Long story short, a semi reversed into me. My insurance set my appointment with Ideal CARSTAR. My insurance dropped the ball a bit, in terms of keeping up with communication and delaying repairs; However, Nadine and Alton at the shop were always quick to return a call or follow up with an email following an inquiry. A short while later, I had my car back as good as new. I waited a bit before leaving this review - just wanted to see how the car handled and if there any issues; There havnt been. I feel satisfied with the repairs and want to give the team at Ideal CARSTAR a shout out and positive review for their work. Highly recommend. I shared a few before/after pics as well.

Took my GMC in after accident for estimate other damage my insurance didnt catch, they found that I had total loss. Within days I found out my vehicle was a loss.My brother in-law has worked there before and wouldnt trust anyone else. Happy people and treated me with respect.

I selected ideal car star for repair upin recommendation of my insurance provider after filing a claim due to car theft. I chose them because they could serve as a one stop shop for both physical and mechanical damages rather than two separate businesses. As a habitual recipient of bad luck with my car and numerous insurance claims due to hail damage and prior theft, I wish I had discovered them previously. They were much more professional and customer service oriented than my insurance company which I greatly appreciated. My service rep traci was very good about updating me on the progress of repairs regularly and showing empathy with me for all the stress, uncertainty and financial worries that arose as a result of this. I got my car back Monday and it looks and operates good as new. I will happily recommend to anyone in need of similar repair. Thank you so much for your business.

I went to this body shop because my vehicle was stolen from a different companies body shop and it was recovered with damages. I received continuous updates on the work being done on my vehicle and was never out of the loop. The work done was amazing and was done before I thought it would be. I had to go through them for insurance purposes because of a wreck. They seemed great at first. I was even trying to give them extra business since I had just bought the car. I wanted to maybe take care of some other issues to make it perfect. When I got the car back the door that the weren’t working on had issues that weren’t there. He said I was right but it wasn’t their responsibility. Since it was not the door they worked on. Also they didn’t call or give me prices on anything that we had discussed. He gave me nothing but attitude when I brought them up so I just stopped the conversation and left.Then they gave me back a dirty car. When I have body and paint work sorry if I expect it to be cleaned when I get it. Do not use these guys. They are just in it for the money. Not the costumer service.

Excellent and efficient service! Our car had just been shipped in from our overseas assignment, it spent almost 3 months in storage and shipping. They were quick to get us an appointment and do a safety check, transmission fluid change, oil change and change filters out for us.

I was incredibly impressed with the service I received at Carstar. They were very professional, responsive, friendly, and respectful. They did great wok on my car and in a very timely fashion.

If you bring in a Tesla, be prepared for a wait because Tesla can take a long time to deliver parts. With that said, Keith was excellent with communications, keeping me updated on progress regularly. There were a couple issues with the repair completeness/quality when I came to pick up my vehicle, but all the staff there were gracious, professional, and worked diligently to ensure that I left 100% happy with my car. I also did not know they are certified not just to do body repairs for Tesla but a wide range of other services as well. I will certainly use Ideal CARSTAR Auto Body again.

A neighbor of ours was driving up the street and was trying to control his dog, lost control and smashed into our jeep. We had a big gash in the drivers side door and fender. Car Star replaced the door, fender, painted the jeep again. Looks like new again. Beautiful job done. It took about a month to get everything done, but it was a huge job as they had to get the parts sent to them. Communication was excellent throughout the entire process. Would recommend them highly.

Everything about the experience was terrific except for communication at the very end. Right up to the last day I was kept in the loop on everything. Then the last day, in had to chase down information. I know the other 99% will certainly help me to forget this 1% fail, but right now, it’s very disappointing.

The Littleton Tesla service center and the insurance company recommended ideal carstar so I felt pretty good about bringing my Tesla here. As a Tesla certified body shop, they repaired my car in a very timely manner using new parts which they ordered from Tesla. They provided constant status updates and were very friendly and professional to dealwith. They helped by alleviating my stress during the worrisome time of being in a car accident and for that I am truly grateful. I was able to pick up an Enterprise rental car directly from there and the entire experience was seamless. I’ve been using CARSTAR in Littleton since 2012. Unfortunately my Ford Raptor required multiple visits to the shop due to people running stop signs and red lights, and even a nasty slip during a blizzard. Ideal restored my truck to its original condition every time. The staff and owners are extremely friendly and knowledgeable.The shop has also done custom painting and aftermarket installs for me on several occasions. The custom paint on my wheels lasted seven years and almost a thousand miles off-road, and looked like new when I traded in my truck last year - not a single chip or visible scratch anywhere. They recently did custom paint and body modifications to my brand new truck. The paint match was incredible.CARSTAR also restored my son’s Mini Cooper to original condition after someone took out the passenger side from headlight to taillight.It’s a seamless experience with the Progressive insurance adjuster and Hertz rental car onsite. They are very busy and repairs take time, but their time estimates are pretty accurate and communication is good throughout the process. I recommend them to my family, friends, and co-workers.

The work that was done was amazing. My car looks brand new and ALL hail damage was taken care of and done beautifully. The only reason I would give them 4 stars instead of 5 is that I was quoted 2 weeks and the end result ended up taking about 5 weeks. I got rear ended and insurance said they were a preferred shop. I go to pick up my car and the tailgate has holes where the bondo wasn’t filled properly and the rear bumper is scratched up and I guess polish that’s meant for paint its showing white residue on the black part, adhesive on the rear wiper blade, new scratches all around the car, front right fender flare gouged, whole car completely covered in over spray and clear coat thumb prints on all door handles, clear coat on the interior passenger seat and back seat and on the back of the driver seat. The car started leaking grease onto the exhaust, they did nothing. They only tried to repair the cosmetics nothing about the car itself working or being safe, clear issues on the “repair order” said they cleaned off burnt plastic off end of exhaust, it’s still clearly there. Insurance said I absolutely have to let them try one more time to make it right aaand I begrudgingly do and they failed, now there are burns from the buffer. Clear coat and scratches and missing parts..oh yeah there are missing parts, they decided I didn’t need this or that like the manufacturer made it and suggests to have on the vehicle. Ok so yeah all that kinda sounds like I’m crazy but put yourself in my shoes...Iv never heard of this poor craftsmanship to the extent of this, it’s literally insane that they open their doors and call themselves a business. I’ll be taking my car 1,100 miles away from this place to be repaired professionally and though that’s an absolute pain I know these people will look at one: the safety of this vehicle and two: repair the poor work this place did, order the parts they left off and repair the damaged caused by this building with people in it acting like they are a real autobody repair business.

Had my car repaired through esurance. Everything was fine until I had an airbag light go off. Took it to the Toyota dealership and was told that the airbag sensor was not connected properly after the repair was done. Disappointed.

I have used carstar a few timeshmm. They are always polite and responsive. Highly recommend them as an alternative to the corporate body shops. They do great work and keep you in the loop regarding progress. Having a car damaged is not fun, carster can make it better.

Id like to write a positive review because the people I worked with were friendly and the location seemed clean and well kept. However; after minimal damage done to my driver side front end, my vehicle was returned to me with multiple scratches throughout the paint. Including areas of the vehicle that were not involved with the repair. It might have gone unnoticed but I had recently polished the entire vehicle prior to bringing it into this shop. Unfortunate, I have been searching for a good repair shop as I own several vehicles.

Ideal Carstar is great. I had the best experience with them after my car was rear ended. The front desk ladies were very professional, courteous and helpful. Thanks to Carrie for all her help. They dealt directly with the insurance and helped with getting a rental car. My car was finished before the estimated time and they kept me updated throughout the whole process. My car looks like new. They did an excellent job. I would highly recommend them.

Heather was terrific to work with! However, I do not appreciate that they put factory second parts, as a first choice onto my car. It may be an insurance issue, but I would have liked it if that had been communicated to me. This is the second time I’ve had my car at Ideal and both times they replaced parts on my car with factory seconds and the first time I had to go back since the factory second part was defective. In conclusion, if given the details, I would have happily paid the extra cost to put factory parts back onto my vehicle.

Highly disappointed in their handling of simple logistics. I had an appointment setup for months to repair hail damage, and when I arrived they didnt have parts available (my car needs a roof replacement, which they hadnt even ordered). Additionally they forgot to arrange my rental car, despite me calling earlier in the week to confirm. So after turning in my car, Enterprise had no reservation for me, and wouldnt have a vehicle ready for 3 days.Mistakes happen, and they apparently had an employee leave recently. However, what knocks them down to a one star for me is the way they didnt seem to even care. If they had shown even a modicum of remorse, I would have just rescheduled with them. When I went back in to tell them Id like to move on to another body shop, they literally said nothing - just retrieved my keys, and handed them to me with a blank, F*** U look on her face. Ive never had a customer service experience in my life like this. They had no interest in keeping my business or trying to address the problem (I will give credit to one woman that briefly tried to interject helpfully, but she wasnt there when I left them for good).There are just too many other shops out there to deal with customer service like this. Maybe they do good work, I didnt get that far, but they werent able to do the simple stuff, so I am moving on.

Needed a rear bumper repair from a small fender bender. The car has a full PPF aftermarket wrap. The shop advised it would cost less to order a new bumper and rewrap it versus repairing the existing bumper. They wrapped the new bumper, got a new reflector on one side, put it on, and detailed the car. She looks great!

They were very informative ever step of the way when they were fixing my car after an accident. The adjuster on site was super friendly and went over everything in detail with me, great guy! Kudos to all the people who actually fixed the car because they made it look brand new. The price was expensive but my insurance paid for it and honestly you can see the quality and effort they put in. They even replaced rubber caps in the wheel well that they could have ignored.

Meh.....at best. Dropped off my fleet vehicle and had them do repairs for a minor crash. It took two weeks to do repairs for the slightest damage. Then, after my vehicle was ready, they called on a Friday and I said I would try to be there on Monday or Tuesday to pick it up. Well...life happens....and I had a death in the family which obviously made me unavailable. Honestly, I didnt even think about the vehicle needing to be picked up until my boss called me today. To top it off....I guess someone there got ahold of my boss/company and lied about why I hadnt picked it up. They told my boss that I said, The vehicle Was a loaner so its not my problem to pick it up, which is blatantly false and untrue. I chose three stars when I started writing this, but by the time I was done writing and thought about how messed up the situation was, I changed it to one. They asked me if I needed a rental when I dropped off the vehicle weeks ago and thats when I said This was a loaner and Im in a new vehicle, so I dont need a rental. I never said it wasnt my problem in regards to picking up the vehicle. Im sorry that burying my grandfather was more important than the parking spot you were trying to charge the company for and then lying about why it hadnt been picked up to my company.

Ideal CARSTAR Auto Body is by far the greatest example of customer service I have ever seen, especially in the auto industry. When my rental car company didn’t pick me up in time to get me to work, Ideal CARSTAR jumped in and the shop owner gave me a ride to work HERSELF in order for me to make it to work on time. They also called the car company and made sure a car was delivered to my work place, so I wasn’t without a ride. They texted me updates the entire time my car was being serviced and they made my experience so easy. I didn’t have to worry about a thing except when to drop off my car and pick it up. After moving to the Denver area from Ohio, one of the first things we had to deal with was a fender bender repair. Ideal Carstar was one of the recommendations by our insurance company. Ideal and our insurance company worked seamlessly together for the work authorization and payment. Ideal kept us posted on their repair progress. The finished work looked amazing! They not only cleaned up the repaired area but the entire vehicle. I would recommend them to anyone!

I do not reccomend this autobody shop to anyone. Brought my car in with minimal damage(bumper,fender, and headlight) and so far it has taken them 5 weeks to fix it. Then when they got closer to finishing it they realized that theyve ordered the wrong headlight and will take 4-5 more days for the new one to come in. If it has taken them this long for minimal damage i can only imagine how long it would take for some serious damage.
