I love the fact that my technician sends me a detailed email of the condition of our vehicles including pictures when being serviced! Ive been using them since 2016 and Im proud to say they ARE honest in servicing all of our Chevy vehicles. You cant go wrong with them in your corner. I also have them check out used vehicles prior to purchasing.

These guys are the best! Recently, my car has begun its end-of-life cycle, and I brought it here. They attempted to fix the problem, and I thought they had done it. But when things started to head downhill for me, these guys were there when they didnt have to be. They went way above and beyond, and Ill always be thankful. I wont take my business anywhere else. Despite what other reviews may say, these guys took care of me when I was in a tight spot. Give them a chance. Maybe youll get to see what Im talking about.

I took my car in the morning of June 4 without an appointment. My car decided that the fan was going to keep running, even after the car was turned off. Their day was booked, but said I could leave my car there and look at what was going on when there was time. I have been here before and never had a problem with their work, timing, nor pricing. This day was no different! They were able to find the problem, send me a text, and then called about what I wanted to do about the repairs. I told them to go ahead with the repairs and my car was ready before they closed that afternoon! Thank you guys so much for fixing my car quickly and professionally! This review has to do with their pricing structure, which Im guessing is set at the corporate level. I had a great interaction with Johnny and was really happy with how they treated me.They replaced rear brakes last year for ~$450. I just got a quote from another shop on my front brakes and they came in at $260. I asked if there was a big difference between front and rear brakes and this new shop told me that rear brakes would cost the same. Since parts are parts, I calculated that Honest1 charges twice as much in labor as a highly-rated local shop that uses genuine parts specific to the make and model of a vehicle.Long story short: I paid an extra ~$200 to have some brakes replaced. If price is a concern, then look elsewhere. But dont hold it against the people working at this shop, they were awesome!

I am SO grateful to have found Honest 1! They truly do stand by their name! Sadly for me, Ive had a year of numerous car repair issues and thank goodness I found this shop ahead of time for the brunt of it! Absolute BEST experiences of my life with mechanics, they have gone above and beyond for me, have always been straight forward and honest, looking out for me for the future with my car, and I finally feel like I have mechanics I can trust no matter what the issue. It took me some time to find a good mechanic to take my vehicle. This shop lives up to its name. They explain in lay terms . They are honest and professional. No hidden charges. Awesome service. !

Had a pleasant experience at Honest-1. I needed a couple tires mounted and a wheel alignment. They completed the job on time and neatly put my spare tire I had on into its proper place in the trunk. They always do an inspection of the vehicle to check for other problems and let me know my brake pads were thin and that Id need a transmission fluid replacement soon. They did this after I paid my bill and didnt try to upsell at all, which isnt something common in my experience. They simply added what they would charge for the service in my final printout and the prices they quoted were fair and competitive.Good people at Honest-1. I recommend them

The crew at Honest-1 were great, getting me in fast when my check engine light came on and the car was sputtering. They gave me a loaner so I could get to work and attend important meetings. Definitely recommend them!

Twice, Ive had to take the car back because the shop messed something up during the repairs. Usually I wouldnt mind this - people make mistakes. But what is very frustrating is the lack of care around COVID. During the beginning of the pandemic, they wore masks but they were often hanging around their faces when they came into the office. I get its difficult to work with masks on, but when youre customer facing, its frightening. The most recent time Ive dropped off my car, no masks in sight, no cleaning of any surfaces, definitely no cleaning of the cars. People are dying. Because of this lack of care, I will not be bringing my business here and cannot in good faith recommend going to Honest 1 auto care.

Ive been going to Honest One for over 10 years. The service is outstanding! My favorite part is that they are candid about what repairs are needed right now, and what can wait until later. They stand by their work with a strong warranty. Plus, the same team has been there for years, so they recognize each customer and know their cars very well.

At first, my A/C repair did not hold up... But Honest-1 stood by their work and corrected the problem free of charge and without any hassle. I appreciate the good customer service and the ultimate positive outcome.

Absolutely recommend!!! I live 60 mi away, but I used this location for a vehicle pre-purchase inspection four years ago and again today. They did a thorough job four years ago (I bought that vehicle), and quickly steered me clear of a bad vehicle today. Today, Johnny did a quick look at the vehicle in the parking lot, and gave me an honest assessment on the spot for no charge. When I offered to buy him lunch for his trouble, he kindly declined, saying “That’s what we’re here for.” If I lived in Denver, these guys would be my go to spot for auto service every single time. Absolutely trust these guys!

I was skeptical of the name driving by, still went in because they are always so busy. I was skeptical of the intentions because Johnny was always so friendly. I was skeptical of the workmanship because I had a significant breakdown and after repair the engine was still vibrating and had a loss of power. I took it back and Lee said it must be a different part based on the trouble code and I feared I would be paying labor and parts 2x to correct the misfire because a second coil was required. At this point many mechanics, because of their pride, would have put another coil to express firmly that they are professionals and are not wrong about their craft. These guys displayed a greater level of professionalism through authenticity and integrity by telling me that after diagnostics couldn’t at first determine the problem and through closer inspection realized the coil they replaced wasn’t fully connected as they pressed it down it clicked and everything was then working great! THESE ARE THE KIND OF BUSINESS MEN THAT ARE WORTHY OF YOUR TIME AND MONEY IN ANY FIELD OF EXPERTISE. I am happy to say that I have a good local mechanic to refer to everyone I know now.

Turns out the part needed replaced, which theydid at a very good price. The car was repaired for under the estimated price, who does that? Im sure I saved a lot of money that a dealer would of charged. I have taken several cars there. Just go here. If you are looking for honest mechanics that wont sell you stuff that you dont need, go here first.

These guys has consistently proved their value over and over again. Yes, it can (sometimes) be a bit of a challenge to get in same day. I cant speak highly enough of this place. The service here is incredible. They are amazing. I have never had a better mechanical experience in my life. From the moment I pulled up they were friendly, open, and honest towards me and about the issues with my car. I was so scared I was going to have an enormous bill, and instead I got top quality service at the best price I couldve asked for. The issues I had this time werent that large, but without a doubt I will come here for all my car issues in the future, as well as general checkups. I worked mostly with Johnny, who was by far the nicest and most knowledgeable technician I have ever spoken to. He explained everything in a simple way I could understand. I wasnt treated like an idiot, even though I dont know much about cars at all.You guys, GO HERE, you will be treated with respect, you will not be taken advantage of, and you will walk away knowing your vehicle is in great hands. I took my vehicle here for the first time for a radiator replacement. I got there first thing in the morning and the staff was amazing. They were able to provide me with an estimate right away and start the work. I was expecting the install to take all day. To my pleasant surprise my vehicle was ready by 1:00PM. Excellent service, fair price. Definitely will be back again.

My wife and I have been going to Honest1 for almost two years, however as of recent service has been extremely disappointing:1. We recently found out that they couldnt even stay organized enough to have our cars SEPARATED in their records. We both own two different Ford fiestas, ones a hatchback and ones a sedan, three years apart in age and for the last two years theyve had all their service records under one single vehicle, my wifes.2. Every single time Ive asked them to top off my liquids when dropping off my car for an oil change, they have been lying to me. I am unsure if its the technicians lying to the reps at the desk, or the reps at the desk lying to me, but my most recent visit a week ago, I asked if my liquids can be topped off (as Ive done every time) during my initial call to make my appointment, when I dropped off my car, asked again when I picked it up and each time they ensured me yes.I even took an extra step during my pickup to also SPECIFICALLY ask if my coolant was low (because they found some minor evidence of a potential leak to my water pump) and I was told no, its fine.Out of curiosity I checked the car the next day and my coolant was almost empty. Giving them the benefit of the doubt, I bought some coolant of my own, topped it off to full and have been driving the car two hours a day, checking every single morning and afternoon to see if my levels dropped, just in case my coolant leaked between my visit and me bringing the car home.It didnt. My coolant level hasnt budged. Ive checked under the car for any leaks, nothing after driving 2 hours a day for 5 straight days, verifying that my car didnt leak a full amount of coolant between when I picked up my car and when I brought it back home and checked it the weekend before.I called Honest1, and they couldnt explain any of it other than giving me an apology. Ive canceled our future appointment to have our sons newly acquired used SUV seen. If they cant even do a simple task after asking FOUR times during a simple oil change, I certainly dont feel safe having them check our sons first vehicle. Im just glad I followed my gut to check under the hood, because my car couldve ended in MUCH worse shape.Honest1 should reconsider changing their name, because it seems they dont know the definition of the word.

Tonya, who manages the office, was very helpful. She was very clear in her communication and the follow-through was exactly as promised. The only bummer I had was one of the mechanics stated I needed new struts because the struts were showing to be at the end of their life. What they dont know is I replaces those struts myself about 10,000 miles earlier. The car is driven like an old lady with less than 500 miles a month. Its possible the mechanic may have mistaken my car for someone elses. So if you give them a try, and just like any vendor no matter the industry, do your due diligence. If you really need auto work, I highly recommend you talk to someone you trust who knows a bit about auto maintenance. Much of what I do for my own car is very easy to do and yet shops tend to charge high prices for the work.

They are, as their signs says, honest. One of my cars is older and new parts are a problem. The used and rebuilt parts many times arent any good. This place guarantees parts and labor for 3 years (might be 2) and thats a big deal for these rebuilt parts you have no other option buying. So, highly recommend.

I bought a 21 year old car and had them look at what needed to be done. They could have easily taken advantage and told me it would cost thousands. They got me out the door for under $700 and advised me of what to watch for in the future. Great and HONEST people! We have a mechanic for life!

Lee, Johnny, Justin and crew are absolutely amazing! Had my car at the dealership recently, to which thet quoted me over $1500 in brake work for a squeaking noise I had. I took it to Honest 1 as there a local garage in my neighborhood and their reviews are amazing, so I thought Id give them a chance. Only to find out, I had debris from a camping trip I just returned from between the pad in rotor. They cleaned it out and didnt even charge me!!! Unheard of from my experiences Ill never go back to the Dealer for any service as they just seen dollar signs. Low in behold the noise is gone and best of all I didnt need to spend $1500. Thanks Honest 1 Ill definitely be back and recommending you to all my friends and family. You guys rock. You earned a customer for life!!!!

Honest they are NOT! I took my Nissan in for diagnostic of a problem. They recommended items and printed a service bulletin from Nissan and didnt recommend things that Nissan did, and suggested spark plugs (for over $200) that Nissan doesnt recommend until 105,000 miles.My car has 30k mi. less! I took my car to a pro and they did what was needed. When I sked them to change the oil, they said it wasnt needed yet, based on visual inspection and time from last change. They also told me when to bring it back for a free change!Beware of businesses that have honest in their name. Those thst really are dont need to use it as part of signage. They live it!At least 1 star is required for posting. Otherwise zero.

Got an oil change for my 2011 Honda CR-V. They made sure to look up the correct oil to use. I appreciated that. The waiting area was organized and well kept, I enjoyed the complimentary coffee while I waited. My car was returned to me in great working order, clean as ever, and purring like a kitten. My only critique is that I was told the service would take 30 minutes and it ended up taking closer to 45 minutes. Luckily, Id given myself enough time during my lunch break, so there was no issue there. That being said, I will definitely be returning. Figured Johnny with all his experience would be able to give a fairly accurate estimate. Gave me jut over $1100.00 which finished at over $1800.00, then adjusted to over $1700.00. I would have thought with that much difference, I would have been asked to approve the higher amount.I am on a fixed income, and this puts me in a bad situation.Also, the rear view mirrors work great, but the left ones controls are backwards. I can live with that.

Took my Mazda MX-5 in for an alignment. They did a great job. The car drives great. This is the third car I have taken to them for work. Always very friendly and professional. Highly recommended.

Loved my first experience with Honest-1 Auto Care. They were able to quickly and efficiently take care of the dead battery and corroded battery terminal in my truck. They called as soon as the work was done and they were very friendly and informative the entire time. They did forget to give me my old battery core so I could get the deposit but when I called, they apologized very sincerely for the mistake and were able to hold the old battery for me until I was able to pick it up. I have nothing bad to say about Honest-1 and I will most definitely go back to them in the future when I need something done with my truck. Thanks Honest-1 Auto Care!

Took my Civic in to get coded for my check engine light. They were straightforward with me and said it would be a couple of hours. Thing is when they got to my car, my power control module got busted. They told me this and took responsibility and lived up to their namesake. They replaced the part for free and serviced my car and it runs great. If the light comes on again, I know who to turn to.

Very good experience with this shop. They took the time to correctly diagnose the issue with my car, and even let me drive the car with the mechanic to point out the issue I was experiencing. They also showed me the old (broken) part that was replaced when I picked up my car. Great service.

ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL STAFF! They even gave me a ride home when I dropped my car off. And they dont give you no Bs either. The name says it all!

Had been going to this shop until they screwed me over. Had a front end noise I brought in for inspection 4 times. Initially told them I thought it was one of the ball joints on the front passenger side. Jonny told me no it’s not that, kept trying to tell me it was my differential which is a massive cost to repair(3,500) for a rebuild. Then telling me let’s try and replace your sway links and sway bushings over 350 dollars later didn’t fix it. Almost triple charged me for parts! On top of it gave me a huge list of repairs that don’t need to be done. What do you know brought it to another shop and first time in it was my upper ball joint! If you go here be careful. I will NEVER be going back! Not HONEST!

The guys who serviced my var g was very nice and helpful. He sat with me in the car to make sure I understood fully what he did. I highly recommend this location!!

They were pretty rude. I made a mistake by not getting an alignment right after replacing my struts and I was lectured about it pretty hard. They also gave me a 2500 dollar repair estimate for my 1500 dollar car that, if you look at it and do some research, really only will need to cost 40 bucks. I definately do not recomend going there because the honest in their name is a lie.

I love this place. I never feel like they are scamming me and they are always upfront with me. They are incredibly helpful, very kind, reasonably priced, and make car repairs and maintanence not so stressful.

Not sure what happened to this place. When I first moved here, we took both of our vehicles there. Being that they were friendly and provided good service we have not been there in a while, they fixed the problems so no need to go back. Well a lot has changed. Took my new vehicle there for a quote. I was given the quote and asked a question about it and got the shittiest attitude and answer from the two guys behind the counter. I have rarely been given such brazenly crappy attitude from people who are in business to provide a service. In the past I have referred several friends to this place. They will be receiving a phone call suggesting they perhaps go elsewhere. I drove not two blocks away and was given a quote for the same job. I asked the same question, and low and behold got a detailed explanation of why things were the way they were. No attitude, no bullshit. Honest 1 is never getting my business again. It really is about the way you treat and talk to people, something the two service writers at Honest 1 could stand to learn.

Honest One made my experience easy. They did a great job explaining my car issues before getting the go ahead to move forward with the repairs. I will deffinataly go back to them when I need any car repairs, prices are fair and they stand behind their work.

I had a very good experience getting an oil change and a vehicle inspection at Honest 1. They called me several times to keep me up-to-date on the status of my vehicle. They carefully explained the bill and the procedures they had to perform, and they didnt try to upcharge me or intimidate me into fixing some mysterious problem with my car. This is the second time Ive used them--theyre fast, communicative, and yes--very honest.

No matter what were having done, we always feel comfortable bringing our car to Honest-1. Johnny is great - knowledgeable, keeps it real, and never tries to sell us more than we need. I would recommend Honest-1 every time!

Johnny is incredible. I was so upset when I went to Pep Boys and they gave me a $1,000 estimate on my car’s issues and said it had to be fixed immediately. I went to Johnny for a second look and he told me everything except my belt could wait and he broke down payments for me. Walked out with a new belt and a fixed tire. I was recommended to this place by my Lyft driver when my car broke down at my daughters work. Next day I call and as busy as they were Lee got me in that day and made sure I had my car fixed by the end of the day. They are decently priced and so friendly. So, my father took my new car to get the clutch replaced. It was tight, like I expected, but I couldnt get the stupid reverse to work. Turns out, I had to pull up on the clutch to get it to allow me to enter reverse. Ive driven multiple manuals and never had one like this. I felt like a dingus, but he didnt make fun of me. We had a good laugh together and I learned something new. 10 out of 10 will return here even though I live in Denver. Its hard to find honest people in the auto repair industry, and they fully deliver. Thanks

They always made sure that I was getting the best price and broke the cost down for me so I understood where my money was going. Bob helped me both times and was super understanding and willing to help. My car has never had any issues on their account other than my own wear and tear. I trust them with my car and will keep going to them for the time Im here in Provo.

I was doing research on my 2012 Nissan Juke about the CVT transmission and how/when to service it and these folks were the first to take the time to explain to me in detail about my car. Others just rambled on about manufacturers recommendations without really telling me why. Not to mention they came in $120 less for the service than what I was quoted at a dealership. On top of that, their staff was very friendly and professional. What more can you ask for? We are definitely going back to them for other service on our vehicles.
