We have been working with MWT for years now, they are very respectful when we send our clients there and our process and we love them for that. They have wide selections options at both Lincoln and Omaha locations to pick from. Rob, Kayla and BJ are always a joy to work with!!!! It was a no brainer when it was time to build our house to use them for our countertops. We called and made a appointment to make sure someone was there so we could view the tops we are interested in. We are so in LOVE with our tops especially our island top!!!! Never seen anything like it so so pretty!!!

If I could give Midwest 0 stars I would,, because that is what they earned.. We only went to Midwest after A1 quoted us a 30 day lead time for the stone we wanted, and we were on a time crunch. We went to A1 on Jan 23 2021 and was pointed to the yard to look on our own. After about an hour in the yard we finally found something that was acceptable, went inside and gave our rough measurements to the guy at the counter who took down all our info and said Rob would be in touch this week. That week turned into 3 weeks before Rob must have finally got tired of me calling and sent me a half asked quote, which I immediately accepted. We then waited another 2 weeks before he would get back to me and send someone out to measure, then a other 2 weeks before getting an install date of March 26th, a full 8 weeks after ordering the stone. On March 25th Rob called and told me the stone we picked out had been damaged from sitting outside too long and we would have to pick out something else. We discussed the timline and he pulled the COVID card, blaming their poor customer service on Covid. I immediately cancelled the order. The next day we went back to A1 and by a stroke of luck they had a remnant of the exact stone we originally wanted. They measure the next day and installed the next Monday, 10 days start to finish and the price was 300 bucks cheaper than at Midwest. I hope midwest gets their customer service issues fixed.

My builder uses this company regularly. I was told by my builder to go down to Midwest to pick out my solid surface countertops. I asked the young lady who was helping us what our budget was since our builder wouldnt tell me my budget (Fowler Custom Homes). The young lady told me that was between them and our builder. You have got to be kidding. So we picked out some quartz from the showroom since no one would tell us where to find the quartz slabs in the lot, and left.Went straight to A1 Cabinet and Granite, as we have used them on remodel projects before. Found a gorgeous Calcutta quartz and coordinated the cuts and installation ourselves. Turned out beautifully!By the way, when we got the quote back from our builder, we were over budget. What budget? Oh, you mean the one thats a secret...?

Working with Midwest Tile and Granite to select granite for our master bath has been an awesome experience. The patience they have shown us as we explore options has been impressive. I can’t describe how glad we are that we started this journey at Midwest Tile.We couldn’t be happier with the level of service we have received from Rob, Kayla, and everyone we have talked to during this journey!! Thank you all for making this a great experience for us.

The reason for the low rating isn’t the quality of the product. They do lack in customer service skills.I went to look at remnants for a vanity top, they took me out back and left me there. Mind you they had no one at their business at the time. I had some questions about different types of stone and tried to fond someone, but no one around. That’s only the beginning of the issues. Had to wait over a month for a quote, they wouldn’t give it to me over the phone and had to ask several times to get it emailed. After I finally received the quote I figured the price was reasonable, so I decided to move forward with the process. I went in to pay the cut deposit and they had asked me when I needed it? Thats all the asked. A few days later I get a phone call asking for my sink measurements, I obliged and gave them what they asked for. The next day I received a second phone call asking me to bring the sink in so they could measure it. I told them about the previous call and they insisted on me bring the sink to them. Turns out they just wanted the template. A few days after this I was asked about my vanity measurements, how I wanted the edges and corners done perplexed that this wasn’t asked when I was at their store the two times prior. Finally after all said and done, they failed to meet the time frame in which we had discussed. I will probably never use this company again after all of this. But maybe your experience will be different.

I have been doing business with them the last 8 years. The last 3 countertop projects went well in the past. But now I waited over two months for an estimate. I had to call twice in the past two weeks and finally got the estimate after the second call. The estimate was a lot higher in price for the exact same granite that I got in the past. Two months of waiting for nothing. I decided to go with A1 cabinets. The prices are way cheaper for granite. I actually saved 50% compared to Midwest tile. I got an estimate the same day while I was there selecting my granite. It was installed five days later.

We picked out granite for our house from them, as the builder we went through uses them, and since the time we walked in they seemed clueless about how the process worked. We asked for pricing on the slabs, but they couldnt give that to us because only one guy is in charge of that and wasnt around. The second time we visited to actually pick out our slab, the lady at the desk was super helpful, but still never called me to tell me the final pricing of our project. I called their office three times in a two week span, even got Robs personal work phone, and was also put on hold for 5 minutes waiting to talk to him once. The whole process seemed strange. At every turn, we were told we had to wait for dimensions or sizing for the sink, which my builder was telling me they already had, then when we pick out our slab, all they can tell us is that it is within budget. I agree with the first review, I didnt like waiting for a quote this long, and then I didnt even get my answer. No one can tell me how much my granite cost, even though I am the one paying for it. They should be able to give customers pricing, no matter who they are working with to build their house.
