I am new to the area. Way way better than the one on greenfield. Avoid the Kroger on greenfield at all costs. This location in Lincoln Park is much better.

Kroger on Dix has improved its look. It’s more modern and roomy. They even have their own sushi stand now. If you ask Van, he’ll make the sushi roll to order. There is a convenient bank inside and a gas station next to the Dix Rd entrance. The only thing I don’t like about this location is the crowded parking lot. It’s a popular place. As a stand-alone store there isn’t much that can be done to improve the congestion except to go on off hours, I suppose.

I love doing my online grocery pickups at this Kroger! Also the inside is nice & clean

I like the store but do not appreciate the fact that they will not give you a receipt on clicklist pickup orders. When you go online to get the receipt it does not match with what they see at 1 800 Krogers. This causes a tremendous amount of confusion.

Ive always been a huge fan of Kroger but even more so now that they have super stores & excellent sales prices every week! They also have a large variety of prepared foods like rotisserie chicken & Hummus or even sushi that you can take home & eat for dinner that night! They are my first choice shopping!

Usually a 4 star but this morning they have 1 register open and this poor lady doesn’t even have a bagger😭. All the self checkouts are card only with no cash back. 😐. They need some help 🙁

Security guard was extremely rude. My husband asked why one of the doors were closed, wondering if it closes at a certain time and the security said, because I closed it, go on through the other door, extremely rudely.

Can you guys please please please with sugar on top fix the debit card issue at pick up? My Kroger card and debit card both never work back there and I always have money in my account. One of the workers mentioned that the system was not being fixed for some reason. Pleaaaase fix it. :)

I didnt feel comfortable in this store. Too many people piled on top of each other at checkout. The young lady bagging my groceries had her mask under her chin and on top of that was just throwing groceries in my cart. She packed frozen foods with notebooks. Really? I wont return to this location. I do appreciate the employees that are following safety protocol though!

This Kroger advertises their money services as being open until 9 PM and then they tell me it closes at 8 PM when I get there, yet there was no one to help me when I got there at 7:50.

Only 3 cashiers with lines extending into food isles, self check out only takes cards and the other self check out is closed, why make your customers wait in long lines, management at this facility drops the ball

UpdateLast time Im going to this sht hole is today. Went to grab simple ingredients and couldnt find anything. Floors everywhere looked disgusting glad they didnt have what I was looking for. Oh by the way this Kroger never has shopping carts youll have to fetch one in the parking lot. This place is a joke and needs way better management!!This Kroger is scuzzy gross and Everytime I go to this one they never have nothing in stock. I dread going to this one every time

Whenever I have to go grocery shopping I am always relieved when I dont need non grocery items so.that I dont have to go to Meijer and can go to this Kroger. It may be an older grocery store yet despite its slightly antiquated checkout machines I am in and out unlike meijer which often has lines going to the back of the store on a wednesday afternoon for whatever unthinkable reason.

If you are high risk or have a high risk family member you see PLEASE dont shop here unless you are able to go close to the time they closeSO many people dont wear their masks, including store workers. Or they are only wearing over their mouths. I saw several Kroger workers ignore a woman without a mask in the produce section. I realize no store employee should have to risk their safety to say something. The police should be called tho or hire 2 security guards to work together. Havent seen this issue at any other grocery stores. Not saying it hasnt happened but havent seen itIf you can afford instacart or walmart plus please use that if you are high risk and cant make it to other stores.Not trying to be disrespectful of essential workers. Well stocked store usually, aisles narrow so sometimes hard to navigate. Employees are hit or miss on finding one or level of friendliness. All and all, not bad other than the parking.

Always push our online order hours past the time. Never have pullup and they do not inform me that they are out or let me make Substitute anything.

They no longer have senior shopping hours and they do not require you to wear face covering. Theyre starting to price like they are the only store in town. Just terrible, I called corporate last week and complained. She asked me what I wanted, I said I just wanted a safe place to shop. Well Cincinnati Ohio bass Kroger Ill take my business elsewhere. Maybe Michigan baste Meijer. 😉

My experiences here havent been bad except for one particular area, and its happened multiple times. Their produce scan code system is bad. On more than a couple occasions Ive scanned produce at the self checkouts and it rings up as the wrong item and price. I have not had this problem at other grocery stores, I still come here sometimes because its close and smaller which makes it good when needing just a couple things... like a specific piece of produce, if it would just ring up correctly.As for other complaints, theyre right. The parking lot is small, people dont take their carts back, the customers do smell like marijuana, on more than one occasion customers have smelled like certain bodily fluids, and there are always employees smoking outside. You cant blame the store for the people going there though, the checkout people have always been helpful and the shelves are always stocked with what I need.

The baked chicken in the deli is dry as sand. The sale items are good they actually have them in stock. Whip frosting cakes, delicious. Pies are yummy. Lines move fast. Prices are a little higher for many items. The variety is better than some of the competition for sure. Easy in easy out.

LOVE my neighborhood Kroger. Always great service, I shop often early morning during the week. Especially LOVE Sandy in the gas department. One particular manager I see often & hes always actively interacting with everyone. Thumbs up to this location!!!

Reasonable selection and prices on most things. Great produce. Even has the mini shoots that I can never find anywhere else. Sadly, they do not ALWAYS have my aged Asiago cheese, but then, only Mary Poppins is practically perfect. Excellent check out and very helpful staff.

This pharmacy will rip you off faster than you can blink. For months I was filling a prescription that wasn’t covered by my insurance and not once did they notify. I have come in multiple times trying to pick up a prescription and they have told meOh you insurance has changed and they won’t let you pick up 90 days. Come to find out they do. The last year has been the biggest headache of my life. I’m done.

No where to park ever, parking lot is a mess to get into and out of. City should seriously think of making traffic lights separate for each way of traffic. The way its setup now its amazing there isnt accidents there every 5 min

I love Kroger! This store is very busy but the staff and the pharmacy are very good and professional. Very friendly store for how busy they are. It is hard to enter and exit due to traffic. Very busy intersection so be careful. Sometimes not the safest place due to drugs in area. Just be aware. I go here often but am careful.

Ive been shopping at this Kroger since I was 6 years old. That was 20 years ago, and it has been my main store the entire time. The store isnt as fancy as some high class markets, but its nicer than many others Ive been to. They recently revamped the place. They have sushi now (WOOOO!!) and the aisles are well organized. The produce section is always well stocked, and the staff is always friendly. The parking lot is a touch annoying if you use the Southfield exit (traffic light for the lot exit, for NO reason) but thats the closest thing I have to a complaint. I come here for everything. Baked goods, meats, veggies, shampoo, pans, cakes, flowers, razors, pharmacy, frozen desserts... They recently added a nice sized liquor section with STATE MINIMUM prices. If I ever want to get booze, Ill be coming here.

Used to love this place but I stopped going due to the very rude Deli lady (Michelle I think). After 3 times I was done.

One morning I stopped into the store to have balloons blown up for my coworker to surprise her for her birthday when I went to the store there was no one around I finally saw someone standing at the time clock getting ready to go home I told her what I needed she went to the customer service desk and talk to the person working the desk she paged someone to come blow up the balloons for me the person never came I saw another worker employee I asked him how could I have balloon blown up he wants to back to get someone which told me that I had to wait another 15 minutes because he was assisting a customer in the store that was fine I feel if this store opens in the morning most of their customers is coming in or on their way to work and some of the time is restricting so this door should be prepared for whatever type of service they receive in the morning I was very disappointed there was no one in the store but one person that knew how to work the blue machine the person behind the customer service desk should basic know how to work everything in that store just in case they have to step in to help another coworker I was in that store just about 45 minutes trying to get two balloons blown up

Location is exactly what we need.Wide variety of selections, meats are always fresh, deli food, love it.Staff is SPOT ON!NO finger pointing nor yelling aisle 48!, or whatever!Staff walked me right up to the items I wanted! He didnt say what aisle, he walked me to it !I love that Kroger!Always a pleasant experience going there.

Their management must not be aware of the customer needs based on the wait time and disorganized store. 9am and the lines are to almost to the back coolers.

Very clean & quiet. Mornings best time 2 shop, especially fri morn no one wants 2 shop. There were very few people shopping.

Parking was easy, I really had a pleasant time when I was ready to check out. The staff was friendly and professional, not to mention fast, they respected peoples time. All and all a good experience.

I like Kroger. They sell the freshest milk around from local dairies...and you definitely can taste the difference. They usually have a lot of buy ten items for$10.00 deals. Their produce is okay. Their meats are pretty pricey, but you can usually find something in the meat dept on sale.

Garbage store. They might have revamped their look but they’re still the same store and people working. The pharmacy sucks. The parking lot is too small. A script that was sent at 1pm should be done long before 5pm. Why is it still not counted out by the time I get here? I will never shop here again.

Krogers is in the middle of a huge renovation and so far the changes are looking great. On top of more room, there are sales all throughout the store, many with huge savings. Over all, a great store to visit.

Under new management. Meat dept needs to do a better job of having meat that is advertised on special out and ready. Save a lot and Walmart offer a larger selection for less.

Doesnt have a large selection of hair products for black people, but its a typical Kroger: relatively good prices. Pretty good for everything else grocery wise.

This is a rather small Kroger. They do have a gas station. Their prices are generally a bit higher than WM. Gas is higher by a few cents a gallon but if you have a Kroger rewards card you can get 3 cents off per gallon. If you spend $100 you get 10 cents off per gallon.They have drive thru Rx service which is handy.

It is currently being remodeled with customer access. The deli is on pause during this process. The employees are still at their best. Shopping here has always been a good experience and I look forward to the upgrades.

This establishment is a nightmare with high prices and long lines. The parking lot is small and horrendous with buggies everywhere. The staff can also be rude and unwilling to care.

The store is decent enough but navigating the poorly designed parking lot & dealing with the traffic on Southfield is beyond ridiculous. It takes so much longer than it should to pull outta there. A 15 minute trip to the store can easily turn into a half an hour or more because of the parking situation.

Its a Zoo, the customers need politeness training. I was standing in line to ring out and a customer in front of me shot me the dirtiest look when the belt was moved by the cashier her look was reminiscent of the words you pushy b****. I even made light of the situation to the cashier and the lady didnt even blink or apologize, I told her I didnt do it!I dont know how the cashiers keep their self poised Otila was very professional she even said thanks for giving me a chuckle and making my day 😂

We go here all the time for our food. In fact this is the primary place we get our food. The only problem we have is that sale items are not always stocked very well. The people are friendly and the deals are pretty good. If you get a kroger card you can save money on gas too.

The service that I receive whether I’m at the Customer service counter or the meat department the staff is friendly and helpful. The digital coupons is awesome, along with the fuel points.

Store for the most part is staffed with rude and/or unpleasant employees. Often out of key items, or wrong items stocked in their place. Store is also either understaffed, or poorly managed. Long lines at the self checkout due to only half of them being open, and only one regular checkout lane open. Save yourself the grief, and visit the store in Southgate, it is much nicer, and has a better selection.

I usually shop here when I need groceries since it’s close to my house. I try to go early in the morning when they have things in stock.

The website states that the gas station part opens up at 6, however, every time I go in the morning to get gas and the girl with the green hair Katie works, she is always late. I get that it may only be about 5 - 10 minutes late but thats a lot when you have a schedule to keep and kids to get to school on time. Also, the younger guy with the dark hair that runs the gas station mainly at night is very unfriendly and extremely rude. Now, I will say this, the older lady that works at the gas station is absolutely WONDERFUL!!! The other employees need to take a page out of her book!!!

Shopping here is rather expensive and the Kroger card doesnt save enough.The things they put on sale r things theyre notvsellung enough of or they have to much and they want to make sure they get rid of most of it. They should put things like coffee (instant)meats have a sale on roast beef sliced things that people buy everyday and maybe they would be a place that people like to go not just cause they r the closest place..

Today not so good and under construction. Very little on the shelfs. But all, the employees were working very hard. Very dark by produce. Plus after spending 150.00 they forgot to give me my salmon and had to call the store. They found it but not doing me any good for dinner tonight. Ugh.

Moldy mini pies for 1 buck. Peach and pineapple. Ate one. Other noticed when turned over on bottom. Had 3 days left till expired.Trash in lot. Nasty...

They recently remodeled, its very nice. They always have good sales, but a lot of times they are out of stock in those items.

I was told 30-45 min for ONE eye infection script...... one hr later i return n have to give them my insurance card AGAIN cause when i was there earlier they DIDNT do their job......n was told ANOTHER 20 MIN...... Im now patiently waiting...............THIS PLACE SUCKS DONT!!!!!

I purchased 2 visa gift cards for $20 each and didnt realize that there was a $5.95 fee for each until I got outside of the store. I immediately went to the service counter to refund them and they refused. I dont know if there was a sign posted out this or not but I didnt think it mattered because the transaction was done less than 10 minutes ago and they have my information such as my drivers license number, Kroger card number, etc. They refused to refund them. I felt as if they were being unreasonable. I could see I didnt do it immediately but I did. I am on a very tight budget.

I mainly shop for produce here since its almost always well priced and fresh. Staff arent really available if you needed a question answered as most are on register or desk. But If you come often its pretty easy to get a handle on where things are.Prices are reasonable, I like that the baby/infant isle has a huge selection of products. I shopped here exclusively when my son was an infant.If you donate plasma you can get the money taken off your card at the front desk for no extra charge ( other than the .25¢)Four stars because the parking can get ridiculous on certain days of the month. Getting in and out can be a real hassle if you dont push your weight around.

Forced to to walk past horrible smelling animal products just to check out. This is probably the worse Kroger I have ever been to. Sad to see Kroger even put their name on it. The one on Michigan Ave and Outer drive is completely different. Healthier selections and veggie friendly.

Awful cashier !!! His name was Patrick. Got upset I had to put large bag of dog food on conveyor belt (it was sitting on top of my basket) in order to get to my groceries. Asked me what did I think HE was going to do with it. I HAD TO LIFT IT A SECOND TIME and put at end of register. (I have a VERY bad back). Then after putting groceries on belt to be rung up, I HAD TO LIFT BAG OF DOG FOOD AGAIN !!! I told him, Im not supposed to be lifting this I have cracks in tailbone and spine and needed help. HE said HE WAS TO OLD TO BE DOING THAT SORT IF THING !!! I mentioned that he looked to be MY AGE and he was a MAN. (And yes it hurt my back. Ive spent the last 12 hours in extreme pain.) Then he got upset over me having coupons and kept giving them back to me. Said I DIDNT BUY THE STUFF on the coupon. I actually had to take my groceries out of my bag and prove I had purchased them. He continued to argue. At the end of it some of my coupons DISAPPEARED and I did NOT get credit for them. Even the next couple of people in line behind me told him he was wrong !!! After finally cashing out I went to front desk and told them.. THEY DID NOTHING ABOUT IT !!! She was to busy flirting with some guy.I NORMALLY love Kroger. But this was a HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE !!!PATRICK, HAS HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS !!!If you cant do your job then get a different one !!!Im highly dissapointed in Kroger right now !!!
