Went here twice over the weekend - lots of flavors, I dont think you can go wrong with any of them. The black walnut fudge ice cream is always good (and I believe is a flavor they always have available), and I tried the sweet corn ice cream for the first time and really enjoyed it!

We went there yesterday in a rainy afternoon, got two waffle ice creams, mocha chocolate chip and birthday cake. They were really big, waffle was crispy and tasty. The mocha chocolate was just traditional chocolate, delicious but not interesting. However, the birthday cake one was really great!

Feels like the most overrated (on Google maps) place in Lincoln 🙈 Why 4.7 people, where did it come from? Mocha Madness flavor is nothing about coffee (maybe a little bit like creme brulee flavor), Walnut smells strange and cookie dough is pretty flavorless comparing to what you usually get in other places. Location (it says it is new location, do not know whether it is permanent or temporary) is not cute either.

Super fun cheese. Oh, they also have fantastic ice cream, which they are known for.

A must-to go-to experience for anyone visiting the University of Nebraska at Lincoln and some of the best ice cream in the area! Beware of what cup-size of ice cream you get, cause you will get double of what you order (nice!). The products that you will find at the UNL Dairy Store are made at the University itself - most, if not all, in the same building... and during regular hours, you can even see some of these items being made! You wont only find ice cream here also - you can also find cheese, cookies, milk, milkshakes, drinks - many/most things dairy. Its a real cool place on a hot summers day, so I highly recommend the Dairy Store with their custom flavors - you wont regret it!

Quiet and nice place for work meeting or to study during the early part of the day. Have cashless pay options. Nice portion sizes and a good compliment of selections. Not as sugary as many branded flavors.

Been coming here years, generally great. In the summer I tend to come after sundown to avoid the heat. I get hard pack shakes around 8:40-8:50 with no issue. Today, a busy saturday night, the employees decided to clean the shake machine at 8:30. My business went to Ivana Cone, where it will stay for the foreseeable future.To management: either you have inconsistent policies (maybe none at all) or some rotten eggs on staff. Most people wouldnt bother to say anything, but my hope is whatever the issue is you now know. Good luck and thanks for the memories.

Great ice cream! I highly recommend that students from city campus make their way over to east campus just for the ice cream alone. I had a dish of chocolate ice cream with butterfingers and I thought it was great. My friend had a cone with strawberry and mint chocolate chip and he was also very impressed.

Cute little ice cream shop on the UNL Campus. Nice variety of flavors (with some fun ones like Sweet Corn and Tractor Toffee) and good prices. Mini size was perfect for kids. They also sell cheeses and meats that are locally made.

Pros: ice cream is cheap and edibleCons: the taste additives are bad. I had cookiencream and black walnut flavors. The best part of the first were oreos, and I could not eat the walnut, as it tasted too synthetic and not like walnut at all.

And the UNL Dairy Store is a great place to meet up with friends and family for a sweet treat. Ever changing delicious flavors guarantee a delightful surprise each time you go. Reasonable prices, open late, indoor and outdoor seating...what more could you want? Be sure to check out the meats and cheeses in the refrigerator cases too.

The ice cream here is simply amazing... Definitely worth the destination! Couldnt get any fresher since it is made right there. My all-time favorite is the scarlet and cream... Vanilla ice cream with strawberry swirls. It is the creamiest, most decadent, smoothest ice cream you will ever have. The flavor is amazing as well. It is the best place ever to go have ice cream. Nice variety as well.

One of the great ice-cream places in Lincoln. Their products are very fresh and tasty.They have many different flavors. The place is in the campus so your kids can run around in a safe environment. You can also walk around the building and find out how they produce some of their dairy products. You would not regret it.

Awesome homegrown store!! Besides the tasty ice cream they offer other dairy items for sale in store and also offer mail order. Prices are low and service is great. Very clean and well kept inside. Only problem might be parking spaces can sometimes be difficult to find without a great deal of walking.

I went here over the weekend at the recommendation of a friend who went here and lived in Lincoln. Its easy to find and get parked on the weekend. The ice cream is delish and I got some cheese to take home.

All-time favorite ice cream place! A cappuccino chocolate chip waffle cone and a stroll through the gardens makes any day even better! I have always had great service and they offer a variety of dairy products. Neat building too, you get to see where the ice cream is made! East campus is beautiful, plenty of scenery to enjoy.

My favorite ice cream place! Creamy, fresh goodness in a cup. Or cone, waffle cone, or shake. A large variety of flavors,including some unusual offerings. My favorites include peach, key lime pie, and lavender white chocolate. Take your ice cream for a walk through East Campus arboretum and gardens for a relaxing end to your day. They also have freshly made cheeses. Delish.

Good ice cream wheelchair accessible no elevators or anything like that there are Ramp is a little steeper than normal I dont think theyre up to code these days. Door I dont think automatically open for you but two other wheelchair individuals and I got in there just fine and wished we could eat more ice cream cuz it was delicious we go up there once a while we take a wheel chairs from your apartments up to the Store and good times good ice cream what more can you ask for.

Quality would be worlds better with fewer and higher quality ingredients. The artificial colors and flavors, use of corn syrup, preservatives and other fillers make it no more special than buying a cheap gallon of ice cream at the grocery store, for the same price of 2 cones. Best part is going to sit in the arboretum.

Ive officially been to this location at least ten times, and feel quite confident about this dairy store. The coffee and chai tea latte are great, as well as their ice cream. Worth a visit when you are in UNL East campus.

Must try. You can see how the ice cream is made with a viewing window. Good ice cream options and tastes good. Campus is nice to walk around also. Many benches, trees, and scenery.

I used to bring my family quite frequently. My favorite flavor is Scarlet and Cream. It used to be fantastic with large chunks of real strawberries but now theyve changed the recipe to something that tastes processed and could find at virtually any other ice cream shop. Bring back the original Scarlet and cream recipe!

Delicious homemade ice cream. A good place to take your kids because you can look through a glass wall and see their whole mixing process for their ice cream makers and there is a walking path nearby. Interesting flavors and an average ice cream shop price. Sometimes you have to wait in line a long time.

I guess I dont see the appeal. As others have pointed out, parking isnt very good (and the signage is pretty confusing). The place is in bad need of a remodel and is kinda dirty. The people working here are kinda lackadaisical (one guy working the counter while two girls sat in the back on their phones). The ice cream was fine, but had ice crystals in it and was twice the price of most normal ice cream places. Not really very impressive.

Delicious! We found this spot while participating with the Nebraska Passport Program last year. It is a stop on the passport again this year, which meant a return visit. There are several ice cream choices to choose from including a daily special ice cream. Everyone in my family found something to satisfy their sweet tooth.

Highly recommend! Recommend rum raisin, tiramisu, and sweet corn flavors. Yes, like what corn on the cob tastes like only ice cream. This has been a staple at UNL for over 100 years for a reason.

Its on the A MUST GO PLACE if your visiting Lincoln. They have amazing recipes an make the ice cream on site ! I had butterscotch Frost..named after our football coach Scott Frost.

A very cool icecream shop! They have many different icecream flavors and there is a walkway where you can see the different equipment that the students use for all sorts of dairy processes.

We love this place. I dont pretend to think that its healthy, but the ice cream is creamy, we like the flavors weve had, and have had all good experiences with the student staff. Theyre helpful and give generous portions. This is the only place that helps us be more eco friendly with our purchases and live a zero-waste lifestyle.

The ice cream always tastes so good and they switch out flavors. Its made locally. Butter brickle is my go-to, but sometimes I try other flavors. Its fun to get ice cream and eat outside to enjoy East Campus views.
