Theyre the only auto parts store in town with a machine shop, ( that I could find ).And the only store that could get my engine bearings.

If I could give 0 stars on a review they would get 0. I called to get a quote to have a set of heads resurfaced and to change 2 exhaust valves(which I supplied with seals). They quoted me $90 so I brought the heads and dropped them off. They called me 5 days later asking me what I wanted done. I told them the same exact thing as when I called and when I dropped off with a note. They called me 2 days later saying the heads were done. I asked what the total was and I was told $248.I processed to ask why they were now $248 when I was quoted $90. Then I was told that normally they charge $300 to do what they did and that $248 was a really good price. I told him what I was quoted and he said that it’s $90 for machining and it’s $300 for a complete valve job. The whole issue here is they did way more than I asked and they won’t do anything about the price.Never again will I come to this store after the terrible service and communication they have.

First let me say, Joe in the machine shop was very nice and was easy to work with. That being said, I took a Mini Cooper head in to have new valve seats put in and he also replaced a few of the valves and valve guides. Less then 3 months after that a seat dropped out and then the valve broke off which grenaded the engine. It shredded the piston, head, and cracked the block. Joe wanted to help but the store manager said they wouldnt do anything about it. So i spent over $700 only to have to put a new engine in my car and they wouldnt even return the money paid for the labor for their mistaken.

Yeah the Machine Shop was great there was a guy named Joe that help me out he knew what was going on and thats the guy Im going back to anytime I need machine work done on an engine.

Dealing with Joe in the machine shop has been amazing. He did everything i asked him to do for my heads for my Subaru. He got it done by the time I asked even though it was a small timeframe and he had other jobs to do. He was a pleasure to work with. He went above and beyond for me to make sure i was satisfied. I am very impressed and definitely have nothing bad to say. Thank you, Joe!!!

I called to see if they carried the breaks I needed. The sales rep said they had Wagner breaks all in stock. I said I’d show up the next day at noon. I show up and the sales rep isn’t there, two other men were who “were familiar with the deal”. They had a receipt printed out and parts pulled for Wearever breaks, about the worst you can buy. I said this wasn’t the agreement, they said they don’t carry Wagner. It was clear they knew I was told Wagner and didn’t apologize for the “mistake”. I left and went to O’Riley’s.
