I like to shop at pretty much all academy sports. Store was in good shape which surprised me. They were busy and it wasnt all junked up like some other stores Ive been too.

I got my husband a new fishing set up, they put the line on it for me and walked me upfront to pay. I got $15 off when I got approved for their credit card.

They were friendly and helpful. Last week they were crowded and I left before getting my question answered.

I like the Sherwood store better. I had to go to Little Rock because the Sherwood store didnt have what I was looking for and they supposedly did. The kid that asked me if I needed help was no help at all, at the Little Rock Store. I did find what I was looking for.

Love this store! Just picked up my second grill from here. The first one has lasted 9 years, hopefully this new one lasts the same. The staff is always nice & so helpful.

Academy is usually a quick and easy experience, but not this time. Nobody wanted to check me out (I only had two items!!). One guy refused to serve us and just walked out of the store. The manager guided us to another line and the lady there waited for us to get to the front of the line just to tell us that she was also closed and walked away. It was very busy and each line was long so the waste of time was very irritating.

Ordered some kickboxing gloves for a pickup, The store attendent Gloria said i dont tell my last name even after I showed my ID twice and my confirmation email twice, the order was sitting right behind her back on the counter but still cannot find it. Then Jared this nice associate shows up and finds it instantly. Bad customer service on Glorias part. Do not recommend this place. We can buy gloves anywhere else with no issues.

Its always a good shopping experience in the Academy stores. Theres plenty of space between displays so it never feels too crowded.

They have some pretty good sales going on right now. Boy needed shoes for PE. Found just what he needed.

I always find what I need as for as workout equipment, shoes clothes and etc I even bought my tarus 9 mm and holster, last year on black fri for only $200.... the employees are helpful and friendly...I really dont have any complaints about this Academy Location

My little brother went here because he was confused about a part of his fishing reel and was fed up with online tutorials. The first employee we saw (Ricky) was very kind and respectful to him and explained what he was doing wrong and how to improve in the future. A good store with good people and service

This is by far the worst Sports Academy Ever!! The customer service sucks. I placed an online order for pick and waited 20 min in the pick up line . Not because there was a line but because my order wasn’t ready and the guy checking out seemed unconcerned. They will not get my business ever again . They need a whole staff !!!

I go here for my tennis shoe needs...Academy Sports has very nice and affordable, shoes and boots for men women and children. Im not an athlete, but a list of what they sell for ALL sports and activities seem endless...Super nice shopping space, very easy to move around and dodge covid particles, Their staff are wonderful from open to close...take some time and go check them out, and tell them I sent you😂)

They have what you need as far as outdoors, I bought a baby grill which I use almost daily! Only thing they did not have were the night goggles I was looking for.

I was there to buy a new pistol but the man behind the counter acted as if I was bothering him and kept checking his phone so I just turned around and left.

Good selection, kinda pricey

Several years ago I purchased three bicycles from this store. All three of them had moderate to serious mechanical issues that caused me to return all three of them. One had a faulty brake line, the other had a loose chain, and one had the brake pedal snap off. Im not a heavy person and that particular bike with the pedal that broke off was the most expensive one I purchased there. Thats a serious mechanical flaw that could seriously injure someone. The return process was extremely difficult and took me a long time. The staff was less than helpful.

Love shopping here!!!! Especially for BCG tennis shoes...if you are on your feet constantly consider these shoes...#16 years housekeeper i have never found shoes more comfortable until i tried these on. I even forget that they are on.. I Paid under $30 for them.

The annual clearance event is a great time to find some good buys. The lady who was in the area I was shopping was obviously overwhelmed by the amount of destruction caused by those who previously shopped the event. I would ask her a question to help out and she turned around and made a comment that make no sense, I imagine they were just tired, but it wasnt encouraging or helpful. After trying on clothes, there want a designated area to put go backs. Cashiers were in a good mood. Didnt appreciate overhearing at the cashiers were being encouraged to push credit card when Im standing at the register.

Plenty of seasonal promotions, including all the things you need to boil and serve crawfish, in season early spring. Nice selection of baseball gear for Spring, too,but this place runs the sports gamut. Guns, ammo, lots of clothing. Deep selection of shoes, Razorback gear, workout equipment. Less expensive to very expensive range of sunglasses. Nice staff, courteous.
