The customer service was awesome!! I had an issue with a memory card not reading my pictures. I asked about having the photos recovered. The gentleman loaded my SD card into his computer and could see the photos. He copied them to a flash drive without having to use the recovery software. So I got my photos at a much cheaper price. I will definitely be back!!

Amazing customer service that goes ABOVE and beyond! I found out my battery charger for my Nikon D850 suddenly stopped working the day before I was to leave on an African safari--that day just so happened to be a Sunday AND the 4th of July, meaning Rockbrook was closed. I contacted them by Instagram about my problem and to see if I might be able to rush there before my flight the next day, but they instead arranged for an employee to meet me that evening to sell me a new charger!! I am forever thankful for such flexible, understanding, and community-minded folks at Rockbrook, and will continue to use them first for anything camera/photo related. THANK YOU to all the folks at Rockbrook (and especially to Kim for meeting me on her day off and a public holiday)!

I absolutely LOVE going to Rockbrook. Theres just something about going into a physical camera store, rather than buying online, that just feels right. As someone who shoots both photo and video for anything from weddings, to corporate work, to D1 athletics, Rockbrook almost always has the the gear I need. On top of that, the staff are so incredibly kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. They have saved the day many times when I needed an emergency piece of gear or needed prints day of order. Kim and Mike answer every question I can throw at them and just know their stuff. If you need camera gear, or want to learn more about cameras in general I cannot recommend going into the store enough.

When mulling the purchase of an item thats to last for years, its nice to have the assurance that youre receiving quality information. These folks know their stuff up one side and down the other. As always, Mike was extremely helpful, both before the sale and well after. You may be able to find the occasional deal online here or there, but being able to go hands-on with an expert by your side gives you way more confidence in your purchase, believe me.

This store was fantastic!!!!! A truly passionate camera outlet. Open and engaging staff, a well curated selection of equipment that fits whatever you might need. Everything I saw displayed exuded quality.There was high end professional gear if thats what you need, but they also catered to amateurs in the SLR realm as well as all in between.I would strongly recommend Rockbrook to anyone who wants an in-store experience with patient and knowledgeable staff who are willing and able to help.

I am so happy that a place like this is here in Lincoln. I was annoyed that when I checked out my equipment they only gave me a half charged battery and a dead battery for my camera. They also only included one AA battery in my wireless LAV set.

I rented a lens with Rockbrook Camera in Lincoln, NE last weekend. Great lens and great service. I like the simple way these nice guys do business. Would definitely make a rental again. Highly recommended.

Worse place to deal with. Took lens in to trade bought for $549 from them and they offered me $30 just because it works on some cameras.

Worst customer service Ive ever experienced in a camera shop. Ive come here three times in the last six months. All three times the service was awful. Staff were poorly informed and consistently tried to sell me things I didnt need and wasnt asking for.When I requested a zoom lens that had been checked out earlier, a cashier tried to push a fixed/prime on me at the same rental price saying it would do the same thing! Another time I asked for a particular tripod they had advertised online and they insisted on attempting to sell me a different tripod at twice the price. I had to interrupt the pitch repeatedly before the clerk gave in and showed me the one I had asked for.To top it off, during every visit cashiers refused to make eye contact while they fumbled behind the counter for 20 minutes at a time in between customers.Ive had better experiences online than in this store! Its closer to my studio than any other camera shop. Unfortunately, I would drive the extra mile to avoid it.

Was having a time setting up my Nikon D3400 Snapbridge Bluetooth Connection. Took it to Rockbrook Lincoln and was helped by Kim. She was very patient, and tenacious about overcoming the problems I was having. Even though it was a Saturday, and they were extremely busy, she stayed on the project and made everything work just as it is supposed to. Thank You Kim and thanks to all at Rockbrook. So glad there is great support for us Nikon users.

Pretty good selection of what I was looking for. They left me alone until I had questions, then were there to answer everything I asked. I didnt see any bargains but prices were closer to MSRP from what I looked at (slightly below on some items).

Great experience with this place! Purchasing my camera was perfectly fine. The sales associate (Brett) was knowledgable, friendly, and patient. He actually geared me towards a different camera then what I came in intending to buy because he thought a different option would be better for me. He could have easily just rang up the one I came into buy, had an easy sale, and get me in and out the door quickly, but he took the time to talk to me and find a good fit for me. (And it wasnt him trying to up-sell me either, because the one I came in wanting and the one I ended up purchasing were in the same pricing level).What put my experience over the top was the free camera class they offer with the purchase of a camera. This 2-hour class helps you learn the settings and how to use your camera. Purchasing a nice camera to take pictures is kind of pointless if you dont know how to use it and this class was really informative and helpful (and also taught by the very same sales associate, Brett, who helped me through my initial purchase). I learned so much from this class and it was taught in a very simple way to understand. Im still learning this camera but I feel WAY better and know what a lot of the different buttons/settings are and what all the different numbers mean! It was also very relaxed and if you had questions at any point you were encouraged to ask right then and there. Brett also encouraged that if any questions came up after the class we were welcome at anytime to come in to get those answered. If you purchase a camera through them, I highly recommend taking advantage of that class!!Lastly, Ill add that their prices are also very competitive, which I didnt expect from a nicer store like this. Out of curiosity, I pulled up the same camera on bestbuy.com and Rockbrook had the better price.Thank you Rockbrook!

Being the only camera store in Lincoln, Rockbrook has a surprisingly large demographic to serve. When people think camera store they immediately assume expensive, high-end DSLRs, and while Rockbrook certainly caters to that crowd they also offer plenty of other services to serve all kinds of customers.Rockbrook is one of the only places in Nebraska that will process film. 35mm, 120, Super 8, etc. Rockbrook also has a very extensive rental catalog, a very crucial thing to have locally in case an emergency occurs and some of your equipment fails.The people working their are knowledgable and provide some of the best insight you can get in the city.

This store failed to meet basic customer service expectations. They didnt have the flash that I wanted. So I purchased the next closest alternative. Upon trying to return the item with the all the original packaging - they decided that they wouldnt return the item. They called me a liar despite having the transaction receipt. They lacked any and all professionalism.
