I don’t know who is pricing the items but the items prices are the same as new. Beware you will not find a deal here. I spoke to the manager for pricing and his answer was the item to him look like new and I showed him it was not new but he proceeded saying is looks new to me so I priced it as new. The item new was 21.00 and goodwill item was 19.99 with scratches so you saving nothing because the item had a lot of scratches but I guess people don’t search before buying. This store had to change management because it was never this way. Buyer beware search before buying. These organizations was created for low income people but if the items are the same as new what kind of organization is goodwill turning into. The items cost them nothing but they processed to charge full price. I will never give my items to goodwill anymore because I see they forgot the purpose goodwill was created. Check pricing online before buying.
Its like garage sales without the hassle of driving around town all day. They have books, clothes, games, small appliances, sporting stuff, all kinds of home decorating (even seasonal things), kitchen stuff, and electronics. They are not big on returns, but for the price you pay... You should probably just donate it back. Inventory is random so check it out once in a while. Help out the community and yourself. 👍🏼
Great store and awesome helpful associates! Great items as well
Be prepared to bring home what you intend to donate because the employees at this location pick and choose what they think is sellable. And they are very rude about how long it takes you to get out of your car and open your trunk or doors. They also prefer that you do all the work unloading your car. I find this particular store rude and disrespectful.
Wow, I have never written a review in my life but felt compelled to do so for this place after my negative experience today! My wife and I received a few doubles with our wedding gifts due to an error with the registry. We decided to donate the doubles to this Goodwill location. Please keep in mind we are donating brand new stuff. As soon as we pull up to the donation area in the back, we are immediately talked down to and disrespected by the lady manager handling the donations. I am shocked that she would talk to people who are donating items that way. Our donations help keep her employed. She was extremely rude and nasty to us. After reading the other reviews on here, it seems like this is a pretty common occurrence at this location. I voiced my opinions to her and told her that from now on, we will not be donating any items to Goodwill and instead we will proudly support ARC. She rudely and loudly responded, “Whatever.” No apology for her behavior/attitude at all. I’m appalled by her and by the handling of the donations in the back. As another reviewer posted here, please try to be a kinder person and treat others with respect.
They have huge variety of items in all categories so there is lots to choose from. They had just what I was looking for and they almost always do. Employees are nice and helpful. I recommend this Goodwill.
Very nice thrift store with a great selection. The staff is friendly and helpful and everything looks very clean. Ask which color tag is 50% off and which color tag is 30% off this week. Price tags will be issued according to the following color coded order:white > purple > yellow > green > tanThis means that when a certain color has been in the store for three weeks it will be marked down 30% and after four weeks it will be marked down 50%. A week after that it will be shipped to a Goodwill Outlet store where customers can rummage through huge bins and by items by weight instead of by price tag.
Do Not Donate Here. I have donated here in the past, but today I was yelled at and berated by one of the Goodwill drop-off employees and told I was what was wrong with people today because I didnt have my donations pre-sorted!I have moved several times in the past few years and have downsized and donated thousands of items - I have never heard of pre-sorting donations, including when I donated at this Goodwill before. When I pulled up I noticed that the same Goodwill employee was angry that the elderly couple donating before me had similarly not sorted their donations. This is especially ironic because there were 5-6 Goodwill employees outside at the dropoff ready to sort. From scanning the other reviews, it looks like the same abusive person has been working the donation center for at least a couple months. I encourage Goodwill to take action to either help this angry, abusive individual or let her go.
On several occasions, the employees handling the donations were extremely rude. They refused to take a few items, that were not in terrible shape, maybe not perfect, but also not completely non-usable. They also do not help take items out of the car, which is a first for me. Most Goodwills I have been to and other used stores want to control where the items are being put. When the items were placed in their donation area, they employees started raising their voices and became very disgruntled. They started mocking and continued to be disrespectful. It was an awful experience.
Went to donate some things and the manager was very rude. She was yelling and screaming orders and had a terrible attitude. Please learn to be nicer to people who are donating free things to the establishment. Act better and be better human.
Prices are way to high for items donated for free I actually saw a picture frame from walmart sticker price still on the back of it and a price on front from GW was higher than the original price 😱 wow
Patricia (or) Pamela has absolutely no business working with customers in any capacity. Today she was ringing up customers. Rude, clearly inconvenienced, mumbled whatever it was she did say. Not the norm for that location.
I love it here. The people working here work hard with their heads and hearts in the right place 👍
I usually buy books here, very nice employees
Great selection and great prices
Manager was wearing a bandana & not enforcing customers entering & shopping with masks. He let 2 employees walk away from their registers & the only open one put his closed sign up while we waited in line. Had to ask if there were any registers open or not. Saw 6 employees & only 1 register open. Manager said the one guy with his closed sign was open. We pointed out that we were observing the sign which stated he was closed. Finally an assistant came up & checked us out at his asking since she happened to walk up. She apologized in an overly sweet way while the manager just stood waiting around. Expected better from this location. No need to return with a manager that doesnt care about enforcing masks, customer service & treats customers as if they are in the wrong for reading a sign.
Always find some treasure there!
Good prices good items
As long as you bring brand new stuff they will take it. Twice now ive tried to bring larger pieces of furniture and neither of them were taken. The first time I heard the people unloading the donations that they did not want to pick up the table so they told me no and this morning they did not take a chair and ottoman because there was minor discoloration in the seat. If there are guidelines thats fine but they need to be clear on them so people dont waste their time bringing over donations.
Nice employees.
No much but good customer service
Great selection!
I am flabbergasted how we were treated donating items. The women was white gloving our items which are in really good shape. We ended up putting our items back in the truck and driving to ARC.
Slow, slow, slow. Waited in line for an hour. The staff was incredibly rude. They would not have jobs or a business without these donations. They should be more grateful to those that donate their goods to them.
All types of interesting people not wearing mask yelling at everyone to mind their business and their employees jst stand there doing not a thing. NOT SAFE!!
Lots of price changes, slow. Worst goodwill in Denver. Skip it and go to the highlands ranch one.
Its a good place for communities and to help, as well as a good place to find things you need.My experience at this location was to hear the donation takers at the back of the store making fun of the guy in front of me who was dropping things off. They ignored me, so I loaded my own things into the blue buckets (not a big deal, just odd since there were 4 or 5 people there). They also refused items that I know Goodwill sells. Lastly, they were throwing everything from the buckets into larger bins or into dumpsters. It seemed very odd.
Holy sweet deals, Batman!+ superb prices (even better than most other Goodwills in the area)+ great discounts on select items+ 24hr hold on all big purchased items+ clothing, books, furniture, athletic equipment & more- does not allow debit transactions; must do credit through the debit card- rarely enough cashiers, pretty long linesThis goodwill has much better prices & a nicer selection of items than a lot of other thrift stores. It’s in a higher end neighborhood so the goods are better quality.
Yikes, where is the good stuff? Maybe I visited in-between delivery trucks, but this place did not have a good selection, nor was the inventory updated (ancient electronics, cookware, appliances, etc). Could have been an off day for this store. Will try again and update if I get a better experience.
Found a picture frame I was interested in but that had no price. It had something spilled on it but it was the size I needed so for the right price, I would attempt to clean it. I asked and was told the price was $25. Im at a second hand store right?! --Thats more than Id pay for it new. This is used and has gunk on it than I dont know if I can clean without damaging the finish, I argued. Its a really nice frame, that stuff will come off. NO THANKS! I dont even know what that stuff is. I was making myself feel good to believe it didnt come out of someones body and if I want to over pay for something, I will over pay for a new something that does not require any maintenance.
Overall this is a great store. The books section is generally well stocked and the rest of the store almost always has something of interest. The store itself is clean and generally well organized (save for books, which at best is organized by topic and paperback vs hardback. The staff is friendly and generally able to help when a question pops up.
They are organized. They have a section for children (girls and boys), men, women, kitchen, home, etc. They have several fitting rooms. Each week they have a different color tag that is 50% off that applies to all items in the store. The cashier that attended us was polite and engaged in a conversation with us about things to do since we are not locals.
Been to many Goodwills and have to say this is one of the cleanest and most neat store Ive been to. Everything was very neatly organized and easy to find. Employees were so nice and helpful.
We were in the neighborhood so we thought wed stop by. They have a great selection of cookbooks and a wide assortment of kitchen gadgets. Been here several times and each time Wii shop we find a little treasure.
I always start my shopping here, for pretty much anything I buy.
Shop here frequently. The store is always clean, organized. The staff can be hit-or-miss but much better than it used to be. A couple years ago some just seem to hate their job and it would show. Im very sad that they are no longer carrying jewelry they found they can make more money if they sell it online. Purse prices seem to have gone up as well, most a little high now for a used item. All in all though I will continue to shop here its close and convenient.
Planning for a baby shower. They had everything we needed. The woman who checked our order out was smiling, had a great attitude and did a great job.
The store use to be nicely organized and clean and had good merchandise. In the last year it has drastically changed. The flooring at the entrance to the store is beyond worn and nasty. The home goods section is poorly organized and maintained. I use to find nice things for decorating there but now it all looks like rejects. I have taken nice things to the store and never seen them on the shelves. All in all, I have decided to quit going there until it is cleaned up and they decide to stock it with nicer merchandise.
I have gone to this Goodwill for over 10 years, mainly for books. I stopped by recently and could tell immediately something had changed. The music was blaring so loud I thought ai was in a nightclub. The place was a ghost town. Very few shoppers and very little furniture, which has never been the case before. I tried to speak with the new manager (turns out it is under new management), but she refused to speak to me about my complaint the music, which sounded like heavy metal, and walked away from me. REALLY?An apologetic staff member tried to apologize for both the loud music and the behavior of the woman manager.I will definitely not return until the management changes, as it always does.
Good area good stuff.. Goodwill outlet world in englewood is much better priced but louder and dirtier with everything in huge bins. Watch for broken glass... Gloves recomended.... Better 4 me cause Im poor or cheap!
Good deals and clean store. However, the cashier lectured me on needing to sign the back of my card. I dont sign it on purpose because I would like people to check my id.
If you go to a good will come to this one deals like all the rest but i seem to find what i am looking for here even after going to other closer ones first
Decent selection of infant clothes. Not too busy. Well organized and neat.
I love to find a beautiful unexpected item for a good deal. If you have time to shuffle through the items you can find something you will want every time.
Not the cleanest. At least when I was in there. When I asked for help finding something they pointed me in the direction instead of taking me to the section. So I. Ended up not do ding what I was looking for and a little frustrated so I left.
My family and I really enjoy coming on half off Saturdays, you cant beat it!
Who is pricing this stuff in the store it is out of control I’ve been shopping here for a long time even worked here long ago and I’ve never seen prices like this it’s a thrift store it’s free stuff given to you from donations I used to leave out of here 50 $60-$100 at a time zero these days
This is a very clean well stocked and very polite workers, the prices are great something for everyone, there clothing selection is awesome
Great store. Great customer service and phenomenal Manager.
Good selection and a good size. Its not my favorite out of all of them, but it will definitely do!
Always well stocked. Lots of clothes to choose from.
So I shopped here today and, usually I get great customer servicebut, today the older cashier must of had a bad day because she gave me bad customer service. It started out that I was ready to checkout and she called the next person over and told me, Im open over here. WHY dont you people come here as you CAN see me?? And during checkout, she just kept giving me this uncomfortable glare as she IDed me(and I shop here on a fairly regular basis and this was only $15) and rudely asked me if I could carry my table outside by myself and rolled her eyes when I told her I need help.I get it if youre having a bad day(I too work in retail and know what some days are like) but you dont need take it out on me (just because im young and moderately tatted, doesnt mean I need to be treated differently than the person before me/ everyone else). The kid who helped me take the table out did ok, he wheeled it out and lifted it in the trunk(after he got off his phone) but didnt help reposition it to fit inside. All in all, it was an ok experience.
It was ok...very few good items...its ok..
Ok store. You can find some good stuff here. But pretty messy.
Nice clean store with good selection in each area. Clothes seem more up-to-date!
Great place to give things you no longer need. A little fussy about what they accept.
Yesterday, the guy taking stuff, no hi thank you, just throws stuff in boxes no regard that it was someone precious stuff at one time, I told him not to throw those figuines I was donating.
Love Goodwill....this stores employees are super friendly and helpful. 💗
Great selection, but difficult to try on clothes with their new policy of 3 items max in the fitting rooms at a time.
It is one of my favorite places to go for older electronics and various clothing items.
Great employees here, always can find interesting purchases
Great deals ridiculous lines. On a Saturday, come early it expect to wait in line for 20 minutes.
Very well-kept store very friendly cashiers and really reasonable prices
Manager lady was very rude and disrespectful and so is her employees
Useless, lazy people. Not worth the air they breath.
If you go to this good will be prepared to pay extra at the register if the cashier does not agree with the price.
This store USED to be great. I dont know who has been setting prices for the past 5 months or so but noawadays theyre outrageous. A lot of the items are way overpriced, and some cost even more than brand new even though theyre used. Some items have even stickers on them for 50 cents or a dollar, and goodwill somehow has the nerve to stick their own $5- $8 sticker on them??? All of their items are free, half of their labor is volunteered, and yet they manage to try and hustle people with absurd prices. Goodwill has become a money grabbing machine instead of a community resource. I even went on their corporate office tour to see about their business practices, and instead of supporting community and providing opportunities, they were more interested in bashing other thrift stores such as ARC and Savers, being proud that theyre putting them out of business. What a joke has goodwill become.
David was super helpful! Great customer service!!
Manager is terrible and beyond rude...
Good service, usually very organized and great selection of used items.
This location is selling several pairs of fake True Religion jeans for $35 a pair. They should be ashamed of themselves. If youre going to price gouge for free stuff make sure its authentic.
Great deals on books. Friendly staff.
Good finds when you hit it at the right time
I always love the bargains at Goodwill.
Very organized. Very clean.
The people that work here are extremely UNhelpful! They were rude to me on the phone and uninterested when I visited the store.
It was ok. Wasnt empress ed with the selection and employees werent helpful.
Good place for resale items
Large selection available with Alot of quality items
The bathrooms were filthy the place was so unorganized. There was only two cashiers for 15 people in line it was very very Long wait to check out
Great selections and deals
Great store to shop at.
Great stuff here cheap prices
Most people are very friendly at this GW, Its Clean.
Not short on employees, but short on employees willing to go to the register. Fair experience so far.
Like someone else mentioned, the guy taking donations is very rude. He stared at me from 8 feet away and didnt offer to help, then told me not to put it on the wet ground. Ridiculous. Makes me not want to donate here anymore.
Clean and lots of new inventory
Went dollars store check out was slow only one person but boy did they have a lot holiday items
Happy People
Ok
Donation crew is just bad
Great finds!
A new treasure every time
Great service
Good prices
I like the book and movie selection
