Coming from Boston, I was shopping for fresh fish market to cook and found this location. It is definitely clean, tidy and well organized. Store layout is more practical and beautifully designed. Even the fresh and frozen seafood department is visually appealing. I love the upclose viewing of tanks, with live marine animals.
Finally paid this H Mart a visit (Sat 4/10/21) at around 9:30 AM. They open at 9 AM so there wasnt much people there, which was very nice. Im sure they get packed in the afternoon though. According to my husband, this H Mart has always been here (which I never knew about) but they just recently renovated. It was the best H Mart shopping experience Ive ever had. Everything is new so it feels really clean. The aisles also seem wider than most other H Marts. Just like its other locations, they offer hand sanitizer and disposable gloves at the entrance.The meat quality is the same H Mart quality that we know and love. Certain things are pricey but if you happen to go when theres a good sale, you can get things for cheap. Usually, Ill stock up during the sale, and just keep the meat in the freezer until Im ready to use it.This will definitely be my new go-to H Mart! Theres also a bakery and a few other food places that Ill have to check out.
Newly opened H-Mart in Little Ferry. This location replaced the old H-Mart that was right next door that needed a lot of TLC. The space is big but its still densely pack, not the best in the Covid era. They do seem to be sanitizing surfaces often, providing gloves, requiring masks, and they do temperature checks upon entering. Their produces are really fresh, lots of ready made Korean stables, meats galore and much more. Their checkout lines are a little chaotic and needs some organization but the staff is very friendly. Theres a small foot court with a good variety of offers as you exit. Theres tables and seats if you want to dine in but I really recommend that you dont. Please be safe. The parking lot has ample space.

Love H-Mart. What sets H-Mart apart from other Asian grocery is the cleanliness and freshness. There are some Asian groceries that sell expired products. You have to check for the expiration date. You dont have to worry about that here. Products stocked neatly on the shelves. Great produce section, great selection of Waygu Beef.
Dont go in there hungry. Its a one stop shop for me. Fresh fruits and vegetables.

This H Mart has is the best I been to, shelf after shelf of products, this is as good as it gets for an Asian grocery! Bright, airy, clean, full of fresh produce, meats, seafood, and dry goods, and a food court, yeahy yeahy.Oh, and its huge the seafood section has so many live tanks that it can be called an Aquarium.At the food court, theres a Tous Les Jours, Sangs Kitchen, Menya Sandaime, Daegu Chicken, U Chun, and. a Tiger Sugar coming soon.Overall a great location, lots of parking, and a good selection, but check the prices, and yes lots of stuff here you will not find at the local market or Whole Foods Believe me !
Though I was not too familiar with the different kinds of food. The staff here are very polite welcoming and friendly. There is so much to explore. Make sure to bring someone who knows about Asian cooking. There is a chicken place here that sell phonomenal fried chicken and the baked goodies are out of the world. I am definitely coming back for the chicken and baked goodies. Lol.
I had missed H Mart when they closed for renovations. The wait was definitely worth it. Clean and well organized. The freshest available Asian produce, meats and seafood. Also several specialty areas for baked goods, prepared food for eat in or take out. Spacious parking as well!
Less organized store stuff since it’s hard to find section although they have a lot of type goods but it seems like not settle down yet as well as the worker in the store doesn’t know well where is the location what I found such as milk.. it’s actually not well organized product displaying in this store. New store and clean but less convenient for customer. It should be point out from the store manager ect.
Best supermarket! Aside from the grocery store section, there are other kiosks such as a cute bakery that sells a large variety of sweets and bubble tea 😋

Clean and well managed supermarket where you can find many products from Korea, Japan, China, Vietnam and India. Especially, this store has nicer interiors with wide path and higher ceiling. Compared to other Hmart, they have wider range of products especially a lot more various Chinese foods.
Great place to go if your Korean or any other Asian and probably a wonder for non-Asians. A variety of imported products that would be considered local products by those on vacation here. Mostly food because it is a food grocery. Theres also a few sit in small restaurants, a bakery and also other shops inside or around. Everybody speaks or at least understands English. Im not Korean but i enjoy visiting the place for the hot food which i just order by the number next to it -theres descriptions anyway. The apt description would be; everyone in this place is very accommodating.
Nice, Clean and friendly! I was looking for certain drinks and a nice Asian woman customer helped recommended me with some good ole drinks. And the Korean fried chicken restaurant in there is sooooo freaking goooooooood!!! OMG 🥴😋😋😋😋 I will be returning back to this market
Very similar to mitsuwa they have lots of good stuff but theyre Japanese section is obviously lacking compared to the Korean section. The food court is pretty awesome the ramen place menya sandaime is awesome, maybe the best chashu Ive ever had. Definitely going to go back and get the Miso ramen or the mini butadon
It is a brand new building and the newest Hmart in the area.It has good seafood section, bakery, Artbox, little pharmacy, a few food court-style restaurant inside the building.My one complaint is that products are not organized well. They are all over the place. For example, 미역 seaweed is not next to 도시락김. Barley is not next to beans but would be with powdered rice, 3 aisles over, etc.Good luck getting baking ingredients. Youll be all over the place.I have to circle around and around so many times looking for something.

Well laid out Korean supermarket with really great quality produce, meats, and seafood. There are also some great prepared Korean food options like kimchi and gimbap. Very clean and friendly staff.There are also some great Korean frozen foods and housewares that are not easily found in other American grocery stores.Be sure to sign up for their loyalty card and emails - they have almost weekly promotions and amazing deals throughout the year.
This Hmart sells near expired products that has have 1 or 2 months left before the expiration dates and charge them full prices. The store manager should remove these near expired products immediately. Be cautious and careful when you shop Hmart Little Ferry.
Newly remodeled and so much nicer than it was. Aisles are a little narrow, but the selection of Aisian foods and organization make up for that. Really good variety of fresh produce. Thats their biggest draw.
I went to the fish market and the person who assisted me was very nice and even picked out the fresh fish and squid for me.
Excellent Asian food, big variety. They moved to their new place right around the corner. Huge new place, and lots of new inventory. You have to try the fresh bulgogi, very tasty!

My favorite Hmart of all time!!! Inside Hmart has a small stationary store with incredibly cute post-it’s notes.The seafood markets is super clean and well kept. The store carries a large variety of everything from snacks and instant noodles!! The isles are well organized and stocked.
The food court is good and diverse. Korean fried chicken, japanese ramen, and even tous les jours bread shop is perfect. Brand new facility too

I love me some H Mart and this particular location is perfect. Well organized and clean. These supermarkets get a lot of foot traffic so they tend to be messy at times. Prices are comparable for the area and the produce is fresh and usually well stocked. And, there is this little chicken spot called Daegu in there that awesome . All they do is wings sauces or southern style. All the sauces are good so try them all but stay away from the Dragon if you cant handle 🔥. Also, check out the pastry section...the milk bread is just freaking good.
I was so happy when they reopened, this is the closest Korean grocery to me, so weekly trips are now much easier. Compared to the old location it is night and day, they were in the old spot for many many many years and it showed. I love the new seafood counter and the huge premarinated meat section. And finally a food court! As usual, they have some staples for the Chinese and Philipino shoppers in the area, and an aisle of western products. What can I say, its Hmart, if you know it you love it.

A lot more variety of products than I see in other markets!I love that a lot of their produce is plastic wraps, so I dont get stray leaves of lettuce that are too tattered to eat.There’s also a cute little wine shop next door, so I don’t need to drive elsewhere to get alcohol to pair with my meals!
This HMart is brand new and absolutely gorgeous. Huge selection of foods and all fruits, vegetables, meats and fish were fresh and well kept. Started going to this one recently and will only go to others if traveling around.

They sold a salted fish, but it was not salted and even rotten. I really disappointed. Please check the freshness before buying it.After I write this review, I saw the reply below, I contacted customer service department.It takes a week. Finally I got an answer that they cant proceed anything because I dont have the picture.The small amount of money is not a matter, if that is their refund policy, that is fine.But I cant understand, The smell cant be taken by a picture.I bought it because it looks normal.I recommend to check the freshness before purchasing fishes.

Newly rebuilt H Mart is AWESOME!!! They have food stands inside now and they move the store in front no more hiding behind the place. Spacious parking lot, accessible to Dunkin’Friendly employees and getting in and out is a breeze!!!
Although I miss the of hmart, the updated version is 10x better. The food court area is very nice. If you plan on shopping and getting a something to eat stop by Dannys for their jjamppong. Its so good.

This place is brand new and very clean. The items are a bit pricey but they have everything you would need to cook an Asian meal.
This new store has plenty of parking to begin with, then they have ample selection of fresh produce and grocery items. Background Music was great also. I will definitely come back.
New Hmart thats has a lot of food and has the standard layout like the one in Paramus. Easy to navigate and has a good size food court. Excited for the tiger sugar being currently built inside of it, but it may mean busier wait times and more people once that place opens up. Otherwise clean and follows Covid protocols.

Really glad this HMart opened up after what felt like forever in construction. This is probably, by far the nicest HMart weve been to. The food stalls in the food court are very promising. Korean Fried Chicken, Korean Platters, really good ramen from Menya Sandaime, and desserts from Tous les jours. Were going to be even more excited when the Tiger Sugar Bubble Tea opens.
What a wonderful store with such variety!
Ive been in better HMarts but at least this was a new one. They opened up in December 2020 and have a fair amount of food stalls in the front and serve all the normal things across the store. The aisles are a little tight around the produce unlike in some of the other stores, and its a little more crowded due to that placement. The produce selection feels smaller or perhaps its just the way they package everything.
New H mart and it’s spacious and clean. Lots of good grocery items that are laid out in very organized manner.

If I can leave 0 stars, I would. Not even 1 MINUTE after 9pm, 5 workers hovered over me telling me to get out. All 5 started following me and stood next to me at the register. Refused to open the door I came through. Extremely disappointed. Making sure I never come back.

One trip to H Mart will have you wondering why youve been dealing with gross American supermarkets like Shop Rite, Stop & Shop, Acme, Kings, Whole Foods. H Mart is so, so, so clean and organized it puts other supermarkets to shame. There are tables of sanitizer and gloves set up for customers as soon as they walk in thru the door. Ive witnessed employees walking down aisles to put misplaced boxes/jars of items back in their rightful areas. Quality, order, cleanliness, and decorum can be found here; four things American supermarkets are seriously lacking.

This is a new place that just opened about a month ago. The staffs are very helpful, the market is clean and lots of selections and specials. Is a great place to stop by for a bite and shopping for groceries.

As soon as I walked in I thought This place looks awesome love the place, my wife loves cooking with everything she gets from here, she definitely loves the seafood section, overall in just 30 minutes that I was in there I will give it 5 stars.

Very clean! This is the cleanest Hmart Ive been in New Jersey. They check your temperature when entering, have hand sanitizers and plastic gloves for shoppers. The isles are wide and plenty. Parking lot has a plenty of parking. As of now, they do funnel people through one entrance (makes you walk through the food hall), but thats not a bad thing. After shopping, you could order some food to go or eat at their food court. Its open, but only partially (they taped off tables where you cannot sit).Overall, clean and nice Hmart to go to. Sales vary from location to location to definitely check their flyers.

Place is huge and plenty of help. Best entrance is on the north side, no steps. Was told they do not have promotional cards like ShopRite. Not all the employees are comfortable with English.
