It’s more of a split bill than 1 star would suggest but a total lack of communication, months of slow-rolling a response and finally, being forced to file an action in order to receive a promised refund takes a potentially 4-star installation and sales process and flushes it away. The installer was good, and worked over 2 days to install the main fence. However, the first day they did not bring the second fence type that was part of the project as promised. It took more than an additional week to get the final gate hung because they also forgot to send the gate latch and hinges. When they did deliver the PVC fencing it was immediately noted that it was the wrong style/size. They asked for the installer to verify it was indeed not a match for the fencing already in place, which he did when back on site to hang the other gate. They then asked, another week later, to try to come up with a better match if they were unable to source the actual style. I agreed. Another week goes by and I was told they would not be able to match the fence and so I would receive a refund check in the mail in 7-10 days and they would pick up the materials. It has been more than 2 months since those 10-days passed and despite multiple calls, texts and emails, and at least two appointments when they would be picking up the materials and delivering the refund they have been no-shows each time. Now, approximately 3-months after alerting them to delivering the wrong product and being offered a refund for the materials, with an owner who has not once taken or returned a call directly I am forced to file a court action to bring the matter to a close.

This is the best company for not only fences and material but general customer service. Emilio is so helpful and informative. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars. I’d recommend them 7 days a week and twice on Sunday because they are vets, hard workers, and generally good people.

Forever fence has helped me post Covid and after helping me any which way possible to receive materials Emilio it’s fantastic to work with awesome guy great to talk to look forward to doing more business with this company in the future.

My boyfriend and I chose forever fence to upgrade our chain link fence to a nice 6 foot privacy fence, forever fence was amazing! Sue who provided us with the quote was very professional and friendly! The gentleman who installed the fence were great, they were hard workers and took pride in their work 100% and did not rush the process whatsoever. I would definitely recommend them to anyone look for a fence.

EDIT - the owner of the company is now trying to negate this review by claiming we have a past due balance. This is inaccurate, untrue, and frankly slanderous. We paid a bulk of the work and were to pay a remaining $600 when the work was completed, but the work was never completed, and nobody from Forever Fence has returned our calls or texts in SEVEN MONTHS to discuss any of this. To publicly claim that this is due to a past due balance and threatening collections for incomplete work is inaccurate and unethical. We were also never notified of collections, which suggests that this is this companys recourse for an accurate review that they do not like.UPDATE - Called the company 3/23, left a voicemail, have not heard back.If you look at every negative review on this company, each one is met with the owner of the company personally attacking the reviewer instead of working to fix the problem.The product installed is fair quality, but the service overall left a great deal to be desired. The crew on site helped themselves to our personal equipment in our shed without asking one day, including a wheelbarrow, because they had not brought one. We let management know, and they spoke to the crew. The next day, the crew asked again to use the wheelbarrow (because they still didnt have one) and I told them they could. An hour later I found them using it to mix cement. I found this very unprofessional.The latch for the gate was installed improperly. We promptly notified the company (this was in July 2020) and they sent someone to fix the latch. It was better, but still not effective in closing the gate, the latch was damaged when it was installed incorrectly. The company explained to us that they would replace the door and latch to make sure it met standards. In September 2020, we reached out again to express our concern for the lack of communication, and have not heard back since. It is currently late March, 2021, the latch and gate are still in the same state, and the company did not return our property survey after stating they would make a copy and get the original back to us.Overall, though we are happy with the fence itself, we did not receive the service and communication we expected in the transaction, which is odd considering the size of the job. Neighbors asked us where we got our fence from, admiring the look of it, but we did not feel comfortable referring.

We had an old chain link fence replaced in our backyard.Its a huge backyard and it required quite a bit of fence.Emilios team was here when he said they would be and did a very professional job.We werent totally happy with one post so his men immediately replaced it,no question.We are extremely happy with our new fence and will definitely use Forever Fence for any future needs.

Forever Fence out of Lincoln Park installed our fence March 24th, 2020. We immediately had several problems with it, including multiple pieces that dislodged and needed to be hammered back in.Afterwards, one of the gates wouldnt close properly and several other pieces popped loose. I reached out to the owner, Emilio and let him know. The first time he sent a couple of his guys out to repair the loose panels. The next time when I told him the gate needed to be readjusted he said that it would be $250 for his guys to come take a look at it. They were on another job on our block at the time. We said we werent paying anything for them to fix it because he just put it in several months earlier and it was covered under his warranty. He agreed to send his guys over to fix the fence. I have called multiple times and sent multiple e-mails with the pictures since without a word from him. Yesterday when I called his business number, a woman answered, I said I would like to speak with Emilio and she hung up on me. I left him one more message yesterday with a final warning that if he didnt stand by his work and repair our fence, I would make a complaint to the BBB and post it all over social media. No response. Ive since learned that many people have had the same complaint about this company. Now the second gate is starting to not close properly. I suggest you use someone else for your fencing!!All we want is for them to stand by their product and finish the job! We cant even open the gate anymore. He said that it settles and is not his responsibility any more. In four months?? Its now digging into our brand new fence. I dont think they poured enough concrete in it to begin with since the posts wobble in the holes.

Do not go to this place for you invisible fencing needs for your dogs..I am out $3,000 for a system that did not work from day 1. The collar shocked my dog for a good 5 minutes without being anywhere near the line. The dog ran inside and it was still shocking her until I put my hand between her and the collar (which then was shocking me) still was shocking while in my hands. All the lines are above ground exposed to where my granddaughter trip on it and cracked her front tooth..its a nightmare and he refuses to return my money or pick up his equipment..buyer beware!!

They are very nice, also sell and install invisible fence for dogs and now robotic lawn mower which uses the same type of system as your dogs 👍

This company is amazing!I had an emergency last minute fence issue with a town while trying to sell a family members house. So the town wouldn’t let us close until we moved the fence line or take the fence down.I called and spoke to Dottie. She understood the urgency in my request and had Emilio come out the next day. He was so helpful in explaining the options to get done what we needed to do. He gave me a quote the same day. Emilio filed the permit with the town for us. They ordered the fence and installed it the day it was delivered! The guys were there pretty late after dinnertime to get it done for us! Emilio and Dottie both called me the next day to follow up and make sure we were satisfied. The new fence looks fabulous for the new buyers! Definitely a first class Company!!!

My fence was damaged during the last storm..I called Amelio and dealt with him..Told him my situation that my fence was basically destroyed and I needed my fence fixed quick because I have a dog who uses the backyard frequently throughout the day..Amelio gave me a date and actually fit me in two weeks earlier than expected..His guys came and did a great job..I will definitely recommend him to my friends...

If you’re going to get a fence, you need to use FOREVER FENCE! From start to finish, Emilio made the process extremely easy. We decided to fence in our entire yard which was a huge project. Emilio made sure we went over all options before we started and I couldn’t be happier with the result! My wife and I love sitting outside and hearing all the compliments from the neighbors!

Out of the multiple estimates I received Sue at Forever Fence was the only one to go over in detail options that would suit my need. Pricing was more than fair especially since the job was not straight forward (roughly 300ft of existing fence had to be removed and was surrounded by excess brush on uneven land). Scheduling was prompt. Emilio followed up with me to let me know when the product/dumpster was being delivered. The workers themselves were not only professional but went above and beyond by filling in gaps between the uneven ground and the bottom of the fence with neatly packed dirt. They left our property cleaner than when they came in. Overall I’m extremely happy from top to bottom with their services. Highly recommend.

After a tree fell and crashed my fence I called Emilio. He was able to come out and give me an estimate the next day. The price was great. The new aluminum fence matched mine perfectly. I asked for a quote to install a new wood fence and was contacted right away. Emilio came to my house and gave me an estimate on the spot. He was very willing to answer all of my questions when he was there. I emailed him a couple of days later that we would be going ahead with the work and he responded very quickly with a contract. Although we did not use the cheaper option I appreciate him telling us about it. When the crew came to install the fence they were very polite and kept a clean job site.

We had appt for owner to come and give us estimate for new fence installation- NO SHOW, NO CALL, NO ANSWER. I understand things can come up... BUT not acceptable if there is no communication.When an intended contractor starts like this, it always makes me wonder how the rest will be, and it shows lack of responsibility!! NOT A GOOD START.

Great installation. Timely work. Our gate broke early in its life due to a combination of heavy winds and incorrect hinges. Forever came out within 2 business days and repaired and whole gate and installed better hinges. 100% would recommend

My husband found Emilio on Yelp and I am SO happy he did! Emilio came and provided us with a great price and the best service. His team came and installed the fence within one day. They did a superior job, were extremely friendly and flexible when we asked them to make a few adjustment to the original plans. They even wiped down the fence once they were finished installing. It truly adds to the beauty of our home. This was our first fence installation process and I would use Forever Fence all over again.

Forever Fence installed a beautiful, inconspicuous, L-shaped, gated run for my two dogs. BUYER BEWARE!!! Emilio is a great salesperson, that is where my positive comments regarding Forever Fence (The Goal Group of New Jersey, Inc.) end.I was instructed that I must be home for the installation – fine, that is understandable. I had my current fence extended into my driveway and along the other side of my house. The crew needed to make holes in the asphalt to place the poles for the new installation, generating asphalt and rock debris. This debris was scattered in the landscaping of my yard without my knowledge or permission. Mind you – I was home the entire time. It would’ve taken two minutes for someone to discuss this with me.When I brought this to Emilio’s attention, he asked me if I would like a price for disposal. I was also then advised that they don’t deal with debris generated from the jobs they perform. How is that possible? And why wasn’t this brought to my attention before or even during the project? It would have been better for the crew to leave the debris in a pile in the driveway, instead they chose to destroy my landscaping. Emilio’s solution was to provide me with a price for disposal or to issue me a $50 credit, which wouldn’t even cover the cost of paying a landscaper to clean up the mess. As I had planned on doing more work with Forever Fence next summer, I brought that to his attention and stated that at the very least I expected someone to bag up the debris. To which he finally agreed.After this experience, I decided to take a closer look at the installation. At which point I noticed that the poles which were installed in the driveway were not fully cemented to the same level as the asphalt. Mind you – I have an email from Emilio stating, “We will fill the holes with cement up to the level of the asphalt, unless you ask us to leave the cement below grade in the event you would like to patch it with asphalt”. I confirmed that I wanted the poles cemented to the level of the asphalt.Upon notifying Emilio that two poles required additional cement (photos were provided), I was advised that I would incur additional service call charges if he sent someone out. As we already had agreed to have someone return to clean up the debris, I suggested that both matters be addressed at the same time. I was told that this wasn’t possible, “Because I am sending a female salesperson who offered to take care of it.” I’m not sure why Emilio/Forever Fence would ruin a customer relationship instead of doing the right thing. At this point I wanted to end all dealings with this company and suggested a $100 credit and I would handle these matters myself. After much back and forth, I was told the credit would only be issued if I signed a release and agreed not to leave a review about my experience. I initially agreed but have since changed my mind – this company will come in at a lower price point than other vendors, but you will definitely end up paying more in the end. Spend your hard-earned money elsewhere, we wish we had.

Emilio came out for an estimate and was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. The fence was installed with no problems and the workers were professional and cleaned up their area.
