Very good experience. I had an old edger that my father gave me which hadnt been used in a few years. Call them about fixing it. I liked the honesty over the phone. Well take a look at it, if we can fix it we will if we cant well let you know. But it was the attitude that I liked. It wasnt rude, it was very friendly. I like that. Took it in, they said they could fix it, a day later they called and it was done. It was in pretty rough shape, so I was very pleased that the total repair was under $100. Plus they are extremely outgoing and friendly. Spent about a half hour each time I went in just standing around talking to the guys. I would highly recommend them for all your lawn equipment and snow removal equipment needs. Trust me, you will not be disappointed.

I was having problems with my mower last year took it to a place in Riverview. Went to start it this year and the motor was completely seized up. I found R and R repair on google search. I took it there late right before close, they got back to me mid day the following day with explanation of what was wrong and I picked it up the following day. He started it up and ran it in front of me. I was completely satisfied! Also, very reasonable pricing. I highly recommend!

Great experience all the way around. They helped me unload my machine and get it into the shop and told me it would be a day or two. The following morning they called and let me know what the price would be to repair it and had it done that afternoon. When I picked it up they once again help me load it. I can personally vouch as to why there are so many five-star reviews.From the moment I walked into the shop to the moment I left I was treated respectfully, given full attention to my snow blower issue and left with a promise that I would hear from them next day.Sure enough, as promised, next morning I received a call with cost of repair ( which was very reasonable), and promised my machine would be ready just after noon.Needless to say I was very impressed with the quick 1- day turnaround, especially since they had to rebuild the fouled carburetor, and also the courteous and friendly service I received.I need to mention that I brought the machine in with the engine covers partially disassembled and missing all the fasteners, and they replaced them form even though I told them that I could find screws and do it myself.Before paying for the repair, we went outside and tested the snow blower and I was given some tips on proper starting as well as how to maintain the machine after the end of the season to avoid future problems with carburetor.This level of service is hard to find this day and age and I give this father and son team five stars. Should I need any future lawnmower or snow blower work I will definitely return. I highly recommend R & R to anyone Downriver or nearby needing small engine repair. Keep up the good work, guys ! The owner was awesome at a time that we needed. Due to storms in our area, we lost power at our home and we could not get our generator to start. The owner set aside some of the work that he was doing to work on our generator because he understood the need. He saved us from losing all of the food in our refrigerator and deep freezer!! These guys are GREAT!!! I recommend them 100%!!! I brought my snowblower in for repair and had it back in two days. Even though they told me it would be several days I expected two weeks at least compared to my experiences elsewhere. When I picked it up, they went through everything they did and how to keep it running properly. I even thought their fee if you didn’t want to have it repaired was very reasonable and a lot less than other places. I found them to be professional, knowledgeable and very courteous. I used too think this was a good place to go to get my equipment fixed.I spent hundreds of dollars at this business over the last 3 years by buying equipment from them and getting equipment repaired.I bought a mower, a walk behind weed trimmer and a weed whip along with getting blades sharpened and the like.Now that they are busy they want to give me the run around about repairing equipment.I want them to find another customer that has been so supportive of their small business as I have been and that has spent as much money with them as I have.Once businesses get busy they forget about those that supported them when they werent so busy.Far from a false review, you told me to come in Friday after I came in on Monday and your son told me after I came in when you told me too that you couldnt get to it until Monday or Tuesday, you did not say it would be ready by Monday or Tuesday so stop your lying..Now I got an attitude after you gave me the run around.

Took my snowblower in on Tuesday for repairs, was told they would call with an estimate on Wednesday or Friday as Thursday was Thanksgiving and that it could take up to 3 weeks for repair to be completed. Sure enough they called Friday with the estimate, and said it would be ready for pick-up by 2 that afternoon!I would recommend R&R lawnmower repair to anyone! 5 star service!

I rarely write reviews but I really had a terrible experience in this place. I asked, very nicely, for an estimate of how much they usually fix a mower and the owner started yelling and accusing me of being an Arab who only negotiate for low prices. I was shocked by how rude and dramatic he was. Honestly, I do not know much about mowers and wanted to know the prices the mower repair shops would charge. Instead of answering my questions, he was accusing me of being an Arab and yelling at me. As a business owner, if you do not want to answer your customers questions regarding the prices, you can refuse politely without being racist.

Awesome experience!!! Dropped off our snowblower on a Monday, was told it would be 2 days for a diagnosis, and they called the next day, with an extremely fair quote. On top of that, they offered same day repair (which was not necessary for us). When we picked up the snowblower, one of the gentlemen insisted on showing us how well it worked. One easy effortless pull-which totally blew my mind!!! He made sure we knew how to properly operate it which was much appreciated. They treated us very well as females-cannot wait to try out the snowblower! I highly recommend their service.

A slight smell gasoline and oil permeates the small family run store. Definitely a mechanic’s place. After showing me the damage to my blade and the starting difficulties, they let me know that the repairs on mine would not be worth it on my 10 year old snowblower. No charge. Went in for a tune up which I paid $100 for only to have my snow blower stop working after 1 run. I figured I would give these guys a call back and was told there is no warranty for their work even though they had just performed the tune up. I decided to open the machine up myself to find that they never even changed my spark plug. They basically did nothing but maybe clean the outside of the engine. I would recommend going to a shop that will at least honor their work.

I dropped off my mower on Monday. Got a call Tuesday by noon that it was done. This is after getting a call Monday afternoon to inform me that it would be done by that time. Professional. Polite. Exceptional service. Anand they explain in detail what they did. Above the repair? They wiped the mower clean! All my repairs go here. Period!!!

Great service on my Craftsman weedwacker. Starts right up quickly. Robby is very knowledgeable about small engine repairs. He showed me how I can change the head of the weedwacker to edge my lawn. He cleaned and adjusted the carburetor, new fuel lines, changed the spark plug. He is professional, he knows what he’s talking about. Most important, his charges are very reasonable, very prompt, and he takes the time to explain what repairs he did and makes sure it works before you leave.
