Very cool location in downtown Lincolnton! Staff are friendly and always happy to help and the sandwiches are delicious for lunch! Reasonable prices on dine-in options and fresh meat, too. Nice selection of Amish deli items available, as well. Will definitely be back!

This cool butcher and sandwich shop is in the middle of downtown Lincolnton. Stopped here going through town today and could not be more pleased. The Reuben is AMAZING....I mean truly AMAZINGGGGGG....I will have dreams about this sandwich. The pasta salad was just like how Mom makes it for a church picnic. The meats looked fresh and there was a wide variety of cuts and meats. Could not recommend this place more!

Love the selections. I feel safe buying the lunch meat for my kids because it’s minimally processed. The eggs are locally farmed and the butter, I think is Amish. I get weird about buying animal products because of the way everything is mass produced now but I love that I have a reliable source of local meats to choose from. Support local and shop here!

I cannot say enough pleasant things about this establishment. Nothing but a class act. Top of the line quality in everything. Staff has been thorough and very informative about ALL their items. I highly recommend for whatever your needs are.

I picked up 3 prime cowboy ribeye steaks and did them on the grill. They were fantastic. Very tender and great flavor. I will be back soon to try out some more of their steaks. Well worth the money.

I come here to get meat for my cats. They love it. Ive tried getting it at food lion and walmart but they wont eat meat from the local grocery store. They can tell the difference.

On a dreary rainy day, my sister and I were in search of a good sandwich and bowl of soup. Boy did we find the best lunch! We split a Reuben and a bowl of bell pepper soup. Both were very flavorful and just delish! We agreed the soup was one of the best wed ever tasted! And the Reuben was just so good - not piled up with so much corned beef that you couldnt taste the other ingredients - Perfect! And the prices were great as well. Great Job!

Rico greeted us as we came in and was very friendly. He recommended the meatball sub, which he makes himself, to my wife and I. It was fantastic! My wife had the Reuben, and it was also great! Definitely coming back next time I’m in Lincolnton!

Had roast beef with provolone cheese sandwich on marble rye with horseradish on the side, delicious! My husband had the meatball sub, he said was very good.

I have been going to the meating place since it has opened. It was a friendly well priced meat/deli shop. Lately with new staff stumbling over each other with little direction, I have finally been insulted enough that I will no longer be shopping there. You see when I place a $30 dollar deli order and then watch as 5 customers come in after me and are waited on and receive their sandwich orders ahead of my order not even being started. My order was larger and my time just as valuable as the others just coming in for sandwiches, however I was ignored. This is not the way to treat a long time customer and expect to keep them. This is just not the way to treat people.

Friendly people, very well kept establishment. My wife and I thought we could only get Lebanon Bologna when we traveled north, but here it is five minutes from home. They have a large selection of deli meats and cheeses and beautiful cuts of beef and pork. Sausage looks amazing too. Im trying their sandwich takeout this weekend, so Ill definitely be back.

Showed up here on the 4th of July a little late, the man running the place unlocked the door and told me to come in. Sold me some two of the best tasting steaks I’ve had in quite some time, the place was very nice and well kept, the man was very respectful and courteous that goes a long way with me. I will definitely come back here, so if you want some great tasting meats at a good price look no further these guys are gonna be my go 2

The Meating Place is great. There were many different meat options. Along with the huge cuts of meat they had a wide variety of other meats such as salami, turkey, and buffalo chicken breast. Also many different types of cheese were showcased on the front. From beef to pork to cheese to dessert, The Meating Place has it all.

Filet mignon is fantastic. Not just one but every time. Nice staff, clean and such a sweet addition to our quaint town.

Phenomenal sandwich. Carolina reaper cheese on roast beef. Bread was super fresh. Cant wait to try the sausages and meats! Very clean and a fun place to sit and eat.

My husband and I shopped here for the first time today and I would definitely recommend them to everyone! The gentleman that helped us was knowledgeable and thought us some more about selecting a good steak. We walked away with two beautiful cuts of meat and grilled them up tonight and they were the best steaks! They were so tender and just about melted in our mouths. If someone is considering coming here, DO IT! You will not regret it!!!

First time eating here. My sandwich was very good and reasonably priced. Great nice atmosphere...nicely decorated and great pictures of old Lincolnton. Good selection of fresh meats and other foods. Ill definitely go back! The only concern I have are the hours. I wish they were open just one hour later than they currently are.

If you are not buying your meat from this place, you do not know what you are missing. A lot of the meat is cut locally so you are getting some of the freshest meat around. Everyone who works there is great to deal with.I have bought several things from all types of meat, beef, pork, and chicken, and it has all been better than you could buy at any store. I highly recommend it for all of your meat purchases

First off. I bought almost 4 lbs of the choice steak. About $60. I kinda thought it is a bit pricey. BUT I got home through them on the the grill and OH MY WORD. The price was not an issue. I havent hade a fresh steak like that in 10 years. The heck with grocery store meats. Staff was helpful, friendly, and all in all. You get a 10 star from me. MEETING PLACE, YOU GOT ME FOREVER. THANK YOU.

The store was well kept clean, the employees were professional and courteous. I had placed an order for fatback and literally received it the next day and they gave me call I requested. For any place in Lincolnton you need deli meat or cheese or any anything else for the matter do not hesitate to go to the Meeting Place you will NOT be disappointed.

Such a super cool place to stop for a sandwich! There is a tasty variety of meets to choose from. They also have a variety of breads to choose from as well. When you order, you pick up a sheet of paper that has the choices listed, you circle what you want and they make it. They either call your name and you pick it up or if its not to busy they will bring it to you. Tasted so Good! You should try this place! 😊

Stopped in a few weeks ago finally as we travel through town at times and always wanted to stop but didnt have time. Finally stopped and their beef and kielbasa just amazing!! Needless to say thankful for this local shop & products now!!!

Absolutely amazing! Everything is freshly made, delicious, and very reasonably priced. I will definitely become a regular here! If you havent been here, stop by here on your way through downtown. The chicken salad sandwich on Italian Wrap bread with Birch Beer soda is a perfect lunch.
