A1 and Lodge was great to work with. Lodge helped us pick out the perfect granite for our remodel. They gave us a fair price, came out to measure and install on time and made the whole process smooth. The installers did a great job, arrived early and had the job done in no time with no mess to clean up. I would highly recommend A1 and Lodge for new countertops.

A1 ended up to be the highest quality and the best in price and a lot of choices to choose from. Their customer service is excellent, person who came to do the measurements helped us with design and better layout for our kitchen, so at the end it came out to be much better than it was previously. As far as home remodeling projects are concerned, it would be hard to beat out A1. I redid my kitchen and hired A1 for the granite counter tops. The old surface they installed the new top on wasn’t perfect by any means, but the installers were able to put on the new granite with ease. A1 has a great selection of surfaces and sinks and have a great customer service staff. Next major project, I’m definitely coming back. 5 stars for sure.

Dont select a patterned stone or ask them to cut specific measurements. I did and they deliberately did both things the way they wanted not the way I wanted. The countertops had a 2.5 inch overhang which meant I couldnt access the dishwasher controls. They brought me countertops with a huge white blob in the middle. They did agree to redo the countertops but I had to wait about 2 months. Even when they agreed to let me preview the cuts they case the the previews about an hour before they were supposed to be delivering and installing which made me feel pressured to agree to another bad countertop. Overall extremely poor customer service. The 1 and only time they actually reached out to me by phone was when me final bill became past due.

Dia and the team at A1 are such a joy to work with and I LOVE my new granite!!! The process was simple and painless, so fast and easy!We were so impressed with the A1 installation team!! I would never have guessed 3 people could manage an installation job that large. Much less so quickly and efficiently!! I called A1 Cabinet because we needed a set of doors to enclose a previously open cabinet. We had just bought a new home in Kansas City and saw that the previous owners had A1 cabinets installed during their remodel 2 years ago. Lodge helped us find the right style and size of doors and worked with us to get us what we needed at a very fair price.

We decided to stop in after seeing an ad in the local paper. We were impressed with their assistance and helping us choose what would work with our space. We revived a free quote, and was able to schedule for their measurements and installation within a week. We then received a call that they would actually measure on a Thursday and planned to install Saturday, so that was very awesome. They were in constant contact with my husband about when they would arrive and pricing. They arrived right at 9 am on Saturday and installed in about two hours. Very pleased with the work and professionalism, and will be recommending to others!

Glad I found A-1 Cabinets & Granite for my latest remodel project. Cabinets are high quality and reasonably priced. And the Quartz counters competitively priced as well. Trish was an excellent resource to design my kitchen layout and her suggestions very helpful. Her CAD layout was spot on for the kitchen cabinets and fit perfectly during install. I highly recommend A-1 based on quality and on service provided. I will use them again.

I really enjoyed working with this company. They showed a high level of customer care and the pricing is great. My family received a free measurement along with a free quote. The process was really easy and the the install turned out great. We definitely received a far superior product compared to the price. I would recommend setting up a free measurement or stopping by their showroom.

We received excellent customer service, came in way under on cost compared to estimate. The guys did an amazing job on the installation. They were very careful with our new cabinets. Cleaned up after themselves. They asked questions when clarifying placement of sink faucets. They did a great job with making sure we were happy and talked to us about what to do after they left. The countertops are beautiful. We were very concerned when we were told we would have two seams due to flow of counter top. They were so precise with matching up the pieces it is almost invisible. You really have to look to find them. We are very happy customers !!

We continue to use A1 because of their quality, service and prices. Trish always takes care of making sure we get what we need and that our order is exactly as it is supposed to be. Nelsons crew did an excellent job of installing our last kitchen and they made sure everything was cleaned up perfectly before they left. Great job everyone! We will be back.

The granite came out looking better than we thought it would. They made sure where the rock was cut the design would follow through the cut which was a pleasant surprise. As far as the sealant they used, it quickly came off around the sink and when I called them about a reapplication, we never heard back. Ultimately a good value but dont expect them to go above and beyond.

Granite was by far the cheapest in town. Riley was very helpful and professional. Custom cabinets were also much cheaper than other stores and better quality materials. Some of the cabinets came out with flaws, but these were either corrected or replaced. Overall experience was positive and would use them again.

A1 replaced our old laminate kitchen counters with granite and I could not be more pleased with the final product. Their installers were polite and while they arrived late, they worked quickly and cleanly. I also could not believe how affordable this project was, and that the granite color I wanted was at the price point it was at, installation included. Theyve been great to work with.

Our experience seems typical of the bad experiences of others who gave one or two star reviews. The sales person I worked with was very nice, helpful, and responsive when we were choosing our cabinets and granite counter top. The problems came with the installation. They told us they were going to start the installation on a Saturday. The cabinets werent delivered until after 10:00 am and the installers, who had to leave at 2:00 pm, didnt show up until 12:30. They did return on Monday, but some of the doors on the cupboards werent strait so those were taken off to be fixed. The drawer handles werent installed where we wanted them, which wasnt terrible except on the top drawers. Theyve said they would replace the top drawers to remedy this, but havent scheduled a day to do this. Its now been a week and several un-returned phone calls later and they still havent fixed the problems that need to be fixed.****UPDATE: I upgraded the review because all of our concerns have been addressed. Lodge even came to the house to make sure what needed done was getting done. It did take one more visit to the house, by the installers, to finish, but that was just some touch-up work and adjusting of cabinet doors. We are now very happy with our cabinets and granite. I probably would have given 5 stars if we hadnt had the original issues. I appreciate that Ken, Lodge and Dia all worked to make sure that the concerns we had were addressed.

Took off work to make sure we were home during the removal. They told us between 10-noon ... we waited until after noon, called, they said theyre tied up at the morning place, itll be shortly after noon waited until 2:45. Called again. They said 3:30 called at 3:45... they said theyre on their way, theyll be there in 20 min its now been 40+ minutes and we are still waiting... follow-up review to come...When they came to remove/install, the workers were extremely polite and cleaned up after themselves well. The granite looks awesome. The complaint I have is that they took off the backsplash and ruined our drywall (didnt know that had to happen) and then when installing, they cut into the wall since the drywall wasnt a perfect square... then they didnt even use the gap they placed in the drywall, so theres a gap at the back of the counter. They assured me that was normal when I addressed it at the signing, but Im honestly not sure how a gap at the back of the counters is a normal thing... they also took our screws for our garbage disposal... Im sure they just assumed they were theirs, but we had to go out and buy new ones (a chore when they arent just normal screws).I would recommend A1 to anyone that wants the cheapest option available, but as far as the details, they definitely lacked/didnt follow through with things they said/did... Id be cautious using them unless you are ONLY trying to save $$ and arent too worried about the outcome.

I have been building homes and restoring condominiums for twenty years and thus have worked with many subcontractors. Last year, I decided to switch my granite and cabinet supplier to A-l in Lincoln, NE. Initially, I was very happy with their effort to provide a quality product at a very reasonable price. However, a piece of granite was installed in one of my new homes that, in my opinion, was cosmetically flawed. When I indicated my dissatisfaction, rather than taking a defensive posture, the owner (Ken) simply said, “If you are not happy, we will replace it”. This gesture made it clear that their sincere goal is to insure customer satisfaction and A-1 is now my primary supplier of granite and cabinets.

A1 did a fabulous job on our new kitchen countertop. We replaced our outdated one with new granite. It was a complicated top with lots of curves and angles and the new one fit perfectly. The installers were professional, timely, and left a clean jobsite. The price was lower than we expected. Maria in the office was a wonderful person to work with.

I had a granite kitchen countertop and three granite bathroom vanities installed about 4 months ago. They are all very different and VERY beautiful and I continually receive compliments from friends and family. Excellent service by the installers and outstanding help in the showroom from Gina. All in all, a great experience!

Cheap and Fast! I needed a custom vanity width but didnt want to spend much as I wouldnt be in the house long. Riley got me a great solution. I even ended up buying new granite countertops because they were so reasonably priced. When the faucet holes werent working, they had someone onsite next day to fix it at no charge.Would love to see them make the quote process all electronic - driving to air park isnt very convenient. But otherwise all positive feedback.

Theyre very good about helping you choose the granite you want and they do a great job of installation.

The cabinets and granite are beautiful. The installation was horrible! It cost us a lot of additional money to have a destroyed outlet left with a live wire replaced. We had to buy a new faucet because the granite was not cut for the existing one. The plumber had to come back out and cut where the cabinets covered the dishwasher turnoff switch.

Terrible!!!! Made me buy more quartz than I needed then wouldn’t give it to me when I needed it for another area. They measured wrong then tore up my new kitchen walls at installation. The damage was extensive....they are VERY incompetent!

Still waiting for completion. Tired of calling and not getting things done. Ordered in November, and still not completed.

The quality of workmanship is not as good as other places. Found several flaws in my granite countertops. But it is the cheapest prices for granite in Lincoln. You get what you pay for.
