Bought an electric car from B&D. Theyre an old school establishment so it was clear they werent super familiar with electric cars. But I was really happy with the entire buying experience. Really nice and professional staff.
Bought a 2015 outlander and it was a total lemon. Wish nebraska had a lemon law. They were very friendly but the warranty I purchased thru them was also an absolute nightmare. Will never do business here again. I overpaid bc I figured with the carfax it was a great vehicle ha.

Pretty awful experience for me. Went to look at 2 Jeep wranglers. 1 was pretty sweet but they had it priced more expensive online than in person. No big deal really as it was a pleasant surprise to see the car I was interested in was less expensive than advertised. I looked at the other Jeep and their was a puddle of water inside due to the top leaking. I’m sure they knew about it beforehand as the guy didn’t act all surprised really. He told me to come back the next day so the owner could evaluate my trade in. I told him what I’d prefer to get out of it, which was more than reasonable, and he low balled me $1000 less and below KBB. They didn’t really act like they wanted my business. Their office smelled like cigarettes too. Was my first and only time interacting with these guys and I highly doubt ill ever step foot back there again willingly

We just recently purchased our third vehicle from them: my dad bought a truck from them many years ago, and it served me very well throughout my college years. I am always so happy that they dont pressure you into anything, they know all the details about their vehicles, and they are really honest and straightforward. As another reviewer said, I cant recommend them enough! I usually dont give 5 stars unless I truly believe its warranted. The guys at B&D are the real deal. Excellent service, and it has been great to finance through them. Makes car buying SO much less stressful! Even during a global pandemic!

This was a great experience from start to finish. B and Ds business model is to do all the necessary maintenance and repairs on a car to get it to NADA clean retail condition. Then they sell if for this price which is a win- win for both sides. You dont have to worry that theyre trying to screw you and youre not going to screw them. They will show you everything that was checked and what was done to the car to get it in that condition. In my case, I noticed that the passenger seat motor only went in one direction. I bought the car trusting that they would make it right. They did. They actually drove a loaner car out to my office (the complete opposite side of town) and left it with me for two days while they fixed the problem. They also ordered me an owners manual (which was missing) and mailed it to me. Everybody I dealt with was a professional, no bs and overall good guys (especially Marv). Next time I need a car, I will start here.
I purchased my third car from them in the spring of this year. I can’t recommend this place enough. I know NOTHING about cars and they don’t take advantage of that. They make sure that I’m seeing things from all angles before I’m signing on any dotted line. I really appreciate the way they do business and I will be a customer for life. They have gone out of their way to make sure that I’m in the right vehicle for my needs. To say they have gone above and beyond is an understatement!

I bought a 2011 Cadillac from them from Troy Martens. They bent over backwards to make sure I was satisfied, and everything was in order. Several members of my family have dealt with them in the past, all good experiences, and they didnt disappoint this time either. Id highly recommend them to anybody!
Salesmen were condescending and rude. They got incredibly defensive when we tried to negotiate the trade-in value of my car and actually walked away from the conversation. Id like to note we were civil. Literally all we did was present a counter offer and the owner got offended. If you want to feel like a valued customer and not a massive annoyance, I wouldnt recommend buying here!

Check with any reputable mechanic or body shop in town, and you will most assuredly hear, Dont ever buy a vehicle from these guys. They used to be somewhat decent, but since they opened their own garage, and started fixing damaged cars and falsely selling/advertising them, they are just another scummy used-car sale lot.

The gentleman who sold us our car was rude to my husband and I after we came back from the bank and told him the bank would only offer so much money for the car the gentleman was trying to sell us. It seemed as if he was offended that we had told him our bank basically said the car was over priced.Aside from that we had a pretty decent experience!

Just bought a Jeep Liberty for 2 grand. They were very up front in the fact that it needs brakes (which my mother and I saw when we looked around at it checking out its condition) and Troy was absolutely amazing. If I didnt plan on keeping this car for a while, Id definitely go back to them! Even more awesome, because the car was so cheap they waived the documentation fee so that right there saved me enough money to get the mirror replaced! Cant recommend them enough!Theres a reason theyre the most recommended used dealership in town.
Definitely glad I stopped here. I went to B&D after leaving some other places since the other dealers I went to just had sales people that weren’t listening to a word I was saying, like blatant disregard for any words coming out of my mouth. These guys are awesome. They don’t negotiate their prices because they have the best prices in town for what you get, plus they don’t jack up the prices just to lower them down to what they actually want for them. It was an easy process and got the vehicle I was wanting without the typical hassles or BS that you get at other car lots. They are up front and honest, without being pushy. The smaller dealership gives more personalized service, the vehicle was priced right and they also fixed a couple of things. The buying experience from start to finish went smooth and by the time we were done, they felt like old friends. Marv, our salesman was great!

I searched online for a car and found their listing on KBB which had 2 of their cars labeled as good price. These cars descriptions on their website had links in them which went to the CarFax page for both vehicles. B&D Auto pay for all of their cars to be viewed in CarFax so I was able to see the entire history of the cars, for free, without any interaction from them at all which was a huge plus for me.When I went in to look at the cars they immediately let me look at them and I was able to ride in both with no hassle. Once I decided that I wanted one of them, I was pre-approved at my bank and they were perfectly fine with me going through my bank for the loan. They were not pushy at all to me, and based on what I saw with other customers while I was there, they werent pushy to them either!I wasnt able to give them a check that day, so they offered to drive the car up to Omaha for me so that my wife and I wouldnt have to drive back! They even drove to my wifes work which was on the opposite side of Omaha!Now, they did tell me that they needed to add one more part to the car (a hubcap) and that they could send it to me through the mail, they actually ended up replacing the tire, which was fine but I did have to drive back down from Omaha. However they let me borrow a car until the repair was done!All in all, buying from here felt casual but very professional. I didnt feel like I needed to fight with anyone or overcome any obstacle with them. Honestly, I saw a fair priced car online (with a free history!) and went and bought it the next day with ease. It was as close as possible to picking a car off the shelf and taking it home! I will definitely recommend these guys to my friends and family as there were too many positives not to recommend buying from here!Troy was the person I saw there and he was exceptional!

We want to say thank you for the way were treated by all the staff we worked with in the purchase of our 2007 F150 truck finding you need a vehicle can be disheartening in and of itself, having to look in a snow storm adds to the challenge. Marv was very helpful and got us on our way. Then it was on to the paperwork, and that was kind of fun. When we needed a little repair work Ron and the crew did an excellent job and in a very timely manner. I would say this was one of the best car buying experiences we have had and would definitely recommend you to others. Ive bought my share of cars over the years, called on Thursday and talked to Marv, asked him about what he thought mine was worth without seeing it to trade in, drove in Saturday and looked at the one we were talking about, drove it, had mine appraised for more than he thought, shook hands on the deal and left within the hour with our vehicle. All I can say is get the extended warranty. It saved me because my car went into the shop twice in the first week of owning it! They did fix my car as soon as my parts were available and gave me a loaner car during the wait. They were kind and good customer service was also noticed.

I just wanted to say that the 2 gentlemen at the desk in your repair shop are the reason we keep coming back! I have NEVER experienced that here. Weve had nothing but positive experiences here (& that says something because who likes to spend money on repairs???:) ). We drove over 2 hours to test drive & possibly buy a car here. After driving the car, we found an issue with the break caliper sticking & they were not too thrilled to fix it. We drove it for about 20 minutes & it was so hot the service guy could not even hold on to it. The guy in the shop was just plain rude. They were asking $2000.00 over the NADA book price for this car & would not budge on it. They claimed they went through the car but it was pretty clear they had not. We have never experienced such a cold place to spend thousands of dollars in. Needless to say... we walked away & will never go back.

I hate the process of buying a car but B&D made it easy, and a relaxed experience. Never felt any type of pressure whatsoever, and was given a fair price for my trade in. It really was a no hassle experience.
Call before heading over to ensure they had the car I was looking for. Specialffly asked which location the car was at. Arrived to find out the car was at the other lot. Understandable but the second wasnt open, even though it was supposed to be. No one offered to show us the car anyway. Owner arrived, he didnt offer to show us the car at the other lot. Eventually, owner found his son, who was supposed to have the other lot open so we over there... it got worse.
I got a used car from them with a good report history for the most part. They were about a grand over book, and claimed to be a no haggle place. They said multiple times they check everything and replace brakes 50% or less. My independent mechanic pre purchase check said they were less than half, but they still wouldnt replace them. Duteau ended up fixing many wrongs on the car made when it changed from dealership to auction to used car place. The 60k maintenance I had done cost a thousand bucks so, would have liked an appropriate cost from b&d. The old guy that sold us the car pretty much sat back in his chair, knowing we were going to buy the car. Folded his hands and said this is the price take it or leave it, other people were also wanting and looking at this car he said. Despite spending money on pre purchase checks and having information that said the car was overpriced for the maintenance it absolutely needed. In the end I got a good car, but will not buy from them again even if it means missing out on the right car. They were just blunt and kind of rude about the price. My bad, sorry for wanting a fair deal knowing what would need to be repaired. Would recommend, maybe, maybe not. I will get certified from a brand dealership next time.

Disappointed in the service, but more disappointed in how the mistake was handled.Look, used care sales is an industry with a poor reputation and this company claims to be different. They claim that it is where a handshake still means something. That is taken from the heading of their website. They claim to not negotiate because they price fairly after fixing what needs to be fixed on the cars. Ill admit, that is different and it seemed refreshing. However, while looking for a work vehicle we found one there and reached out. This was JUST as the vehicle was posted online; still no pictures as it was in the body shop getting a few rust patches fixed, but the price was set so they gave us the address and told us to head over and take a peek. We liked it and wanted to get it as long as it drove well once they got the truck back. We wanted to save a bit of money so we asked for them not to change out the tires or detail the vehicle and they agreed and dropped the price $900 from list. They said they would reach out once the truck was back at their location and this is where the trouble began. They never called, I had to check in each week for 3 weeks. On the 3rd week the gentleman I was working with didnt remember what was discussed prior so I jogged his memory. After admitting they messed up (they got new tires, detailed, and sent to get some upholstery fixed and raised the price 1900 from what we agreed on) by not honoring what was agreed upon, the sales rep started blaming me for not calling and confirming despite me calling 3 times (once per week) and stopping in twice to talk in person. It turns out the vehicle was also promised to someone else (who probably was going to pay the new list price) even though there was already a deal agreed on ahead of time. Usually, I get things in writing, but here they kept saying they do handshake deals and they are a good, reputable company so I let my guard down. Anyway, I write this novel of a review to explain the circumstances, but basically, they made an agreement, did the opposite of that agreement and raised the price 1900, and then tried to blame the customer for not confirming even though that was completed face to face with the sales rep. We will shop elsewhere.
Bought a car here and that week we went on vacation. The car broke down and we had to have it towed. The dealership covered the cost of the battery cables but complained about the price. We have had nothing but problems since we bought it. We had test drove a car before this one that broke down on the street right off the lot. That should have been a sign.

Have some decent trucks on the lot was looking at a 04-05 2500 work truck standard cab with 37k on the clock. Talked to Andrew who talked to the guy in charge lol. 17+ k obviously was 4k over book but had dings and such would not go under 17 lol. Books for 13 and has roll up windows a work truck completely. Becides the milage and rust free chevy there is nothing there becides a pushy salesman and a need to pay more than 4k over book😂 Ill get a better deal elsewhere. Insurance would never cover a way overbooked sale lol

Ive always liked B and D Auto and bought a car there last year. My problem is I recommended it to my daughter who had very little money to spend. She purchased a car a couple of months ago and now facing large repair bill.

Was very very disappointed with the customer service. I show up wearing my oxygen tank because I need it, look up and see this guy walking towards me like hey, you cant park in the handicap space as Im digging for my blue placard so that slows him down a bit. Next we chat a little I would tell you his name but he never introduced himself... salesman 101 I would have thought. Then he asked what my budget was because salesman 102 right? So I tell him what my husband told me... whatever you want, now salesman 103 taught me to go for the gold! Nope WALKED PAST A GO CART! To walk with my oxygen half way down the lot past a Jaguar and a Cadillac to show me some little Chevy sedan ewww anyway then its back past the go cart (and I pointed to it this time) and was ignored down the other side of the lot where I looked at a couple more cars but honestly by this point Im so out of breath I can hardly hold a conversation so Im beginning to get a bad attitude and it was warm out so I was done with this guy, obviously wasnt trying to make me a customer so why be one! Now given the fact I showed up in a 2007 Toyota yaris with a manual transmission and a speedometer that read 199,650.0 that I taught two teenage boys how to drive (p.o.s) should not detract from the fact that when I said my budget knows no bounds i meant it! So just let it be known that I went to Diers Ford in Fremont and spent $30,000 on a beautiful used car that I am very happy with! Glad William got a bonus and not this guy. He was beyond no pressure he didnt even give me his card when we done!
You deserve zero stars. I called and talked to Jerry and told him I was driving from Omaha to test drive 2 cars and inquired about both. He said, come on out Halfway to Lincoln I called him again to let him know I would be here in 15 minutes. When I arrived Jerry tells me that the Mazda 3 Tribute is in the body shop! No apology. I ask about the Suzuki SX4...it is also in the shop! Again no apology. Waste of my time. Maybe Jerry is low on the sales floor and didnt know but come on.. .both cars in the shop, theres a red flag. Ive wasted too much of my time with this bunch. Hopefully I can save someone else some time and effort. Buying in Omaha tomorrow.

Daughter bought her first car here and it was a great car. Therefore one star She paid cash. She was not told that the car had a lein on it and that would delay the title getting to her. Then she was told to lean was released but the title would now go to the state and then to my daughter. NOT TRUE. After showing her lawyer the paperwork, she noticed the bill of sale said she still had the entire amount due and did not show that she had paid off the car. She did have a separate receipt thank goodness. But it made us wonder why the lie about the lean and the title and why was her cash payment not reflected on the bill of sale??? Called them asking for a bill of sale that reflected the proper payment and the guy was a jerk and that we just could not read the paperwork right and talked nervously and rudely over the top of me. When i asked why he lied to her about the title going to the state, he became angry and beligerant, belityling us as human beings and saying we were dumb and jusy didnt know what we were talking about He told me he doubted she had the money for a lawyer and talked fast and loud so I could not get another word in. He said threatening that we needed to bring the paperwork in there and he would show us how to read it correctly. No way I am going in there alone after being strongarmed on the phone and a lawyer telling me that her bill of sale should have reflected her payment and that a title is not sent to the state . May end up being legit. But to talk over me and demean me as a customer is not good customer service . Awful service, bullies their customers who bring legitimate problems totthem, questionable paperwork, will not return.
Employees were very nice. Next time I get a newer car Ill go to B&D first.
