So many selections to choose from, I got the chocolate German donut and my husband got to the Bavarian cream donut. To me the donuts are just a little bit bigger than average sized donuts which is perfect because I love donuts. And they were delicious and moist. My brother got a apple fritter and chocolate bar an old fashioned donut and a couple of other ones and I know for sure they will be eating those for a couple of days. They were delicious the atmosphere and there is amazing! I would recommend going! Can we stopped in on our way out of town to fly back to California. And I do have to say when we go back to Nebraska we will be visiting this place again!

My family and I were staying downtown and this location was super convenient as it was across the street from out hotel. It is located in a really cool older building (looks like an old courthouse or town hall). The have a great selection and flavors for every occasion with both yeast and cake varieties. I really enjoyed the blueberry strudel and they employee behind the counter told me the frequently change flavors. Definitely some fun and crazy donuts!

My sister and I stop in to get us a good donut, and some milk, we stayed to eat in, but the donuts taste like they was day old. And they was so dry. The milk was not very cold at all. If you are going to sell donuts please make sure they are fresh and the coolers, are working properly. I will never go to hurts donuts again. I gave 1 star just to be nice.

I love to come to hurts donuts! The donuts and milkshakes are amazing (once in a blue moon they will be dry). The reason I’m giving 3 stars is because there have been multiple times I’ve come in and felt uncomfortable by the employees. They don’t greet you and look at you like you are inconveniencing them. They get extra irritated when you ask for a milkshake. I have said “excuse me” or “thank you” and don’t get a response. I hope that part gets fixed!

I Went here on a Monday around 11am. They had all the donuts.Very clean. I’ve only been here during COVID times. No seating downstairs but there is seating upstairs. I took my donuts to go.I did use the bathroom. Very clean and no wait.The staff was very nice and patient with us, since it was our first time.We bought a dozen. Very creative on the names and the combinations.Don’t forget to check out the art work outside.

So far most of the cake donuts have been stale. And then they gave me a filled donut with nothing in it.

I got the Nutella donut. It was definitely cheap chocolate sauce. Nothing resembling Nutella. Everyone else enjoyed their donuts.

So disappointed, I was excited to come and try this place for the first time (From out of state). We went a little after 10pm and the donuts looked great unfortunately they were not fresh and tasted like they’ve been sitting out the whole day. What’s the best time to get a fresh donut so I can give this place another shot.

Staff is not friendly whatsoever. They seem incredibly annoyed and are not professional at all. Have been here a couple times and it’s the same every time. Giving it 2 starts for the vibes of the place and the mediocre donuts.

Maple bacon donut had soggy bacon and was so sweet it hurt my stomach.The mini donuts were dry and tasted old !The vanilla birthday cake had a weird after taste of mint.Everything was so very dry and old tasting and extremely sweet.Unfortunately that was my first and last time going, threw them all away there was no saving them or my mood after that horrible situation.Also told me they never have cinnamon rolls unless you order them. What kinda bakery doesnt carry baked goods 🤦🏾‍♀️👎🏾.

Usually this place is amazing! We brought our daughter here for a special treat for her birthday. The apple fritter my husband got smelled like fermented sourdough bread, It was disgusting. I got the peanut butter oreo cake donut and the donut part was stale and incredibly dry. My daughter ordered the Nutella donut and it wasnt even Nutella on the donut it was some sort of chocolate pudding or something like that. She was disappointed because she was really looking forward to going there. We probably wont be back considering how much we paid as well..

GF Donuts available the first Saturday of the month. Hands down the best GF donuts I’ve ever had (Hurts GF donuts are better than almost anyone else’s non-GF donuts). My kids get the GF and I get the non-GF; we’ve never had a bad donut from this place!!!

We stopped for some donuts as my boyfriend was raving about Hurts donuts (my daughter and I had never had them though), we got 4 regular donuts and 2 cake donuts and the cake donuts were delicious but the regular ones were sooooooo dry even milk couldn’t help them. Was very disappointed. 😔

With so many specialty donuts how do you keep them fresh. YOU DONT! I just had a donut that tasted like it was a week old because it probably was. Yes they are creative donuts but they are not good to eat. Keep them on your mantle or use as a paper weight, but dont eat them, they are more than a day old and taste like a shoe.

Cosmic Brownie and Andes Mint donuts this Tuesday! Also bought a nice purple souvenir cup and my friends had Blueberry and Strawberry streusel donut shakes.We were the only customers there at 2pm and left within ten minutes. Walked in with masks as mandated. Mind you there was an umasked DOG in store. She told us she couldnt serve us if we didnt put our masks over our nose. College student in front of us at register had mask below nose also. As we pointed that out she said we are in the middle of a pandemic and we need to act like adults. Difficult to find without google maps. This place sneaks up on you while driving by because they’re really isn’t a sign anywhere. The donuts are great, if you’ve been to Colorado they’ll remind you a lot of “voodoo doughnut” inspired it seems like. The pricing is fun but it’s more pricy to pick your own. Bear experience you will ever have with donuts! Themed donuts make this place fun. The size of the pastry is very large. Famous for the maple bacon topped donuts! I must say the standards like longjohns, apple fritters, glazed are exceptional and my personal favs. My grandson goes for the andies mint everytime.

I ordered 3 boxes of these donuts for a fundraiser our local Catholic school was doing. The boxes were damp and freezing cold when I received them....the donuts tasted horribly stale...the bottoms of them were wet and soggy. These were by far the absolute worst things I have ever tasted. I would never recommend these to anyone....so disappointed and what a wasted of 60.00!

Donuts are simple, and sometimes I fell like Hurts Donuts tries to do too much with the donut. Some of their wacky donuts are a bit too much for me. Their prices are a little high for what I think donuts should be and they are very strict on not giving out cups for water. What really makes this a 3 star for me, is one time they didnt have any regular glazed donuts. For a shop that is 24/7 and always has dozens of creative crazy donuts, they should always have a glazed donut in stock.

Can you say unique and YUMMY! They offer so many different & unusual flavors... bubblegum, banana or fruity pebbles. The huge cinnamon roll is amazing and is a great item to share. When we go we like to buy a dozen (everyone gets to pick 3) and then we taste test everyones picks. Great treat in the evening as well as in the morning.

The absolute worst Hurts Donuts you could go to. First called to check if the had a product. They did not so I asked when it would be made so I could plan on going in around said time. They told me they were made in the morning. I go in around 9:30am to find they didn’t even make them. So I asked the person in the location when they would be made. They told me the night crew makes them. So later that night I called around 7:30pm to be told that the morning crew makes them. So I had placed an order for them to be made the next morning online so it would be known that they should make some. Go in the next morning around 9am to again find no cinnamon rolls. The manager had corrected the situation by making some and charging me which was fine because at this point I just wanted a cinnamon roll. Fast forward two weeks, I call in yesterday morning asking for some to be made for 8:30am pick-up for the next day. Go in, to AGAIN find out they did not make them. I don’t understand how hard it is to take an order and fulfill it.

Our family had been excited to try their donuts after missing one of the ambulances that came to our area. This was my first experience with the business and I was treated so rudely. I live in Omaha and called in an order ahead of time to pickup. The person I spoke to had an attitude about us wanting to pick up curbside and pay over the phone. I called the store when we got there, as directed, but they didn’t pick up. Called once more, no answer. On the last call I made that was answered, I mentioned my name and that we arrived to pick up an order and the response was, “We saw you and we’re coming out. Stop calling.” And then hung up. How was I supposed to know? I was just following instructions.Sorry I was a bother, I will never return as a result. Happy now?

I work for Nelnet and they had brought some donuts in once and they were heavenly I was so looking forward to having some with my family ordered six for $18 with delivery and every one of them was dry at least a day old or two and very ordinary compared to what we had gotten at work it was highly highly disappointed due to this I will never go back

My friend and i drove circles in Lincoln to find this place to try it when we walked in they yelled do you have a mask i myaelf have underlining health issues ! Along with ptsd there i was shouting out to the world why i could not wear a mask as everyone looks and stares at me as if i was the disease . I quietly told my friend im leaving, and here i am outside in in the cold waiting and though your donuts are awsomely top notch i felt embarressed, humilated and worst of all i had to shout my vulnerabilty . Perhaps next time privatly ask someone why .

First trip to Hurts Donuts and it was quite interesting. The staff was very friendly and made the trip enjoyable. The selection of unique donuts was large and tasty.

Never in my life have I been stressed out for nearly 10 minutes trying to decide which donut to buy, because while I wanted to taste test every one of them, I could probably only safely eat one or two before blissfully dying of diabetic shock. I live in Omaha, but a trip to Hurts is basically mandatory now each time I visit Lincoln.

Tried hurts for the first time, after wanting to for a long time. The gal working was sort of... not real friendly, I guess Id say. She wasnt straight out rude but just sort of had this annoyed attitude and her tone sounded like she was totally bothered by our presence. Then the donuts werent even good. VERY dry and bland, and we bought several different kinds. They were all that way. The donuts we normally buy cost less than half the price of these and are WAY better, Ill stick with those in the future.

The name Hurtsdonuts is brilliant. Good variety; however, in my experience, the donuts were overpriced and not that good and the service was bad.

Donuts are super pretty but taste is okay. However, one must have a donut shake! Its the perfect blend of milk, flavor, and ice cream! Plus, you get a whole donut to top of your shake. Yummmmm!
