I had a great experience and loved what I had. The three star rating is due to my server. She was very pleasant and did a good job. However when I asked simple menu questions, they were replied by I dont know.This is a really cute little diner with a retro 50s look and feel. Just had soup South of The Boarder and it was delicious.Finished with a perfectly blended dairy-free chocolate shake.

Pretty good, service is generally good but not always consistent. Last time I went they sat us where there was a leak and there was water all over the floor with no slip sign.I don’t care about the sign but for an elderly person that’s a huge liability lawsuit waiting to happen.Buffalo chicken sandwich is good as are the burgers, don’t like the fries that much though, stick with the chips or a salad.

Honestly, one of my favorite places to grab a patty melt or sandwich! My parents live in Louisiana and had to come twice while they were in town. If you are looking for a good club sandwich, this is your place! Also, really loved their apple pie! Try this place!

Very friendly service. The young lady worked extremely hard and never let her smile fall short. She is very upbeat and positive. Great vibes felt through out our dining experience. I myself and on behalf of our entire family would like to personally reach out and ask for you to try this place out. Food is always wonderful and the store is extremely clean.

Was a great place! There was hardly any waiting for our food, our malts were excellent as was the food. And the atmosphere was wonderful too. 50s and 60s music being played, the staff with quick and attentive. And we really enjoyed our visit overall. I would definitely recommend this place to a friend.

I have been to this Purple Cow Restaurant two times in a week and have a great experience, food and service both times!

Ordered a late dinner after a long shift at the hospital, only to come home and find that the order was incorrect and what I did have to eat was tasteless. My husband’s order was correct but didn’t taste as good as usual. This was the first and last time I use this location on Chenal.We usually go to the Cantrell location, and from now on I will continue to do so. Cantrell location is great with the sweetest server. We really enjoyed her. The last time we went there, we had great food and service.

This location tops them for me! Always yummy, fresh food with friendly customer service! The triple chocolate malt is the bomb! And, the have the best soups!! 😍

Customer service needs improvement. We were served a very old ice cream. it was the last serving in the container. The ice cream tasted bad. Waitress was very distracted. Kept forgetting the orders or getting the. Wrong.

I have been going to the Purple Cow for years and years. My family and I have fond memories of the restaurant. I had a super unfortunate experience picking food up. We got there later than the reported pick up time, but were told it would be ten minutes. That’s fine. Stuff happens. I saw two shakes sitting on the counter the entire time we waited. It turned out they were ours and were completely melted. Another problem was with the the young man working the register near the shake area. He had his mask below his nose, and I watched him handling cash and then putting two straws (fingers on the part the mouth goes on) into our shakes with his bare hands. Not the most hygienic practice even when it isn’t a pandemic.

I wanted to experience the brunch that had great reviews. I never got the opportunity. We ordered our food much longer before the table next to us but so of course they received their food before us. We didnt get a explanation till after the fact. I totally placed that on management not doing a walk through to check on customers to see if everyone was taken care of. I will never place one foot back in a purple cow to beg them to take my money. The manager will understand what that statement means. So try it out for yourself and let me know how the brunch is because I will never know!

Great food with awesome service. The food was alright, the onions rings were bomb. The prices were cheap and affordable. My waitress was very friendly! I would for sure go back. It wasnt super crowded either which is always a plus in my book. I will be back for those alcoholic milkshakes!

Went to Purple Cow today for grandchildren’s birthday celebration. The service was excellent with a great finish by the server offering to pay the balance after my gift card left a balance. Good burgers with my favorite burger being the Five Alarm burger with cheese. Great place with excellent shakes and other frozen desserts.

One of the better purple cows that I’ve been to. We all enjoyed our food and the waitress was very attentive. I had the three cheese steak burger and it was great. I was too stuff to get dessert.

Okay experience...ordered cheeseburger and sweet potato fries. The fries were good, but the burger was meh🤷🏽‍♀️. The bun was crumbly, the patty was frozen and some areas werent cooked all the way through despite asking for no pink.

Ive been eating at The Purple Cow for over 20 years (hundreds of visits) and today I showed up, ate lunch and then realized I had left my wallet at home. I explained to our server Lisa and she and the manager were so kind. I quickly ran home and got my wallet and then returned to pay. Thank you Lisa and The Purple Cow!!! And of course the food was delicious as always and wonderful service too. 😋

My waitress was really nice so I truly hate to leave this review.. however; when I entered the restaurant 6 employees (one having to be under the age of 10) and the general manager all stared at me but no one greeted me nor proceeded to assist me. I stood there about 10 minutes while they all stood around looking at me and/or continuing to ignore me. Finally 12 minutes in the general manager walks up to stand (that was 2 feet away from him initially) and says “just you” no hello or any thing… okay. He takes us to a booth and I request a high chair he rolls his eyes and never returns with one. I wanted to leave at this point but i promised my daughter a purple sundae. My waitress was extremely kind and attentive she also offered a high chair. Which is why I didn’t give the one star that was truly deserved. Also while eating another family of color was seated and left immediately following before ordering and i’m sure it was due to the same circumstances. After watching them smile and wave goodbye to other customers while holding the door. As we were leaving my two year old waved goodbye to all of the staff and was given stares and eye rolls. I carried her out struggling to open the door as well as carry out Togo containers and no one cared but instead rushed to the stand they allowed me to stand at for 15 minutes. I’m extremely disappointed by the whole situation but it’s fine. I will never support this business again. My only regret is not getting the general managers name.

I was pleasantly surprised by the service and the quality of the food. If you are ever in Little Rock Arkansas this is a cool place to take the kids for ice cream and burgers

We came in here looking for an early lunch. There was one other customer in the restaurant. It smelled bad, we sat there for 20 minutes without even a drink order taken. The employees were upfront talking about how every item on the menu “sucked”. We finally got up and left, no apology or anything, just have a nice day.

Had the patty melt for lunch with special request and everything was made to perfection! In and out fast and easy and the staff were Great!

I was in a group of about 23 people. They were told when wed be there, yet they werent ready. The last dinner was served just before we had to leave. Those of us who ordered ice cream for dessert were very late getting it. Basically lousy service from the kitchen and ice cream bar. Waite staff did the best they could without any help from the kitchen and dessert bar.

We had a take out order. The food is really delcious. We got our order on time and packed very well.

Best turkey burger in the state! Its a little bit small but sooo full of flavor when you dont want a heavy burger. Overall the restaurant is not amazing but its consistent (which I appreciate very much)

Just ordered via door dash and they called to tell me they were out of regular French fries. I asked could I substitute for sweet potato French fries and was advised by the purple cow employee (Remy) that I would be up charged.I kindly requested they waive this as a courtesy, as it was not at my request and due to their inventory.... she refused. She said I can do potato wedges, but it was a kids meal and if you know kids they love fries. I just found this to be such poor service; it was such an easy thing to do. Just as it will be easy for me to take them out of my family’s restaurant rotation.

I pushed it to give this location a 2 star rating because the place was old and very worn. Old wallowed out booth seats and carpets etc. The place also smelled strongly of sour food to the point I almost decided to leave.The food was decent but the burger needed salt and there was no such thing on the tables. The waitress just disappears and I didnt have time to wait or go hunt her down etc. The service was poor and how the food was presented was nothing like my experience at the Hot Springs AR location.

Horrible. Restaurant was filthy. Not busy and lots of staff just standing around talking. Feet were sticking to the floor. Slow service. Will never be back. Stick to the Cantrell location for a good experience Everytime. If front of house looks like that I can only imagine what the kitchen looks like.

The Purple Cow has one of the best plant-based burgers Ive had. Its flavorful, juicy, and just the right portion size. I highly recommend trying it... even if you like beef!

Let me start by saying I love purple cow. However, this particular restaurant was dirty, Im talking our shoes stuck to the floor dirty. We also had to flag our water down on a few occasions. The food was still good though.

Nice retro burger joint. Super kid friendly. Burger was ok, wasnt my favorite. The shake was quite good actually better than Sonic and Dairy Queen. Decent Onion rings. The waitress was very nice and friendly.

Had a terrible experience, when placing a big order through a company Iwas working for. Orders were not complete nor correct. Had to make several trips to get lost items such as shakes and missing item, on my chicken sandwich the lettuce was brown and slimmy, when the side condiments were fresh? Also there was a hair mixed in the sauce on the sandwich...will not be returning!!! PS have pictures of these issue as well...

For our first time dining in, it was a great experience. Prompt service the moment we walked in. The hostess that seated us couldve picked a bigger table for my family of 5, but she was a great host. Our waiter, Jose, was great! He got our order correct the first time. He made sure we had everything we needed. The atmosphere was great. Reminded me of an old 50s malt shop. The food was amazing. Staff was great. Loved it, great place to dine. All 5 for me!

The double scoop hot fudge sundae was amazing! It tasted like fudge pudding. Very creamy and delicious!

We arrived shortly after they opened Sunday for lunch. Was seated and drink order was taken. Drinks were brought and order was taken. Ordered 2 clubs, 1 with egg on the side and 1 no tomatoes, 1 with fries and 1 with chips. 30 min later someone finally stopped to check on our drinks. 45 min we got food. My sandwich had tomatoes (Im allergic) I got fries instead of chips. Friend got fries but they were cold. Two tables that were there before us did not get their food. People walked in and sat at the bar and got their food before people in the dining area. Lots of staff,but no real order. 1st time for my friend and she was not impressed.

Simply awesome!! We tried choco lava cake, hot fudge cake with icecream, famous purple vanilla milk shake and hot fudge milkshake. Hot Fudge was average. But all other items were amazing!! Milkshakes are thick to extent that you can eat it with spoon and tasted amazing. I liked both hot fudge and purple vanilla. You should try with of them. If you are a choco lover, then definitely try choco lava cake! I recommend this place!

Went to the other purple cow on Cantrell and they were out of fried pickles. So I call this one, ask if they have fried pickles in which they say yes, so I place a to go order and what happens? After I pay they tell me there’s no fried pickles. Why didn’t someone mention this before I drove up to this place and paid.

The whole place was a little whack, super busy of course around dinner time, to be expected but it was 20+ mins before someone took our drink orders and forgot straws which is fine but she disappeared for another ten mins. She was really nice and obviously overwhelmed. But there was also no air conditioning in a place with over a hundred people very tightly packed. Just not a great experience, we actually decided not to order food and left. Maybe Ill try a different location at some point but this one was a bummer.

A decent place. Very diner like. I ordered queso and chips and chicken finger platter. The queso was white cheese and was hot. Chips were nothing special.The chicken fingers were good. Plenty of meat. Not overly breaded. It came with 4 strips on a pile of lukewarm fries. The fries lacked on my opinion.Service was nice. I would like see place a bit cleaner but I had no major concerns. 3 star is decent in my book.

Took my baby sisters and daughter to The Purple Cow!! This is the Arnolds for the Happy days feel. Try the cookies and cream or banana 🍌 shake with the signature purple 💜 touch.Very good!

Everything was clean, courteous staff, and good food. The only differences I would really make is that they cook their meat well done, and their shake was pretty much melted by the time I got it.

I love the banana splits and you can purchase something and pick it up later like 3 months later I have a banana split on hold for almost 2 months now

$8.00 for a grilled chicken sandwich. You get more meat on a Macdonalds .99 burger. The onion was thicker than the piece of chicken for Christ’s sake.

Stopped here on our way from Tennessee to Texas. Did not disappoint! This is the best classic diner burger I’ve had in years. The onion rings were perfectly crisp and the dip it came with was delicious. The vanilla purple shake was a yummy, simple shake that hit the spot. The service was perfectly pleasant. Great dinner. Great fun and atmosphere for the entire family. Has all of the traditional American Dinner dishes. The patty melt is an all time favorite. The unique twist on desert is the Purple Vanilla Ice Cream. Chose from the dish, cone, or sundae. Also dont forget the adult shakes.

The Purple Cow is one of the best burger/milkshake places to go in little rock, whenever Im in town longer for a week I always makes sure to grab a burger and a shake. I had to remove one star for the removal of the old jukebox that they use to have a few years back. The wait is really never long unless of course during lunch/dinner rush. The wait staff last time I was there was pleasant. A place to go for sure.

Food was decent. Prices are a bit on the higher end.

My 4 year old was given the best service. The guy behind the counter was excellent. He poured the shake in front of him on the counter. He put on the whip cream, sprinkles, and cherry with pizzazz. It totally made my sons day. I wish I got the workers name. He wall fairly tall with brown hair. We were there 9/24/2020 around 6:00 p.m. Our to go food was perfect and everything we needed was placed in the bag. The girl that greeted us was very nice.
