allowed outside food.
This place is so nice! The little cafe side has plenty of different drinks and pastries to choose from. There are so many boardgames to choose from, pretty reasonably priced too. A little bit of everything! Theres a lot of tabletop stuff too. You can also reserve tables to play games!
These folks are extremely friendly, make really good coffee, and I enjoy checking out the variety of board, role-playing, and card games and accessories they have on-hand.
Great selection of board games and they always have a lot going on in the evenings. They have everything from Magic The Gathering nights to Dungeons & Dragons. My friends and I regularly bring our own games and hang out.The staff is really nice and the drink selection is solid. Overall it is a good place to either pick up a new card or board game, have some coffee, our get a bit of work done.
A very cool little store. Unfortunately they did not have some pretty basic things in stock - the D&D 5e Players Handbook, for instance, and their prices are a tad higher than some other local places. Good drinks and a good spot to hang with friends!
New to the area and came to this location yesterday and picked up some miniatures, a ton of paint, along with some other tabletop equipment. Fantastic service from the young man behind the counter on this visit. Before I settled on painting my own miniatures, he even pulled several painted miniatures from the back that might suit my needs. The service and interaction was so stellar I even went back for a second trip for additional paint colors. Fast forward to about 5 minutes ago; I decided to place a call this morning to Enchanted Grounds before I drove 35 minutes to their retail location. A nice young lady answered the phone and told me she had a couple customers in line in front of me. I let her know that was no problem, that I didnt mind waiting and that I just had a question about prices on TWO singles, TWO. This young lady decided to make the most stoned UHHHHH sound Ive ever heard and then told me that it would be best if I drove to the store to find out.... yeah Ill drive 35 minutes to spend $100 on 2 singles at a store that appreciates their customers. Dont shop here. Hit up Wizards Chest or several of the other fantastic tabletop/magic card shops in the area.EDIT: Called back 5 minutes later and was connected with an employee who loves their customers. He had no problem taking 30 seconds to look to see if they even had the cards and also gave me the prices I needed for the 2.
If you want a lovely place where people actually talk and laugh together this is the place for you. Decor leaves something to be desired but staff is great and there are games afoot
Friendly place that really just wants you to relax and have a good time. Its awesome that the game rentals are free and there are no requirements as to how long you stay and how much you buy. Drinks are tasty. I havent been to any of their events but think its awesome they have some things you can be a part of. Very chill place!
