J-Tech was a very good company to work with. We had them repair damage from a hail storm on the roof, siding, fascia and gutters.My insurance company was being difficult in paying to repair the roof. Their 3rd party inspector did not think the roof was showing enough damage. I had J-Tech come out to do an inspection, and Josiah said the roof was completely trashed, along with the siding, fascia and gutters.Josiah was amazing, he took the lead in working with our insurance company, finally getting them send send out a company adjuster to re-inspect the house. The adjuster did eventually agree with Josiahs assessment and paid the claim in full. I dont think the project would have moved forward without his help.When the work commenced, the process was pretty smooth. I heard from the supervisor of each group for the roof, siding/fascia, and gutters when they were ready to do their part of the project. Rick on the roofing, Andy on the siding and Jerry with the gutters were all great to work with and communicated very well.They did everything to keep the disruptions to our normal days schedule to a minimum. .Jolene in the office kept us informed with all the paperwork and invoicing that needed to be completed.The project is now complete, and we liked they way the did all the work, so we have started up a project (non-insurance work) to have a couple of doors replaced.Im sure this work will be done just as professionally as the insurance work.

This staff is incredibly responsive and professional. They have a family type atmosphere and treat you that way. I had 12 windows replaced by J tech. From the salesman, Brian, to the install crew it was an extremely great experience. I live on a very busy street and the traffic noise was very loud inside, with the new windows I can hardly hear anything and they look great as well. A++ rating from me I highly recommend them.

J-Tech handled the insurance claim on my house. They have a great team in place. Dave was great to work with on the claim and answered all my questions every step of the way. Also, the crew chiefs who headed up the different trades did a great job communicating with me.The only thing that had some hiccups was the garage doors, but those issues werent J-Techs they were the vendors.Im very pleased with the quality of work and professionalism shown by J-Tech.

Its hard to pick a single rating for J-Tech, because I have very different opinions of different aspects of their company.I have several friends who own construction companies, and without exception, they all complain that its very difficult to find decent employees these days. I wont get into the modern social climate that I believe causes this problem, but its a nationwide problem across the entire industry, and one to which J-Tech is not immune.My opinion of J-Techs entry level help is not good. The salesman assured me that they could handle the somewhat unusual gutter configuration that my building required. The guys who actually installed my gutters insisted that their capabilities were far more basic, and then they created a situation that was even worse than they told me it would be. They put downspouts in the wrong place and hung the gutters with obvious dips that would never have routed the water to the downspouts. If I hadnt been standing there watching the entire process, it would not have ended well.That said, I have a very high opinion of J-Techs company leadership. When I wrote them after the initial install to complain about the results, they came right out to assess the situation, and then sent another crew out to completely replace the first set of gutters. This was their offer, not my request. After the second crew finished, the leadership came out again to inspect the work, and personally corrected some problems that the second crew had caused. The end result is that I finally have a set of gutters that should work very well for my setup.I also learned that because of the problems that came to light from my project, J-Techs owner has instituted new training policies for all of their salesmen that should make them much better informed about their installers capabilities. That isnt just a band-aid fix for my complaint; it shows that the owner really cares about improving their whole operation so that future clients dont have a reason to complain. You dont get that sort of response from most companies.Would I hire J-Tech again? No. Despite the great mindset of the company leadership, the actual install process (twice) was much more of a headache than it should have been, and required me to personally double check everything that they did. Hopefully, the changes that are being made will improve that for future customers, but I think Ill roll the dice with a different company the next time I need gutter work done. Of course, the next company may give me just as many headaches.

J-Tech from Lincoln, NE was professional from beginning to end. Tim provided the original quote. Jerry was the project manager. We put an addition (750 sq. ft.) on to our home (1,568 sq. ft.), it was a major face lift (2,318 sq. ft. total) for a ranch home from 1989. J-Tech installed roofing, brick veneer, siding and gutters.We had some additional work that was discovered during the project. We were informed of changes and had several discussions about how we wanted things. It was a team effort for all of us with J-Tech leading the way. J-Tech is a very no-hassle firm to work with. Estimate process is very smooth, and its very clear what the work is going to involve and cost.Construction crew performs the work in the same manner. They know what theyre doing, and get the job done quickly with no hassles, and very little work on your part. If you have any extra input or requirements, its no problem and they will fulfill them also.They installed gutter guards on our house, and new gutters/guards on our detached garage. When I mentioned I was going to put in rain barrels, they even made the necessary changes to the downspouts to make it easier for me to add them later.I had a minor request to replace a bent siding corner piece on the house. It didnt get done when the main work was performed, but was surprised that they made a special trip the next day just to replace it, since they had to fabricate that piece at the shop.They will certainly fulfill your needs to your complete satisfaction, with very little work/requirements on your part.

My sister and I had to have our house re-roofed and have the gutters and downspouts replaced. Jason took care of working with the insurance company. They were great about cleaning up after themselves and did a quality job. We were so impressed with the job that we decided to have them install new sliders out to the back deck. They are beautiful. They scheduled the work so that we would have them before the holidays. We have been so happy with the products and with J Tech that we have another project in mind. They are wonderful to work with and go above and beyond. Promises made promises kept.

We had hail damage to our roof and gutters. Chuck with J-Tech worked with our insurance adjuster when he came to report the damage; Chuck got on the roof with him to make sure we get enough funds to replace roof, all gutter covers, downspouts, etc. that was damaged by hail. He scheduled roof demo and installation, stayed in touch and answered all my questions, even recommended to move things away from patio to make sure our backyard stuff is not damaged. Roofing team was done in like half a day, did great cleanup and hauled away demo container the same day. Roof looks great!

They came out and did my gutters today, I am very happy with the work and the crew. Very friendly and didnt hesitate to answer any questions. Finished very fast and cleaned up after themselves. I would highly recommend them.

The guys at J Tech did a great job repairing my house after a hail storm. In addition to the roof, gutters and siding my patio door was damaged during the storm and also required replacement. Jason noticed that the prior owners put in a less expensive standard sized door previously. The guys at J Tech were able to replace it with a new specialty sized door that fit properly and looked great!

He also came through when my neighbor called to ask who to call for a roof leak coming straight into her bedroom. He was on it immediately and had someone repair the leak until a new roof could be put on. They are incredibly happy with the service they received! We had two sliding-glass doors installed in our home a few months ago. The guys were polite, cleaned up after themselves, and even went the extra mile by painting an exterior area around the door to match our trim. The doors are wonderful and are such an upgrade from what we had before.

I was needing a company to roof my elderly fathers house. I got multiple company recommendations and called them all. It was hard to get people to come to the house and even give me an estimate. Since I live in another state, I was not able to check up on things as well as I would, if I lived in town. I finally chose J Tech because they were affordable, (Not the least expensive, but not the most expensive) answered my phone calls or texts quickly, sent me pictures of the roof colors to choose, sent me information about the company, emailed me prices of different roof choices. They went above and beyond what any company has done for me. When the work was being done, they came when they said they would, Jeff Menagh (the estimator) sent me pictures of the progress, and the finished work. Jeff was very helpful and informative in the roofing process! When I needed an extra gutter they were over in a few days to install it. Jeff was wonderful!

We had 4 of our 2nd floor windows redone this February . Our rooms were much warmer with the new triple pane windows versus our old wooden double pane windows. This company hires subcontractors and rips them off by refusing to pay for their requested work. Put my small business in hot water and refuses to answer messages and emails. My opinion- give your hard-earned money to someone who respects our world and the way it is, not a company who hires subcontractors and requests corners cut to save money then uses those requests against them as reasons for not paying. I guess they gotta pay for that Huskers ad somehow! (Note- problems originated from Grand Island office).

Im writing a review because I have had so many poor experiences with contractors. Its actually more common to have a bad experience than a good one! BUT Mike Gregory with Jtech has impressed me on multiple occasions with various jobs in the past year!!He has tremendous expertise, communicates effectively, LISTENS, hes attentive and follows through. Asking how the job went after completion when most would be gone. I highly recommend him and Jtech.

I contacted J Tech about a full roof replacement after I had been ignored by two competitor companies for almost a year. J Tech called me back immediately, scheduled an appointment, and had someone meet with me within a week of contacting them. They did an excellent job of explaining the process of putting on a new roof and the products they would be using. They also answered all of my questions and addressed any concerns I had. Once we signed our contract and paid our down payment, it was about an eight week wait for our new roof. Once they were able to start on my roof, they had the entire project done in a day and cleaned things up so well that the only indication that they had been at our house was the new roof. I plan on using J Tech for any future roofing needs I have and highly recommend them.

J-Tech Construction, Very Bad ExperienceI will never use J-Tech again for roofing, hired J-Tech to re-roof my house. J-Tech’s claim to be the “Lincoln expert in roof repair and installation” is part fairy tale. J-Tech is no more a roof installer than I am.When problems and concerns over my roof installation were discovered J-Tech maintained this fairy tale until the Nebraska Attorney General’s Office assisted me in getting some of the facts. J-Tech had secretly hired a part-time roof installer.I could have saved thousand’s of dollars and lots of headache by going with one of the lower bids I had gotten from real roofing firms before hiring J-Tech. Of course none of those roofing firms claimed to be “J-Tech, Lincoln expert in roof repair and installation”.I have another house to re-roof. I know I will not use J-Tech Construction.
